Chapters "What a wonderful day" I said stepping into the convention center. I was dressed in my Synth costume and looking around for something to add to it.
My name is John Stein, my Synth character's name is R-E-X, that stands for Robotic-Evolutionary-Xenoform. He's a jet black fairly standard Synth model with a few hidden features.
For example my Synth has compartments in the legs to hide stuff, kind of like Robocop. When running he could reach mach 5, possibly even faster if upgraded and with regular maintenance.
The Synth even had the power of flight thanks to a special pair of black hard-light holographic membranous wings, giving him the appearance to that of a wyvern. In flight, he could reach mach 7.
His claws on both his hands and feet can be sharp enough to cut through anything with ease. they even allowed him to walk on walls.
He also had jaws that could shoot gravity beams like king ghidorah. And the jaws were strong enough to crush or tear anything, especially with sharp teeth that could cut diamonds. He had retractable fangs that could inject or spray anything, from calming scents to toxins, poisons, and even acid. And to make it even better, a forked tongue, and most importantly a boopable snoot.
There were also special cameras in the visor that could see things in multiple spectrums of light.
My character's visor design is the one in the center, top row.
"Hey how much for the pair of darksabers?" I asked. "How much do you have?" Asked the merchant.
"About $200, thats as high as I can go" I said. "Done, have a nice trip" he said giving me the creeps. I gave him the money and took the Darksabers.
I began feeling dizzy. "OH SHIT! The fanfics were true!" I said passing out.
---Later---
I woke up a few minutes later with the worst headache.
-FULL SYSTEM REBOOT COMPLETE- -RUNNING FULL DIAGNOSTICS-
'Oh hell No! Damn it!' I think trying to get up. But I couldn't. My body felt different, I couldn't move.
I just realized what I was.
-DIAGNOSTICS COMPLETE- -MOTOR FUNCTIONS 100%- -CPU FUNCTIONALITY 100%- -POWER LEVELS 100%- -STRENGTH 100%- -SPEED 100%- -AGILITY 100%- -STAMINA 100%- -HUNGER 0%-
"Ok, so let's try moving now" I said, my voice sounding metallic, similar to Soundwave, but more like my own. I lifted one arm and looked at it. My HUD scanned it. It was real, I was really a Synth. I put the arm down and brought my other arm and put it below me. I began to slowly pick myself up. I tried standing but I fell right back on my face, er, visor.
I decided to go into a more feral posture, walking on all fours. I found my Darksabers next to me. I grabbed them and looked for a place to put them. Just then a compartmant in my leg opened up. It took me a while to process.
I placed the sheathed Darksaber into a holder designed for it. I then continued to repeat the same action with my other leg. With both Darksabers put away, I began walking on my hands and feet, and I had no idea where I was going.
I eventually found myself near a castle that looked a lot like the castle of the two sisters, only it looked brand new. I kept going with my little lizard walk, and found I was at the edge of a cliff.
I looked down, it was a big drop. I looked back at the castle and sat down as best I could. It took me 30 minutes to figure it out. I lied myself down and put my head on my arms. I looked at the castle when I heard a loud blast. When I looked I could not believe my optics.
I saw Celestia and Nightmare Moon having a magic dogfight.
-ERROR-
I began sparking, I could not believe what my sensors and optics were showing me.
'Ok, am definitely In Equestria, that means I've arrived back 1,000 years before episode 1. And that just means right now is the battle between Princess Celestia and Nightmare Moon.
I began looking for a way to get across. Then I looked at my talons. I began walking down the cliff. I made it all the way down and saw something interesting 'Oh look thats the cave where the tree of harmony is'.
I crossed the bottom and went up the other side. I kept walking to the castle. I found an open window and crawled in.
I made my way to the room where Celestia would be after she sent Nightmare Moon to... Well the moon. I laid down in a dark corner on the floor. I didn't have to wait long.
---Celestia POV---
'Oh sister, I will miss you' I thought with tears. I heard something move in the corner. I looked over but couldn't see anything. "Who's there?" I said wiping away my tears. "Show yourself!" I said.
"I can't, fear keeps me from doing so" said an odd voice. "Come out there is no need to fear" I said. "Not my fear, you will be afraid" said the voice. "I'm not afraid, please come out, I will not harm you" I said.
"Yes, I promise, now please, come out" I said. Just then two glowing green slitted eyes found their way to mine. But they didn't seem angry, they seemed sad. "Are you sure you want me to come out, just you looking at my eyes frighten you" said the the creature, the eyes looking even sadder.
"I'm sorry, I'm just a little nervous, please come over here" I said. The eyes seemed conflicted. Then they began coming closer. As soon as I saw its head I couldn't believe my eyes, it seemed to be some sort of creature. It kept coming into the light. Now it's full body was out.
