(Not) Making Amends
Load Full StoryThe bell chimed, school with Miss Cherilee was over for another day. The sound of happy foals charging out into the bright sunshine, thankful for the free time filled the air. There was a slight ‘Harrumph’ though that permeated the happy mood from Applebloom, as her, Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle left another day of mean comments, pranks and generally bullying.
‘Ah’m getting real sick of those two.’ Applebloom pouted. ‘This is the third time this week I’m gonna have to take a bath once ah get home, I managed to get most of the glue out…’
‘You were lucky to get it out! I still have some stuck on me…’ Sweetie replied, pointing to a patch of white in her multicoloured mane. Scootaloo just frowned, although Miss Cherilee had tried her best she was still somewhat sticky too. Of course Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon had gotten a scolding for their prank, but it didn’t help the trio get over it. They were almost on the verge of being used to this sort of thing what with the amount of tricks they got played on them. As the three were trotting home, a voice yelled from behind them back at the school house.
‘Hey, wait up you three!’ the voice of Diamond Tiara came cutting through their air to their ears. Each sighed and turned.
‘What do you want.’ Applebloom said rather flatly. None of them were much in the mood to hear them out, or maybe even fall victim to more jokes.
‘Oh come now Applebloom, you’re not still upset are you?’ Silver Spoon sneered, appeared from behind Diamond and gave a smirk that suggested she was trying to goad her into a rude response.
‘Well, yeah! Y'all somehow managed to cover us in glue! That wasn’t very nice!’ Applebloom said.
‘I’m going to have to cut my mane to get this out…’ Sweetie Belle said with a little sob in her voice.
‘Yeah you guys are mean, why’d you do it?’ Scootaloo asked.
There was a moment of silence from Diamond and Silver who looked at each other and nodded. ‘Yeah, we’ve been thinking about that. We’re super sorry. It’s not cool to play pranks and we’ve been feeling bad about it all day.’ Diamond said. ‘We wanted to make up.’
‘You didn’t seem to feel so bad laughing at us earlier when it happened…’ Sweetie started to say, who was nudged by Applebloom to stop talking.
‘Give us a minute.’ Applebloom said, turning away and taking her friends with her.
‘You think it’s genuine?’ she asked.
‘Well we can test it, why not invite them to our sleepover at the clubhouse tomorrow? If it’s genuine we’ll have fun. Also there’s nopony else there so what would be the point of playing tricks if nopony is gonna laugh at us?’ Scootaloo said. ‘They never really do it for their own benefit, only when we are in class. Otherwise they’re just mean.’
‘I guess...it can’t hurt to try?’ Sweetie said, still sounding dubious.
‘Alright. Worth a shot.’ Applebloom decided. She turned back to the pair and decided to make the offer. ‘We’ll accept your apology, we’re having a sleepover at the clubhouse tomorrow. Wanna come?’
‘Oh that would be fun! Can we Diamond?’ Silver Spoon asked.
‘Yeah! That way we can really get to know our new friends! See you three tomorrow!’ Diamond replied, the two laughing as they left.
‘I don’t like that laugh…’ Scootaloo said.
‘Oh come on y’all, they always do that.’ Applebloom said dismissing it. Maybe they could at least try to make amends tomorrow.

‘We’re here, and we brought goodies!’ Diamond Tiara announced. Her and Silver Spoon had arrived later to the clubhouse than anticipated. ‘Sorry we took so long, I had to find enough help to get it all over here.’
‘What on Equestria are you…’ Sweetie Belle started to say, but then she saw what Diamond meant. Four ponies hauled small carts up the stairs, unloading a huge mountain of sweets into a corner of the room where there was space. The three stood silent and totally wide eyed at the amount of food being brought in.
‘Where did you get all this!?’ Applebloom asked, astounded.
‘Sugarcube Corner! Only the most tastiest bakery in all of Ponyville! When I explained to Pinkie Pie these were make up sweets, she kinda went overboard.’ Diamond replied with a smile. ‘And I think you three should get first dibs.’ she said. The helper ponies left, leaving the five of them alone.
‘Oh uh, are ya sure? I don’t wanna make a pig ah’ myself.’ Applebloom said.
‘We insist, this is a small way to make up for all our mean pranks over the years.’ Silver Spoon said, looking at the pile. ‘We insist.’
The trio looked at each other, they were quite hungry. Sweets and candy were always good. Applebloom just shrugged and took a morsel. It was a small cupcake that was as all the baking from Sugarcube corner is, extremely tasty. The three dug in, although between bites of food, Applebloom looked over to Diamond and Silver. She was close enough to Sweetie and Scootaloo that she could whisper her concern.
‘They’re just standing there, watching us.’ Applebloom said.
‘So?’ Scootaloo replied.
‘Well, ah’ feel rude eatin’ all this alone!’ she said, turning her head to speak to the pair. ‘This is great you two, join us!’ she offered.
‘Oh no, this treat is all for you! We just feel so bad…’ Diamond said. Applebloom just smiled, turning her head back to the small mountain of candy to keep eating.
‘It’s gonna be rude of us if we don’t finish it.’ she said.
‘Yeah...oh well, maybe we can just spread it evenly between us.’ Sweetie replied.
