Chapter 1: The Party IF YOU PROMISE TO STAY, I PROMISE TO NEVER LEAVE Rainstorm was staying in front of the mirror checking herself. Mane? Stylish! Eyelashes? Perfect! Her wings? Fabulous! Her body? Perfect. The almost daily hard workout is doing it's job nicely. She loved to look at herself in the mirror, not she was in love with herself, but she liked what she saw. Some stallions will definitely eye her like candy, like every other time. She made sure that she was looking absolutely perfect before leaving the house. Back in school, a lot of stallions ogled her. But that also meant it left mares to be envious of her. "Are you ready Rainstorm?" Asked her sister, Sunrise, on the other side of the bathroom door. "Yup, I'm ready. I just needed to check everything again." Rainstorm replied. "For the tenth time already? Oh girl come on, we don't have much time left. Our friends are waiting." Said Sunrise. Rainstorm slipped her favorite hoodie on and looked one more time into the mirror. "Perfect!" "RAINSTORM!" Shouted her sister from downstairs. "Yea, yea, I am coming!" She shouted. Doing a once over with her hair, she hurriedly left the bathroom. Going down the steps, she spotted her sister and friends waiting by the front door. "Hey girls!" She said, giving everyone a hug. "Seems like your sister needed some extra time. . . again." Asked one of her earth pony friend. "That's my sister." Said Sunrise with a chuckle. "I always try to imagine, you having a coltfriend. He'd probably go crazy with you. I don't think even all of us take that much time in the bathroom." Said a yellow pegasus, waving her hoof. She then continued, "I still wonder, why you don't have a coltfriend yet. I mean you are so pretty and gorgeous and-" Rainstorm interrupted her before she could continue any longer. "Girls, please not that topic again. I'm single, and I'm happy. I'll wait for the right one." Explained Rainstorm. "Mr. Perfect for Ms. Perfect." The earth pony laughed. Rainstorm only stuck out her tongue in response. "Let's go girls." Said Rainstorm. They arrived on the party at 9pm. The music was loud and a lot of ponies were enjoying their time. Some were already drunk, some were dancing and 'couples' were already making out in some of the back booths. "Ah yeah, this looks so cool!" Said the pegasus. "Too bad my coltfriend can't join us." Said Sunrise. "Where is he?" Asked the earth pony. "He is still at work. He's been working a lot recently, even on the weekends. I'll be so happy once he gets his new job soon. That way I can spend more time with him." Explained Sunrise. "No time for sad feelings or bad thoughts, let us have some fun girls!" Shouted the pegasus. Entering the party, Rainstorm caught two stallions eyeing her up. "Sorry guys, I know, you like my body but. . .I have no interest!" She joyfully said. "Are you sure you. . ." one of them tried to press on but was met with a sharp, "No!" She was now separated from her friends, which she didn't mind. She enjoyed the space. Being all day with your older sister can be. . . tiring sometimes. Rainstorm went to the bar and ordered a drink. While waiting for it, she looked around the club. Eyeing the dance floor, she noted It was to full. Man she loved to dance, but on a full dance floor, the constant bumping messed with her rhythm. "Hello?" Said a female voice. Whipping her head around she was met with a dark blue unicorn. "Lilly?" Asked Rainstorm. "Rainstorm?" She asked. "Hey! It is so nice to meet you again, I haven't seen you in years!" Rainstorm exclaimed. "Huh, guess it has been a while since we saw each other, How have you been?" She asked. "Oh Lilly, thank you, I'm fine. What about you?" Rainstorm asked. "I'm fine too, thank you. You look. . . really good. I remember the last time I've seen you. You always made sure to look good but ... you look ... more adult." She said, scanning her formal school friend. "Yea, I've been doing workouts in my free time. I really like myself you know. Not in the way you think, but I think it's important that you feel good in your own body, only then you cannot show the others your inner beauty." Rainstorm explained. "Yea, I mean, as a mare, I have to say you look really good. My respect!" She said. "Hey Rainstorm? What is going on, why aren't you dancing?" Asked Sunrise. "I was catching up with my former school friend here." Rainstorm explained. "Oh Lilly, right?" Sunrise asked. "You remember me?" Lilly asked confused. "Yea, I haven't seen you before but Rainstorm mentioned you a few times. You both were good friends, right?" She asked. "Yea but after school, we lost touch." Lilly said. "But you found me again. Hey, if you want to hang out with me or my girls, feel free to join." Rainstorm said and gave her a wink. "Oh sure. Thanks. Due to how busy I've been with work, it's hard to make any friends." She explained. "That's what weekends are for. To wind down and have some fun!" Rainstorm explained. "Hey, I'm gonna head back to dancing. Want to join me?" Asked Sunrise. "Later, let me finish my chatting first." Rainstorm said. "Ok. See you later little sis." Said Sunrise and moved back to the dancefloor. "Your bound to have a coltfriend by now, so gossip with me. What's he like?" Lilly said. "You might be surprised but. . . I don't have one." Rainstorm sheepishly said. "What? You? No way!? I mean. . .look at you, you look amazing! I, uh, that is quite the suprise." She said. "Too many 'mental' fillies. I like a real stallion not kids. And I know exactly what I want. I have time. I'm saving myself for the perfect one." Rainstorm explained. "Wow, that is. . . unheard of." She said. "What do you mean?" Rainstorm asked. "A pony saving that all for her special somepony. I mean look at some of them, after this one night stand, they're probably never going to see each other again.." Explained Lilly. "I'm happy I found one. An earth pony. Handsome stallion." She said. "Happy to hear that. But I don't think falling in love here would make good for future stories. Rainstorm said and looked into the crowd. Something. . . no someone grasped her attention. 