“No! For the last time, no!” A shrill voice echoed throughout the halls of the otherwise quiet dormitory. The sound had come from one of the back rooms, a shared room between two friends. Though you’d be forgiven for not knowing that from their current interaction.
“Please? I’ll even let you pick the form this time.” The cyan changeling asked. She was currently in the middle of giving the biggest puppy eyes a ‘ling could give, something the dragoness didn’t seem even the slightest bit affected by.
She instead seemed to be more intent in tearing a groove into the carpeted floor as she paced back and forth in their small room. “You ask me that one more time, I swear I’m going to punch you. It’s gross and disgusting, find somedragon else to do it.”
“Aww,” Ocellus whined, “But you did it last ti-”
“Yeah! And you know what, I’ve regretted it ever since.” Smolder stormed towards the door, nearly ripping it off of the hinges in her attempts to open it. “I don’t care how much you want it, go find someone else!”
Not allowing Ocellus to even get a word in, Smolder slammed the door shut behind her. Leaving her all on her own. She sat in silence for a moment, mulling over what happened and how to fix it, before getting pulled from her thoughts by a knock on the door.
Pulling herself up, she flared her chitinous horn. A cyan aura wrapped around the handle, before pulling the door back open. Behind it, was her griffon friend. He had one claw in the air, not moving an inch as if he was on the brink of an active minefield. “H-hey Ocellus, what’s up?”
She just shook her head, “You tell me, Smolder’s being prudish and standoffish today for some reason.”
Gallus let his claw fall back down, “I could hear that..” He carefully walked into the room, gingerly closing the door behind him. “Are you two okay? She sounded upset.”
Ocellus rubbed her hoof against her face, her frustration as clear as day. “Gallus, you eat meat right?”
He raised an eyebrow, “Normally, yeah. But the school of friendship doesn’t cater to that.”
“What about pony meat?”
Gallus’s eyes grew to the size of dinner plates, “No- I mean. I woul- I mean… Uh. Where’s this coming from Ocellus?”
Instead of answering she threw her hooves up in the air. “See, this is what I’m talking about. You’re clearly want it, but you hide it behind this dumb veil of grossness.”
“How did you know… Oh.” Now was Gallus’s turn to put his claw to his face, “Right, changeling.”
“Thank you!” She let out an exasperated sigh, “At least you remembered. I can literally feel how much you want it, yet you dumb carnivores try and hide it.”
“Uhh” Gallus struggled over his words, “That’s because eating pony is kind of illegal…”
To his surprise, Ocellus shook her head. “I’ve looked it up, it’s actually not. You just can’t get it from a non-consenting pony.”
Gallus rolled his eyes, “Oh yeah, let me go just ask somepony if I can go eat them. I’m sure they’ll be just ecstatic to help”
“Who said you had to go ask somepony else?” She fired back
He just blinked, taking his fair share of moments to process that mentally, eventually settling on, “What..”
Ocellus let her head fall back as she groaned at the ceiling, “Are you telling me that you’ve already forgotten the classes we had last week!” She said, her voice distorted from her head’s odd position.
Gallus blinked once, twice, three times before letting out an “Ohhhh”. He nodded along, “Changeling studies, I remember now! Something about how love isn’t the only emotion to feed off?”
The changeling let her head drop back down, “I’m glad you remember such a basic fact about one of your close friend’s anatomy. A fact that was taught in a class that happened less than seven days ago, might I add.” She let out a sigh, “Do you want me to spell it out for you?”
He nodded sheepishly, accepting the opportunity to not embarrass himself further.
“Changeling’s have an internal buffer of energy, usually to assist with transformations, which is fed via the Amygdalitic cluster. This energy is in turn stored in the hippocampus as ether resin, as a high bypass factor fuel. Which, via Neighstiens’s law of equivalence…” She noticed that Gallus’s eyes had long since glossed over, nodding along to just the tempo of her words.
Ocellus paused for just a moment, “Changeling’s can regenerate body parts”
“Ohhh, why didn’t you say that” She resisted the urge to slap herself in the face. “Wait, does that mean you’d want me to eat you?”
Finally able to get to the real meat of the conversation, Ocellus relaxed back onto her bed. “That’s what I’m saying, yes”
He just continued to look at her as if she’d grown a third head, “Wouldn’t that hurt though?”
“Depends how you did it,” She lifted up one of her chitinous hooves, “If you tried to gnaw off my legs it hurt less than if you started tearing open my guts” To emphasise this she rolled onto her side. Exposing the softer, yet still hardened, undercarriage.
The griffin didn’t have a proper response to that, he just stood with his jaw slightly agape for several seconds. Though something in the air seemed to break him out of it as he loudly sniffed the air a few times, he quickly shot a glance between her legs before turning his head to the side. A blush clearly forming over his feathers. “Are you uh, getting turned on by the idea of being eaten, Occellus?”
Now it was her turn to blush, “Look, this doesn’t have to be a one way street, you know?” She shook her head to clear it, “So, are we doing this or not?”
Gallus nodded, as weirded as he was by the whole situation, it had been far too long since he had any fresh meat. And you certainly couldn’t get any fresher than what she was offering.
With a smile and a flash of green fire, Ocellus transformed. Soon, in her place was a light purple mare. She flicked her bi-colour mane to the side as she opened up her stomach to her predator to be. “Go on ahead then, feast away”
The griffin nervously approached, getting within touching distance of the fur coat before looking back up at the transformed mare. “Uh, Ocellus don’t take this the wrong way but could you be somepony else?”
She raised an eyebrow but nodded, “Did you have someone in mind?”
If she was told his blush could get any redder, she wouldn’t have believed it. Gallus couldn’t even meet her eyes before blurting out a name.
With another flash of fire, she changed not only size but gender too as she took the form of Sandbar. With the rush of arousal that she felt waving off of the griffin, she knew instantly why he wanted her in this form.

He nodded slowly as he trotted out of the room and began down the hallway. He kept replaying the events in his mind, not paying attention to where he was walking. It wasn’t until he bumped headfirst into her did he realize there was a pony in his way.
“Gallus! You should watch where you’re-” Starlight began to admonish, “Why are you covered in blood?”
