Princess Cadance has a wonderful life. She has a loving husband, a beautiful daughter, a loving family and friends, and an empire that looks at her with admiration and respect. She should be happy, but she isn’t.

Little does anypony know that her path to the throne was wrought with sacrifice for the sake of Equestria. She had thought she could withstand the trials of this responsibility, but one action has haunted her since the day she was instructed by Celestia herself to utter the words she wished she could take back the moment they left her lips, “It’s over.”
