In a brilliant, beautiful, chaotic blast of magic, a new being was born. It was of Discord's own design, so it was elegant, simple, and utterly terrifying....well...at least it would be when it grew up. For now it was just a small black filly resting on the ground.

Even he had to admit that she was adorable: Her sleek black shell, her sea green mane and tail, the little fangs in her mouth. The apex parasite that he created, and he made her just because he could.

"Wake up, little one." The mismatched deity called quietly to his sleeping monstrosity. The little ball of black did little than squirm, after a second thought, he decided that was a good thing, he wasn't done yet. He needed to make her more....gross. Yes, that was the word. Gross. With a snap of his giant lion paw his creation was given a horn and two fluffy pegasus wings, after all she needed to be equipped to terrify ponies of all species. Something was off though, the fluffy wings didn't look right. Discord crossed his arms and nodded his head, changing her wings into something more insect like, ponies hated big bugs. But...she still looked cute, something needed to be done about that, the God of Chaos closed his eyes and wiggled his nose, holes appeared in his creation's legs and horn, it made her look like she was evil, or at least sinister. "Now, you may wake up."

He was sure to keep his voice calm. He couldn't control the little one's reaction, so he had to be as clam as possible. He was rewarded with her tiny head uncurling and her shiny body stretching out. What sounded like a tiny yawn came from her mouth.

"Why, hello there." The green maned head was brought about to look up at him, reptilian eyes looked at him curiously. "Well? Go ahead, speak."

"H-Hi..?" Her squeaky voice came out, unpracticed, unsure.

"There we are!" His wings flapped once and he hovered above her. "Good to know this time you can actually talk.." His mind was drawn back to previous....experiments. Chimeras, Manticores...a quick shake of his horned head drove those thoughts away.

"Wh-Who are you..?" The little filly, he decided to call her that because her appearance was Equine in nature, stood on her shaky legs and backed away from him.

"Who am I? Who am I?" he put his eagle claw to his chest in mock hurt. "Why, don't you recognize your dear old daddy Discord?"

"D-Daddy Discord..?" She shrunk back further. Discord just facepalmed.

"Right, Daddy. Discord. I'm your dad, you're my daughter. I take care of you, you follow my every word...at least I think that's how parenting works...." he tapped his chin once, then decided he didn't care what others thought a good parenting strategy was. He was Discord. It didn't matter what others thought.

"O-Okay..." She stood up straight, a little more comfortable now. "If you're Discord....who am I..?"

"Hmm...I actually haven't thought of that." He tapped his chin. "I'll come up with one later, for now, I have something very important to give you.." The little filly's eyes lit up, she smiled at the prospect of a present like any other child would. "The gift...of magic.." He opened his giant lion paw, a pulsing green blob of magic sat in it. He had taken awhile...well..what seemed like awhile in his head. It was really only a few minutes to create the right set of powers.

"Ooh." Her shiny, hole filled hoof reached out to it. Discord let her. When she made contact with it, it seemed to seep into her body, binding to her very soul. It reminded Discord of back when the world was new, when he and the royal pony annoyances got their powers. Such a pure and innocent thing....just waiting to be corrupted by the world. But that's why she was made, not to be corrupted, but to corrupt further. It was his job to do so, and now it was also hers.

"DISCORD!"

The call rang out all through Equestria, right from the top of Mt.Canterlot itself. Celestia was ready to challenge him once more, and he was ready to show her why he was called a God again. He turned his gaze back to the filly, who had taken residence under his tail to hide from the loud sound. What could he do with her? He couldn't just leave her in this cave of his, no. That's not proper. He would give her a home that he would bend the very laws of reality so she could thrive in it.

So, he picked her up, and with a snap of his talons they were away. Where they reappeared was a little slice of heaven that he was going to turn into his kingdom once he was done with Celestia, the ponies called it the Badlands. It was bleak, orange colored rocks and sand, barely any life could sustain itself. It was a hostile environment....a perfect place to raise a little filly!

He sat her down.

"Now...uh.." He still hadn't given her a name. "You. I need to go teach a very annoying pony a lesson, now I'll be back shortly, trust me." He patted her head with his lion paw, which earned him a nuzzle in return, and off he went to deal with Celestia.

The little filly plopped down and waited.....and waited...and waited...and waited. Night came, and her daddy didn't return. The sun rose, and still her daddy didn't return. She was getting worried, he did say he was going to be right back...and he promised! That meant he had to come back!

Later that day, her stomach growled. She was hungry, and her daddy hadn't returned to feed her, so she set off in the dusty place he left her in to look for food. Sure, she saw a few scraggly looking bushes and some beautiful flowers, she tried one, but decided they were yucky. Then she saw it.

The Biggest

Most Ginormous

Most delicious looking family of furry creatures she'd ever seen. They were small, they had floppy ears, little ball looking tails, and big feet. She wasn't sure what to call them, but they looked appetizing. Two of them were chewing on some desert grass, she crouched far away from them, watching them. When they moved, so did she. She followed them to a small hole in the ground where they went in. She looked in and only saw darkness.

"Aww.." her stomach growled at her hungrily. She was really looking forward to the little creatures, so she sat right above the hole and waited. She was good at waiting now, she'd done it for her whole life at this point. Her tail whipped back and forth behind her in anticipation for her meal.

Her green eyes focused on the entrance until finally a head poked out. She quickly reached out and grabbed it, its head slipping in one of the holes in her leg. It squirmed and squeaked, trying to get out, but she had it now. She bared her fangs in a wicked smile, she was hungry. But before she could take a bite, her horn started glowing, she wasn't even aware she had a horn!

A stream of green magic connected with the small creature she was holding, she could feel its life dwindling, but also her stomach filling. She felt considerably less hungry, but also a lot more tired. The shriveled corpse in her hoof fell into the dust, and so did she. A little filly needed her sleep, she was no exception. As she drifted off, she had thoughts of her daddy coming back and them forming a happy family together.

There she would wait...wait for her father to come back and rescue her.
