I planned on the first story of the series focusing on The Sirens teaming up with Principal Cinch in order to turn their devious melodies into a type of signal which could be transferred to other countries in order to provoke wars amongst Nations. I wanted part one to focus on Sunset being a brand new spy for CHS, as she had hit and miss missions trying to find her footing. I quickly felt overwhelmed that I wouldn't be able to write a decent Mystery/ Adventure/ Spy story. So I quit pretty early on. Shimmer Cell ( Splinter Cell Parody Opening Sequence. ) “Hurting yet!?” Rainbow Dash ran in place with a mocking fashion. The sun basked the world below in a warm embrace. The school track was partly crowded, what few people hanging out amongst the bleachers or sitting in the vibrant green grass of the field were simply engaged in conversation not competition. Though everything to the rainbow haired young woman was a challenge. She took great pride in pushing not only herself, but her friends to the limit of their physical endurance. Without breaking the slightest sweat, she had run a little over three miles and was hungry for more. Her friend Sunset Shimmer was a different story altogether. The bacon haired girl drenched in sweat over an exhaustive workout, her sporty outfit of a tank top, shorts, and sneakers doing little to help her cool off. The teenage girl could feel her lungs burn from overexposure to exercise. She didn't mind a quaint jog over to the mall, perhaps followed by a session of shopping. But to run six miles just for the exhilaration seemed like a practice in madness. Rainbow meant well she supposed, even if she was borderline abusive with her methods. “Not a chance!” Sunset lied through her teeth quickly to lift a thumbs up in reassurance. “Good, because I'm upping this session to ten miles!” The turquoise girl flashed a wicked grin to her friend followed by a devious gaze. Sunset could feel her legs cramp from the mere suggestion of such chaos. With a loud thud the teenage girl collapsed to the parched black top in defeat, her chest heaving in place eager for a long overdue rest. Rainbow taking her time to walk over, those dark violet hues gazed down to her friend in smug satisfaction and perhaps disappointment. “You can lie to yourself, you can lie to those around you, but you can't lie to me.” Rainbow offered a slender hand down to Sunset with a playful wink. “I wasn't lying, just buying time.” Sunset took the hand being lifted to her feet, both her cheeks burned a rose red color in exhaustion. Rainbow giggled behind her hand politely. Rolling her eyes for a moment as she tossed her friend a bottle of water that was latched to a belt on her wide hips. Sunset catching the bottle in her hand with ease, her lips pursed into a tiny pout. “We all can't be champions.” Sunset retorted with a collected tone of voice. “I never ask for perfection, just for my girl's best.” Rainbow was ready with her answer, gently punching her friend on the shoulder afterwards. Sunset felt her teeth bite down on her lower lip in deep thought. Watching with unblinking translucent blue eyes, as Rainbow gathered up her duffle bag and other supplies for the afternoon.”Just ask yourself, Sunset ~ Did I do my best?” Rainbow spoke from a few feet down the field, soon vanishing from view. Sunset left to a cavalcade of thoughts stampeding through her mind. Did she really give her best?

