Something strange is brewing just outside of Ponyville, the Everfree Forest was dark and scary enough before this happened, but now the whole forest appears to be encased in a pink bubble reminiscent of unicorn magic, but not even the alicorn princesses were powerful enough to cast a spell like this. The critters have also been acting strange, very flighty and nervous and overall not themselves.

Princess Celestia sends her faithful student Twilight Sparkle and her friends to investigate after much failed research in the Golden Oak Library. But they encounter a beast ponykind itself has never seen before,- and it’s an even bigger force to be reckoned with than the strange force field.
