Chapter 1

The sun starts to set as the train from Ponyville pulls into the crystal empire. All around ponies are traveling from here and to there, tired from a long trip. Among these ponies were the newly princess Twilight and her friends. Her and her friends start to shuffle about as they approach the crystal empire’s castle. Applejack was the first to speak with excitement.
“Hoo-wee! Your very first princess summit. You must be over the moon, Twilight.” she said. Twilight looked at her friend with some joy.
“Oh, I am excited. But, to be honest, I'm a little nervous, too.” Twilight voiced filled with some worry. This was the first time she was doing anything as a princess. With such a high title now, of course she would be nervous.
“You're 'nervicited'!” Pinkie pie shouted.
“It's like you wanna jump up and down and yell ‘YAY ME!!’” She says as she jumps up and down. She then stops in front of Twilight.
“But you also wanna curl up in a teeny-tiny ball and hide at the same time!.... We've all been there!” She said as curled and uncurled herself.
“I'm there almost every day…” Fluttershy says, almost to herself. Applejack tries to comfort Twilight.
“You've got no reason to fret, Twi. Everything's gonna be just–”
“TWILIGHT!” Rarity cuts off Applejack.
“Oh, sorry, darling, but I just realized you're not wearing your crown. You haven't forgotten it back in Ponyville, have you?” Rarity as she looks over, then processes to smush Twilight’s face.
“It's in my bag.” Twilight says while looking over at Spike with the said bag. He pats the bag. Rarity then takes her hooves off of Twilight's face.
“Just feel a little self-conscious about wearing it….. Haven't really gotten accustomed to these yet, either.” Twilight’s voice is filled with uncomfort as she flaps her wings. She tries to attempt a small flight, But ultimately falls to the ground as her friends watch.
“You are a princess now, Twilight. Embrace it!” Rarity says with a reassuring smile on her face.
“I'm telling you, if I had a crown like that, I would never take it off. Why, I'd sleep in the thing.” She says with a dazzling smile. Twilight just happily rolls her eyes at her friend.

Once the Mane 6 entered the throne room, They were greeted by the sounds of trumpets played by the crystal guards. Twilight trots forward first and looks around, distracted by the trumpets. She keeps walking until she accidentally bumps into another guard, this one was different. He was a pegasus with an orange coat and a blue mane.
“Her highness, Princess Twilight Sparkle!” He said, presenting the princess. Princess Cadance trots towards Twilight. She giggles a bit.
“Twilight! I haven't seen you since the coronation!” Princess Cadance says.
“We have so much to discuss.” Princess Celestia says as she trots up with her sister, Princess Luna.
“But it can wait until tomorrow. You all look tired from your journey. Now, off to bed, all of you.” Princess Celestia says in a motherly, dismissing the ponies. The mane 6 make all kinds of sounds as they head off into their rooms.

Once Twilight and Spike got to their room, they began to unpack some stuff. While Spike was fluffing up his bed, Twilight pulled out her crown, with the element of magic in it. With an uncertain look she puts on her crown then looks in the mirror in front of her. All kinds of thoughts began to fill her head. Thinking of all the royal stuff she will have to, or might, do. She sighs. Spike turns his head to hear this.
“What's wrong, Twilight?” He says with worry.
“I don't know, Spike. I'm just... worried, I guess….” She starts to say then turns to Spike.
“Princess Cadance was given the Crystal Empire to rule over. What if, now that I'm a princess, Celestia expects me to lead a kingdom of my own?” Twilight starts to freak out a little.
“That would be awesome!” Spike says excitedly.
“No, it would not!” Twilight says back. She then started to trot to the nightstand beside her bed.
“Just because I have this crown and these wings, it doesn't mean I'll be a good leader!” Twilight then puts down her crown on the nightstand as he gets into the bed.
“Aw, sure ya will, Twilight. Now c'mon, you should get some shut-eye. Big day tomorrow!” Spike says while helping put Twilight in the bed. He turns the light off and gets into the bed made for him. For a few minutes, everything was calm as Spike started to drift into sleep. However he soon opened his eyes to hear and see Twilight toss and turn.
