Sweet Revenge
1 - The Heart Breaking Betrayal
Load Full StoryNext ChapterSunset Shimmer. A girl who has made a lot of wrong doings, but has done everything in her power to make things right. She has sinned and sinned, but she has been graced with the magic of friendship. Or so she thought... there she was in the hallway crying her eyes out, while her friends had walked away looking at her with hateful eyes. Sunset didn't know what to say or do. What had she done to deserve this hate? She knows of her wrong doings in the past, Hell, she hasn't fully forgiven herself from doing those things. Well, no one at the school apparently had, as many of them were now pointing fingers at her from something she didn't do.
There is this account on Mystable with the name Anon-A-Miss, that has been spreading secrets about people at the school, specifically the students. Sunset was quick to blame. Everyone pointed their fingers at her, and whispered at her. Her friends had at first, been supportive and showed that they didn't believe she did it. Then... that day came, they, like everyone else in Sunset's life, left her and believed she did it. Sunset was without a doubt incredibly hurt and betrayed. She didn't know what to do or say. They told her terrible things.
"We trusted you Sunset!"
You.. You secret stealer!
Your not our friend!
"I'm sorry, but you did this to us. Tell whatever secrets you want, but we don't have to listen."
Sunset had been let down by many ponies and people in her life, but her very own friends was something she couldn't handle. She felt as though, she had been stabbed several times. She finally lost it. She finally lost the one thing that kept her rage in place. Well, if they are willing to leave her just like that, then what does she have to lose? Nothing...
Sunset picked herself up and slowly, and shakily, opened her locker. She saw all of her photos she had of her friends, and felt pain in her stomach. She felt rage, sadness, and confusion. After everything she did for them, didn't it matter or prove that she had changed? Apparently not.
Sunset looked at her backpack and allowed her own body to pick everything from her locker and put it in her bag. She didn't know if she would continue going to school, but if it means getting an education then perhaps yes she would. She was only gonna study, and take her mind of what happened. Her friends would come around wouldn't they? Hopefully they would.
Sunset sighed, and headed to Home Economics. She shared this class with Applejack, and felt dread in her stomach. She entered the classroom and saw that Applejack was sitting in the very back of the class glaring at Sunset hatefully. Sunset took a seat in the middle at the front of the class. The other students were glaring at Sunset, and looked at her threateningly. Sunset didn't feel any emotion. It was like she just shut of from everything around her. The teacher came in, and she started the class. She gave Sunset an angry stare and went on with the class.
When the class was over, Sunset felt someone grab her and pull her up against the wall. Sunset saw that it was Gilda, and she couldn't do anything other than smile an hateful smile. Some students nearby looked a bit surprised, and stepped back. NEVER get in the way of an angry Sunset Shimmer. They have seen how she is when she is angry, and did not want to see how she was when she is hateful.
Gilda being the fucking idiot she is, saw this as mockery and punched Sunset in the face, breaking her nose. Sunset then to everyone's shock, laughed as if it was the funnies thing in the world. Gilda felt angry, but now, even she was feeling frightened. The other students started walking away, and Gilda she turned around and walked away looking confused by the turn of events. The only one's who remained was Snips and Snails. They looked at Sunset in concern which made her look at them twice.
"What do you two want? Here to punch me?" Sunset asked, making Snips and Snails shake their heads. They were expecting this kind of response from Sunset, so they bowed down in respect and looked up. They don't believe for a second that Sunset is doing it. The idiot doing it is without a doubt, an amateur.
"No, we wanted to say that we believe you. You are not this sloppy. Your way to smart for that. This is an amateur job. They don't know what they're doing clearly." Snips said, making Sunset look at him surprised. She had forgotten that Snips could sometimes be quite smart when he wanted to. She did enjoy helping them with homework and what not.
"Thank you. Well, don't you guys have classes to attend to?" Sunset asked, making them shake their heads.
"Not for another ten minutes. If you want, we can hang around the abandoned corridor. We know for a fact that no one is ever there. Then again, it is a creepy corridor." Snails said, making the other two nod in agreement. The corridor was always empty, and no one hung around there at all. Sunset, Snips, and Snails would be there all the time. In fact, students always wondered where they have been to. It was funny, they weren't even trying to hide either.
"Yes, we can. So, what have you two been up to?" Sunset asked, as the three old friends walked together down the corridors where students gave them hateful stares. The duo shrugged a little.
"A little hanging around here and there, and doing our homework. We missed you actually." Snips said, making Sunset stop in her tracks. She looked at them shocked. They missed her? But she had been horrible to them!
