A little space isn’t a problem... right?
Rainbow couldn’t help but wonder what lied on top of the moon. It should be exciting, isn’t that why Princess Luna sent them there? As she sat in the rocket, she looked to her friend Twilight.
“Why can’t we just teleport up there?” Rainbow asked with impatience.
“Because whatever is up there prevents us from using magic up there in anyway. Even then, it’d cost a lot of energy to teleport such a distant.”
“Oh ok... well that’s a shame. When is the rocket going to-“
“Hey guys! The rocket is finally launching!” said Spike, Twilight’s companion.
“Hey, Twi, why is Spike even here?” Rainbow asked.
“I told him it was too dangerous, but he insisted.”
“Classic Spike.”
“Hey!” Spike said.
The rocket flew up into the air. Twilight was frightened, but Rainbow was loving it! Spike was just excited, that’s all.
The rocket rumbled and shook as it took off-
Suddenly the rocket was out of fuel.
“Sorry!” said the fuel pony down below.
“Are you serious?!?!” yelled Rainbow.
After a few... short delays... they took off!
Off they flew, faster than the speed of sound as they broke out of the atmosphere!
“Whooooooohooooooo!” yelled Rainbow, but that yell was never heard over the sounds of the Rocket.
“Whaaaaaat????!!” yelled Twilight.
Okay maybe slightly...
“She just yelled whoohooo!” Spike said to Twilight.
OKAY fine they heard Rainbow.
Finally, the rocket landed and they got off in their space gear.
All around them was not what you would normally find. There were plants! Yeah, you heard me, PLANTS.
They walked around examining the weird plant things. They could see a pink plant shaped like coral on the wall. It was surprisingly soft. In amazement, Rainbow went over to touch it.
“Hey! Don’t touch that! We have no idea what it is or what it can do!”
“Ugh, fine...” sighed Rainbow.
Secretly, she took a sample and stuffed it in her pocket. She had brought her bag with her. So had Twilight.
While Spike looked around, he stepped on a vine. You may wonder, why is this bad? You’ll find out.
Suddenly, the ground started to shake and everyone fell through the floor into the middle of the moon. Luckily they landed on something soft and squishy... and slimy???
“Eeeew, what is this stuff?” Spike said.
“I was gonna ask the same thing,” Rainbow said, covered in the slime, “Yuck.”
“Ooh! Time to get some samples!” Twilight exclaimed excitedly.
Rainbow cleared her throat.
“Oh, right... sorry.”
They continued walking when a gigantic monster, the size of 5 buses, covered in slime, that looked like something straight out of ghostbusters, came out of the slime.
Everyone was shocked and too scared to move.
That’s why the monster had the first hit.
“Ow...” Rainbow groaned in pain.
“I think I broke my arm...” Spike said.
Twilight groaned in pain, “My magic is useless here. We should get out of here.”
And getting out of there they did.
They climbed up the wall faster than spider man. Don’t ask me how, with their hooves, they just did.
They scrambled to the rocket and blasted- oh wait I forgot. They need to start the engine.
The monster thing wasn’t far behind. In fact, it just moved on the wall. No effort needed. It just did.
Fortunately, Twilight already started the engine as the monster got to the top.
“Time to blast off!” Rainbow said.
The rocket took off! But then lit on fire... oh no.
Apparently, someone rigged the ship with explosive fuel. That was bad, of course.
Suddenly, Twilight remembered the pony refueling the ship. That pony... or whatever it’s called... they rigged the ship!
“I think the refueling pony rigged the ship!” Twilight said.
“I can tell, Twi!”
Luckily, the explosion boosted them towards the Earth.
What was not so lucky, was that they were going incredibly fast with no landing gear...
“WE’RE GOING TO CRAAAAAASHHH!!!” Rainbow screamed.
In the meantime...
“When are they going to be back?”Luna asked Celestial.
“They will be back in time, sister.”
“Is that a meteorite?”
In the distance, far far away, there was a flaming ball.
“Not our problem. That thing is landing outside of Equestria.”
“If you say so, sister.”
In the rocket...
“DON’T YA THINK CELESTIA OR SONEPONY WOULD’VE NOTICED US BY NOW?” Rainbow yelled.
“YEAH... IT’S WEIRD THAT NO ONE HAS NOTICED US YET.”
“SHOULD WE-“
CRAAAAASSHHH!! BBBAAAAAAANG!!
“... Twi..? Hello...? Help!”
Rainbow had woken up in the middle of a forest in pain. It was a miracle she survived. She was about to see that. She had a giant piece of metal on her, crushing the air out of her lungs.
She tried to get out.
“Ow!!!!” Rainbow yelled in pain.
“It hurts so much... please... if anyone’s out there, please help...” Rainbow sobbed.
Her eyes slowly closed and she fell asleep.
Later that day... Twilight woke up to the sound of crying.
“Twilight? Twilight?! Twilight! Don’t leave me, please!”
Twilight slowly opened her eyes to see Spike hugging her fiercely.
“Huh...?” Twi groaned in pain.
Luckily for them, they weren’t underneath any rocket remains. They still broke a lot of bones though.
“Twilight?! Oh thank goodness you’re okay!”
“Yeah, thank goodness,” that’s when she remembered a certain rainbow haired pony, “where’s Rainbow?!”
“I don’t know... I looked for her, but all I could see was rocket remains.”
They both sobbed on the ground for a while and slowly fell asleep.
The next day...
Rainbow woke up in a hay bed.
“Where am I...?” Rainbow asked herself.
Magically, Rainbow was healed almost completely.
“Huh..? How long was I out?” Rainbow said, amazed by the fact that she was fully healed.
She got out of bed and noticed the world around her... it was... beautiful! There were flowers growing everywhere and animals flying and walking all over the place. It was paradise. There was a waterfall near them and there were fluffy clouds in the sky. For a moment, Rainbow didn’t want to leave. That’s when she remembered her friends.
“I got to go... goodbye paradise.”
“Wait!” a mysterious voice said. It was an alicorn.
“Who are you?!” Rainbow yelped.
“I am the one that healed you. My name is Raindrop.”
Raindrop had Rainbow waving hair and dark blue fur.
“How’d you heal me so fast? How long was I out?”
“All your questions will be answered shortly. Come with me, I prepared us some tea.”
“So,” Rainbow began as they sat down, “how did you heal me?”
“I simply used the root you had in your bag. Incredibly rare. I used it to make a liquid that fully heals the body! ... With some side effects of course.”
Rainbow eyed her, “What kind of side effect?”
“It depends... Sometimes it can be good. Other times, bad. If you’re lucky enough, you’ll have no side effects.”
“So... it’s just random...?”
“Basically. I never got your name,” Raindrop said, sipping her tea.
“The name’s Rainbow Dash.”
“I swear I’ve heard that name before... oh wells.”
“Hmm, I think I’ve heard of your name too... like something in the very back of my mind... I can’t seem to remember...”
“Me too... oh well, it’s not that important. If you ever want to come back here, feel free. Other than that, feel free to leave.”
Rainbow sipped her tea.
“One last question. How long was I out?”
“Less than 12 hours.”
“Wow! That’s fast!”
Rainbow took another sip of tea.
“Anyway, the tea was good, thanks for your help.”
“No problem.”
“I promise I’ll pay you back, but I need to go find my friends.”
“Do what you need to do, Rainbow. Good luck! Tell your friends I said hi!”
“Will do, Raindrop! Cya!”
And with that, Rainbow left.
