Soarin's Shadowbolt Initiation
Soarin had finally had enough.
Despite being a senior member of the illustrious Wonderbolts for many years now, Soarin still felt like his teammates treated him like a newbie fresh out of Flight School. When there was a task or job too miserable for the other Wonderbolt to do, who did they look to? Who was constantly left out of the loop when it came to gatherings or public events, only learning about it after the fact? And who had been so easily abandoned and replaced after he had hurt his wing during the preliminaries for the Equestrian Games?
Him, it was always him. That last one had been the final straw that broke the camel’s back, so once his wing was healed up once more, he decided it was time for him to see if the grass really was greener on the other side and defect from the Wonderbolts for another team entirely.
A team like the Shadowbolts for instance, which was why he was currently standing right outside their Cloudsdale recruitment office.
The Shadowbolts were still a relatively new team, formed only in the last year or so with Princess Luna’s backing. Not much was known about the team due to their relatively secretive nature outside of the fact that their members were a mix of bat ponies and regular Pegasi, and that all of them were just as elite flyers as any Wonderbolt recruit. Surely they would welcome a seasoned flyer like him with open wings, right?

“I must say I was a little shocked when you first walked in here, Soarin,” remarked a dark navy coated bat pony mare in full Shadowbolt uniform from behind the recruitment desk. “I mean, a well known Wonderbolt like yourself wanting to defect to our group so willingly? Forgive me if I don’t find that just a little bit suspicious…”
“I know how this must look, miss…” Soarin paused to read the name placard on the mare’s desk. “Miss Ebony Dusk, but I promise you that I’m done with the Wonderbolts. They had their chance to treat me well and they wasted it by treating me like dirt.”
“Really?” Ebony Dusk said with a raised brow. “Well, allow me to be the first to inform you that here in the Shadowbolts we treat all of our members like family. No matter your rank, all are treated with the respect that they deserve.”
“Which is exactly what I’m looking for.” Soaring replied with a smile. “Where do I sign up?”
“Hmmm… “ Ebony Dusk tapped her hoof against her desk for a moment, deep in thought. “I’ll be honest, there’s still a part of me that suspects you’re only here to try and steal our secrets for the Wonderbolts, but I can tell that at the same time you’re genuine about wanting to join our ranks. With that being said, I have a little proposition for you, if you’d be willing to hear me out.”
“I’m listening.”
“Very well. If you’re up for it, I can induct you into our ranks as soon as tomorrow, but you will need to undergo a little… “initiation” first before we officially accept you into the Shadowbolts.”
“I–Initiation?” Soarin muttered with a hint of fear in his voice. “Like… like hazing?”
“Oh no, nothing so barbaric as that! Just a little trust exercise to prove to everypony that you really mean it when you say you want to defect to the Shadowbolts.”
“Oh…” Soaring replied with relief. He had already had to undergo one round of hazing in order to join the Wonderbolts, and one time was already one too many. “Can I ask what kind of exercise you had in mind?”
“It’s mostly having you fitted for your uniform, which are all custom made and very expensive. If you do decide that the Shadowbolts aren’t for you, then you will be liable to reimburse us in full for the bits used to design your uniform. We’ll also require you to sign a binding legal agreement saying that if you do reveal our secrets to anyone, then you will be liable to face severe legal trouble. Does this sound reasonable to you?”
Soarin nodded his head, understanding where they were coming from. Once it became public that he had decided to join the Shadowbolts, he was sure that he would no doubt face some kind of repercussions from his former team. But Soarin had made up his mind already, far too jaded with his previous treatment to care. “Where do I sign?”
“Right here,” Ebony said as she slid a form across her desk towards Soarin. “Take all the time you need to look it over.”
Soarin did just that, carefully reading through the form just be sure he wasn’t agreeing to anything that he would regret in the future. He was surprised to find none of that as he read over the form from top to bottom, finding that it said pretty much everything Ebony Dusk had explained to him already. After reading through it a second time to make sure he hadn’t missed anything, he happily signed his name on the dotted line.
“Well now, that was fast,” Ebony Dusk said with a smile. “Now, today we’ll simply be taking your measurements for your uniform, and we’ll contact you in a few days when it’s complete. Then we can proceed with your initiation in full, and if you pass, then you’ll be official inducted into the ranks of the Shadowbolts. Also, just to let you know, from here on out you will address me as ‘Captain Ebony Dusk', understand?”
Soarin saluted, though he couldn’t keep the joyous grin off his face. “Understood, Captain!”