I wrote this opening sequence which would've taken place in and around, the Yak's borders. But since I never posted this, does that mean I actually never did fall into the craze after all? Fallout Equestria ( Fallout Parody, Opening Sequence. ) The wind would howl much like a wicked Timberwolf in the night, the once bright and colorful world now a void within the pitch black abyss. Nothing could be seen past the weak dim light of a nearby lantern, swaying back and forth lazily in the icy winds of the night. The world outside a plain of nothingness cast in shadows that could never be pierced, not that anything within this frozen tundra was worth investigating anyways. The wind began to pick up speed soon enough, the small shack that was called home to a tiny equine mare would start to shake in place down to the core of its weak foundation. Glowing violet eyes creeping open from within the void, long dark lashes batting in place as she forced herself to raise to weak hooves. Her snow white coat smudged by debris of this frozen world, coated in dirt and tainted by smears of dry blood. Her once vibrant two tone lime and forest green mane tangled, a complete mess in any sense of the word frazzled, filthy and worn by the nightmares of a dying world. Know Hope gave a sigh from her tiny muzzle eyes casting a narrow glare towards her wooden door, ears twitching side to side as silence poured into the room quickly waiting to hear anything outside. The snapping of twigs wafting across the wind, the crunching of snow echoing out of the darkness catching her attention swiftly. The mare may have missed several meals as of late, yet she galloped with a skip in her hooves to the old oak door at full attention. Eyes gazing through a nearby crack in the frame, searching for any signs of life among the falling snow outside. Any tracks on the ground now hidden by fresh falling powder, the small shack completely defenseless against any kind of attack. “If anypone is out there, be known I’m a mighty unicorn!” The earth pony mare gave a loud cough into her right hoof, body on fire from a lingering fever, her muscles feeling as if they were melting. The soft hoofsteps of a pony soon came closer from the darkness, dark blue eyes suddenly snapping into view through the crack. Hope could just fall back onto her plot with a thud, midnight colored mane cascading beside the eye in her field of view. “Uni help? I’m uni too, the wind she’s relentless!” The chipper voice of a mare spoke loudly, her voice almost hidden by the howling weather of the world. “I fear I have no room, my place is small yet delicate…” Hope gave another cough aloud, crimson color splashing upon her tiny hoof oozing with fresh mucus. “Uni, open up please?” The mare gently rattled the doorknob in place, the icy winds picking up speed outside the whole shack swaying back and forth. “I fear not!” Hope quickly searched the small area for protection, her pink hues falling upon a nearby leg from a withered dining table. “UNI, OPEN UP NOW!” Dark red magic began to encase the whole door frame, wildly yanking it off the hinges, the wood splintering in all directions. “Buck, she really is a unicorn!” Hope gave a soft groan, wrapping hooves around the small piece of wood. Her mind raced for a solution to this horrible problem, she had no way to defend against a unicorn with enough brass left to cast magic. Hope weakly dragging her hooves to a cracked window to the right, lifting up her weak weapon and shattering away the glass with ease. Her pathetic table leg breaking in half from the force, leaving behind a sharpened point of a tiny stick. “Uni, you weren’t being very friendly!” The door flung open widely being ripped off the frame as if by a beast, thrown across the tiny room in a loud crash as a black and white spotted unicorn let herself inside. Those wicked blue eyes scanning for her new friend with hatred, spotting the broken window off to the side before rushing over. Her head sticking out the window hastily, never noticing the small earth pony below her crouched in the snow. Hope took her chance to strike, stabbing the sharp stick as hard as possible into the unicorn’s neck. Crimson blood splashing against the virgin snow, pouring her vile warm essence onto the mane of the mare. She gave a gargle of pain into the night sky, eyes full of horror from the attack before Hope plunged the stick completely within her neck. The unicorn became limp as her body slumped against the open window, eyes blank with death a look of terror yet sorrow frozen upon her muzzle. Hope tugged the mane of her attacker firmly with two hooves, pulling the dead mare out the window and crashing into the soft snow at her