“Can't... tuck...!” Twilight says as she struggles to get her wings to close.
“Just trying to get comfortable! Ugh!” After struggling for a bit, she finally gives in and just sleeps how it was.

Night Fell upon the crystal empire. Everything had appeared to be calm as the crystal ponies slept in their houses. Inside the crystal castle, the royal guards roamed the hall, lighting the darkness with the magic of their horns. In a room quite far from one of the guards, a quick light shone through the keyholes. From the door, out came a mystery figure in a cloak. The figure hiding themselves in the darkness, carefully as not to get in the path of the light that was the royal guards. They started to pick up the pace little until they stopped at a certain room. Using cyan colored magic to open the door slightly, revealing Princess Twilight's room. The figure carefully made their way into the room, careful as to not wake the princess and her small sleeping dragon. They made their way to the only thing they wanted, The crown. Revealing their horn, they used their magic to take the crown. However upon taking the crown, it seems to knock over the lamp on the table. Quickly thinking they used their magic to grab the lamp before it fell to the floor. The figures look at the little dragon and princess to see if they were still sleeping. Once confirmed that they were, They put the lamp back and sneaked the crown under their cloak. From the cloak, They pull to what appears to be a look-a-like crown and place it on the table where the real crown was. The job was done. They try to sneak back out of the room, However, thanks to the small dragon shifting in his sleep, They trip over the small dragon's tail.
“Huh? What?!” The dragon wakes with alarm. Upon hearing something hitting the ground and Spike’s voice, Twilight wakes up. Still feeling the effects of sleep, she tries to focus on what was happening. She was then Fully awake when she saw a mare in a cloak. Within the cloak itself was her crown poking out.
“My crown! She's got my crown!” Twilight says in alarm. The mare in the cloak, then makes a mad dash out of the door. Not long after, Twilight throws herself out of the bed and chases after her. Once out into the hallway, Twilight makes a quick stop.
“Stop! Thief!” Twilight shouts at the mare. The mare keeps running.
“She's stolen my crown!” Twilight follows after the mare as her friends poke their head out their room to see the comotion. With anger on some of their faces, they follow after twilight. The mare was a head of Twilight. Thinking on her hooves she tries to cut off the mare by teleporting in front of the next hallway the mare was going into.
“Stop!” Twilight shouts. However the mare kept running, then in a quick burst of magic, the mare teleported ahead, or rather behind, of twilight, leaving her cloak behind. Without the cloak, it revealed an amber colored unicorn. Her mane was a brilliant red with yellow stripes. Her cutie mark was a red and yellow sun with a ying yang appearance in the middle of it. With a smirk, She continues running down the hallway with the bag that had the crown. An angered Twilight follows her. For a bit it seems the mare was going to get away, However as soon the mare looked behind her, the princess, now with her friends, were going closer to her. Once Twilight though she was close enough, She processed to tackle the mare. The tackle threw the both of them into the room the mare was heading into. Unknown to them, the tackle also threw the crown out of the bag it was in. The crown bounced around for a bit until it headed a strange mirror. Instead of hitting the mirror, it went right through it. Twilight, with her friends behind her, saw this and gasped in horror. The mare, on the other hoof, smiled with evil delight. Twilight looks at the mare, angered.
“What did you do with my crown?” She asks.
“Sorry it had to be this way…” The mare said. She then teleports herself to the front of the strange mirror.
“...Princess.” The mare then processes to then jump into the mirror, disappearing. Once more, the mane 6 gasps as to what just happened. Fluttershy was the first to speak.
“Who was that?”

“Sunset Shimmer. A former student of mine.” Princess Celestia began to speak. It was now morning. The mane 6 and the three other princesses had gathered in the throne room, to speak about what had happened that night.
“She began her studies with me not long before Twilight. But when she did not get what she wanted as quickly as she liked, she turned cruel and dishonest. I tried to help her, but she eventually decided to abandon her studies and pursue her own path. One that has sadly led to her stealing your crown.” Princess Celestia says sadly as she remembers her former student.
“She replaced Twilight's with this one.” Spike says as he shows the fake crown that Sunset left behind. Princess Celestia looks at the fake crown.