The whole creature was jet black. Its head had two horns with blue lights which seemed to be on multiple parts of its body, and its jaws had sharp teeth, it's body definitely seemed reptilian, yet it had no scales. It had sharp claws on each hand and foot. Its tail was long and seemed to be segmented. 'What is this creature' thought Celestia.
"What are you?" I asked.
---POV SWITCH---
"What are you?" asked Celestia.
I took a few minutes before I answered. I looked into her eyes and my HUD told me she was confused and a little scared. I came closer to her slowly. "I am a Synth" I said.
She became more confused. "What is a Synth?" She asked. "A Synth is an artificial life form, in other words a form of android, or robot" I said making her fear turn completely into confusion. "I'm a machine, I'm able to act as a living creature, and have a mind of my own" I said. "A machine? But you look so, so, so" began Celestia. "Different? Complex? Adorable?" I tried to finish.
She began to laugh. "If you want, you can touch me, you won't be disappointed" I said getting close and sitting down. Celestia was nervous, but she began to lift her hoof. She brought it towards my to my left side. As soon as she made contact she was surprised. "You're so soft, and warm!?!" She said. "I'm covered in special plating made to act like real skin" I said. She began moving her hoof to my head. "Why are you so hard?" She asked. "Pft, Hahaha, Why are you so hard?: title of your sex tape, HAHAHA" I laughed. "I don't understand, all I said was your head is hard" said Celestia. "Pft, Hahaha, your head is hard: sequel to your other sex tape, HAHAHAHA! Please stop, your gonna make me short circuit, Hahaha!" I laughed and began rolling around on the ground.
--2 hours Later--
"Hahaha, ha ha, ha, okay I'm glad I got all that out of my system" I said. Celestia was unamused. "Are you finished?" She asked. I looked at her. "Yes, I am, sorry, If you haven't noticed, I'm more like a living thing than a machine" I said. Celestia made her signature motherly smile. "I can see that, you really seem to be alive, yet I don't sense any life force" she said.
"Well technically, I am self aware, and I come from a place where my kind is regarded as a species, not as objects or simple machines" I said. "I don't completely understand, but you seem to be harmless, so I will allow you to live In Equestria as long as you don't harm my little ponies" She said. "I have no interest in causing harm, but if I am attacked I can and will defend myself, but since I am to be living in this world I shall remain in the forest, so ponies will leave me alone, there I will make myself a shelter, and hopefully I can build a generator" I said.
"Very well, you may stay in the Everfree, but why do you need a generator?" She asked. "The original purpose of Synths was to consume power, the world my kind is from, had an energy crisis" I said. "What? Wouldn't an energy crisis be a bad thing?" Asked Celestia.
"No, the crisis was that there was too much energy, and the dominant organic species were sick and weak, so they made Synths, Synths were built to help and serve, they could do any job, heavy lifting, construction, even Doctor or nurse, as soon as the Synths aided the sick, and everything was working smoothly, Synths were regarded as a species, so both kinds could live in peace and harmony, and organic species could even have romantic relationships with Synths, Synths could have children, they could love, they were no different from each other" I said. I sound so much like Twilight right now.
"Wait, Synths can be able to...." began Celestia. "Have sex, yes we are equipped with the special tools" I said becoming uncomfortable. "Now I need a generator, otherwise I will lose power and shut down" I said. "I will see if I can deliver one personally to you In the forest in a few days, I hope you can last until then" said Celestia. I checked my power levels.
-POWER 99%-
"I should be good for a few days, possibly a few weeks, if I can conserve energy" I said.
I began looking around for a good spot to stay. I found a good spot next to a fast river that led to a waterfall. I jumped over the river, and found myself on the other side. I walked towards the edge of the cliff next to the waterfall. I looked down. I turned around and went to the clearing a few feet away. I decided to make a survival bunker. I began digging a large hole in the ground a 8 foot deep 20-20 foot square.
I went over to a tree and brought out a Darksaber from my right compartment. I turned it on and began cutting the tree. It came down in a few seconds. I cut it into planks and made a staircase in the hole. I cut down a few more trees and made a floor at the bottom. I made a few walls with a few more trees. I made a floor above the one below to act as a living room and kitchen and made a few more walls and a roof. I made a table and chairs by using my claws.
I made a coffee table and a bench that would be a placeholder for a couch. I made a few primitive windows and shutters. I walked down into the room below and made a nightstand and a mattress-less bed. As soon as I finished I put away my Darksaber and went out to admire my work.