'What the buck?' She thought to herself. He was tall furless creature. The only hair present was the brown hair on his head. He wore a nice shirt and nice jeans that pronounced his body perfectly. If she needed to give him a number from 1 to 10 it would be a 20. Then the recognition set in. It was Kyle the human, the talk all over Equestria. She'd seen him before in the newspaper but didn't give it to much attention because he lived in the Canterlot palace. She would never see him anyways, or so she thought. He was beyond sexy. He was. . . Rainstorm found no words for him. ". . .ey, are you even listening to me?" Lilly's voice finally seem to reach her ears. "Uh what?" Rainstorm asked, looking back at her. "Are you daydreaming?" Lilly asked. "Yea, I was just. . ." 'looking at that handsome candy over there- oh my gosh, stop it Rainstorm! He's an alien. An alien from another planet! What is going on with you? You don't normally let yourself get distracted by a stallion. . . but he's not a stallion- no! Stop it!' Before her mind can argue anymore, Rainstorm's sister Sunrise appeared again. "Still sitting here? Are you sick? You love dancing." She asked worried. "As I said before, I'm just talking to Lilly here." She explained but found herself looking into the crowd again. "Your sister seems to daydream a lot today. Is she getting enough sleep?" Lilly asked. "What are you looking at anyways?" Asked her sister. She tried to defend herself. "Just into the crowd, nothing else!" 'Where is that boy again. He can't be. . . "Hey, can you make room please, I want to order a drink." Said a husky, male voice. Rainstorm froze. It was him. The human himself. "Oh ehm ... sorry, of course." She said, checking him from head to toe. 'What a handsome looking stallion.' After checking Kyle, Sunrise and Lilly looked at each other and smiled. "I think I found out what she was looking at." Said Lilly. "You gonna tell me, my sister has a crush on the human?" Asked Sunrise confused. "I guess." Both giggled to each other. "Look how she is ogling him." Lilly said. "Me and Lilly here are gonna dance, see you later little sis." Said Sunrise. "Ehm ... yea ... sure!" Rainstorm said. Kyle was waiting for his drink. While he was waiting he looked at Rainstorm and smiled at her. "Hey you, you also waiting?" He asked. 'Did he just really talk to me?' Rainstorm wondered. "I ... uh ... well ... I already have something to drink." Said Rainstorm. "Ah ok. . .hey by the way, you look pretty good, that hoodie fits perfect on you. Don't get me wrong but you look really pretty. I usually don't make compliments to ponies. But you? You seemed to be. . . different." He explained. Oh my gosh did he really ...' Rainstorm thought. "Well, uh, th-thanks. " 'Why am I stuttering, what the hell Rainstorm?! Get your act together!' "Kyle Luck. And you?" He asked. "Rainstorm. Like the rainstorm." She explained. Celestia that sounded stupid. "Yea, you all seem to have weird name's here. Not that they're bad but. . . it's interesting." He explained. "Yea ... thank you." Rainstorm took a sip of her drink. 'Something is wrong with me.' She thought. "Also cool haircut ... eh manecut? You know what I mean." Kyle said. "N-n-n-no not at all. It's fine, you're a really handsome stallion too, to be honest." Rainstorm stuttered. He laughed and Rainstorm was afraid for a moment she said something wrong. "Stallion. You mean man, but I get it." He continued to laugh. "So, you from here? I guess I don't have to explain my story, the entire planet knows it already. But the gist is," Kyle soon started to tell his story. How he popped into Ponyville, went to live with the princesses and all the magic baloogo he experienced in between. It was only recently did he come back to Ponyville. 'Just say something Rainstorm.' Rainstorm thought. "Really? You're also from here? Oh that's great." Rainstorm explained. "So what are you doing here?" "I try to enjoy my time here. I don't really have much to do, except from my job in Twilight's school. I do the paperwork. Nothing special but trust me, there is a lot to do. Seeing as your a pegasus, I assume you mess with the weather?" He asked. "Used to. I canceled my job up in Cloudsdale, and moved here. I have a job as an cosmetician now." Rainstorm said. "Oh, that's why you're so good looking. Seriously, that was my second guess, cosmetician or hair stylist. All of them look pretty!" He said. "Ah, really?" She asked nervously. "Girl, if I have to rate you from 0 to 10, you are definitely a 30." He said and winked. Rainstorm blushed. "Nah, it is not like, hm, thank you, really, that means a lot to me." She said, her cheeks getting redder. "Good to know. You're a funny girl. You look good, you smell good, you have great looking hair, a cool hoodie and ... I'll guess you are also a really nice per ... pony." He said. 'Is this guy really trying to flirt with me? Oh gosh.' Suddenly he starts yawning. "Are you tired?" Rainstorm asked. "Yea, it was a hard Friday. I guess I gonna go home now. Barkeeper?" 'Seems like he is going to pay and leave and he'll never talk to me again. Why do I care anyway?' "Yes?" Asked the barkeeper. "I want to pay for me and for that beautiful girl next to me." He said and winked again. 'What did he just. . .' "No wait, let me-" But he interrupted me. "No chance. I'm paying for you." He said. "Thank you, you are. . . a true gentlecolt." She said. "Gentleman, but yea, thank you. And thank you for that nice little chat with you. I mean every word I said to you. You're a really good looking pony. You are pretty and also the first one to really listen to me. So yeah, thank you again. I hope we'll see each other again." He said and left with a smile. 