“My, my, somepony certainly sounds eager…” Slipping the signed form into a drawer of her desk, Ebony Dusk stood up and walked around her desk, gesturing for Soarin to follow as she lead him through a door into the back of the complex. “As I said, we’ll just be taking your measurements for today, so I hope you don’t mind a little poking and prodding.”
Soarin was only partially listening, his attention seemingly drawn by the swaying of the Ebony’s hips as she walked. Normally Soarin was never one to stare at a mare’s behind, but he couldn’t help but notice just how skintight her uniform looked, hugging every curve of her body perfectly. Although… the area around her flanks seemed a little… bigger, like the uniform had some kind of extra padding around the–
“Well, here we are.”
Soarin snapped to attention, a blush colouring his cheeks as he hoped and prayed to Celestia that Ebony hadn’t caught him staring so openly at her behind. Luckily the mare still had her back to him, so he appeared to be in the clear for now.
As Ebony pushed a door open, she called out, “Oh Monsieur! We’ve got a fresh recruit for ya!”
“Oh? How marvellous!” As the pair stepped into the room, they both watched as a pegasus stallion with a mint green coat and a styled orange mane practically pranced around the room until he was standing before them, eying Soarin up and down like one might eye a tasty carrot. “My, my! What a fine specimen you’ve brought me today, Captain! I can’t wait to see how he looks in one of my uniforms!”
“Down boy, he’s not a full fledged recruit just yet. He still has to go through initiation first.”
A look of understanding flashed across the pegasus’s face. “Ah, I see. How foolish of me! Today we are merely taking measurements, Oui?”
“Oui.”
“Excellent!” Without another word, the stallion proceeded to drag Soarin to the middle of the room and onto a stand in the middle of the room. “Now! You stand right there and I will return in but a momento!” The stallion said as he rushed over to a desk and began to rummage around inside.
Ebony tittered as she turned to leave, adding over her shoulder, “Try and keep from breaking this one like last time, ok, Monsieur?” before closing the door behind her and leaving Soarin to his fate.
Once he had retrieved a measuring tape, the pegasus stallion rushed back over to Soarin and began to take his measurements as Soarin tried to stay as still as possible while the other stallion got a bit too close for comfort. “So… uh… Monsieur–“
“Oh, do call me Stratus! Altostratus’s the name. ‘Monsieur’ is but an affectionate nickname my teammates like to use.”
“Nicknames, huh?” Soarin remarked, remembering the nickname he’d been given while in the Wonderbolts, the far less enduring nickname of “Clipper”.
“Oui. Tis not unusual for a Wonderbolt like yourself, no?”
“Yeah, we– wait, you know who I am?” Soarin asked with genuine surprise.
“But of course! Who doesn’t know the famous Wonderbolt Soarin? I am most surprised to see you here of all places. Wanting to test that old saying, ‘the grass is always greener’, yes?”
“A bit… Hey… any chance you could clue me in on what this ‘initiation’ will be like?”
Stratus looked aghast, shaking his head fiercely. “Oh, no no no! Tis a closely guarded Shadowbolt secret, and I will not be the one to spoil the surprise!”
“Yeah, figured as much.”
“All I will say is that every Shadowbolt went through it when they joined up, even moi and the Captain. Tis but a means to gauge your willingness to join our team that has proven effective again and again. Now hold still so I may prepare to craft a uniform to fit your marvellous physique!”
Soarin chuckled nervously as the stallion approached him with an almost predatory glint in his eyes. “Uh… Captain? A little help? Please?” But his pleas fell on deaf ears as he was left to the stallion’s mercy for the next hour.
Soarin's Shadowbolt Initiation
“Are we there yet?”
“Not much longer now…”
It had been several days since Soarin had walked into the Shadowbolt’s Recruitment Centre and been measured for his new uniform. When he had received the letter informing him that his uniform had been completed and that he was to report to the centre at sundown, Soarin was equal parts excited and nervous. This would be the final step towards defecting from the Wonderbolts into the Shadowbolts, but Soarin still had no idea what this “initiation” would entail. He had been reassured that it wouldn’t involve any actual hazing, but that still left his imagination to run wild at what it could be.
His worries had only intensified when he had arrived at the centre to find Captain Ebony Dusk already waiting for him and he had been immediately handed a blindfold and told to put it on. Despite his apprehension, he had done as instructed. Once he had tied on the blindfold, Caption Ebony wasted little time in guiding him through the building. Soarin tried his best to make a mental map of each turn and hallway they walked through, but that plan quickly fizzled out as the Captain seemed to be purposely confusing him by leading him though one hallway after another.