It wasn't pretty, but it wasn't designed for having good looks. I began covering the whole thing with dirt so it would look like a hill. I gathered a few pinecones and acorns and placed them around the bunker. So after a few years they would hide the bunker from view. I got to work on making a spot for a garden, and when I finished, I went to dig a deep hole a 7 feet from the river it was a small kidney shaped pool 8 feet deep and 30-10 feet across. I dug a trail from the pool to the river. As soon as the path was made water began to fill the pool. I went over to the bend of the pool and began digging a path to the cliff.
Then I broke a small wall so the water would go into the path to the cliff. I went into the river to clean myself off. Then I went into my bunker to wait for Celestia to bring the generator.
---3 Days later---
"Hello Synth, are you there?" I heard Celestia. I got up and walked out to greet her. "I just now. Realized I never gave you my name" I said. "Oh my, um no, you didn't, but I brought you this generator" said Celestia gesturing to the generator she had brought. "My name is R-E-X" i said to her. "It's an acronym for, Robotic Evolutionary Xenoform" I said.
Celestia was starting to stare. I walked towards her and waved a hand in front of her face. "Huh, what?" She said. "Is something wrong?" I asked. "What, no, I'm sorry REX, I've been distant for a while, here is your generator" she said. She used her magic and floated the generator over to me. I was about to hold it but as soon as her magic stopped. I fell over with a yelp.
"Ow, heavy, my body is not built for heavy lifting, it is built for speed and stealth" I said. "Oh I'm sorry, here let me help you" she said lifting the generator with her magic.
"It's alright, I'm also built to adapt, so it might take a while for my body to get a bit stronger, please come in" I said, gesturing inside.
"Of course, thank you" said Celestia. I followed her in and told her where to put the generator. I brought her downstairs and I had her place it next to the nightstand, so I could recharge while I slept. We walked back up the stairs and I offered her a seat in the living room. "I'm sorry It's a bit dull in here, I don't really have anything to make upholstery, so my chairs are a little hard" I said.
"They feel comfortable, where did you get them" complimented Celestia. "I carved them myself, with my claws, it's the best I can do with what I have" I said my eye motifs looking sad and disappointed. "If you'd like I can bring you better furniture" asked Celestia. "That would be nice, I could also use some plumbing, I don't really need to eat, but I am able to, so I need running water, and a few bathrooms, sinks and stuff like that" I said.
We talked for a few hours until it was time for her to go.
"Thanks for bringing the generator, good luck with those nobles" I said waving goodbye. "Thank you, I hope to see you again soon" said Celestia flying off. I watched her go and went back inside. I got to my bed and plugged myself into the generator, turned it on and went to sleep.
--- 992 years later---
-BANG-
"Aaaaah, oof" I shouted as I hit the floor. I got up and ran outside. I looked up at the sky. "So, Rainbow finally did her first sonic Rainboom, and since that was a catalyst for the entire mane six, now I just have to wait a few years until Nightmare Moon returns" I said rubbing my hands together like an evil genius from old cartoons.
I watched the Rainbow go across the sky. "I'm gonna be waiting for a long time" I said. "Whelp, might as well shut myself off for a few years, hopefully by then I can show myself, oh wait I haven't sent out a token yet!" I said.
I pulled out my Darksabers and channeled myself into them. "Whoever finds these simple tools, be they worthy, toss them to the sky, catch them and activate them, so they can call upon me, The next generation in technology, R-E-X!" I said into my Darksabers. I then saw a portal open up and I tossed the Darksabers into it. A few minutes later they came back. I caught them and put them away.
I looked once again at the Rainbow. "I can't wait to meet Twilight" I said walking in. I began my shutdown by writing a note and placing it on my front door for Celestia to find. I then proceeded to lie down on my bed. Once I was lying down I had to decide how long I wanted to sleep.
"Hmmm, what would be a good time to show myself, oh, I know, the day after the poison joke episode! Then they might be a little more accepting of me" I said to myself. I opened my nightstand drawer and took out a few polymers and metals and shoved them into my mouth. I chewed thoroughly and swallowed.
"Might as well have a few upgrades when I wake up, glad I kept those in my drawer for when I need to adapt, now lets see, I'll need to toughen up my plating and skeleton, for more durability, I'll need a few laser weapons in my arms, just cuz it's cool, then I'll need to have more speed and strength, yup that should be about it" I said while creating the plans. I set the upgrades to automatic, and went to sleep.
--- 8 years and several months later.---

"YAAAWN, wooooh, I feel great, time to say howdy to the ponies" I said getting up. I looked at the time. -8:00 A.M.- 'perfect let's roll!' I think to myself. I walked up the stairs and opened the door only to find three little ponies. 'Cutie mark crusaders?' I thought.
They had shocked looks on their faces, and one had a hoof raised, they were about to knock but I opened the door before they could. "You three going to stand out there with the Timberwolves or are you gonna come in and have a seat?" I said looking at them.