"Why? I was awful to you two." Sunset said, making the two smile. If she is willing to say that, then it was clear that she has without a doubt changed. They continued walking, and Snails decided to answer her.
"That may be true, but you have changed from your old ways. Then again, I wouldn't blame you for going 'dark' because of everything that has been going on for the last few days." Snpis said, making Snails nod and Sunset go into her own little world of thoughts. They reached their hang-out spot and started to share stories about their life on what has been going on. Sunset did the same and could tell that they were angry for what happened to her and her ex-friends. Sunset smiled a little when they told her that they still had blackmail material if she needed it.
The bell rang, and they groaned together. Sunset walked with them, and hurried to her next class which was gym. It was also her final lesson, so she didn't have to be more tortured then she already was. Sunset walked away when Snips and Snails turned a corner and gave them a wave which they happily returned. Sunset walked down the corridors that started becoming empty of people in the hallways, and that made Sunset relax a little. She didn't want to deal with more other idiots then she had to. What she hadn't noticed was that there was a tiny bit of black smoke fixing her broken nose.
She reached the female changing room, and entered. The room had several lockers, a shower area and some benches. Luckily, there was only two other girls in the room. One girl with seaweed green hair and light green skin. The second girl was... Rainbow Dash. Sunset went immediately for her locker pretending that she hadn't seen either girl. It didn't work. She felt pain on her right side and fell to the ground. She looked up and saw Rainbow Dash in a grey t-shirt and dark blue shorts. She looked down at Sunset hatefully. Sunset looked at her with disdain, which made Rainbow Dash kick her in the face. Sunset was lucky enough to dodge.
Sunset from bellow Rainbow Dash, grabbed her legs lifted her. Rainbow fell down backwards hitting her head on the floor, but Sunset was lucky because the traitor of a girl was still up. Sunset looked at Rainbow with malice. She got up and kicked Rainbow over, and over again. Sunset did this for two minutes having completely forgotten about the other girl. Sunset enjoyed kicking Rainbow Dash, and it showed. She let out an sadistic glee, which made the other unknown girl in the room shiver.
Sunset went to her gym locker and pulled everything out. If she was gonna be attacked like that then it was probably for the best that she didn't come to school at all. She walked around the corridors and eventually found the principles office. She knocked on the door, and was greeted with a 'come in.' Sunset opened and closed the door. Inkwell looked up and grunted inside when she saw Sunset. "Here to see the principle?" She asked, hoping to get the girl out of her sight.
"Yes mam." Sunset responded, with respect to the other woman. Inkwell just nodded and told her to go through the door to the right. Sunset did so, and was greeted with principle Celestia looking at Sunset with questioning eyes. Sunset stod until she was given a greeting to sit down which came, and Sunset did so.
"Sunset, why are you posting these secrets online?" Celestia asked, making Sunset look at her as if she had lost it. Her principle couldn't seriously think she has anything to do with it, does she? Apparently she did. Sunset sighed.
"I'm not even gonna dignify that with a response. I want to drop out of school." Sunset said, making Celestia look at Sunset in shock. She wanted to drop out? She had heard that Sunset already had trouble finding a job because she didn't have legitimate evidence that she existed. The principle had hoped that if, when Sunset is looking for a job she had a higher chance at getting one.
"Sunset i-" Celestia started, but was cut of by Sunset who looked at the principle with malice. She believes she is Anon-A-Miss and doesn't want Sunset to drop out? Why? So she can get beaten up by other students?
"No principle, this is my decision. You even believe that I'm Anon-A-Miss, which i don't know if I should laugh at or cry at. I was recently attacked by one of my ex-friends and I'm not in the mood right now to bicker. Either you do as I asked, and help me drop out of school, or you do your fucking job, and try to find Anon-A-Miss." Sunset said, making Celestia stare at the firery haird girl in shock. Sunset never ever swore! At all. The other students even said that, no matter how angry she got, she never swore. Celestia understood that Sunset must then have lost her patience. Celestia now realized that Sunset couldn't have done it. How she knows, is what Celestia is unsure herself about.
"Okay Sunset, I'll sign the papers. Promise me to take care of yourself." Celestia said, looking at the girl in front of her. Sunset looked at Celestia and grunted out a response. Celestia seemed happy with that, and signed a few papers. Sunset left without saying goodbye and headed for the exit.
Sunset had packed everything out, and didn't worry about taking any possessions she had, because she had none. Even if she did, it was most likely from her ex-friends. She wanted nothing to do with them at all, and she would intend to keep it that way. She walked out of the school, and left without looking behind her. She would miss the school, but she wouldn't miss the students or teachers in it. For an outsider, that probably sounds depressing, but for Sunset it sounds like reality.
