Ettins are a strange type of pony. Only found as the Personal Guards of the princesses, very little is known of them. Only that mares are ever seen as one, and that a Pegasus is always one of the two types of ponies.

For the newly crowned Princess Twilight, who has grown up around them her whole life, her new title also means that she too will soon have two looking out for her.

Except nopony told Twilight that the two she would get, were so cute and that it just wasn't fair!