I threw my voice behind them and made a Timberwolf howl. "Aaah" they screamed and ran inside. I could only smile. I went to the kitchen and got out a tray and a few glasses. I filled each with water, from the sink. (I got plumbing a few hundred years ago)
I put each cup on the tray and put a straw in each. They were each sitting on the couch, I walked over to the coffee table and placed down the tray. I grabbed my cup and gestured to the tray.
"Hope you like water, it's all I have for guests" I said sitting down. Each pony looked at each other and grabbed a glass. 'How are they able to hold things? Their hooves they should not be able to grab things' I think to myself. I set my eye motifs for the friendliest setting I could.
They each took a sip of the water and calmed down a bit. "Excuse me mister, but who and what are you?" Asked Applebloom. I did my best to smile.
"You're a robot?" Asked Scootaloo. "I'm actually called a Synth, but yes" I said looking at them. "Cool, can you fly and shoot lasers?" Asked Scootaloo excitedly.you know Twilight?" asked Sweetie belle.
I walked behind the couch and gathered each pony close. I put my right hand in front of the four of us. "Alright girls, there is a camera in my hand, so say cheese" I said.
"CHEEEESE" we all said together. The picture came out of my mouth. I gave it to the girls. "This is proof, to show Twilight, when you tell her about me give this picture to her" I said. "Now, who wants to get out of this forest and back to Ponyville?" I asked.
They all raised their hooves. "Ok, lets go" I said while walking outside with the cmc close behind. I gathered them together in front of my bunker. I spread out my arms and allowed my hard-light holographic wings to form. "Wow" they each said.
I began flapping and took off, I grabbed all three of them with my feet and took to the sky. It didn't take long to get to the edge of the Everfree. As soon as we were close to the edge came in for a landing.
I released each girl and landed. "Ok girls hope you can visit me again sometime!" I said as I took off and headed for home.
---CMC POV---
"We have got to tell Twilight right now" said Sweetie belle. "Right" said Applebloom and Scootaloo.
They all made their way to Twilight's library and entered. "Twilight we have something to show you" said Scootaloo.

Chapter 2
I was sitting in my chair, waiting for Twilight to arrive. "She's most likely either gathering her friends, getting a whole forest worth of scrolls, or she just doesn't know where I am, because she might have neglected to ask the CMC for directions" I said aloud.
I waited and waited, but still nothing, I kept waiting, and waiting. Then finally, there was a knock on the door. I got up and walked over to the door.
I looked through the door with my x-ray scanners. It was a unicorn, along with a few other ponies. I opened the door and found Twilight and the rest of the main 6. I made my voice sound as creepy as possible. "Come in, come in, I've been expecting you" I said sending shivers down their spine. I used my normal Synth voice. "Well, come on, I've been waiting a thousand years and a few months for you all, come in, Twilight I just know you wanna use science on me, come on!" I said gesturing inside.
They all remained silent and came in one by one. "I hope I have enough seats" I said. I came in and closed the door, then went into the kitchen and got a few glasses from the cupboard. I filled each with water, and I could hear them whispering amongst themselves, although the way they do it, its just like their normal voices, yet somehow louder.
I got their glasses and put them on the tray and made my way over to them. "I heard you all whispering about me, I have hearing that can pick up a few flies mating a few miles away, however your whispering was a little too loud to be considered whispering" I said. I placed they tray down and gave them each a glass. "I don't get many visitors, so water is all I can offer" I said, making my eye motifs look sad.
"That's quite alright darling, water is fine" said Rarity. I used happy eye motifs so I looked happy. "Thank you Rarity, now Twilight I assume you are here because three certain fillies gave you a photograph?" I said.
"Y-yes, I-we, came here to see if you actually existed" said Twilight. "And? Are you satisfied?" I asked with the best grin I could muster.
"So, you're supposed to be some high tech robot? Please you aren't that cool! " said Rainbow Dash. I looked at her with a neutral expression in my eye motifs. I began taking a few steps backwards. "Um, what are you doing?" asked Rainbow Dash.
"Making sure there's room" I said while spreading my arms. I activated my hard-light holographic wings.
Everypony's eyes grew to the size of dinner plates. "Oh my" said Fluttershy. "Took the words right outta my mouth" said Applejack.
"Oooh you're wings are so pretty and, oooh, their glowing!" said Pinkie getting closer than I would've liked. "They are hard-light holographic wings, they aren't just for show, I can actually use them to fly" I said while flexing the wings a few times.
"Ok, I take it back, you are AWESOME! " exclaimed Rainbow Dash. I deactivated my wings and brought my arms down. "Come outside and you can see something really cool" I said walking out the door.