Sunset walked through the snowy paths of the sidewalk back to her place. She lived in a small apartment that was quite cozy sometimes. She had never told her ex-friends about it, because she knew if she had, they would use that against her. She walked down the paths that lead to her apartment, and saw some of the pedestrians walking by, and how they looked at their family and friends. friends. The one thing she had always been longing for, and now it was completely gone. Sunset sighed, and walked to her apartment.
When she reached her apartment, she noticed that there was a car there. On the outside was a small parking lot, but there was a BMW with black metal around it. There wasn't anybody inside of the vehicle. Sunset just ignored it and continued walking up a flight of stairs to her apartments. She lived in a relatively quiet area, and wasn't worried much about thugs or anything as they were almost never in the area. Sunset got her key and unlocked her door. She swung it opened and stepped inside. She closed the door, and locked it. She looked around her apartment and saw her small living room. She had a living room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom.
She walked over to her couch and lay down, and was thinking about her life. Where had everything gone so horribly wrong? Where had this Anon-A-Miss come from? Sunset had no idea. She in all honesty, didn't not care. Anon-A-Miss is nothing more than a whore who destroyed Sunset's life. She had nothing to lose now. No friends, family, school, no one holding her back. Sunset smiled a wicked smile. She had nothing to lose. Well, this would be fun indeed.
Sunset woke up the next day, and jolted out of the sofa. She then remembered where she was, and what had happened. She calmed down, but still felt rage and panic. Sunset got out of her sofa, and walked in to her kitchen. She pulled out her cereal, and poured down some milk. She was to tired to do anything else. She sat down on one her sofa and turned on the TV.
She didn't own a lot of things, but the TV was one of her more "prideful" possessions. She didn't use it overly much, but she sure did watch if she was really bored. They did have some fun shows, but humans mostly seems to be into violence. Sunset for some odd reason grinned at that.
"How fun isn't that? Violence and hatred, the best fucking combination." Sunset said, out loud to herself. She didn't know why she was saying these things but she sure liked being this free. Sunset ate her cereal while watching some show called; NCIS. It was a pretty good show. Sunset watched as the characters rushed into a building and killed a few guys. Sunset snorted. The villains clearly can't use their weapons, no wonder they don't get anything done.
Sunset heard a buzzing noise and checked her phone. Sunset sighed an angry sigh. It was from Rainbow Crash. Sunset unlocked her phone, and read the message.
Rainbow: "How could you do this to us you bitch!? I will kill you!"
Sunset snorted. She? Kill her? Not bloody likely. Sunset smiled, and decided to play with her, and not respond at all. It worked. Rainbow didn't send more messages, and Sunset smiled in victory. She still got hateful messages, but Sunset blocked the ones threatening her. Sunset laughed out loud at the thought. Did Rainbow have the guts to kill her? All of a sudden, Sunset was hit with a wave of sadness. She cried a little, and thought about what her friends have said to her.
"What in the name of Tartarus should i do?" Sunset said, out loud. Like she had expected, no one responded. In reality, she didn't want an answer either. She liked saying things out loud so she can hear her own thoughts. She honestly hoped that she could one day move past this hatred she feels and sadness, but she knew the answer to that. She most likely wouldn't move past it, then again, she have tendency to keep a hold of the past.
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA."
Sunset thought she heard a faint laugh for a second. Sunset shook of the thought. She had more important things to take care of. Sunset all of a sudden got a phone call. Sunset checked the number and saw that it was an unknown number. She decided to sound pissed.
"The fuck you want?" Sunset asked, and she heard a cackle on the other end. Sunset was confused but didn't say anything. She in all honesty, was to tired to give a flying fuck about anything like that. The voice on the other end sounded quite amused in all honesty.
"My my, you sound so angry then i last remember. What happened?" Adagio asked, on the other end. Sunset knew it was Adagio, she only needed a voice and she would recognize the person. Especially villains. Well, she is a villain herself, so she shouldn't say anything bad about villains.
"What do you want? I'm kind of fucking busy." Sunset said, feeling her blood boiling. She didn't realize that Adagio's sisters were listening in. They looked at each other shocked. They knew that Sunset had anger but not this type of anger. Aria looked a little nerved by what she heard Sunset say. Sunset was seething, and it was heard.
"How did you find my number anyways? And for the love of Tartarus don't play games on me. I'm not in the mood." Sunset said, making the sisters flinch by the tone of her voice. Adagio calmed herself a little, and told her;
"We found them on contact numbers on different small apartments guide. You came up as a tour guide." Adagio said, with honesty in her voice. Sunset relaxed a little, since it wasn't their fault. They simply called a number and wasn't expecting her. For all they knew she in their eyes could have been this worlds Sunset.