'So cute, so beautiful, so. . . so. . .' "How was your little chat with the human?" A well known voice interrupted Rainstorms train of thought. "What? Huh?" She asked. "How was your chit chat with your little crush?" Asked her sister. "Crush? No way! I just talked to him. It is not a crush." Rainstorm explained. "Sure, sure. I've been watching you from the other side. You looked at him like you'd rut him the first chance you got." Her sister laughed. "Oh pease. I just talked to a handsome po ... human, that's all." Rainstorm tried to explain. "Uh huh? If you say so. Let's go home little sis, I'm tired. You can tell me about your wet dreams tomorrow at breakfast." She joked. "Oh shush you. All we did was talk to him and-" Sunrise interrupted Rainstorm again. "Looked at him like a little filly that had its first crush. Sounds better? Come on now, let's go home." Her sister said. No way, she needed to see him again. No, she didn't! 'Why? You don't have a crush. Why do you care, he just ... ugh ... Celestia, his smell and his compliments. No! No! No! You are not gonna fall for an alien, that's stranded here Rainstorm!' I thought. Oh gosh was she wrong. Chapter 2: ConfusedSomething has gone wrong. We don't seem to have an archived copy of that chapter.Chapter 3: DinnerFinally! Friday had arrived. Although her shift ended early at 2pm, today felt like it'll last forever! Quickly slipping out of her uniform into her hoodie, she went to leave. "Good bye Mrs. Shallie! See you on Monday!" Rainstorm shouted. Her boss peaked her head out of her office and arched an eyebrow. "Eh, are you in hurry?" Her boss asked. Thinking of a quick lie, she put on a smile. "I Met some mares yesterday, and tonight I'll be having them come over." Rainstorm explained joyfully. "Thought you told me you'd cool it with the parties?" She asked. "Not at all. We'll probably sit around and gossip. But I oughta go now. I'll be seeing you!" She waved as she went towards the front door. Leaving the shop, she heard a faint 'good bye' from her boss. Rainstorm ran home. Yes, she still had quite a bit of time but she was so exited. As she arrived at her home, she looked down at her wings and sighed. "I definitely lived here too long." She muttered to herself. Unlocking the door and throwing her bag in a nearby corner, she looked to where her sister usually sat on the couch. Only she wasn't there. 'Wonder what dirty things her and her coltfriend are doing right now? Wait, if she's in Cloudsdale for the night that means if this date goes well, I can invite him to my little fancy place here.' She smiled and started daydreaming, but quickly got rid of the thought. 'Stop it Rainstorm. It's just a date between two friends. Nothing more.' Going into the bathroom, she turned the knob on the shower and slipped out of her hoodie. She slowly reached her hoof into the shower only to pull it back immediately. 'Hot! Hot! Why do showers got to be so damn hot or so damn cold!' Maneuvering her hoof around the water, she nudged the knob slightly and waited a solid three seconds. After, she reached her hoof into the shower and found it to be just right. Hoping in, she quickly went over her shower routine. Wash the coat at least five times and of course wash her mane and tail three times. Hopping out, she looked over her self in the mirror. 'Ponytail? Nah, too ironic. Twin tails. . . maybe. Hmmm.' Then an idea popped in her head. Grabbing a nearby curling iron, she curled the tips of her mane. She wanted to use this style, but never found a reason for it. After doing her hair, she went to her feathers. Of course they were perfect but a little bit of preening never hurt. Then she started to comb her tail, which was a task and a half by herself. Finally going to her face, she decided some black eyeliner and red lipstick would do. Now it came to what she should wear. After looking through her wardrobe for quite a bit, something finally caught her eye. A short black jacket and long black boots. Grabbing them and putting them on, she looked in the mirror. 'By Celestia! Forget every single girl you have ever met on Earth, Kyle. Look at me, I look hot~!' Looking herself in the mirror. She totally pulled off the sexy look she was going for. Looking at a clock, she still had one hour before she had to go. So, she decided to lay on the couch till seven came around. 'Why do I care so much for him? He's just a friend.'She thought. 'A bucking sexy one. How about we skip all that dinner stuff and we just come over here-' Rainstorm quickly shook her head. 'No! Rainstorm, keep your thoughts together. Stop thinking of such stuff, you damn horny mare. It's just a dinner between two friends. Nothing. More.' 6:30pm finally rolled around. Rainstorm was in the mirror looking herself over again. She had to make sure everything was perfect. Rainstorm left the house and went to Dragons Breath Restaurant. It was like her brain was on auto pilot. A left here, two rights there. Soon, she found herself across the street from the restaurant. She caught eye of her tall date, just outside. He wore a light blue button up shirt, some nice dark blue slacks and a black belt with a gold buckle as a cherry on top. While Rainstorm was observing him from afar, she didn't notice the elderly mare she bumped into. "Watch where you're going!" "Sorry ma'am!" Rainstorm quickly apologized. Finally walking across the street, she greeted him. "Heeeey!" "Hey Rain- holy crap, Rainstorm?" He asked in awe. "Yeah?" "God damn, you look good!" He complimented her. 'I knew he'd like it!' "Really? Thank you! You don't look so bad yourself!" Rainstorm complemented back. A slight red formed on his cheeks which only made her smile more. "Now I feel I dressed for the wrong occasion!" He laughed. "Oh, don't worry about it. You look fine!" She assured him. "Uh, I ordered a room for us." He said pointing towards the restaurant. "Eh, a room?" She asked confused. "Table. I meant table. Sorry, work and all." He corrected himself. 