Within the Everfree forest things are not quite like the rest of equestria. Nature is as nature does, beasts run wild and monsters lurk behind the trees. As one family discovers nature is not all that caring, nor kind. And while the glow of the moon might be soft and uplifting, it can at times bring light to the true horrors of the world and the cruelty of nature

Statement: This story is not my usual writing, it's not a series to be continued, it was a short writing I did in maybe an hour, likely less, due to overwhelming feelings of negativity and loneliness. If you like it like it, if you hate it hate it, if you don't care then you don't care, because it at least did it's job of making me feel less upset