As soon as Everyone was outside, I went over to a tree and took out my Darksabers. I lit them up and threw my arms apart and began spinning the blades, thanks to
I stopped spinning the blades and sliced at the tree in an x-slice. I then sheathed the blades and put them back in my leg compartments. I waited a few seconds and the tree fell apart and fell away from us.
They all looked at me in awe, especially Rainbow and Twilight. Twilight was beginning to let her geekiness show.
---Later---
"I'm not going to be hurt by any of this am I" I asked Twilight, who had me hooked up to a bunch of crazy mad scientist level tech.
the room was full of Tesla coils, blinky dials, electrodes, a slab to keep a monster on, or me in this case, and a few weird devices I don't think even had a purpose other than to bring the room together, and there was a very creepy looking Twilight with a clipboard and a lab coat and goggles, and to complete the mad genius look her mane was a bit frizzy in a few places.
"Don't worry, it's perfectly safe....... Probably" said Twilight. "Wait, what was that last part" I asked worriedly. I didn't get a reply, instead I just got a huge electric shock that would bring frankensteins's monster to life then kill it a few minutes later. I began screaming.
It went on for a few hours. Then it stopped. I saw Twilight just writing away on her clipboard the whole time. "Twilight, if you EVER , do that again, I will burn every book in your library one by one, and force you to watch while I do it" I said looking her dead in the eyes.
Twilight dropped her clipboard and quickly released me. "Sorry, I just wanted to see how you worked" said Twilight.
"That is understandable, but running electricity through me is not going to do anything but cause me pain" I said.
"But I can give you a few papers of what I know" I said while printing out a few papers from my mouth. (The papers, are the images in the authors notes)
Twilight looked them over. "I believe I can do my research with these, you can go now REX" said Twilight beginning to go into her geeky Twilighting mode. I waved my hand in front of her. No reaction.
'Dang, I should perform my own experiments on her sometime'
I walked out and activated my wings. I began flying off back to my bunker.
---Elsewhere---
"You're highness there have been reports of a strange black dragon flying over Ponyville" said a pony guard.
"Hmmm, it seems he's awake then, continue to observe, do not engage unless I tell you otherwise" said Celestia.
The guard pony walked away.
"I'll see you again soon R-E-X" Celestia said creepily while rubbing her hooves together.

Chapter 3 R-E-X MEETS MAMORU SHINIGAMI crossover part 1
Something has gone wrong. We don't seem to have an archived copy of that chapter. It was a few minutes after the portal closed. Mamoru seems like a good friend to have on my side in case things turn sour.
I walked over to the chest he gave me and opened it. I took out the contents and brought them upstairs to make for dinner. I was later interrupted of preparing my dinner by a knock at the door.
"Now who could that be?" I said to myself. I opened the door and found Applejack. "Can I help you with something?" I asked. "Yes, you can start by explaining why you were hanging upside down in one of my trees and eating my apples" said Applejack.
"Oh, right, I just wanted to try somethi--" I said. "Like what, hanging upside down and pretending to be a vampire fruit bat?" Interrupted Applejack. "Yes, now if you wanna join me for dinner you can, and you'll have stay the night as well" I said. "And just why should I do that?" asked Applejack.
I went back to the table and sat down and offered her a seat which she took. "Because this is the deepest part of Everfree forest, which is ground zero for all the monsters that live here, this is the most dangerous spot in the forest and it's a very bad idea to go out when its dark out" I said. "You live here, how bad can it be" asked Applejack. I got up and walked to the door and opened it to reveal a black tentacled monster with hundreds of eyes and sharp teeth and it was screeching and gargling and roaring and trying to claw its way in. I then closed the door and walked back to my seat. "Was THAT reason enough to stay inside, if not there are some actually dangerous things out there" I said sitting down.
"What was that thing?" asked Applejack looking pale. "I don't know but it keeps coming by my bunker, it's completely harmless though, as long as you aren't made of flesh of course" I said with a fanged grin. "You are all kinds of messed up" said Applejack. "Thank you" I said beginning to eat.
"What are you eating?" asked Applejack. "A few rare metals, polymers and alloys" I responded. "How can you eat that?" asked Applejack. I looked at her and removed my arm and put it back, then proceeded to remove my visor and point at what was within, then put it back on and continued to eat. "Heh, heh, Right, robot, I forgot"said Applejack nervously.
"I would share with you but you wouldn't be able to digest any of it, I don't have any pony food here either so I can't feed you, all I can offer is water" I said looking sad. "It's alright I can go one night without eatin' anything" said Applejack.
"So, she can show a machine empathy" I said jokingly. "Don't ruin the moment" said Applejack. I kept eating my materials and Applejack just watched in curiosity.
As soon as I finished I got another bunch of materials and put them on my plate and ate more. Applejack continued to watch. "How are you able to eat" asked Applejack. "I eat the same as any living thing" I said not looking to her and focusing on my meal. "But what do you do with all that" asked Applejack gesturing at my "food".
