Prologue

I arrived into the new world on my motorcycle. I put my goggles onto my forehead and looked around. Only to find something very troubling.

This place is full of Pokémon and anthro ponies. I look around more and see that I appeared to be in Ryme city. if I'm remembering the detective pikachu movie correctly, yet the only difference seems to be the ponies, and a few other sentient creatures from Equestria like minotaurs, changelings, dragons, yaks, hippogryphs, griffins, and who knows what else is here.

I kept my hood over my head as I looked around."Excuse me, sir this is a public place for pedestrian use only, please move the bike" said a pony wearing a Ryme city police badge. I put my goggles down and looked at him. "Oh, sorry officer, first time in the city" I said hopping off my triumph tiger 800 XCx and walking it away. I got my bike onto the street, got on and rode off.

As I was riding around I noticed that not one pony was using magic.

"That's odd" I said to myself. I stopped at a stoplight and waited. I saw hundreds of Pokémon everywhere I looked. I saw the light turn green and rode off. I rode for a few blocks then decided to pull over.

I turned off the engine and hopped off. I leaned against my bike and took out my phone. I checked the maps, then I realized something about where I was. I put my phone away and pulled down my left sleeve so I could check my gauntlet. I used the maps application to find a decent hotel, it was a few minutes away. I got back on my bike and rode to the hotel.

I walked in after parking my bike and activated the anti-theft protocols linked to my gauntlet. I went and checked in at the front desk and payed by using my gauntlet to transfer funds into an account so I'd be able to purchase things. I got out a credit card and used it. The card was accepted and I got my key. I made my way to my room and unlocked the door.

I took all my gear off and took a shower and came out wearing my pajamas. I got on the bed and turned on the free cable tv.

"Ok, since I'm in a world with ponies and Pokémon, I'm going to need a Pokémon partner in order to blend in" I said to myself. I stroked my chin in thought. Then it hit me. "Mewtwo" I said with my signature sharp toothed cheshire grin.

"Scientists made one Mewtwo, but if they are dumb enough to make one, they must have also had an extra or two" I said to myself. I checked the web for any abandoned Pokémon experimentation sites. There were multiple. I looked into each one and found nothing. Until one caught my eye. "This looks promising" I said looking at the lab. Then I saw that it was in Kanto. "Ok first thing tomorrow morning, after breakfast, I'm off to Kanto" I said to myself. I got ready for bed and went to sleep.

---The Next Day---

"Have a nice trip sir, I hope you have good luck" said the pony at the front desk. "Well thanks, I'm probably going to need it" I said waving goodbye. I went over to my bike and disengaged the anti-theft protocols. I got on and rode off, following my gauntlet's map.

---Later---

It didn't take me long before I got to Kanto. However as soon as I arrived, I realized something very important. "I need some pokeballs" I said feeling like a jackass. I walked around town and found a Pokémon center.

I walked in and was greeted with a few odd looks. I ignored them and walked up to the front desk. Then I looked who was running the Pokémon center. It was a anthropomorphic ponyfied Nurse Joy. "Welcome to the Pokémon center, how can I help you?" She asked. "I'm gonna looking for Pokémon and I don't know where to get pokeballs, can you direct me to where I can get some?" I asked. "Well I have a few you can have, here" she said giving me a few pokeballs. "Thanks, when I catch my Pokémon I'll be sure to bring them here if they get hurt" I said. I put away the pokeballs in one of my belt pockets, so I'd have an infinite supply. I left a few dollars on the counter but Nurse Joy stopped me. "No need for that, think of them as a gift" She said. "Sweet, Thanks, Bye" I said waving as I walked out.

I got on my bike and rode towards the woods. As soon as I got 40 feet in, I stopped and turned off my bike and got off. I snapped my fingers and made a tent appear. I set up a spot for a fire and set up a fence around the perimeter of my camp.

As soon as I was satisfied, I magicked up a basket so I could gather some berries. I found a few berry bushes and trees nearby and gathered them all up. I got back to my camp and put the basket of berries in the tent under a towel. I set up an inflatable mattress, and left the tent. I looked at my camp.
+BASE CAMP ACQUIRED

"What? Where did that come from?" I said. I looked at my gauntlet, it was showing what I just heard. "Huh" I said. I opened up the maps and put in the coordinates of the lab. I began my trek through the forest. "This is the best day ever!" I said with excitement.

---Five Hours Later---

"Ugh, where is that lab, my map says I'm right on top of it, but I don't see it anywheeeeeeeeerrrrrrreeeeeeeeee!" I said as the ground gave way and I fell a few 30 feet. I landed with a loud thud.

"Ow" I groaned. I slowly got up and dusted myself off. I brought out a small portable lantern. I looked around.

I found the lab.