Unable to know where he was being taken, Soarin’s growing fears began to cause his imagination to run wild. He had heard the rumours and stories that the Shadowbolts were all secretly vampire ponies, so could it be that he was being lead to a secret location to be fed upon by a coven of such ponies? Was this “initiation” really just a ruse to turn him into one of their kind and curse him with an unquenchable bloodlust and a fear of the sun?
“We’re here,” Captain Ebony suddenly said as she untied Soarin’s blindfold and yanked it off him, his eyes momentarily blinded by the sudden light shining in his eyes.
Blinking the spots from his vision, the first thing Soarin saw was the line of almost a dozen Pegasi standing before him, all of them dressed in the Shadowbolt uniform and all of them focusing their attention onto him. Glancing around the room, he saw that he was in a large training room, not unlike the one the Wonderbolt’s used. All of the training equipment had been moved aside, leaving ample room for whatever was about to transpire.
“Attention!” Captain Ebony barked, startling Soaring a little as the line of Shadowbolts all stomped their hooves in practiced unison as they stood in proper formation before their captain. “Allow me to introduce to you all our newest Shadowbolt hopeful, Soarin of the fabled Wonderbolts. Despite the illustrious reputation give to our fellow flight team, Soarin has chosen to defect to our team instead, and we have gathered here tonight to deem if he is worthy of joining us. You all underwent the same initiation Soarin is about to experience, so I expect you all to show him the same respect that you were all shown. Understand?”
“Yes, Ma’am!” They all replied in unison as they saluted the captain.
“Very well then. Monsier, you’re up.”
As Captain Ebony stepped aside, Stratus walked in from the side of the room, also in his uniform and carrying a box on his back.
“Prepare yourself, mon ami, for you are about to experience comfort like you have never before! Behold!” With a flourish, Stratus set the box down in front of Soarin and popped off the lid, revealing the carefully folded Shadowbolt uniform nestled inside.
As Soarin reached for the uniform, however, his hoof was batted aside by Status. “No, no, no! Not just yet! Captain, if you please.”
Captain Ebony was smiling as she approached Soarin. “Now, from this moment forward your initiation will begin and you will be subject to the will of the Shadowbolts. We swear on the Princesses that we will not harm you in anyway, and that you can refuse to continue at any point from here out. However, know that if you do, then you will be disqualified from joining the Shadowbolts, as per the agreement you signed. Knowing this, do you still wish to continue?”
Soarin looked back and forth from the Captain to the folded uniform at his hooves. He wasn’t quite as sire as he had been the day he walked into the Recruitment Centre, especially now that he was being presented with this unknown ultimatum. Still, Soaring had come this far, might as well keep going.
“Let’s do this.” Soarin replied with a confident grin.
“Good answer,” Captain Ebony said as she clapped her hooves together. “Shadowbolts, you know what to do.”
Stepping out of formation, the Shadowbolts scattered across the room, seemingly preparing everything for Soarin. Two of the Pegasi approached Soarin and removed the uniform from the box, holding it out to him and gesturing that they would be helping him put it on.
With nothing else to do, Soarin let himself be dressed into his new uniform. The first thing he noticed was how stretchy the uniform was, seemingly designed out of an almost rubber material. The second thing he noticed was how absolutely skintight the uniform was as it was put on him, the rubbery material seemingly clinging to his every curve. He could be forgiven for thinking he was almost wearing nothing at all.
The third thing he noticed as the uniform was pulled over his flank and tail, feeling a strange cushiony feeling pressing against his rear and crotch. He recalled seeing some extra padding when he had been… following behind Captain Ebony before, and yet the presence of the strange padding mystified him. “What’s with the padding around the back?”
“Oh, that’s just the diaper,” Stratus replied matter-of-factly.
“A-a diaper?!” Soarin balked, his face turning redder than a tomato.
Stratus let out a hearty laugh at Soarin’s expense. “Fear not, that is simply what we Shadowbolts have come to call it. It is merely to keep us from damaging our most sensitive of areas during flight. All our uniforms have it too.” As if to prove his point, Stratus turned around and gave his plot a wiggle, allowing Soarin to see that indeed his suit had padding in all the same areas. “It also has a very special feature included…”
“Wait, what fea—Mpph!” Soarin was muffled for a moment as the mask of his uniform was pulled over his face, the final thing as he was now properly dressed into his new uniform. As the two Pegasi who had helped get him dressed walked away, one of them paused a moment to slap Soarin in the rear with their wing. Though the padding did soften the blow a little, Soarin still let out a yelp at the spank, the guilty pegasus doing their best to suppress a giggle as they walked off.