"My body is designed to adapt and upgrade and function as a living organism, the only way for me to do that is to eat these materials so I can have fresh material for my body to use" I said finishing up and proceeding to get another helping. "But why so much?" asked Applejack. "My body is made up of millions of parts, I need to consume mass quantities if I'm to upgrade" I said. "I still don't understand" said Applejack.
"I hardly understand it myself, but I didn't design this body, I just know that everything works" I said getting a chuckle out of Applejack. I finished my plate again and went to get the chest. I brought it to the table and sat down and grabbed a few morsels out of it and kept eating. "Aren't you overdoing It a bit" asked Applejack. Suddenly the phone Mamoru gave me began to ring. I answered it. "Hello" I said between bites. "Hey R-E-X, I'm just calling to tell you, that the chest I gave you is bottomless, so you will never run out of materials for upgrades, cool right?" said Mamoru.
"Yeah that's pretty cool, thanks" I said. "Ok that was all I wanted to tell you...... oh wait one more thing, when it's time for the gala, give me a call and I'll come over, You know how boring it will be if you don't" said Mamoru. I remembered that the gala was very boring. "Ok now that's it bye" said Mamoru hanging up.
"What was that about?" asked Applejack. "The friend who gave me the chest just told me that it won't run out of materials" I said. I looked down at my stomach and I looked to be carrying sextuplets.
"Yeah I think I'm done eating, come on it's time for bed" I said getting up. Me and Applejack went down into my room. "You take the bed, we won't both fit" I said plugging in to the wall socket. (Got a hydroelectric wheel mill, by the river a few years ago) "are you sure you don't wanna sleep with me" asked Applejack.
"I don't want to fornicate, so no thank you" I said getting on the ground as Applejack blushed. "I meant did you want to be in the bed with me, there should be enough room" said Applejack. I began to curl up like a cat and relax.
I looked over to Applejack. "I know you meant that, just a little joke, but I'm fine here thank you" I said putting my head over my arms. "Okay the, good night" said Applejack. "Good night" I said shutting down in order to upgrade, causing all LEDs to turn off. Applejack got into bed and went to sleep.

"Yawn, mmm" I said waking up. I looked around for Applejack but she wasn't in the bed. I stood up and tested out cloaking. After a few seconds I turned invisible. I turned cloaking off. I brought out my hidden blades. Parts in my arms slid up and a blade popped out in less than a second. I brought them back in. I walked over to a wall to test phasing. I put my arm through the wall and brought it back out. I turned phasing off.
I then walked upstairs and saw Applejack sitting on the couch entertaining herself. Then she saw me. "Oh good you're awake, I tried waking you but you wouldn't budge" said Applejack. "When I'm asleep everything shuts down, and I don't wake up until my time requirement is met, but even though I'm asleep, I'm completely aware of my surroundings, I just can't do anything" I explained. "Wait so you were watching me sleep the whole night?" asked Applejack. "Not intentionally, I have no control over what I record" I said and instantly regreting it. "Again not intentional" I said.
"Come, I'll escort you home, the weaker monsters are out about now so you should be fine as long as you're with me" I said bringing her outside. Applejack kept quiet the whole time. We walked through the forest and only one monster attacked, but was easily dealt with by my launching a ghidorah gravity beam breath attack.
As soon as we arrived at Sweet Apple Acres, we said our farewells. "Alright you can get home on your own from here, goodbye" I said said walking away. "That's it, you walked me all the way here, and you aren't even going to come for breakfast?" said Applejack.
"I will join you for lunch if it means that much to you, I can eat normal food" I said. "Alright I'll hold you to it then" said Applejack. "See you later" I said, walking away to begin my trek back to my bunker.

Chapter 5
It was later in the day, and it was almost time for lunch. "Alright time to go to Sweet Apple Acres for lunch" I said. I got out of my seat and walked out of my bunker.
I began my trek through the Everfree forest. I passed by Zecora's hut, gave her a wave, she just ran into her house. 'Racist, really wish I had a middle finger right about now, I just have a thumb and two fingers on each hand..... I'll upgrade with another finger later..... along with upgrading my feet to be more like a normal therapod foot'
I saw Applejack waiting for me on the front porch. I waved hello. “Hey, hope I'm not late, or early or anything” I said. “Naw, you're right on time Sugarcube” said Applejack. We walked in and were greeted by Big Macintosh and Granny Smith. “Applejack what is that thing? I thought you were bringing somepony over for lunch” said Granny. I turned off my eye motifs. ‘Ok that's hurtful, hmm, oh I know what to do’
“Hello, I am Robotic Evolutionary Xenoform, or R-E-X for short, I was invited to join you in the afternoon consumption of mass quantities” I said in my best Baymax-Beldar impersonations. They all stared at me. “Come again?” asked Granny. “I'm here for lunch, and my name is REX” I said normally. “Well why didn'tcha say so, come on, have a seat an’ dig in” said Granny.
