Cadence and Shining Armor were both worried for Spike, as he was family to the the two, they were both clearly distressed, Shining Armor wouldn't stop pacing around in the hospital waiting room now they were here to visit Spike. They could still remember their happiest moments with him.

"Look it's the monster." one of the Canterlot Guards said with venom.

"Hey fellas how is it going?" Spike asked nervously seeing as the three guards surrounded him.

"Quiet Dragon scum." another guard said pushing Spike to the ground.

"They oughta take you to the palace to get you roasted." one guard mocked.

"Or branded." the other guard laughed while Spike shuddered in fear crying.

"Excuse me." Shining Armor made his presence known and glared at the guards.

"Captain Armor uh-" one guard tried defending himself.

"Silence it is clear what I saw, you are not to cause such pain to Spike again, as punishment for this nonsense you will be cleaning the whole castle, get to work." Shining Armor ordered angrily making the guards run in fear.

Shining Armor then walked to Spike in remorse.

"I'm sorry about the guards, ignore what they say, they don't know you like we do."

Spike then looked up at Shining Armor with a smile "Thanks Shining Armor."

Further into the past it showed Twilight, Spike, and Cadence playing together as the three smiled at each other having a good time.

"Your majesties, Spike is waiting for you." Bob bowed while speaking.

"Thank you sir." Cadence said gratefully as she and Shining Armor walked to Spike's room.

Bob then ran to Noah and then said with glee "Did you hear that the princess said thank you to me bahahahahahahahaha, I'm so happy."

"Good for you, now if you'll excuse me I have patients to check on maybe you should try it sometime." Noah said sarcastically.

"Okay I'll come too." Bob said following Noah.

Shining Armor and Cadence then looked at Spike with remorse he looked like he was hit by a bus and he was so pale too.

"Spike thank goodness you're okay." Cadence said with relief hugging the pale dragon.

"The Crystal Empire has been in a frenzy since you were sent to the hospital, they were very worried about Spike The Brave and Glorious." Shining Armor stated.

"Well tell them I'm doing fine for now, it's so great to see you guys, how is Twilight?" Spike asked coughing a bit.

"She's worried sick, and she hopes you'll pull through." Cadence clarified with sadness.

"Well tell Twilight I am doing fine and to stay strong." Spike said encouragingly.

"Will do, Spike." Shining Armor said with some happiness.

"Excuse me your highness we need you to leave, Spike is getting an X-Ray." Bob said in remorse.

"Okay that's fine, you stay safe Spike." Cadence said in understanding.

"I will guys, don't worry." Spike said encouragingly