"Fine, are you looking for an apartment in the gangster area of town? I can work with that. Want my address?" Sunset asked, in a haze. She had to much going on to deal with them right now. The sisters on the other end looked at each other. They could hear the anger, and in all honesty, they wondered what has angered this girl to the point were they could taste her hatred.
"Sure, where do you want to meet us?" Sonata asked, kindly. It only made Sunset more angry. They didn't know that though, since they only heard her breathing.
"I'll text you the address." Sunset said, with malice, and hung up. She felt rage. For a few months she was living normal, and happy. Now, she is angry at people for simply calling her. She didn't know what to do with all her pent up rage. Normally she would go to the gym, but now, she s stuck in that situation that someone maybe recognizes her. She sighed. She had no idea where she should start improving. Especially for herself.
In another part of Canterlot in a small café, sat three girls looking at one phone of their older sister. The oldest of the group had brilliant raspberry, her skin was pale apple green. Her hair was luminous vivid orange with brilliant yellow streaks. Her hair was bushy, and made her look quite attractive. The second girl had moderate mulberry eyes. Her hair was in two pony tails and moderate purple with light brilliant aquamarine streaks. The last girl had moderate raspberry eyes. Her mane was light arctic blue with moderate persian blue stripes. Their names were Adagio Dazzle, Aria Blaze, and Sonata Dusk respectively and they are sisters.
They looked at each other, and had the same question in their head; 'What happened to Sunset Shimmer?' They may have dislike her, and wanted revenge, but when Sunset came at them like that with no mercy in her words, it made them wonder what happened to the girl. Aria may be a hot head, but by the sound of Sunset Shimmer, even she would be cautious of her as to not anger her more than she already was.
Adagio could be manipulative, but she could hear that Sunset wouldn't give her any information as to why Sunset is the way she is today. Then again, who would trust the ones who manipulated a whole school? Adagio frowned. What happened to that girl? She used to have a lot of good energy, now, she is a fraction of who she ones was.
"What happened to her Dagi?" Sonata asked, quietly. She was the one who was okay with everyone. Sunset was interesting to her, and only bullied her when her sisters did it. She was hoping that Sunset wasn't going through something terrible. Adagio couldn't answer, she really couldn't. She had heard the stories about how Sunset ruled the school with an iron hand, and was blackmailing students. If this was the 'old' Sunset, then she hated to think how she is if she even can go worse then she apparently already is.
"I don't know Sonata. I really don't. Whatever it is, I hope she is alright." Adagio said, looking to be lost in thought. Aria was also lost in thoughts thinking about the possibilities of what might have happened. Adagio did the same, and the ideas she had was worse then the last one.
The phone vibrate around the small circular table. They looked at the message and it read;
Unknown number; Sugarcube Corner ally. You better be there. The sirens sighed. At least they got an address. Aria was confused. Why didn't bacon girl send a day and time? Aria looked at Adagio questionably. Adagio looked at her confused, then realized what she was meaning.
"She wants to meet us now." Adagio said, making Aria nod in understanding. They got up from their table and left. They walked around the city of Canterlot trying to find Sugarcube Corner. Sonata was quiet which frightened both sisters. Sonata is almost never quiet. Adagio would never admit it, but she kind of liked the bickering. It meant that nothing was wrong, but now, it was clear that something was very wrong.
"Sonata, your a little quiet over there. Is everything alright?" Adagio asked, looking in her direction. Sonata looked up and saw the worried faces of Adagio and Aria. She sighed sadly. She didn't want to worry her sisters, but it was clear that she couldn't hide it from them.
"I'm just worried about Sun-shim." Sonata said, making them first look at her weirdly, then have a look of recognition. They nodded in understanding and kept walking. They reached Sugarcube Corner. They looked around both ally's, but wasn't sure which to take, but then they heard music...

Aria recognized it because she heard it before. It was from a Swedish rapper named Éinar, and his music is pretty good in her opinion. They walked towards the sound. Sonata walked carefully, while Aria was ready for any fight. Adagio was prepared herself, but she dearly hoped it was Sunset and not someone else.
They reached a small clearing. Well, as clear as an ally can become. There were some garbage bins and filth everywhere. They saw... Sunset? She was wearing a grey hoodie with sport clothing together with sport shoes. She was drinking some alcohol and blasting music from her phone. The sirens were shocked. 'What in the name of the Gods had happened to her?' Were the same line of thought that was going through their heads. They walked cautiously towards Sunset who had noticed them and was grinning like a mad woman.