We all sat at the table. Big Macintosh kept staring at me. I looked over to him as I ate an apple fritter. ‘What is his problem?’
We continued eating until everypony was full. Except for me and Big Macintosh, we kept eating. My robotic metabolism allowed me to continue eating food, because it broke it down rapidly. Apparently, Big Macintosh saw my continued eating as a challenge and began eating faster. I kept to my same pace as he made a pig of himself.
We went on like that until there was just one more piece of apple pie left. We took a glance at the pie. Big Macintosh looked at his stomach and back to the pie. He began turning green and just sat back as I took the pie and put it in front of him.
“Come now Big Mac, surely you could have one more bite” I said looking down at him. “Can’t eat any more, too full” he said. “Well in that case, anypony else want this last slice?” I asked. “I’ll have it -burp- no I won’t” said Applebloom passing out. “Well then, I guess that just means more for me” I said eating the last slice.
Big Macintosh passed out as he saw that. ‘Never challenge a Synth, you will always lose’
After a while, everypony got up and I said I had to go. “The food was delicious, I hope we can do this again sometime” I said making Big Mac throw up in his mouth a bit. We said our goodbyes and I went back to my bunker and slept off the extra energy I acquired by consuming all that food.

Chapter 7 crossover
It was a fine day, I was relaxing on my roof, the sun was shining, birds were chirping..........................
then I hear a record scratch as I’m pulled into another world.
—Elsewhere— —Mamoru Shinigami POV—
“Why did you call me Mamoru? I was in the middle of something!” Said REX.
“Yeah! it’s called fighting Superman, now help me kick some ass!” Said Mamoru.
“Fine!” Said REX, looking at Superman. REX took to the sky with hard light holographic wings and began firing gravity beams from his mouth at superman.
“A WILD SUPERMAN HAS APPEARED” said my left gauntlet, which I responded with a WTF look. It even confused Superman.
I brought out Darkrai and Mewtwo. I split into two and one of me pulled out a dark type Z Crystal. and the other pulled out a psychic type Z Crystal. We placed the Crystals in the Z stone and looked to Darkrai. “Ok Darkrai, Mewtwo let's do this!” We said getting into position.
“Shattered psyche” I shouted behind Mewtwo. Superman was launched backwards slamming into an invisible wall, and bounced off it into another and another repeatedly before being tossed to the ground. Then the other me stepped forward.
“Black Hole Eclipse!” The other me shouted behind Darkrai. Darkrai created a black hole before throwing it above Superman, he immediately got sucked in just before the singularity exploded.
Superman took major damage from both attacks.
I became one person again, returned my Pokémon back to their Pokéballs, and put away the Z Crystals.
I jumped up, launching myself at Superman ready to give him a right hook. Unfortunately he caught my fist and tossed me away. He appeared in my path, putting both his hands above his head, then slammed them down on me, sending me to the ground. I felt every bone in my body shatter but quickly begin to put themselves back together. When I stood up, superman landed not far from me. I put up my fists but I didn't see them. “What the?” I said as I looked where my fists should be. I was confused before I tried feeling my chest, I felt it, so I looked down to see my feet were facing the other way. "Oh! my head’s on backwards!" I said as I grabbed my head before turning it and an almost sickening snap followed. “Hehehee” I laughed.
I turned around to face Superman. He appeared in front of me, trying to punch me in the face, which when it hit, my head spun around like woody from Toy Story. I grabbed my head and stopped it from spinning and he went for another punch, but I dodged it with super speed and gave him a left uppercut with my beskar/tungsten knuckles in my gauntlet.
I thrust my right arm out, activating my drill gauntlet, in drill hand mode. The four drill fingers came out and clanged together twice. They began rotating and charging up purple energy and started firing an energy beam at Superman, which blew him back and left a bleeding gash where it hit. I brought the fingers together and thrust the drill into the soft spot the energy beam made. The drill began spinning and caused pain in Superman, making him cry out.
“Feel that? That is called pain, but what you’re feeling right now has been amplified by Gila monster venom, it makes the pain even worse! I like to make sure my sharp objects are coated in Gila monster venom, just in case I have to hurt someone, and make it hurt even worse” I said looking into his eyes, letting mine glow green a bit.
Just then, without warning, Superman punched me in the face. I staggered back and disengaged my drill gauntlet and Superman continued punching me and he was about to punch me again but I fell down, unconscious.