side. “I could say the same about you…” Hope let a raspberry escape her dry cracking lips, hooves patting down her kill quickly. She only had a single saddlebag full of broken promises and waking nightmares, a single torn brown cape with matching hood, a small clear marble with a diamond marking on it and a rotted piece of carrot. Know Hope felt sick to her stomach, this bag was never worth the life of a fellow equine, yet this nightmare was now her reality. One she could not find an escape from no matter how hard she searched, flipping on the cape and hood to stay warm she swiftly clicked on the saddlebag afterwards. Limping slowly through the freezing snow she made her way back inside the small shack, gnawing on the mushy carrot for some kind of energy in prayer that the pain inside would cease. Tomorrow could be better she thought, yet deep inside her soul she knew that the world had ended. The land was dying, soon all would be dead. FALLOUT. The sky grew calm through the night, a pastel blue color stretching across the horizon for miles on end. The world below a canvas of white and blue, ice covering every path and tree that wasn’t buried in powder. Fresh snow casting the land in a pure white blur, the world silent and calm this early morning within the tundra. Hope let a trail of steam escape her muzzle, pushing slowly through the frozen landscape with what little strength she had left. The powder reaching her upper legs and caressing her underbelly, the small mare struggling to not sink beneath the frozen snow while in a frantic pace to find new shelter before nightfall. It had been many long years since the day the world ended, fate had cast all of ponykind into a dark age which had no escape. Within a matter of time all harmony had vanished from the land, ponies turning against one another in a violent rage for survival. The many towns and cities across the country falling into disarray, the massive deserts taking over the land and sapping the strength from the residents all around the world. Hope had thought perhaps the mountains were safe from the violence of wicked ponies and various other creatures, that besides the cold weather she could simply fade away into a new land of peace. Yet dreams were fleeting much like the prayers for peace in this horrible new world, ‘The Tundra’ just as full of anger and death as the scorching world below. The young mare allowed her mane to fall in front of her face in a growing panic, frost building on her brows mucus freezing in a trail down her muzzle. The sun shining bright in the sky yet could bask no warmth upon the land, her hooves numb with pain while her limbs grew stiff at the joints. She knew this was indeed a mistake, her overzealous desire for shelter had now placed her in a world of trouble. Coming to a stop the mare began to sink deeper into the snow, her body falling into the powder with delicate thud. A soft echo of air escaping her muzzle before wafting into the sky, Hope could feel falling snow coat her tiny body in an icy tomb while the world slowly faded from view. All would soon become a dark void of the abyss, the sound of her breathing echoing inside her ears from the pitch black tomb. Her final thoughts of peace replaying in her mind wildly, a simple day of relaxation with a friend or a calm night alone with a simple book to read. These were her final dreams, a strand of hope that burned bright within the darkness.

I simply lost steam on this idea, I honestly felt this wasn't my best writing. As if something was missing. As The Sun Sets ( Unfinished) "I heard that the new cafe has a salad to absolutely die for!" Sunset flaunted her hand playfully towards her nice country friend beside a large open pasture full of various horses. Applejack giggled wearing a dirty pair of overalls, her sun kissed blonde hair tied into a bouncy high positioned ponytail. She just got done with feeding the horses, Sunset watching her lazily from a perch stop the old wooden fence. With all her chores done, nothing would be better than a long hang out session with her best friends. Applejack happily tossing a burlap sack of sugar cubes at Sunset's feet, the young country gal giving a well earned stretch in place. "Hoo-boy, that sure does sound like a little piece of apple pie!" Applejack caught a strong scent of five hours working the farm, her cheeks burning a bright red as she slammed her arms down in a swift motion. "Maybe a shower first?" Sunset smirked hopping down from the fence with a friendly wink. "Darn tootin', I'll be ready in two shakes of a lamb's tail!" Applejack yanked her hair free from the hairband happily, waves of gold framing her face sweetly. "Take your time! ~ I'll call