Sunset Shimmer, visiting Equestria for Hearth's Warming Eve, ponders her life, the changes in the world around her, and how much different her life through the portal is. Taking a break from one of Princess Celestia's party, she stares out across the Equestrian plains and thinks. And is shortly joined by an unexpected, but not unwelcome guest.