“I suppose Sunset Shimmer thought you wouldn't notice right away that this was not yours.” She says as She begins to walk out of the room.
“And by the time you did, it would be too late to go after your crown and Element of Harmony.” She said. Twilight quickly trots up beside her, confused.
“But I don't understand. Where did she go? Where did she take the crown?” Twilight asks in her confusion. The others start to follow behind them.
“You'll soon know more about this place than even I do.” Princess Celestia says.

Back in the room that crown and Sunset shimmer disappeared into, they gathered around the mirror. Princess Luna trots up to the mirror.
“This is no ordinary mirror. It is a gateway to another world. A gateway that opens once every thirty moons.” Princess Luna explains.
“Sparkly!” Pinkie says putting a hoof to the surface of it, causing little ripples onto the mirror. An unamused Princess Luna uses her magic to push pinkies hoof, her whole self, away from the mirror.
“It has always been kept in the throne room of Canterlot Castle. But when Princess Cadance took over the Crystal Empire, we sent it here for her to watch over.” Princess Luna continues her explanation. Princess Celestia sighs.
“I had always hoped that Sunset Shimmer would someday use it to return, to come back to Equestria seeking my guidance. Obviously, this is not what has happened.” The Princess says with a disappointed look on her face.
“Twilight.” Princess Cadance says. Twilight trots forward.
“you must use the mirror to go into this other world and retrieve your crown. Without it, the other Elements of Harmony have no power and Equestria is left without one of its most important means of defense.” Princess Cadance says with worry. Twilight looks towards the mirror in front of her, uncertain herself. Her friends look at her and each other with worry.
“Your crown does not belong in the place Sunset Shimmer now calls home. And in her possession, your Element of Harmony will no doubt be used to bring harm to the inhabitants of this other realm. They will not have the power to defend themselves.” Princess Luna says with worry as she looks at the other princesses. Twilight continues to look at the mirror. Princess Luna then puts a bag on Twilights back, surprising the mare a little. Princess Celestia comes up behind twilight.
“You understand the importance of your task?” She asks.
“Of course.” Twilight says with certainty.
“Good. Then you must go at once.” Princess Celestia says. Twilight looks in front of her once more. She looks down then takes a deep breath, with a face of determination. However as soon as she takes a few steps forward, Rainbow dash flies in front of her blocking her path.
“Whoa, whoa, whoa! She's going, we're going with her.” Rainbow says with a cocky smirk as their friends gather beside her.
“Right, girls?” Rainbow says.
“Oooh! I'm so 'nervicited'!” Pinkie squeals in delight.
“You do realize that's not a real word, right?” Applejack says. Twilight looks at her friends with a heart warming smile. That smile turned into sad shock as Princess Celestia put a hoof on her.
“I'm afraid I can't let you go.” Princess Celestia told Twilight’s friends.
“What?! Why not?!” An angered Rainbow stomped her hoof down.
“Sending all of you could upset the balance of this alternate world.” Princess Celestia sternly.
“creating havoc that would make it impossible for Twilight to get the crown back from Sunset Shimmer. This is something Princess Twilight must do alone.” She says as she puts her hoof off of twilight, letting reality sink in with Twilight’s friends.
“Time is of the essence.” Princess Luna speaks up.
“On the third day, when the moon reaches its peak in the night sky...” Princess Luna uses her magic to show a moon rising into the night sky. It quickly glows with magic.
“the gateway will close. And once it does, it will be another thirty moons before you will be able to use it to return.” Princess Luna says as her magic disappears. Twilight's friends quickly shout all kinds of quick words of encouragement at Twilight as Twilight steps forward to the mirror. She takes a hoof and slowly puts it in the mirror, her hoof starts to go through it. Twilight pulls her hoof back in alarm. She glances back at Princess Celestia. Princess Celestia only nods in encouragement. Twilight looks back at the mirror. Then processes to fully go into the mirror. Spike, who had been shaking in fear the whole time behind the ponies, in a full panic runs after her.
