Chapter 1: A Deal is a Deal

This book is gonna be a short one, around three to five chapters, the sequels will be the same.
Chapter 1: A Deal is a Deal
------New York City, Earth, A Random Corner, 11:30 P.M------
A man around his 30 dragged a corpse of a 19 year-old girl down the sewer, from the blood that came out between her legs, clearly she was raped. And that man was a rapist, a tough criminal; escaped polices more than ten times, and every time he kills, no trail would be left. However, this man's luck is out, because tonight is when he'll pay for his actions.
Closing the sewer cap, the man let put a relaxed sigh, pulling his pants up, he put on his hoodie and prepared to clean the mess.
For a split second the man thought he was been watched, but shrugged it off at the thought of police.
However, this feeling of being watched did not go away, instead it became clearer and clearer. Until finally, the rapist could hear someone breathing on his neck. he grabbed his knife, swiftly turned, and stabbed whoever's behind him. But his jaw dropped, all it was behind him... Air?
"Maybe I'm just too nervous..." the man mumbled to himself, but when he turned back, he shit his pants.
There's a man standing there staring right at his eyes. To be specific, it wasn't a man. More like a skeleton in cloth on fire. Blue fire.
The man immediately remembered from the news, "Johnny Blaze!" he shouted before turning and run for his life. Unfortunately for him, his left leg was wrapped in burning chains and pulled backward, making his fell flat on is face.
A skeleton hand grabbed the man on his shoulder and lifted high up as if he was weighless. Now the man could see his attacker closely, however, it was far different from what was reported. First of all, he has a pair of skeleton wings, and instead of a pair of holes without eyes in it, it was two blue orbs. And not to mention his blue flames.
"W-Who a-are you?" the man whimpered, "You're not him!"
"I. Am. Your. Punishment." was all the rider said before he slammed the man against the wall, "Your hands are stained with the blood of the innocent, look into my eyes, feel their pain."
The man screamed as memories of those who he raped and killed flashed in his eyes, now his body erupted in flames, his dark soul was slowly absorbed by the rider. Lastly, the man's eyes were left as a pair of dark orbs. And his body was burned to crisp.
Finishing another dark soul, Zarathos transformed back into his human form and looked upward at the sky, hoping that the Lord could call him in again. But nothing happened.
"Still not happy old man?" he sighed.
Zarathos, after Johnny Blaze and him defeated the devil, he was freed from the corruption of hell. But his sin of being tricked by the devil remains, which made him still a fallen angel. Heaven is not a place for him, not yet.
So after he departed with Johnny, whom he made a deal with to have a peaceful and normal life. Zarathos have to continue to harvest evils souls and protect the innocent until he earn Lord's trust again. At least that's what he thought.
The truth is far more than that.
After three months, Zarathos had finally wiped out all the dark souls in New York, no new dark ones emerge, cuz the report is far too terrifying for any criminals to do anything. Zarathos sighed, he's gonna need a new host again for further plans. But there's less dealers than before, fuck you Johnny.
Suddenly, he heard something from his mind, sounded like screams of pain and shouts of pure rage. A new dealer? He thought, but from what he sensed, the source of the voices isn't anywhere on Earth. Welp, time for another trip through dimensions. Zarathos transformed back to his spirit form and too out his chains. He began to swirl the chain in the air until it formed a burning portal. He stepped right in.
------Ponyville, Outskirt of Canterlot City, near the Friendship High, 9:30 P.M------
Gallus was pinned down against the wall, tied by two gang members. H watched helplessly as the other gang members approached his special somegriff with smug grins on their faces.
"FUCK! TOUCH HER I SWEAR I'LL BREAK YOUR NECK!" he shouted, but it's no use.
"Relax buddy," the gang leader said with a shit-eating grin, "we won't kill her, we'll just have some fun." The he began to untie his pants.
"SHIT! SHIT! SHIT! FUCK OFF!" Gallsu felt his heart was being stabbed as he watched in horror at his girlfriend getting pinned on the ground, trying and screaming.
"Herher, nice ass you got there..." the gang leader smirked as he swiped the hippogriff's butt, Silverstream bit his finger, making him grunt in pain, "Being a bitch huh?" he slapped her across her face, knocking her out. Then he took out his manhood and prepared to have his fun.
Gallus couldn't bear to see his loved one getting raped in front of his eyes, he bit the gang members' arms making them recoil in pain. He broke out of their grip and charged at the leader. However, his eyes widened when the leader took out a gun.
BANG!
Gallus felt the world began to go dark as a massive amount of blood poured out of his chest. He fell on his knees, then his body. He slowly crawled towards his girlfriend, his talons reaching for her, but his breathing got slower and slower. Before he had his last breath, rage and anger stormed his mind. One word before his death.