'Sure.' "But let us go! Food is waiting for us." He said, opening the door and gesturing with his hand that she go first. "Oh? A gentlecolt?" She stuck out her tongue at him. He only rolled his eyes and smiled. "I do try. Our table should be over there." He said, pointing the corner of the establishment. Finally sitting down, they both picked up the menu and started to browse. "So Rainstorm, how was your day?" He asked. "It was fine, I guess. But at least it's the weekend." She said. "Yeah." He fell silent. "Where did all your confidence go?" Rainstorm asked. He chuckled. "Well, this is my first time going on a date. Here, I mean. Just kind of overwhelming, you know?" He explained, scratching the back of his neck. She smiled at him. "Well, we'll take filly steps. Like, what are you having?" She asked. "I think I'm gonna go with the pasta. Too bad they have no meat." "Meat?" Rainstorm asked, slightly taken aback. Realizing what he said aloud, he cleared his throat. "Let me explain before things go wrong. So, back on Earth we're the only ones that were sapient, it was ok to eat meat. But don't go thinking I'm gonna eat you. We can also live on greens." "Wow." Was all she could muster. She was just so fascinated by them. "What about you?" He asked. Realizing she didn't pick anything, or really look for that matter, she went for the next best thing. "I'll have what your having." She said. He arched an eyebrow at her. "You sure? The sauce I'm having is going to be pretty strong." After a second of thought, she nodded. "Ok, if you say so." He said. A waiter soon came by and took their orders. After they left, he promptly cleared his throat. "I heard about how you guys control the weather." He said. "Really? Weather?" "What? "I know a lot of stuff we could talk about." She said. "And what exactly?" He asked. "Hmm, tell me about your love life." "Ok, and you get mad at me for asking the dumb question. Fine, but it's a bit complicated." "Yes, keep on..." "You know, back on Earth, I never really had a girlfriend. At least a serious one, at that." He explained. "What? Are you kidding? You got to be bluffing." Rainstorm said. "It's true." He said. "They sound dumb. You're one of a kind! Tartarus, you know how happy I'd be if I had you?" Woops, that last part slipped without her thinking. "Wow, uh, thank you. That means a lot." He said with a light smile. 'By Celestia. He's just so. . . cute! Buck it! I do have a crush on him.' "Well, that's my 'love life' for you. Boring, I know." He chuckled. "Don't worry, it'll get more exciting sooner or later." "Yeah right. Because somepony wants to date a freak like me." He pointed to himself. "Hey, don't treat yourself like that. Just give it time and I'm sure somepony will give you a chance." She explained him. "Thank you Rainstorm. I knew you'd be a good friend." He said and smiled. A thick accent made it's self present. "Here is food! Food top notch in all of Equestria!" A male griffin boasted, setting down their dishes. "Enjoy!" And the griffin promptly left. "I hope it is good?" She asked. "How could it not? Didn't you hear him?" Kyle asked with a smile. Taking a small bite, she couldn't help but almost spit it out. "Celestia! How can you like that?" She asked. "It is fine." Kyle said. "It tasted really good but. . . jeez! It is so strong!" She said waving with her hooves. "Want to order something else? I don't think you're going to enjoy that very much." Kyle said. "Nah, it's. . . it's fine." She still waved her hooves and tears appeared. 'Dragons Breath ... yea definitly.' "I warned you, didn't I?" Kyle said. "I know. . . I think I gonna order a salad." She said. She waved over a nearby waitress and ordered a salad. "Sorry, it tasted really well but. . . this is a bit too much for me!" She said. "It's ok. I'm fine with it. It's not like I'm gonna throw a giant fit over it." He smiled. 'I wish I could spank your little ass for this.' After they finished their meals they both started talking again. "So ... what are your plans this weekend?" Kyle asked. "Not much. What about you?" She asked. "Same. It is quite boring here sometimes. . . although so much happened the last few years. I heard about some stories from Twilight and her friends." He said. An idea popped into Rainstorms head. "You wanted to see me fly, right?" She asked Kyle. She looked up and she swore she could see his eyes sparkle. "Hell. Yes!" "But lets pay for our food first then I'll show you how a real pegasus flies." Rainstorm said smiling. "Are you a good flyer?" Kyle asked. "What kind of question is that? Of course I am!" She laughed. He pulled out a small pouch and asked, "So, how much was the bill?" ". . . why?" She asked hesitantly. "Well, I was gonna pay." He said gesturing to his brown pouch. "No! Not again. You payed last time, this time-" Kyle interrupted her. "I'm not gonna discuss this with you. From where I came from, we payed for the ladies. I'll do the same here. Let me pay for you. It's not to insult you, I just want to be a good friend. So yes, I am paying." He said. ". . .ok, if you really want to, but you don't have to." She said. "Is it different here?" Kyle asked. "Well, it's pretty even here. Both parties usually split the responsibilities. Say, if the stallion pays for the meal, the mare pays for it next time." She explained. "Huh, weird. Well, I'll be paying this time, alright. A mans got to do that for his girl." He said. "Never mind. I'm not gonna win this discussion anyways, aren't I? Also, good to know that I'm your 'girl'." She said and laughed. "Well. . . I guess you are tonight, aren't you." He said, fishing out some bits from his pouch. Unknown to him, a slight blush formed on Rainstorms face. Clearing her throat, she spoke, "Come on my little friend, you wanted to see me flying, didn't you?" 