the girls, get the ball rolling!!" Sunset waved off her friend who dashed off into the distance towards a massive farmhouse, the sun a bright orange hue in the calm blue sky. "If that waitress offers me bacon on my salad again, I'm totally not leaving a tip." Sunset rolled her turquoise eyes, blowing a strip of red and gold hair out of her vision. The teen girl decides to lean up against the fence on her phone, the soft clicking of her fingers across the cell phone echoing against the quiet melody of nature. Sunset sent off a text to Pinkie Pie, before the familiar scent of sugar tickled her nose from below. Unguarded on the moist green grass were sugar cubes, those lovely little white pieces of paradise beckoning all to soak in their unparalleled beauty. In fact the grass didn't look too bad either, lush and vibrant from the morning rain, the fleeting scent of flowers upon the wind. "Wow, this place is actually really beautiful!" Sunset gave a delicate sigh, she kneeled to pluck a single sugar cube from it's burlap prison. Without a second thought, she popped the treat into her mouth with a dreamy smile upon her face. Instantly transported back to a time when she was surrounded by older friends, those late nights in the dorm enjoying sugar cubes and crunching for an morning exam. Celestia overheard the chorus of giggles during the calm of the night, poking in to make sure all was calm and all was right. "Shouldn't you girls be asleep?" Celestia nudged the old wooden door to the dorm open with her snout, the messy claustrophobic space of young fillies a total trainwreck. Books scattered all across the floor, half mixed potions left to bubble on the shelves forgotten by young minds. Sunset Shimmer sprawled across her bed in a cocky manner, an extra large book on the Summer Solstice held in her hooves. "Of course CeCe, just doing a last bit of light reading." She flipped the book open to a random page sarcastically. "Hmm, is that so? ~ Firefly?" Celestia let those all knowing eyes fall upon a pink unicorn on the floor, who happened to be reading her book upside down. "Err, yes? ~ Right, Light Bright?" Firefly quickly passed the question off to the second bed in the room, a mint colored unicorn with pigtails curled up in the corner full of anxiety. "Mm-hmm!" Light Bright nodded along with lips pursed tight, voice muffled by an unseen force. "Well ok , remember tomorrow is very important…" Celestia began to leave just as a geyser of white sugar erupted from Light Bright's mouth, the stream of sugary saliva shooting across the room onto Firefly's mane impressively. "Ewww, it's warm!" Firefly squealed out in disgusted cries of annoyance. "The bag of cubes had a hole in it!!" Light Bright tried to explain as the wave of sugar continued to froth forth from her muzzle helplessly. Sunset remembered only laughing from the sight, rolling off her bed with a thud. In fact, she thought Celestia might have giggled too. Sunset could feel the sweetness fade from her lips, the kneeling young woman left to gaze out towards the large open pasture. Lifting to her feet, she placed both hands atop the wooden post. The horizon seemed to stretch on forever, grass dancing in the gentle afternoon breeze welcoming all to enjoy the beauty of the present. Yet all she remembered thinking about… Was the future. "Look at that beautiful Sunset!" Sunset Shimmer flashed an overconfident smile to her reflection within a puddle of fresh rainwater on the ground, she had aced her final exams and was well on her way to stardom. Celestia shook her head in silence, she hoped that inviting her student out onto the school's private pasture might reignite a sense of passion within her soul. Yet Sunset seemed content to simply admire her own sense of accomplishments instead, lost in a reflection of what she could be, rather than who she was. "Sunset, I invited you out here…" Celestia searched her mind for those right words. "I know, because I'm now your personal protege!" Sunset gazed away from her reflection with a smug little huff aloud. "What do you see?" Celestia pointed her hoof out across the rolling hills of the world. The sun held lazily in the sky a dark sleepy orange hue, flowers spread across the pasture in vibrant waves of colors unmatched by even the brightest rainbow. The scents of nature formed a ballet of beauty across the winds, the sound of laughter a beautiful melody to accompany the school. "Phst, a boring old pasture?" Sunset giggled up to her teacher, who returned a saddened gaze. "I heard you stopped talking to your friends?" Celestia spoke in a serious tone of regret. "Huh, Bright and Fly?" Sunset scrunched her muzzle with an eye roll. "The best friendships