“My, my, you certainly wear that uniform like a champ,” Captain Ebony remarked as she eyed up and down Soarin, her grin turning slightly predatory as she locked eyes with him. “Now that you’re properly dressed, the real fun can begin…”
Before Soarin could inquire about what she meant, his back legs were yanked out from under him by two of the other Shadowbolts and placed in harnesses that had been attached to the ceiling. With his rear now prominently raised into the air for all to see, Soarin could just barely see a pair of Shadowbolts carrying a large hose until the disappeared behind him. Before he could turn his head to see what they intended to do, he felt the nozzle of the hose being shoved against his padded rump. “Wha-What is this?!”
“Oh, you’ll learn soon another…” Captain Ebony said as she glanced at a nearby Shadowbolt. “Start the pump.”
The only warning Soarin had was the faint sound of a fan starting up as the hose began to force hot air into his uniform, causing the padding in the rear to rapidly expand outward like a balloon. Soarin was unable to suppress a moaned gasp as the padding seemed to force itself into his most sensitive bits, his front legs collapsing out from under him as the inflating diaper pushed his back legs apart slightly as it expanded. After what felt like forever, the pump was briefly stopped as Captain Ebony sauntered up to him.
“How does it feel?” She asked, walking behind Soarin and pressing her hoof into the padding around his crotch. Soarin could only moan again as he felt his stallionhood faintly pulse within the inflated padding, the feeling of the thick padding actually managing to excite him.
“I thought so,” Captain Ebony said as she gestured to the pegasus manning the pump to keep going.
Once more the pump began to force hot air into Soarin’s uniform, causing the padding to swell more and more and only growing his excitement. After no time at all, Soarin’s rear had been inflated to the size of a beach ball before the pump was shut off once more. By this point Soarin was openly panting, his excitement building more and more with each passing second as the padding enveloped his member fully, causing his growing erection to pulse more and more.
“Now why should you have all the fun?” Captain Ebony remarked, briefly cutting through the haze slowly clouding Soarin’s senses as she loudly announced, “Everypony, join in!”
With an uproarious cry, the other Shadowbolts all jumped into action, pulling out smaller, portable pumps that they used to insert into the waiting nozzle installed in the back of their uniforms. The sound of multiple pumps turning on was soon muffled by the series of moans coming from every pony in the room as the padding hugging their rear ends were also inflated to enormous sizes.
Then the humping began. Some chose to press their padded rears and crotches against another, grinding them together as they moaned in pleasure, while others chose to instead lay atop one another with their muzzle pressed deeply into the padding of one pegasus while their rear rested comfortably on the face of another. It wasn’t long before the entire room was filled with the moans of pleasure coming from everypony present.
As Captain Ebony had a hose inserted into the back of her own suit, she made sure to stand so Soarin could get a perfect view of her rear as it expanded rapidly. Once it was as large, of not larger than his own, she shut off the pump and began to waddle around Soarin until she was directly behind him, plopping herself onto her rear like it was a large beanbag as she forced one hoof into the crotch of her own padding while pressing another into Soarin’s.
Intense pleasure like nothing Soarin had ever felt shot through his whole body as Captain Ebony massaged her hoof into his crotch, making extra sure to press against his still throbbing erection.

Soarin had lost himself to the sheer pleasure of the moment, his body begging for release as he felt himself inch closer and closer to the edge. Then, with a loud cry, Soarin finally spurted a huge load into his suit, the tight uniform serving to press the juices against his fur as a constant reminder of what he had just done. This only proved to excite Soarin even further, especially when he heard Captain Ebony loudly cum into her own suit, followed by one Shadowbolt after another letting out loud cries of ecstasy of their own.

Captain Ebony was the first to recover enough to announce, “Showers, everypony!”
As the other Shadowbolts slowly began to pick themselves and slowly walk towards the showers to get cleaned off before dropping their uniforms off to be cleaned as well, Captain Ebony trotted up to Soarin and helped him onto his hooves. “So, recruit… how did you like your initiation into our ranks?”
Despite the exhaustion racking his body, Soarin was able to reply, “A…Amazing…”
“Thought so. There’ll be plenty more nights like this as long as your a Shadowbolt. Now let’s get you all cleaned up. Tomorrow you’ll be allowed to rest, but I want you at the training grounds first thing in the morning for proper training, understand?”
Soarin nodded as he began to walk alongside Captain Ebony towards the showers. It was official, he was a Shadowbolt now, and if that meant more nights like the one he had just experienced, you could see himself staying with them for a very long time…