“Spike, NO!” The rest of the mane 6 tried to stop him, but it was too late. He crosses the mirror with Twilight.

Twilight groans, the trip seemed to take a bit of a toll on her. She slowly opens her eyes to see the ground in front of her.
“U-um, T-Twilight?” Spike's voice called out, he seemed panicked.
“Huh? Spike?” Twilight quickly realized he was there with her. She tries to look around.
“You’re not supposed to-- …..” Twilight finally forced her vision on Spike. She was about to give Spike a scolding on following her. However looking at Spike, it felt like her eyes were deceiving her.
“Spike….” Twilight says.
“Y-Yeah….” Spike says nervously.
“What….. What are You?!” Twilight says in alarm. Spike's new look was that of a shape of a small slime. The top of him was a pale lavender while the bottom half was a darker shade. On top of him looked like antenna-like horns and the face had a set of green round cheeks. His small eyes were almost black, but there was some green to them. Spike wiggles about trying to get a good look at what he has become.
“I-I don’t know!! It's freaking me out, ok!” Spike says, trying to get his voice under control. Twilight, worried, was about to try and comfort him with her hooves.
“A-and I have no idea what you are either!” Spike says. This stops Twilight right in her tracks. She then processes to take a look at her hooves. She starts to scream upon realizing she no longer had hooves, but hands. Her front hooves had been replaced with arms and hands while her back hooves were now really long and had feet on the end of them. Her body was longer and smaller. Her ears were smaller as well as her muzzle. She also appeared to be wearing an outfit, she was wearing a long sleeved light blue dress shirt with a lavender colored vest on top. She had a hot pink tie on. Her shirt was very purple with what appears to be her cutie mark on it. She had dark pale purple shoes with light blue socks. Lastly she had a lavender hat on her head and a belt with a bag on her hip. The belt had a strange shiny round object to it that could come off. Twilight realized she was screaming and quickly covered her mouth with her hands. She takes another good look at her new found hands and wiggles them. She starts to freak out again as she shakes then flails her arms. Spike who had freaked out a few minutes ago himself had already got himself together to try and calm down Twilight. the thought of both of them freaking out right now wasn’t the best idea.
“Twilight, you have to get it together!” He says. Twilight starts breathing heavily. She looks at Spike and takes a full deep breath, trying to calm herself.
“What…..does the rest of me look like?” She asks, trying to control the volume of her voice.
“Um, like you, only not you. Your muzzle’s really small.” Spike says, trying to point out with his non-existent hand.
“My muzzle?!” Twilight says. She feels her face, confirms her face had changed. She could feel another scream about to come out of her. Spike quickly jumped into her lap and tried to get her attention.
“T-Twilight PLEASE don’t scream again!” He says. Twilight looks down at Spike, after a few deep breaths she nods her head. The two processed to look around them. They appear to be on a sidewalk on a big lawn. Front of them was a big building, as big as a castle. In a way it almost resembles Canterlot back in Equestria. Behind them was a big statue which had a strange unicorn with a flaming mane and tail. All around the two though, were creatures, like was Twilight, walking around with other strange creatures. Some of these creatures were flying in the sky, others were relaxing on the ground, and somewhere walking beside another different creature on the sidewalk in front of the street. Spike was the first to speak up.
“So…. Where are we?”

Chapter 2- New Places, Old Faces

“I don't know…. But that must serve as the gateway back to Equestria!” Princess Twilight says as she sticks her new found hand through the portal. She quickly pulls her arm back to where she is now. She tries to get a hold of herself as she looks at spike.
“We need to find my crown as soon as possible and get back there.” She then looks onward towards the strange building that reminds her of the castle in canterlot, only it had strange round things on it.
“I suggest we start searching the castle first.” The Princess says.
“Are you sure?.... I mean….. Shouldn’t we figure out WHAT we are now?” Spike says, still trying to figure out his new silme body.
“We can figure it out later once we’re back in equestria! Now come on!” Princess Twilight said, trying to keep her cool in the process. She wanted to figure out what they were more than ever, however, the thought of getting the element and returning to the safety of equestria overpowered that. With a heavy sigh Spike jumped on to Twilight’s back. Twilight starts to get energy and runs on all fours.