"You came." She said, with fake cheer. Then she sneered at them. This greatly surprised them. It was as if she didn't know what to feel. Then again, she was currently talking to three sirens who controlled the school. "I was wondering when you'd show up. Now, how big do you want the apartment to be?"
Adagio was the one who answered, although, not about the apartment. "Sunset what happened to you? Why are you like this?" Adagio asked, Sunset who just raised her brow at them. The sisters frowned. They were hoping to see what happened to Sunset, but apparently they weren't the right people.
"Doesn't matter. Now, how. Big. Do. You. Want. The . Apartment. To. Be?" Sunset said, through gritted teeth. Aria was the one who flinched by her tone. Usually she can handle it without problem, but this, this was something else. Adagio took a step back, and Sonata hid behind Adagio and Aria. Sunset chuckled at their gobsmacked faces. She was in all honesty tired, but time was money.
"We want a large apartment or house." Adagio said, sighting in defeat. She hadn't given up, but she sure as Hell was gonna make Sunset change, even if Sunset doesn't want the help. Sunset nodded and pulled out her phone and texted a few companies she helped. She doesn't really have a real job, but she does however help other people with finding their apartments and houses. She doesn't really work for a specific company either. Wherever she is needed, that is who she helps. She does get payed from it also, but again, it isn't really her official job since she doesn't have one.
While Sunset was texting different companies about any large houses or apartments, the Dazzlings were looking at Sunset oddly, and cautiously. Sunset was aware of this and started grinning again. Aria felt provocted, but didn't say anything. Adagio was trying to read Sunset's expression, but she couldn't. Sonata wanted to hug Sunset but wasn't sure if Sun-shim would accept it or not. Sunset then put her phone back in her pocked, still blasting music.
"You'll get a response in a few days. Now, want to annoy me more?" Sunset asked, making the sirens look at Sunset defeated. They weren't getting anything out of her. They knew it. Sonata walked towards Sunset and hugged her. To everyone's surprise, Sunset slowly, hugged back. This greatly surprised the three sisters including Sonata. Sunset then slowly pulled away, and looked at them with an unreadable expression.
"See ya around." Sunset said, and walked away from the three sirens in the opposite direction of the ally. Music blasting. Adagio then shouted at her;
"WAIT!" Adagio shouted, making Sunset turn around. There was something going on between them. Adagio was trying to read Sunset, while Sunset tried doing the same thing with Adagio. "Where are you going?"
Adagio had no idea why she asked that, but she did. Her sisters looked at her cunfusedly, but she ignored them. This was important. She had to know where Sunset was going. Sunset let out a menacing cackle, which made the three sirens shiver a little. Sunset looked at them again with disdain.
"Does it matter? Well, I you have to know, I'm going home. Not worth sticking around here while you came for what you wanted. Besides, I got more important things to do than look like a fucking slut!" Sunset shouted, the last part making the sirens widen their eyes. Adagio had been called worse in her life, but she still felt hurt. Adagio had no idea why it hurt her. She did in all honesty not care what people called her. But this time. This was different. Sunset seemed to realize what she had said, and looked at the sirens. She looked like she tried to say something but ran way.
"Sunset!" Sonata shouted after Sunset, but she was already to far gone. The others looked at each other and sighed sadly. They knew that it was impossible now to go after her. She was to far gone, and Sunset was experienced with getting away from trouble.
They walked out thensame way Sunset ran from, and made sure to still keep their eyes peeled if they saw Sunset. Adagio wasn't sure what had been going on, but she sure as Hell was gonna find out.
Sunset was running at a speed she thought she couldn't possibly reach. She had been running away from the sirens and was running towards her apartment, which she reached a few minutes ago. She opened and closed the door quickly. She was breathing heavily, and felt like she reached a new running record.
She didn't mean to sound that hateful towards them, but it still came out like that. She could see that she had hurt Adagio. Shs didn't mean to hurt her, it just came out. The ones asking for what was going on was pushed away, because she said something hurtful.
"Why do I always keep pushing everyone away without meaning to?" Sunset asked, herself. She hoped that she could one day find the answer, but she knew that it would take a very long time for that to come to her. She simply had to wait and see what answer came to her. "like the other times."