'So sweet!' "I'm coming, I'm coming." He said. Kyle payed for both of them and after that they went outside. It was already dark. Rainstorm was really exited to show off her flying to her friend. But why was she? She showed off plenty of times to other ponies but why is this time different? They went to a little hill not far from the restaurant. It was a nice, as you can see almost the whole town from there. "Ready for seeing a nice flight?" She asked and went ready for position. She went in front of him, getting a bit down her hooves and prepared for flying. She then jumped up into the air and flew. She did a few loops here, a few twirls there. "Damn I forgot how nice flying is!" She said. "Wahooooo!" She shouted. "You sound like someone who hasn't flown for years!" Kyle shouted to her into the air. She then flew a bit lower to the ground and right next to Kyle. She then flew up again, circled a few times and went down again but this time she was closer to Kyle. To close. 'Buck!' "Rainstorm? RAINSTORM!" Kyle shouted and tried to move out of the way. But it was in vain as Rainstorm only seemed to steer into his direction and crashed into his chest. "Omph! Ah fuck, ow!" He groaned in pain. "I am so sorry!" Rainstorm said. "Soft landing points?" "You crashed into me!" Kyle said annoyed. Rainstorm sighed and looked down to the ground to see a Kyle under her. "Oh Kyle, I am so, so, so sorry!" She said. "I'm fine. You didn't kill me, that is a good start." He joked. They both chuckled before he groaned again. "Rainstorm? Don't get me wrong, I know you might be comfortable. But can you please stand up?" Kyle asked. "Oh yea sorry. Ehm." She stood up and Kyle looked at his clothing, checking if anything was damaged. "Ok, that was. . .nice. I guess." He said, smiling. "Idiot. I know you're laughing at me right now. Or at least thinking how bad I was." "Oh Rainstorm, come on, it was fun. I mean, I am still in one piece. It is fine." "Really?" She asked worried. "Yeah. Don't worry yourself to much." "Yeah, I know. Sorry." She couldn't help saying it again. "If you say sorry one more time, I'm gonna bonk you on the head." He joked. They went silent for a moment until Rainstorm started talking again. "So, what are we going to do now? It is already late." She asked. "I don't know. I think I gonna head home for the day. It was a nice evening." He said. 'Yea sure, you just want me to go away, because I hurt you. Rainstorm good job, you bucked up.' "Yea it was." She said a bit sad. "You alright?" Kyle asked. "I. . . nothing." Kyle knelt down so he was at the same height as she was. "Listen Rainstorm, I'm fine. Really. I had a wonderful evening with you. I really do enjoy spending time with you. Alright? Now," He stood back up, "You want to hang again tomorrow? My place?" Kyle asked and smiled. A light blush formed on her cheeks, and then quickly darted in and gave him a peck on the cheek. "Uh, sorry about that. We ponies usually show affection that way. Um, but I oughta go now." She said turning around with a bright red face. "Wait!" Kyle shouted. "Yeah?" Rainstorm asked turning around only to be hugged. "I wish you a good night. Sleep well. I'm looking forward to see you tomorrow. Magic number? 7pm again?" He said still hugging her. 'Can't think. . . clear. . . need to. . . oh Celestia!' He then released her. "Yeah, sure." She said. "See you tomorrow then, Rainstorm." Rainstorm smiled and headed back home. She was lucky, she first thought, she messed up everything with her crash, but she did everything right. It couldn't go better for her. He hugged her. Let's see what the next day is bringing to her. She was exited and happy. Chapter 4: PreparationsToday was the day! Rainstorm is finally going to make her move on Kyle. Of course everything needed to be perfect but; ‘Fuck! Saturdays!’ She wanted to do her mane, tail, and go buy that new makeup Fleur De Lis put out recently. It had to be perfect! How else was she going to make him fall head over heels for her. The party and the date, those were just two friends having a good time. She wanted it to be more than that though. Her thoughts were clear now. She wants him! She wants him now! She wants to feel her hooves all over his chest, to smell his musky scent, to feel his sweet loving fingers grazing over her body. Yes. She wants him badly. She was laying on her bed thinking of the wonderful evening they had last night. The crash landing might have been something that might haunt her for the rest of her life but thinking back on it, it was totally worth it. She laid on him! Looking into his beautiful eyes and rubbing his strong shoulders. And her little kiss on his cheek. She couldn’t help but giggle. But the thought of Saturday crossed her mind and she grumbled. Salons were closed today. She would do it herself but there are certain places she just couldn’t reach. Then an idea hit her. “Lilly!” She remembered Lilly had taken a year in hair styling before promptly changing to a different profession. Maybe she could ask her to do it. With that problem solved, she got up and went to her wardrobe. She knew exactly what she wanted to wear. "Oh, you are going to like this Kyle." She said to herself looking at the best outfit she had in stock. Before pulling it out she shook her head. "No, not yet. I still have time to kill. I could fly for a bit. Make up for lost time.” Walking outside, she took a deep breath of air. It became warmer. Finally. Flapping a few times, she took off. Man, did it feel good to have the air blow through her fur. Mindlessly gliding above the small town, she spotted a familiar grey pony. "Mayor Mare!" Rainstorm shouted, landing down. "Huh? Oh, hello. How can I help you?” "Ma'am, have you seen a unicorn mare, dark blue, ‘round my age?” "Uh, I think I saw a mare like that at Rarity’s boutique. Is she a friend of yours?" The Mare asked. "Yeah, I need to pay her a visit." Rainstorm said. Before she could go, the Mayor stopped her. “Are you by chance a model?” "A model? Me? I wish. Otherwise I’d be living in one of those fancy mansions up in Canterlot." Rainstorm said and laughed. "Well if you're not a model, are you part of some sport. That must have been some rigorous flying if