Vengeance.
However, in the endless dark, Gallus heard a voice, sounded around his 20s, but a wise tone.
Do you want a second chance? To start over?
"Huh? Who... Who said that?" Gallus grunted, trying to get up but couldn't. He began to panic.
Relax my host, you're currently dead, I saved your soul in time before you slips away, the mysterious voice said, now tell me, do you want a second chance?
"A second chance for what?" Gallus asked.
You saw your loved one getting killed, while you can do nothing, don'y you feel ashamed? The voice said, using an enchanting tone, you want them to pay? You want revenge? Do you?
"Uh... Yeah?" Gallus said, confused.
Good, let's make a deal, the voice said, in relief, you have to let me borrow your body, don't worry I won't corrupt you; just live in you. In return I'll grant you the spirit of justice and vengeance. You'll turn into the spirit at the sight of guilty people, and hunt down those who deserved to be punished, the dark souls.
"And... what's the side-effect?" Gallus asked, a bit uncertain about this deal.
The side-effect can be small, you'll have to sold one-third of your soul to me, but it won't kill you; just some headaches, the voice said, so... Deal?
Gallus thought about it, "... Deal," he said confidently, "anything for my girl."
Suddenly, he felt something Squished its way into his body, then pain erupted. He screamed as the world began to light up.
Gallus opened his eyes, and gasped loudly for air. He got up and checked his body, surprised when he found no wound. He slowly got up, "Uh... Mr. Mysterious Voice? You there?" he asked.
"HOW?! HOW ARE YOU STILL ALIVE?" The gang leader's jaw dropped. He clearly remembered showing the griffon square in the chest, he should've bed to death at this point. Luckily for Gallus, he hasn't take Silverstream's virginity yet. However, she's awake to see the rest.
"Never mind that," he growled before cocking his gun and pointed at Gallus, "I'll do it again."
"GALLUS!" Silverstream cried.
BANG!
To both of their surprise and shock, the bullet just flew right through him as if he's made out of air. Gallus found his right talon began to steam. Then boiling heat came over. Gallus grunted as his face began to steam too. Then the steam became hisses of small burns. The Griffon screamed out in pain us the fire began to spread through him like vines. Then the scream turned to a crazy laughter. His voice got deeper and devious, his skin began to burn away, revealing his burning bones. Blue flames erupted from his wrist and nick. Lastly, his left with a burning skull and skeleton hands. He looked up straight into the eyes of the gang leader, which he found pure fear. Silverstream is shaking uncontrollably, still taking in the fact that her boyfriend just turned into a monster.
The Skull figure cocked his head to the left, then right, making chilling bone cracking, then he twisted his wrist. He pointed his boney finger right at the gang members, who's shaking in fear.
"You. Guilty." it said in a deep yet terrifying voice.
Then he unleashed a blue gulf of fire ball at the gang member, burning him to crisp in less than a second. The figure roared while pulling out a burning chain from nowhere and swiped at the remaining gang members, during them to ashes as well. Then he turned to the trembling gang leader, he teleported right in front of the leader, scaring the living shit outta him.
"P-please," he whimpered, "H-have m-mercy."
"Sorry, all out of mercy." the figure said while shaking his head, then he lunged forward and slammed the leader against the wall, "Your hands are stained with the blood of the innocents, look int my eyes, feel their pain."
"No... no, no, no, NOOO!" the gang leader screamed as his eyes were on fire, memories of the innocent girls and their boyfriends killed by him corrupted his mind. Their souls screamed in pain and agony, slowly eating away the leader's dark soul. Lastly, the leader's eyes were left to be a pair of dark orbs with flickers of flames in them. After eating his soul, the figure dropped the gang leader's corpse.
He then turned to Silverstream, who's shaking in fear, "Please, don't hurt me..." she whimpered.
Gallus, she's all yours. The voice said as it loosen the control on Gallus, turning him back to his regular form again.
"Silver, it's me," he said softly as he hugged his girlfriend in a tight embrace, "everything is fine now, babe."
"Wha... that monster... how?" Silverstream asked, but shushed gently by her boyfriend.
"There, there, I'll explain everything to you later." He said.
"Gallus... Don't do that ever again... I don't wanna lose you..." Silverstream cried softly on his shoulder. Gallus tightened the embrace, "You won't lose me, pinkie promise."
Pinkie promise? The voice asked.
Gallus ignored the voice and picked up his girlfriend wedding style and walked bak to their house, God, what a night... he thought.
I wouldn't say that of I were you. The voice rang in his head again.
What's your problem? Gallus said mentally, which got no reply from the mysterious voice. He shrugged it off and hope for tomorrow for the best.
Unnoticed by them, a pair of red devilous eyes is observing them from the distant.
I found you Zarathos, he said, just you wait....