“Um Twilight?...” Spike tries to get Twilight's attention.
“What now?!” She says as she stops in her tracks. She then looks over to see another person like his walking on his two legs with a strange green dog with yellow stripes. He turns his head to give Twilight a confused look.
“Yeah, I don't think that's how the new you is supposed to–” Spike gets cut off as Twilight quickly gets on to her feet. She quickly dusts off her skirt as she gives an awkward smile and wave. The person turns back to their strange dog.
“Electrike!” The dog says as it looks at the person with a happy look. The person just rolls their eyes and points forward. The dog gives off a huff and continues walking with the person.
“Whoa... Whoa! Ooh…” The Princess tries her best to walk forward on her new legs. She gets to the steps of the building.
“C'mon, Spike. I do not wanna be like this for longer than I have to.” She says as she pulls herself up the stairs.
“Whooooaaaa…. Ok then…” Spike uses his new sticky slime body to slither up the steps.
“well um... Well, look on the bright side. You don't have those pesky wings to worry about anymore.” He says once at the top of the stairs. Twilight gives him a glaring look like she was about to get him. Once at the top of the stairs Twilight gets to the door. With an elegant swing she slams right into the door. Twilight quickly recovers from slamming right into the door, But now she is confused. Her magic has always worked before. She tries to concentrate really hard but nothing happens. The realization quickly comes to her.
“My magic! It isn't working!”
“Makes sense. You don't exactly have your horn” spike points out.
“WHAT?!” Twilight quickly grabs at her head and hair, trying to figure out where her horn was.
“We…. We really need to find a mirror…” Spike sighs. He tries to point at the pull sign to Twilight. Once Twilight sees this she uses her new found hands to pull the door open. Once inside Twilight and Spike find themselves in a big open area with some banners and strange symbols, two hallways leading to some lockers, more stairs, and big doors leading to another big room. Twilight takes a closer look seeing some big cases with items inside. She tries to get more of a closer look.
“What do ya think, Spike? Other artifacts she's stolen from Equestria?” She says.
“I uh…. Can’t really see from down here…..” Spike points out. Twilight quickly backs up so she can pick up Spike. Once she backs up, she sees her own reflection and looks on in shock.
“What ARE we?” She looks all over herself in the reflection. Suddenly a bell rings out into the area and the place gets filled with people and strange creatures. The Princess quickly grabs Spike as she gets pushed and kicked down as others go by. She eventually rolls out of the crowd, knocked into another person.
“Whoa!” A person with Blue hair and pale amber skin. He was wearing a black jacket with some dirty jeans and a bag. Beside him was a strange looking black and blue cat with yellow eyes and other yellow markings.
“Luxio…” it said with concern in its voice.
“You ok?” The person said as he reached his hand out. Twilight with a concerned look on her face, slowly put out her hand into his. The person helps Twilight onto her feet. She gives a nod of her being ok. He then turns to the strange cat.
“Come on Lux, we got training to do!” He says as he walks away. The cat follows him while looking back at Twilight. Twilight watches as they both disappear into the crowd.
“I don't think this is a castle…” Spike says as he slithers up to Twilight.

After the interaction, Twilight and Spike spend most of the time walking around and watching others interact. They quickly figure that this place was some kind of school. In this school were so many people and creatures being friends and interacting with each other. Yet, This world was so strange to her. A couple of times she heard some people saying that these ‘creatures’ were called Pokemon. She was even more confused. What was a Pokemon? What a strange new world it was to her.
“Oh, I'm really sorry…” While walking Twilight started to hear a commotion down a hallway.
“I-I just found it, and-and I thought I should give it to her... I didn't know you had dropped it.” Twilight turns her head around the corner to look at the voice.
“Well, I did! And I was about to get it before you swooped in and ruined everything!” A girl says to another. Upon closer look Twilight see’s a Girl with light pink hair up in a ponytail and eyes are cyan. She had a light Yellow sweater on with green shoes and shirt with butterflies on it, around her waist yes a bag similar to Twilights with three of those strange round balls. In front of the girl was an angry small white bunny creature with some orange and yellow markings trying to protect her. On her head was a strange afraid purple butterfly with red eyes. Beside her was a sad and afraid strange flower tall looking creature which was shades of green and had an orange flower on its head. Looking back at the girl, Twilight makes a bit of a face as she realizes this girl reminds her of Fluttershy.