‘I’m going to get such a tummy ache…’ Scootaloo lamented, but the trio didn’t have much choice. They’d feel bad if they didn’t eat all the candy. Worse, it might upset their new friends who did seem to be trying to be nice to them. Otherwise why bring them all this?
It was hard going trying to wade through a small mountain of highly fattening, excessively sugary treats. The trio were about halfway through and already their bodies were starting to show signs of enlarging. Applebloom definitely felt her sides starting to press up against the other two, being in the middle she was somewhat sandwiched. She looked around, noticing that Diamond and Silver had actually gone to sleep and the night had drawn in.
‘They’re sleeping.’ Applebloom said.
‘Think we can just dump the rest? I’m so full…’ Scootaloo said.
‘We can’t risk them hearin’ us! We gotta eat it girls…’ Applebloom replied.
‘Even if it takes us all night?’ Sweetie Belle asked.
‘Even if it takes us all night.’ Applebloom replied. The trio carried on eating, only half a mountain to go…
-
‘Urgh…’
The sentiment was somewhat unanimous from all three, what had started as a sleepover had turned into an all night eating frenzy as the CMC had worked their way through the massive food mountain. Their bodies had certainly felt the effects, Applebloom was either too tired or too fat now to move, but wiggling her legs barely did anything. Her stomach had formed a rather big, soft bed beneath her. The story was the same with Sweetie and Scootaloo having all eaten an equal amount each.
The trio were gigantic, but it did feel a little pleasant. At least something to cushion the blow of what was about to be revealed once they woke up and took note of what had happened. Applebloom herself was still getting used to this feeling of being so large. She forgot what time she had finally passed out, but she remembered being too stuffed and exhausted to move. As the eating had gone on she had felt her belly bed round out beneath her and push into her legs, meaning they were nicely brushing up against her body. If she had tried to walk, it would mean shuffling herself forward with plenty of effort to try to even get any motion going. Her back legs were slightly rising off the floor too, pushed upwards by stomach searching for space to expand into. She could just about get them to the floor if she used her large, bulbous flanks to lean backwards as a counterweight. Her face was chubbier too, everything just felt larger. This was probably compounded by the fact that when she looked to her left and her right, it seemed that all the candy had had the same effects on her friends, who looked just as bloated and nearly immobile as she was.
The pile of treats got lower and lower, the three starting to become bigger and bigger as they stuffed more of the candy inside them. Applebloom felt herself hit total immobility, her fat pushing out from beneath her as her legs could no longer make contact with the floor, even with a bit of pushing. As they did, she could swear she heard movement behind her.
‘Haha, sleeping! You three are so easy to fool.’ she heard the snide voice of Diamond Tiara say, with a giggle from Silver Spoon.
‘W-Wha? You guys were faking!?’ Scootaloo blurted out, bits of candy flying from her mouth as she too was taken by surprise by the words.
There was the sound of movement behind the trio, with the three hearing the door to the clubhouse open then shut again. If they could turn around to view what Diamond and Tiara had brought in, they would have seen a large box marked ‘Fashion Accessories’, although it contained a bit more than just accessories.
‘Faking a little.’ Silverspoon said, replying to Scootaloo. ‘It was easy enough to get you three to eat all that candy. Now, you’re free for us to do as we wish!’ the pair laughed, getting closer and closer armed with plenty of beauty products. All three of the CMC let out a simultaneous ‘Noooooooooo!’ but there was nothing they could do.

‘I wonder how the girls' sleepover went.’ Applejack thought to herself. She was doing a usual round of the orchard as she often did when it was getting close to harvesting time. Just to make sure the trees and the farm were in order before the real work began. She was close to the clubhouse, she thought it best to go check in on them. When she got close, she noticed it had suddenly, overnight gotten a rather different paint scheme.
The entire clubhouse was now pink, covered in hearts and flowers with a large wooden sign reading ‘Diamond Tiara Fan Club’ nailed up above the door. She would have chuckled to herself, but like the trio she was somewhat sick of Diamond and Silver’s pranks. This just seemed like another. She trotted up the entryway, her eyes not ready for what she was about to see.
‘Oh...my…’
The entire inside had been vandalised in the same manner as the exterior, with a few key differences. She saw that her sister and her two friends were incredibly fat, to the point where the three of them were virtually unable to move. Three porky ponies were stuck, with Applebloom wedged in the middle. She spied a few treats on the floor, what looked like leftovers from an excessive candy binge.
She couldn’t help but smile to herself, but quickly retracted it when Applebloom looked up at her. The three almost resembled copies of Diamond Tiara. They had all had their coats dyed pink, their manes and tails whilst still the same cut as usual were also dyed to match Diamond Tiara’s hair colour. Applejack figured it was a bit too much for the pranksters to actually cut their manes and tails to match. They were all wearing fake (cheap) copies of Diamond Tiara’s signature tiara and the final touch was each had stickers stuck to their large, wobbling flanks with Diamond Tiara’s face on it, acting as fake cutie marks which covered their own ones up. Applejack looked around at the pink carnage that seemed to have been wrought on the clubhouse. She could only think to ask one thing.
‘What in the hayseed happened here?’
Applebloom, noticing for the first time her pink body, size and taking a look around at her friends noticing the same thing just sighed. The trio all responded with the same thing.
‘Don’t ask.’