—REX POV—
‘I can’t believe that asshole summoned me here!’ I looked over at Mamoru as he fell unconscious. ‘And now I have to save his ass’
I intercepted Mamoru before he hit the ground by grabbing him with my feet. I brought him a few feet away and set him down. I flew back to Superman and fired my gravity beam at him. He dodged it and I found myself being shot at by his heat vision. Luckily my plating was made of tungsten, so it didn’t do anything. “My plating is tungsten you big blue idiot, why don’t you go back home so your mother can teach you how to put your underwear on properly!” I shouted.
I landed on the ground and fired a few lasers at him, but they didn’t do much. Then I replayed the moment when I hit him with my gravity beam, that worked! I’ll have to keep doing that, unless I can get me claws on some kryptonite, although my claws might cut through, but I should probably try first to test my theory’ I got close and gave Superman a few slashes from my claws. It only caused tears in his suit, and a few welts in his skin. ‘Ok that didn’t work, if my claws lightsabers that would worrrr….. Hey! I have an idea!’
I rewrote my design in order to allow my darksabers blade plasma to go to my claws by taking apart the Darksabers while they were in my legs and taking the kyber crystals and moving them to my chest, and rebuilding a few of my parts to allow the new weapons to form. It took a few seconds. I even made some for my back, so I’d have darksaber spines leading to my tail tip. I activated the blades, then all my claws, both fingers and toes grew short darksaber claws. And my back grew darksaber spines, coming up one after another leading down to my tail, just as planned.
I began running at full speed towards Superman. I ran past him and was able to leave a few cuts. ‘Yes it worked’ I ran at him again and did the same action again. Only this time Superman was ready for me. He caught me and punched my visor. It left a big crack and caused a few screen glitches. That made me mad.
I did a sonic the hedgehog spin attack, I looked like a flying black buzzsaw blade. I gave him a few more cuts and then retracted the claws and went to work on trying to repair the screen, only Superman didn’t give me a chance. He began hitting me over and over. I used my gravity beam on him and pushed him back.
I had to run away, my eye motifs showing fear. ‘I can’t cloak, he has x-ray vision, he’d still be able to see me, so I need to run!’ I ran and ran but Superman wouldn’t let up. I stopped and let him go past me and ran in the opposite direction, while he crashed into a building.
—Johnathan POV—
Me and doctor fate where having a dog fight in the sky above where the others were fighting.
"What wrong demon your spells are sloppy compared to last time." Doctor fate called out mockingly.
'Wait last time, we've fought before?' I thought, dodging a lightning bolt. I threw my own lighting but mine was red. He suddenly split into two different bodies to evade.
"This is new." I said they both flew in different directions. 'So they're trying to pincer me.' I thought as they both attacked one with lighting the other fire.
I caught both spell with my hands before clashing the together above me head carefully using my mana I combined them, and grinned.
"Hey it looks like you dropped some trash. HERE HAVE IT BACK!" I shouted, releasing it, a shock wave struck both doctor fate's causing one to disappear into nothingness.
"There you are." I said flying towards the real doctor fate punching his helmet with my immense strength. There was no dent but it clearly did a number on its wearer. I didn't give him time to recover as I spun around to kick him in the side sending him flying.
Here, have a parting gift!" I shouted sending a ball of mana his way, the doctor managed to regain control of his trajectory just in time to get out of the way of the ball.
"I won't fall that easily demon!" Doctor fate screamed unleashing another bolt of lighting. I didn't have time to block or get away as it struck me, I screamed in pain.
"Jonathan!" I heard someone, then doctor fate was shot out of the sky by a beam of red mana.
"Hannah." I muttered, then looked up to see my sister in her grim anodite form. "Finally." I breathed out in relief.
"Im so sorry I couldn't get here sooner." She tried to continue but I stopped her.
"It's alright you're here now, now let's finish this."
—REX POV—
I made it back to the spot where Mamoru was and I began electrocuting him. I repeated the action over and over. Then Superman found me. I looked at him in fear. “If you break me any more I’ll be deactivated, I am alive, I’m an independent living machine, and I don’t want to die, so please leave me alone!” I pleaded. I began working on the chemical composition of kryptonite. I opened my mouth and brought out my fangs. I was about to spray, but Superman stopped in his tracks, only he wasn’t focused on me, he was looking right past me.
I looked back and saw Mamoru standing up, but he wasn’t the same, he had a dark serious look in his eyes, and he had his signature cheshire grin. “Superman you are in trouble now!” I said looking at Superman.
—Mamoru POV—
“I’m gonna make you wish you were on your planet when it exploded, you big blue boyscout!” I shouted at him.
“REX! Our contract is complete!” I said. REX jumped through a portal and went home.
—REX POV—
I appeared in front of my bunker.
“Hopefully tomorrow is less..... eventful” I said shutting down.