“You and Your Pokemon shouldn't pick up things that don't belong to you.” The other Girl says while her strange black and orange dog with horns beside her huffs.
“It... doesn't really belong to you, either.” The girl that looked like fluttershy said in a hushed tone.
“EXCUSE ME?!” The other girl flared up while her dog looked like it was ready to attack.
“N-n-nothing!” The girl says while picking up and grabbing her little bunny tight. The bunny looks like it wants to fight.
“That's what I thought. It's as good as mine, and you know it.” The Other girl says, backing off a little bit with smug in her voice. Both Twilight and Spike start to get angry while watching the situation. This girl had no right to treat the other that way.
“You really are pathetic. It's no wonder your Pokemon are all little weaklings.” The other girl makes fun of the shy girl. Twilight had enough of watching.
“How dare you speak to her that way!” Twilight shouts, coming forward.
“What did you say?” The other girl turned to reveal herself. The girl had wavy red hair with yellow stripes and cyan colored eyes. She was wearing a black spiked choker, boots and bracelet to go with her black jacket with two magenta colors on it. She had a magenta short top on with a sun split into red and yellow and an orange skirt with magenta and yellow stripes on it.
“I said…..” Twilight and the red haired girl stepped closer to each other. Spike followed Twilight, while the estranged dog followed the red-haired girl.
“...How dare you speak to her that way!” Twilight says with anger. Others in the hallway started to back up in fear.
“Ha! Sounds like someone is challenging me to a battle!” The Red girl says. Twilight looks away for a split second, not sure what to say. She then looks back at the girl.
“I guess I am.” As soon as Twilight says that, everyone around them gasps in shock and horror. The red haired girl stares at Twilight for a few seconds then smirks.
“You must be new here.” She then shoves Twilight out of her way and begins to walk away.
“I can speak to anyone any way I want.” She stops at the end of the hallway.
“Houndoom use Flamethrower!” She shouted without looking back. Twilight quickly turns to see the Strange dog barking a thing of fire at Spike. Before anyone had time to react, flames hit Spike.
“Gah!” Spike shouts and flies backwards.
“Spike!!” Twilight quickly rushes over to her dragon friend. The strange dog then follows the red-haired girl as she begins to walk away again, in a smirk. Twilight quickly picks up the injured Spike as the pink haired girl rushes over as well.
“Oh dear! Is your Goomy ok?!” She says as her creatures follow her. Twilight can feel herself freaking out. There were swirls in Spike's eyes and was making gurgling sounds. Usually Flames wouldn't hurt Spike, but this one did some damage.
“Oh no! Your Goomy f-fainted! Butterfree!” She quickly turns to her Butterfly.
“Quick, go alert Nurse Joy there’s been an accident!”

Twilight sat in a nearby chair in what looked like to be a small nurse’s station. The Pink haired girl had taken Spike and her here after what happened with the other girl. There they were greeted by another Pink haired Lady, whose hair was in buns and had a nurse outfit on with a little red cross on her hat. She had another creature besides her, a very round pink one with a little egg in a pouch. The Pink haired girl explained what happened to the Lady. Understanding, the Lady had turned to Twilight to ask for her goomy’s pokeball. At first Twilight was confused, but after pointing it out, she then understood she was talking about the strange round device on Twilight’s belt. Twilight handed over the Pokeball then the Lady took that and Spike to the back. While Twilight sat there, all kinds of thoughts ran through her head. She knew nothing of this world and her actions got Spike hurt. What was the dog-like creature? What was she even? Why were these creatures kept in ‘PokeBalls’? But the important question, how was going to get her crown back and get home safely? Suddenly the Pink haired girl sat next to her.
“Don’t worry, Our Nurse Joy is the best Nurse Joy. Your Goomy is in good hands.” She says trying to calm Twilight.