Sunset walked to her couch and lay down. She didn't know what to do, but she did have to do one thing. Earn quick and easy money. She needed the money. She then realized that she could do something that wasn't legal at all. Crime. She could sell drugs or something, and earn some easy money that way. Then again. She could also be doing her worst mistake by doing so. She pulled out her computer that were on her small coffee table, and opened it up. She went to Google and searched up Tor. She made some clicks here and there, and she was in. Luckily, she wasn't into the very deep black market. She didn't want to get to deep. She simply wanted access to the drugs and weapons. She immediately started to search for weapons. She found a glock 17 for simply six thousand. It was a lot. Although, it looked to be the most cheapest. Sunset sighed, and decided to order one. She put in an extra fifty so it would be delivered to her. She had at least twelve thousand dollars she had saved for her few years helping different apartment slash house companies. She started to look for drug sites. She needed to start selling to earn real fucking money.
Sunset found one site that seemed to be specifically for drugs. Sunset smiled a little, and started looking to see what they had. She found some meth and steroids worth at least two thousand dollars. Sunset smiled a little. She had lost eight thousand, but could potentially earn more if she is lucky. She ordered it for two thousand fifty so she could get it delivered also. She then closed her computer after exiting the black market.
She looked into nothingness and sighed to herself. She didn't expect herself to stoop to this level. Then again, she didn't expect to be betrayed either. She then heard her phone ringing. She saw that someone was calling her. It was an unknown number. Sunset knew it was the sirens. Sunset picked up and answered with;
"Hello?"
"Sunset, are you doing anything? If not, would you like to come with me and my sisters to a karaoke bar? We sing there sometimes, and drink. Interested?" Adagio asked, making Sunset widen her eyes in surprise. She didn't expect that. She looked over at her clock and saw it was 19:00. She smiled to herself. What could it possibly hurt?
"Sure, I have nothing better to do anyways. I might have to leave early because I have ordered some stuff and I'm not sure how quick they are with services." Sunset said, making the Dazzlings look at each other in surprise. They were surprised that she decided to come at all, but were surprised by what she had just said. They didn't know she had a credit card.
"I didn't know you had a credit card. Concerning where we technically come from." Adagio said, making Sunset smile a little. Oh, she had not used a credit card. She was gonna pay in cash. She decided to hint that to Adagio.
"Oh, I didn't use a credit card. I'll be paying in cash." Sunset said, and she could practically taste the tension between her and her sisters. Aria looked at her sister and realized what Sunset maybe had done. Sonata was clueless and perhaps that was for the best as the thing Adagio and Aria suspected her of doing can be seen as hard-core crime. "I know what you might be thinking, and yes, I did resort to crime. Besides, I don't technically exist in this world. I'm just a girl that have some anger issues."
Aria would have snorted at that, but she was afraid if she did that, then bacon girl wouldn't come. Adagio also gave Aria a warning glance, so that would be counted aswell. Sonata didn't know if she agreed with some anger issues, because she seemed to be a walking demon for a split second when she looked rageful. Adagio didn't know whether to humor the girl or not. She decided against it. She didn't exactly want Sunset to be angry at her then she appeared to already be. What she may have done is what is what makes her confused. Then again, she already seemed angry at something. So it probably wasn't related to her and her sisters.
"Sunset, do you even want to come? You don't have to if you don't want to." Adagio said, making her sister's look at her surprised. They had decided to take Sunset out to the karaoke bar to see if she would reveal anything while drunk. Then again, it seemed like Sunset was angry. Anger and alcohol is not a good combination...
Sunset rolled her eyes. She was expecting this question to be brought up. Then again, she would have lied if she said that she doesn't sound irritated or angry. "Yes, Dazzle, I'm very sure. I need to do something. Besides, I need to get drunk so your master plan can be a success and get your information." Sunset said, making the Dazzlings on the other side freeze. Adagio was quiet, and slowly started to grin. Aria looked amazed by Sunset's knowledge. Sonata had widened eyes. No one had ever figured out before the plan happened! Especially with Adagio!
"How did you figure it out?" Adagio asked, grinning from ear to ear. She was amazed. No creature had ever been able to outsmart her. Sunset though, didn't see the big deal in it. Aria was still looking at the phone, and saw the name Sunset Shimmer on it. She wished she knew how to do that to her sister. Then again, anger can sometimes make you realize things quicker than normal people can. Sunset smirked to herself. She may not see the big deal in it, but if Adagio is asking how she outsmarted her, then it must be big.
"Well, karaoke places usually have a bar to drink at. It was quite easy really. Then again, it must be the first time someone outsmarted you by the sound of your voice." Sunset said, smirking into the phone. Now, Adagio's grin was wider if It was even possible. This girl is good. Aria looked down at the phone in disbelief. Easy? Her sister is anything but easy. Then again, Sunset seems to be more angry than she should possibly be. She might be thinking more different then she usually does. Sonata looked at the phone with interest. She then decided to speak to Sunset.
