King Sombra returns, and this time the crystal heart isn't enough to keep him at bay. Princess Celestia enlists the help of the Main 6 as King Sombra sounds the drums of war. However, while on their way through harsh winter snow, they encounter a unicorn trapped in crystal. A whole new light is shone on the crystal empire's past.