are strengthened by hardships, not torn apart." Celestia smiled at her little pony with a caring sense of maturity to her voice. "Oh, it wasn't a fight CeCe! ~ Those two were just total losers, I mean Bright alone was like four levels under my current standard!" Sunset giggled aloud full of confidence. "Standards shouldn't guide friendships?" Celestia felt taken back by the child's sense of self entitlement. "I'm top of the class, if I'm seen with dorks like them…" Sunset quirked her thin brow curiously, turning to her side to watch her teacher walk away. "It's true!" Sunset yelled out after her in confusion. Celestia hiding a stream of tears rolling down her cheeks. "You offered me everything, yet I was too arrogant to see." Sunset cupped her cheek with her hand in a soft spoken whisper. The pasture now an escape to a memory from long ago, it was odd how something so simple could hold a memory so powerful. Walking down the length of the fence she approached a large trough, crystalline blue water filled to the rim. Her eyes locked into her reflection once more, yet this time she saw a completely different person from before. Sunset Shimmer gazed outside the office window in silence, rain cascaded down the glass surface calmly as the young mare pursed her lips in growing anger. The sound of the office door suddenly opening, as she could hear that blowhard teacher she once admired walk inside. Lightning struck across the bleak grey sky above, the claustrophobic room basked in a pale blue hue from the heavens. Celestia never spoke a word, simply trotting over towards her seat behind the desk to explain herself in a collected manner. "This is about graduation." Celestia spoke up in a loving tone of voice, as if trying to soften the blow of her betrayal. "You embarrassed me!" Sunset pinned her ears back in absolute rage of the moment. "I felt that you were not mature enough to be my protege, not yet." Celestia averted her gaze away from the child who returned a rude loud snort. "What is my magic level?" Sunset grumbled underneath her breath angrily. "That isn't important Sunset, I'll happily invite you back next year." Celestia wanted to change the subject, her student slamming her hoof atop the desk with a loud pop.

Though fell flat at the midpoint. Are You There Twilight? It's Me Twilight! ( Complete But Unpublished.) Twilight Sparkle gazed to the dandelion sandwich on her plate with a melancholic expression. It was lunch and all that was available had to be dandelions. They were the most tasteless of culinary experiences, in fact school lunches in general happened to be lackluster. The young mare needed to study, Celestia's Summer Sun Celebration was on the horizon drawing ever closer. Twilight hoped to make a new breakthrough soon, one that could cement herself as a most faithful student. She wasn't sure why, but the answers dealt with an old mares tale. The Mare In The Moon. Without warning a blinding light filled the dark corridors of her humble astronomy tower. Twilight lifted her hoof to block out the fiery blaze, Spike curled up in his bed after an all nighter snoring away during such an amazing occurrence. "Twilight Sparkle?" A silhouette of an alicorn stepped from the light, her voice that of elegance and eternal wisdom. "Celestia!?" Twilight shielded herself from the light. "No, it is I! You!!" The voice giggled with satisfaction. "Who?" Twilight scrunched her muzzle confused as the light faded back into the abyss, leaving only a gangly long version of herself standing before her. "Sweet Celestia, when did I become anorexic!?" Twilight gasped at such a horrid glimpse into her future. "I'm not anorexic, I'm an alicorn." Her future self spoke in a cocky tone of self superiority. "Uh huh? Does alicorn magic mutate the host?" Twilight jumped off her seat and slowly walked around this odd temporal creature with much interest. Future Twilight glared growing ever annoyed at the foolish child before her. "No, I'm just a tad older!" She swatted away the child as her muzzle scrunched up embarrassed by the inspection. "You're more than just old, I mean my skeletal structure shouldn't enlarge like that?" Twilight shuddered thinking how painful such a change could be. "Just shut up!" Future Twilight snapped as her younger self let a loud horse noise escape her lips in shock. "Whatever, Celestia recolor." Twilight blew a loud raspberry. "Listen, I'm here to help you impress everypony around you." Future Twilight grinned slyly to herself. "Uhh, why?" Twilight gave a stone faced expression. "Because I noticed how simple I acted as a child, especially with this dumb ticket ordeal!" Future Twilight sighed as she slapped her forehead in