"Hello Sun-shim!! I heard that you were coming to the karaoke bar with us!" Sonata said, making Sunset chuckle unto the phone. Aria and Adagio looked at Sonata questionably. Sonata just grinned while her sisters just shrugged.
"I would expect that. I mean your right beside Adagio and Aria." Sunset said, as if it was casual thing to say. Aria now looked around them they wee at a burger joint, and there was them the staff and some other people their enjoying their meal. There was no one that was even remotely close to bacon girl. Adagio was very close to just cackle, but refrained from doing so. Sonata looked like Sunset had guessed right in a guessing game.
"My my Sunset, you have my admiration. Where are you exactly?" Adagio asked, sounding genuinely impressed. Sunset just smirked on the other end. The Dazzlings could just see it in front of them.
"Believe it or not, but I'm at my apartment. I had a feeling that if you called, one of the others would be nearby. Its all a guessing game, and I got it right." Sunset said, making the Dazzlings show genuine interest in her knowledge.
"Well, the karaoke bar is called; Storm Kings Karaoke. I guess we'll see you there?" Adagio said, but it sounded more like a question. Sunset simply hung up, and put her phone in her pocket. She got up, and walked towards her bedroom. She reached her small bedroom that consisted of a bed, a bedside table, a body mirror, and a brown wooden wardrobe. Sunset opened the wardrobe and looked inside. She had some good clothing, and she knew that she needed something more; partyish. She looked for a small dress that wasn't really revealing, but still something that would surprise the Dazzlings. She found one, and took of her clothes she was currently wearing that looked more like gangster wear.
The dress she put on, was midnight blue, and it had some golden stars on her shoulders. The dress was just bellow her rump, but it could definitively be seen as revealing. She made her hair, flow flatly over her shoulders. She smiled at herself in the mirror. All she needed now, was some high heel shoes. Luckily, she had midnight blue ones also. She took them out, and dusted them of from the dust they had been collecting over the months or year she had them. She put them on, and she felt like she was taller. She could definitely see more from her hight.
She smiled. She was gonna have a good night and party with her new friends. Wait... friends? She didn't know about that, but they sure acted like friends to her, so maybe.... maybe.
The karaoke bar was quite popular, but that was something Sunset expected. She was waiting to be let in. The line she had been waiting on hadn't been that long. Just a around maybe ten people. Sunset was then let inside by a muscular guard that intimidated her a bit. Then again, they were doing their job.
Sunset was amazed by the karaoke bar. There was a large bar, and a stage where there was currently some girls singing some horrible garbage. Can't even sing properly. Sunset then felt a tapping on her shoulder, and looked to see Adagio with her sisters. They were smirking at her, but still looked surprised that she came.
"You came." Adagio said, loud enough for Sunset to hear. Sunset smirked and nodded to her. Aria and Sonata blinked. They were expecting her to make a remark but apparently they didn't. They wore the same outfits they wore for The Battle Of The Bands. Sunset just grinned at them.
"What? Can't a girl party? Besides, you invited me here so you can get your information." Sunset said, as if it was no bid deal. The Dazzlings just stared at her, and grinned. She was acting way more like them, then she did before they met her. Then again, she might not be holding back her true desires either which she perhaps had to do before in order to not be judged.
"So, I'm gonna get myself a drink, want anything?" Sunset asked, and Aria nodded.
"I'll come with you, Adagio I'll get your usual and same goes for you Sonata." Aria said, walking towards the bar with Sunset. The bartender was a mare who had white skin, sapphire blue eyes, and red main. She was wearing a traditional bartender suit, and looked up at Sunset and Aria with a smile.
"What can I get you two?" She asked, and the two Equestrians smiled.
"I'll take an Jameson whiskey. My older sister wanted the fruit drink the one that tastes like creme. And my younger sister want the raspberry gin." Aria said, making the bartender pull out glasses and pour in the drinks.
"I'll take a Scottish whiskey, you can surprise me." Sunset said, and the bartender nodded. She pulled out a fourth glass, and poured some old looking whiskey. She put it on the tray for them. She then put the bill on.
"You can place the money here when your finished." She said, and the two nodded in understanding. Aria took the tray and walked back with the tray to an table the other two sat at. Sunset sat down beside Sonata who was pointing to herself. Sunset was looking down at her whiskey, and chuckled a little. The other three looked at her curiously. She flashed them a smile.
"I didn't expect to be betrayed, become a small gangster, get a call from you, and now be at an karaoke bar. A lot of shit has happened to me today." Sunset said, and the other three stared at her wide eyes. Betrayed? 'Sunset, what on earth has been going on?'adagio thought to herself.