you look this exhausted.” "Exhausted? Me? Nah, that is just my warm up." Rainstorm said proudly. "Are you trying to compete with Rainbow Dash?" The mare asked. "Compete? Ha! There is no competition, her prime days are far gone.” "You better make sure she doesn’t hear you. Anyways, I oughta head home, got a lot of work to do.” The mayor sighed. "Well, good luck on that. Bye!” She waved and took off." After an hour of a hard workout, she finally let herself take a small break. Spotting a tree, she landed underneath it and layed down. She sighed as a cool breeze flowed through her matted fur. She gasped. Looking up and squinting at the clock tower, she could see it was already 11am. Stretching, she flapped her wings a few times, and started to fly home. As she arrived at home, she cleaned up a bit and hopped into the shower. Shower. . . checked. At least one thing was done. Now she needed to visit Lilly. She arrived in front of Lily's house. Rainstorm took a deep breath. 'Let's hope she can help me.' She knocked on the door. After a few seconds a dark blue unicorn opened the door. "Hello Lilly." Rainstorm greeted. "Rainstorm? Hey! It's so nice to see you, I missed ya! We should hang out more!" She said. “Yeah, I’m sorry for not hanging out with you as much.” Said a flustered Rainstorm. "It’s fine Rainstorm, I know how it can be. We need to get these things called ‘cell phones.’ Kyle says it lets you talk to anyone, anywhere instantly." Lilly explained. ‘Mmm, Kyle~.’ "Rainstorm? Hello?" Lilly said, waving a hoof in front of her face. "Huh? Uh y-yeah. Hey, um, this may sound selfish but I heard you had some experience in being a hairdresser. Could you, um, help me out?” She asked, rubbing the back of her head. "Sure, but why?" She asked. "Well listen, I. . . I have a-an appointment? Yes. I have a really important appointment today and since all the salons are closed, well you're the only person I could come to.” Lilly hummed in thought before smiling. "Well come on in!" She said, waving a hoof inside her abode. "Really? Oh Lilly, thank you!” Rainstorm said, walking in. "No problem." She said. "Really? Even after this long time?" She asked quizzically. "Of course. It’d be a great start to catch up on some lost time together.” "Thank you again. Really, it means a lot to me." Rainstorm said. "But only under one condition!" Lilly said. ‘Damn it, I knew there was a catch.’ "Uh ... ok?" "Tell me Rainstorm. 'Who' is the lucky one?" She said, wiggling her eyebrows. "Lucky one? What? Pfft, this mare-” "Then can’t do your mane. Hey listen, you always have been a really bad liar. Tell me who it is." She said, circling her like a predator. "Lilly, seriously. There is nopony-” "You're right. But rather. . . someone.” She giggled. "Lilly, please. Can you just do my mane?” Rainstorm pleaded. "You know I can’t do that without an honest answer. I’ve seen you two being lovey dovey at the mall. Hohm...Those wonderful eyes, Celestia, I’ve even been wondering what he looks like without the clothes. My oh my, I can understand why you want him." Lilly said giggling maniacally. Rainstorms face went beet red at her words. „We weren‘t lovey...“ "Huh, I almost find it ironic how he’s getting you all worked up like this. The little playmare now nothing but putty in the ‚hands’ of an extraterrestrial being." Lilly said and smiled. "Ok! Fine, yes I do have a little crush on him. That’s. . . that’s why I came to you. I need to look perfect for him.” Rainstorm said. "Rainstorm, you know you don’t need to. You're beautiful with the way you are now! He liked you before and he will like you now. But if you're still doubtful, I’ll still help you out.." Lilly nodded. "Oh thank you, thank you, thank you!" Rainstorm said. It was about to be two hours since Lilly started to work on Rainstorm. "Damn girl, thank Celestia I’m hetero. You have a really sexy body, you know that?" She said. "Oh no! The flattery! It’s killing me! Bleh." Rainstorm joked. While she was working on her wings, Rainstorm started to talk about her dinner with Kyle last night. "Dragons Breath huh? And my little Rainstorm thought to have some of that strong sauce, huh?” She gave her an all knowing smile. "Uh shut up!" Rainstorm said and laughed. "The poor guy. Goddess above, are you sure he’s safe with you?” "Nah, he is a strong guy. He can handle it." Rainstorm said. "And we are done!" Said Lilly. Rainstorm looked into the mirror. "Oh gosh, Lilly, you. . . I have no words! I. . . thank you so much!" Rainstorm said, checking herself out in the mirror. "Oh come here, Lilly.” Rainstorm got out of her seat and gave her a hug. "Aw, no big deal, Rainstorm." She said. Stepping back, she cleared her throat. "So, how much do I owe ya?" She asked. "Oh, nothing. But what you can do is maybe to invite me to a lunch, or a dinner. And maybe,” She wiggled her eyebrows, “Maybe let me see what's underneath, huh? I’m but most curious.” She giggled "Oh Lilly. You are like a little filly but. . . fine. I’ll tell you after.” "Wait, are you actually planning to have-" Rainstorm interrupted her. "In due time my friend. First, I gotta mark him as mine!" She said in a husky voice. "That's the mare I know." Lilly said. "Again, thank you so much Lilly. I owe you one." Rainstorm said. "Can’t wait to hear your story." Lilly said and winked. "Goodbye Lilly." "Bye." Lilly said and waved. Shower - checked. Mane, fur, wings, tail - checked. The only thing that was left was her face. She wanted to wear a little bit of makeup. Rainstorm was never the pony that wore a lot but she wanted to look special. But how should she do that? To bring out the maximum with just a little bit? Yes she knows how to treat her customers wishes but by herself. Maybe her boss Mrs. Nelly maybe? But her boss? On Saturday? "I need to try it." She said to herself. After a bit of flying, she landed in front of her boss’s front door. She knocked. "Yes, hello? Uh Rainstorm? What brings you here?" She asked her