“I hope so…” Twilight said in a meekly voice.
“Still…. I can't believe you did that!” The girl began to talk about what happened earlier.
“Well, I couldn't just stand there.” Twilight said with strength, returning to her voice.
“Well…. it's just that nobody ever stands up to Sunset Shimmer.”
“Sunset Shimmer?!” Twilight almost yells in shock. The pony that had taken her crown, was right in front of her earlier. How did she not notice? Oh yeah, Sunset’s creature had attacked Spike.
“You've heard of her?” The Girl asked.
“Sort of…” Twilight nervously said.
“Um, A-Anyways, I don't think I've seen you around before. Did you just enroll here in canterlot’s trainer school?” The girl asks.
“Oh, Um… Yes! Just enroll…” Twilight nervously laughs.
“My name is Twilight!” She holds out her hand in a hoof like manor.
“Im…..” The girl says her name very quietly.
“Sorry, what was that?”
“It’s Fluttershy!” The girl quietly shouts. Twilight is now even more puzzled than before she met this girl.
“It sounds like you're saying Fluttershy, but how can that...?” Before Twilight can answer her own question. Nurse Joy comes back with Spike and The Pokeball.
“Here you go dearie, Your Goomy is all better now!” Nurse Joy said. Twilight quickly gets up and rushes to Spike.
“Spike! Oh good, you're ok!” Twilight sighs in relief.
“Still, I would be careful from now on, Your Goomy may be a Dragon-type, but it's at a pretty low level, I would avoid trainers like Sunset.” Nurse Joy says as Twilight picks up Spike. Fluttershy walks over and pets Spike.
“But you have a lovely goomy, Oh, wouldn't ya just give anything to know what they're really thinking?” She says.
“He usually just tells me.” Twilight says.
“O-oh, what do you mean?” Fluttershy says turning her head to twilight while Spike was signaling twilight to keep quiet.
“Oh, uh, Nothing! Never mind...” Twilight nervously chuckles. Twilight takes Spike’s Pokeball and begins to walk out of the little center with Fluttershy.
“Sunset Shimmer said you picked something up. Something that belonged to her. It wasn't a crown, was it?” Twilight asks, remembering that she needed her crown back.
“How did you know?” Fluttersht asks back.
“Um, Lucky guess!” Twilight nervously chuckles again.
“Do you still have it?” She asks. Fluttershy shakes her head no. Twilight frowns for a second then smiles.
“But you know what happened to it.” Twilight says. Fluttershy nods her head
“This morning, I was passing out flyers for the Pokemon shelter like I do every Wednesday…” Fluttershy says as she flashes back to what happened.
Fluttershy was standing by the statue with her pokemon, trying to pass out flyers to her fellow students.
“Canterlot's Pokemon shelter needs more volunteers. Won't you help a Pokemon that can't help itself yet?” Fluttersh said so quietly. Everyone around them just went on with their day. Fluttershy slowly dropped some flyers and began to cry. Her pokemon trying to comfort her. Suddenly something behind her hits her in the head.
“Ow!” She said in pain. Her little bunny pokemon picks up the object, which was the crown, and gives it to Fluttershy.
“I have no idea how it got there.” Present Fluttershy says her flashback ended.
“But I didn't want anything to happen to it, so I decided to give it to Principal Celestia.” Fluttershy continued.
“Principal Celestia? She's the ruler here?” Twilight says while confused quite a bit. It seemed more names from her world were popping up more in this world.
“You could say that. Technically, I guess she and Vice Principal Luna do make the rules.” Fluttershy says, a bit confused as well at twilight’s words.
“Where is she now?” Twilight says with quickness in her voice. Finally they were back on track with the crown.
“Probably in her office.” Fluttershy says. Twilight started to quickly run with Spike in her arms. However she soon realized that she had no idea where she was going and quietly turned back to Fluttershy.
“Third door on your left.” Fluttershy points out.
“Thank You!” Twilight then begins to run again.
“Oh, wait!” Fluttershy shouts. Twilight stops for a minute and turns around.