"Well, I should start from the beginning..." Sunset said, and started telling them everything about what had happened that day. The sleep overs she had for those two nights, the Mystable account, why she became so frustrated with every single thing she heard or saw. When she finished her tale, Sonata was openly crying, but it was silenced by the music in the bar. She was clinging on to Sunset who looked lost on what to do. Adagio and Aria looked ready to murder someone. Sure, they may have disliked Sunset, but because of what happened today, they feel different about her.
"Sunset, why were you angry at us? Or was it simply frustrations?" Aria asked, making Adagio look at her as if she was completely stupid. "What?"
"Aria, she is betrayed by her friends, obviously she will be emotional. You have anger issues yourself, you should be the one to relate to her." Adagio said, making Aria blush a little but his it quite well. Sonata was hugging Sunset for dear life, and to the older sisters surprise, Sunset looked like she enjoyed the comfort. They smiled a little. Sonata could be good for therapy.
"I'm sorry you had to go through all that! I promise you, you won't see their ugly faces again!" Sonata said, making Sunset let out a hearty chuckle. She didn't know that Sonata could be like this, but she is The friendliest siren there is. Sunset returned the hug and buried her face in her shoulder. Adagio and Aria smirked a little. They then heard quiet sobs, and lost their smirks immediately. They thought that Sunset was falling for dear old Sonata. Not that they would mind really, Sunset deserved happiness.
"There there, its okay those cowards won't hurt you now." Sonata said, making Aria drop her jaw. Sonata could be mean and even cruel when she wanted to, but she sounded flat out evil when she said that. Adagio looked proud at Sonata. Sunset continued crying into her shoulder. She then looked up at her new found friends. She smiled a little at them. They smiled back and partied a little with each other.
The night was young, and Sunset was having a great time. Sne was partying and made friends with the sirens which made her laugh inside her head. After a few hours they planned on leaving the karaoke bar together. They stood outside and talked for a little.
"Thanks for coming Sunset. I didn't actually believe you would come, but I wanted you to know that the door was always open for you." Adagio said, giving Sunset a friendly smile. Sunset smiled back a pleasant smile, and not a menacing smile.
"Well, thank you for inviting me." Sunset said, smiling at them. They smiled in return and waved at her and walked away. She waved back and started walking towards her apartment.
The walk was long and cold, but it felt amazing to Sunset. She had made three friends she least expected to make, and she had fun at karaoke bar. Celestia knows she needed that. She needed the partying. She really needed to drink the alcohol she did. She felt though, that someone was watching her during her stay at the party. She just shrugged it of as someone looking at her from a distance in a hormonal way. She had been expecting that anyways. Sunset now, felt that very same feeling of being watched. She stopped under a lamp that was shining orange light on her. There was some buildings nearby, but there was a forest-like are nearby. Sunset looked all around her, but didn't see anyone. She still felt like someone was watching her intently.
"Who's there!?" Sunset shouted out to the darkness that was surrounding her like walls trapping a mouse. She heard a cackle, and something landed in front of her. Sunset looked at the creature and only saw some grey and white shining eyes. Sunset fell on her rump and started pushing herself away from the creature who was only looking at her with interest.
"Where are you going? Your apartment is the other way." The creature said, making Sunset stare at it with disbelief. She didn't know how to respond, so she refrained from saying anything.
"Sorry that I scared you..." The creature said, in a tone that Sunset couldn't make out what it was.
"What are you doing here?" Sunset asked, making the creature look at her. He looked at her with curiosity. Sunset wondered what it was doings. Perhaps studying her. She had no idea what it was truly doing so she decided to say it was studying her.
"Me? Oh, well, I felt the hatred of some creature, so I decided to investigate. It turned out to be you. I'm also here to offer you a deal. I can help you get revenge on your ex-friends. All you need to do is accept my offer." The creature said, making Sunset look at him with suspicion.
"And what does this deal 'include' because it sounds like you are planning something." Sunset said, making the creature laugh a hearty laugh. At least Sunset hoped so...
"The only thing that really 'includes' in my offer is me sharing your body. You'll be in full control, but you will be able to transform into any creature you desire." The creature said, knowing he was tempting Sunset to good now. Sunset was lost in her thoughts and finally looked up at the creature. There was absolutely no one watching them, and the buildings looked as big and powerful as ever.
"Yes, I take your offer. My name is Sunset Shimmer." Sunset said, shaking hand with a black hoof.
The creature seemed to give her a smile. "Hello Sunset Shimmer, my name is The Pony Of Shadows." Shadow Pony said.