coworker. "Mrs. Nelly I need your help, please!" Rainstorm pleaded. "Of course dear, how can I help you?" She asked. "I know I am a cosmetician by myself but ... I want to ... I want to max out everything that is possible, but with just a little bit you know? I want just a little makeup to bring out the best of me. Can you do that?" She asked. "Uh, sure. Please, do come in.” "Just go into the living room, I'm gonna get my stuff together." She said. Rainstorm sat on a white luxurious chair planted next to the couch. "You're lucky I wasn’t at a meeting today young filly, or you’d be in big trouble." She said walking and sat down in a chair across from her. "Thank you Mrs. Nelly, you’re doing me a huge favor." Rainstorm said. "No problem dear, but can I ask why are you looking so. . . dressed up today?" She asked. "I ... I'm gonna meet somepony. A stallion." She said. Fighting a bit with herself to tell her boss the truth. "Oh, intriguing. But that's not all that matters you know?" "What do you mean?" Rainstorm asked. "I'm gonna help you for sure and I am happy to fulfill your wishes. But you know, true beauty comes from inside. All of this won't help you if you don’t know how to treat them right." She explained, smiling. "I know Mrs. Nelly but, I want to make sure that he likes me ... outside and inside. He knows me and-” "So he knows what kind of pony you already are. I think you are going a little bit crazy all about it. Am I correct if I guess this is your first crush?" She asked. "No, you’re not." “I see. Well, let us begin." After almost an hour she was done with her work. "So dear, here’s the moment." She said and showed her the mirror. Rainstorms eyes went big. She was ... truly amazed what her boss did to her. "Mrs. Nelly, it is ... it is ..." She then smiled and looked at her. "It is better than I hoped it would be. Thank you so much!" She said. "I am always happy if my customers are happy. I’m sure your little coltfriend will love it." She said. Rainstorm went a little bit red. "I sure hope so!" Rainstorm said, getting even redder. "Thank you again Mrs. Nelly." She said and shook her hoove. "You are welcome dear." "Do you think he’ll like it?" She asked. "Dear, if a self critical pony like you is liking it so much, he will love it. Now go out there and get him." She joked. "I’m the only one for him. Nopony else!" She said in a serious tone. "I am happy for you. I wish you the best for your date." She said "Thank you again. See you on Monday." Rainstorm said. "See you there." She said. She arrived at home. She went up to her room. The only thing that was left, was her dress. She took it out of her cupboard. She put it on. After everything was done. She looked into the mirror. She was wearing a stunning silky, short red dress, her brown mane was brushed and waved to the end of course with her typical purple stripe in the middle. Her grey fur, and brown tail were luxuriously combed. Her eyelashes and eyebrows were deep black. Her lips were a gorgeous rose colored red and she wore a golden necklace. "You will ... no you cannot resist me Kyle Luck. You cannot!" She said confident to herself. It was 6:30pm. It was time to leave. It was time to face her secret crush. Chapter 5: FriendsKyle was sitting on his couch scrolling through his phone gallery. He was looking at a photo of him and his friend, Alex, at the beach. A sad smile graced his lips as he remembered their time there. Swiping right, he landed on one of the last photos he had of them. Before coming to this world, he had lost his parents to an unfortunate car wreck. If he could go back in time to bake with his mother or crack a cold one with his old man one last time, he would. Kyle was here for about a year now. Although he had to give up his old life to come here, at least it wasn’t half bad. Just wishing the ponies had some of the luxuries he had back home. Video games, internet, movies. Man did he miss the movies. Yes, ponies here also had movies but it was nothing like a good ‘ole Hollywood movie. They knew what electricity was but had no use for it. ‘Fuckin’ why!’ Then he started to think about the world in general. Equis might look all happy but don’t let that fool you. He read about the events that transpired. Evil dark horse lady, bug lady and the communist time traveling lady. Thank the heavens he didn’t have to deal with that time traveling comunist. Princess Twilight told him that somepony might even try to take him for their own benefits. . . which he isn’t entirely opposed to the thought of a little young lady. Putting down his phone, he sat up and looked out the window to the sunset in the distance. The weather finally got better. Those damn weather ponies had it raining for the past day or two. He threw himself on the couch again. Even after a year, ponies still feared him. Why? They fought so many crazy monstrosities. 'Look at Discord. He looks like a. . . what the hell is he?’ A series of three knocks sounded at the door. Standing up from the couch, he went to the door and opened it. It was his friend, Pico. He was an earth pony with a light orange coat with a brown mane, and a hammer as his butt mark-er. . . cutie mark. "Hey, Kyle!” "Sup, Pico.” "How’s it been?" Pico asked. "Good, good. The damn weather ponies need to cool it with the rain." Kyle angrily glared up at the sky. "Couldn’t agree more. May I come in?” "Sure." Kyle said, stepping to the side to let the stallion inside. Once Kyle closed the door, he turned around to see Pico arching a brow at him. "Why are you looking at me like that?" Kyle asked. "Aren’t you going to offer me a drink or something?" “Do I have to?" "You are a horrible host, you know that?" Pico said. "Oh shut up. I’m not the one barging in on his friend’s home without warning." Kyle said. Scoffing, Pico sat down. "So, how’s your day been treating you?" Pico asked. "It was alright I guess. The children don’t flinch at me anymore. You?” "Just work. With the weather clearing up