dismay. "So you're cheating me out of important experiences?" Twilight tilted her head to the side confused. "Well, I rather the future remember me as a perfectionist! Besides you'll still get the gist of everything, just not by looking dumb." Future Twilight let a loud squee escape her lips. "So future me thought it wise to jeopardize the Space and Time Continuum, in order to look more impressive?" Twilight sighed with a true sense of defeat from such callous actions. "I've been so prosperous as a ruler, that I've in fact run out of present problems to look impressive with." Future Twilight flashed a nervous smile. "How is that even possible?" Twilight stumbled over her words. The sickly creature wrapping a boney hoof around her shoulder."Peace, peace everywhere!" She pointed off to nothing in particular in the room. "I've metamorphosed into Mary Sue!" Twilight shuddered at such a bleak future. "You have not!" Future Twilight snorted. "Have we solved every problem we come across?" Twilight swallowed a large lump in her throat. "Yes." "Are we all powerful?" Twilight shivered. "Yes." "Did we simply lock away our villains instead of dealing with them personally, therefore passing up vast amounts of character building?" Twilight felt her chest tighten in fear. "We turned them to stone." "Do I have a rip-off or spinoff version of myself across several universes, neigh one perhaps a chibi version?" Twilight chattered her teeth in despair. "Several." Future Twilight grinned like the corporate husk she had become. "Ahhhh!" Twilight screamed as she darted over the window in terror. "Now let me make you perfect, by extension making myself perfect." Twilight Sue towered over the poor child intimidatingly. "Never, I'd rather live a simplistic life than to risk becoming bland over time!" Twilight's eyes darted over the room for an escape plan. "We're not bland, we own a school." Twilight Sue coughed in a lackluster fashion. "I will not make these horrible mistakes!" Twilight smiled as a truly impressive idea hit her. "You don't have a choice, you're destined to become an Alicorn Princess." Twilight Sue scoffed with satisfaction. "So you think, but you're no longer in your own time!" Twilight puffed out her chest proudly before standing up to her doppelganger. "So?" "This is my time and nothing is set!" Twilight grinned. Future Twilight suddenly widened her eyes in absolute shock of such a rookie mistake. Time travel was indeed such an unforgiving mistress, lashing any pony out of existence if not respectful of her power. "You wouldn't dare, you care too much about impressing those around you!" Twilight Sue tried to light her horn up and cast the return home spell. "Not anymore, in fact I'd rather just make ponies happy." Twilight clapped her hooves together excitedly. "No, my accomplishments!" Future Twilight Sue felt herself vanishing into a dark light, the world around her turning bleak as her whole body started to become transparent and see through. "Twilight The Amazing, or The Incredible!" Twilight let her mind run free with thoughts of traveling around Equestria. "My accomplishments...ments...ments...ments!" Future Twilight suddenly faded into a faint echo of a time forgotten. At that moment Twilight Sparkle felt a new spark of excitement enter her life, the bleak grey walls of her astronomy tower suddenly lit up with the vibrant colors of unknown possibilities. "The Great and Powerful Twilight!" Twilight Sparkle ran over to her full length mirror in excitement beaming from ear to ear. "Twilight, loves the sound of that!" Twilight cantered across the room to wake up Spike, barely able to hold back her excitement. Before she could reach her little dragon friend, she stepped atop the old book of legends and adventures. With a sigh she felt it was time to move on and find something new, with a swift toss the book was sent out the window. A light blue unicorn passing by underneath couldn't help but be pelted atop the head by the falling tome, she rubbed her hoof through a frazzled snow white mane in defeat. She wasn't the most popular of ponies with hardly any real friends, but things just seemed to never work out for one Trixie Lulamoon. "Traveling isn't all it's cracked up to be." Trixie mumbled just knowing that book was going to leave a bump, her eyes falling over the book with a thin raised brow. "The Mare In The Moon?" Trixie felt an odd shiver run down her lower back, the night slowly engulfing the day around her as everything grew dim. Arching her eyes upward to the sky, she could make out the ominous silhouette of a dark creature stretched across the moon. "Oh my!" Trixie bit her lower lip and gathered up the book. Celestia must be warned.