“Um, I would be careful like Nurse Joy said, so it's best to put your Goomy in its Pokeball sometime.” Fluttershy says as she puts her little bunny in its Pokeball.
“Oh, okay! Thank you!” Twilight shouts back. The bell above them rings.
“Oh, no! I'm late for Pokemon moves Class!” Fluttershy quickly runs off.

Twilight and Spike make it to the door of the Principal Celestia office. Twilight takes a deep breath. This may not be her Celestia but it's still Celestia. Twilight knocks on the door.
“Come in.” She hears Celestia’s voice as the door opens on its own. As Twilight tries to do her best to gratefully enter the room, There were two Pokemon in the office, helping with documents and such. One Pokemon was a big floating orange and yellow rock that resembled the sun. The other was a tall fox with some yellow and red fur. It had a stick in its hand that was on fire. Behind her desk was Celestia herself, her skin was tan and her hair was the same light shades of blue, green, and pink like pony Celestia. She wore a yellow suit with a couple of pins on it.
“How may I help you?” She says without looking up from the file she was reading. Twilight, unsure of herself, gently puts Spike down from her arms and walks up to the desk.
“Um, uh... Whew.” Twilight fumbles with her words. The Principle finally looks up from her desk and looks at Twilight with a confused face.
“My name's Twilight Sparkle. I-I'm new here, and... Well, I understand that Fluttershy found a crown this morning and gave it to you.” Twilight got her words out.
“Yes. I've had Vice Principal Luna put it somewhere for safekeeping. No idea how it ended up in the front lawn.” Celestia says as she holds up the flies in her hand. The Sun rock pokemon uses its physic powers to put it away.
“Were you interested in running for Princess of the Fall Contest this year?” Celestia says with a smile.
“Uh, no. Not exactly. The truth is... Well, the truth is I…” Twilight fumbled with her words
“You see, the crown is actually... Princess of the Fall Contest?” Twilight asked, a bit shocked.
“It's Canterlot High's big Fall dance and Pokemon contest. You show off your pokemon moves and the students judge how well you did.” Celestia says while her Tall fox pokemon uses a marker to mark off a day on a calendar.
“Oh, Kinda like the Grand Galloping Gala, ish!” Twilight remembered.
“Uh, Grand Galloping Gala?” Celestia looked confused.
“Oh, uh, it was a big deal at my old school.” Twilight quickly said.
“And was there a princess?”
“Yes, but she wasn't exactly a student.” Twilight said while looking at a wall with some pictures on it. In three of the pictures there was Sunset shimmer with her pokemon, slowly showing Sunset top to power.
“Well as I said, Here at Canterlot High, the students select one of their peers to represent them. She receives her crown at the Fall Formal.” Celestia finally gets up from her desk.
“Hmm…” Twilight starts to think of something while she picks up Spike.
“You asked me if I was interested in running for Princess. Can anyone run?” Twilight asks as she begins to walk out of the office with Spike in her arms.
“You just need to let the head of the Fall Contest Planning Committee know you’d like to be on the ballot. Was there anything else?” The Principal says while standing by the door.
“Um…nope, that was it.” Twilight says while forcing a smile on her face.
“Well, if you do need anything else, my door is always open.” The door then quickly slams shut, giving Twilight and Spike a bit of a scare. Twilight begins to walk away and out into the hallway as Spike looks up at Twilight.
“Twilight, why didn’t you just tell her the crown was yours and ask for it back?” He asked with a saden expression.
“Oh, I was going to…. but imagine if one of them showed up in Equestria saying they came from a place filled with tall, fleshy, two-legged creatures with these! We’d think they were crazy!” Twilight said. The more she thought about it, the more it wouldn’t make sense to someone from here if told the truth. And it would be the same vice-versa.
“Hmph. You make a good point.” Spike said.
“Looks like if I want my crown back, I’ll have to become Princess of the Canterlot High Fall Contest.” Twilight said. This was the only option that made sense to Twilight at this point.
“So that’s what I’m gonna do!” She says with enthuseasum. There was a bit of silence.
“.... And how exactly do you plan on doing that?” Spike spoke up.
“I have no idea!” She says with even more enthuseasum.