now, we can do a lot more now." Pico explained. "Mhm.” Kyle soon found the floor to be really interesting. "Whatcha thinkin about?" Pico asked. "Well. . . ugh. I still sometimes wonder how I got here.” He said, looking up at Pico. "Oh this conversation again. You just gotta wait, man. I’m sure the princesses will kick your monkey ass back to your alien planet." He said reassuringly. "And here comes the problem. I don't really know if I should return or stay here. It's like an inner conflict, you know. I want to go back but. . . I made a good life here." Kyle explained. "Well, I can’t make that decision for you, but. . . if you do go back. . . I’ll miss ya." "Yeah well, I miss my friends, driving my car, hell even waking up early to go to a dead end job. . . ok maybe not but at the same time, everything is so much easier here." "Well, how about you do a list? Like, write down the pros and cons of each world. Then, it’ll probably make it easier to choose.” He said. Kyle stared at him in disbelief for a few seconds. "Yes, just let me make a little fun list about which world I want to stay in. Thank the heavens there isn’t anything at stake here.” He deadpanned. “So does that mean you’re gonna try it?” Kyle dipped his head into his hands and let out a long tired sigh. “No, you dingus.” Both sat on the couch as an awkward silence fell upon them. "Can I ask you something?" Kyle asked, looking back up. "No." Pico said and shook his head. "I hate you sometimes, you know that?" Kyle said. His friend only chuckled. "Fine. What is it." He asked. "Do you know a mare named, Rainstorm? Grey coated, wears a hoodie?" Kyle asked. "Um, yeah I think. Pretty sure I went to school with her?" "Huh really? What was she like?" Kyle asked. "Eh, not much but I do know one thing. Her and her sister were inseparable. They even went to the bathroom together." "What did they do in there anyways?" Kyle asked. "Don’t know, but they had quite the reputation of delinquents. Playing hooky, rumors of drinking, even fights. Hit a poor stallion. Jeez, she was a bitch.” He said, shaking his head. "She hit a stallion?" Kyle asked. "Yep, he wanted to go on a date with her she denied. Then he tried to touch her and boy, I don’t think I’ve seen a slap so hard." "So she sounds. . . popular." Kyle simply asked. "Don’t get me wrong, she can be really nice. As long as you’re not on her bad side, you should be good. As I said before, I haven't talked much to her." Pico said. "Do you think. . . somepony like her can have interest in me?" Kyle asked. "Don’t think she’s into monkeys." Pico joked. "Hey, you jackass.” Kyle laughed. "As a friend, I don’t think you got a chance with her. Why? Have you met her?" He asked. "Well, we met with her a few times. Took her out to dinner recen-” Pico interrupted him. "Wait, hold up. So you, a strange monkey from another planet, is telling me that you went eating with Rainstorm? We’re talking about the same one right? The one with the brown mane and that purple stripe, yes?" "Eh, yeah. . . that one.” "And she accepted?" Pico asked, confused. "Well yeah. She seemed really enthusiastic actually.” Pico just sat there and gave him this ‘What the hell?’ look. "How in Celestia did you hook up with such a hotty!?“ He shouted, jumping from his sitting position. "I don't know. I just kinda. . . asked her.” "Did you offer her something?" Pico asked. "No? We went to a restaurant, and had a good time. That’s it and yea that was interesting. She asked me a lot, she also wanted to know more about my love life. . . which was a bit weird.” "Aha, ok?" Pico said. "And she had a really nice outfit.” Kyle smiled. “She may like her hoodie, but she has a knack for clothing. So that means nothing.” "I know, I don't think she is interested. But hey, she’s nice company.” He said, slightly smiling. "Hey, don't fall for her. She is no good. She’s a playmare. Keeping quiet and striking at vulnerable stallions, such as yourself.” He pointed at him. Kyle only raised an eyebrow. "Really?" "Rainstorm and Lilly always wanted to fit in at Canterlot. And you’re perfect gossip to get her there. I can see the news headlines now. ‘Mare Dating Alien!’” “O. . . k?" Kyle said. "Do you like her?" He asked. "I like her, sure, she’s really nice. A good friend for sure.” "So are you going to see her again?" He asked. "Eh, yes. I invited her to my place." Kyle said. "Really?” "Yeah. I thought we hit it off pretty well, well. So why not." Kyle explained. "You never invited me!" Pico complained. "You always invite yourself." Kyle pointed to him. "Right but ... I mean, it is none of my business. But be careful. I don't know what she wants from you. I hope she isn’t using you for her own benefits." Pico said worriedly. "I hope so too. I’m just using this as an opportunity to know some mares if I can’t return. You catch my drift?” "I totally understand your situation. But don't let other ponies use you, aight." Pico explained. "Don't worry that won't happen." "Again, it is your life. You can meet, date whoever you want. But don't say I didn’t warn you. Maybe you’re right and she isn’t that bad. I only told you my expressions of her. I haven't seen her for years, maybe she’s changed." "She made a good first impressions on me." Kyle said. "As I said, it is your decision. Thanks for letting me in but I oughta go now." Pico said. "Yeah, I have to wake up at six again too. Wish you a good night and I’ll see you soon." Kyle said. "Good night to you too. Well and think about my words. You know the decision when they find a way to bring you back home." He said. "I will goodbye my friend." "Good bye!" It was already Wednesday. Friday came closer and also his 'date' with Rainstorm. All the words his friend told him made him a bit unsure about her, but he also thought about the words of him about that 'Going back to Earth' topic. He should sleep at night about all this. Let's see what the rest of the week is holding for him.

Chapter 3: DinnerFinally!
