After the Battle

(Sunset on)
When Adagio spoke to me it was like I woke up, Shimmer came back into my consciousness and I became myself again. I feel the wings disappearing and the damn wounds forming in place and suddenly I notice that I am holding hands with Adagio, it was like the Fall formal, I made the same mistake and this time I seriously hurt someone.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean for that to happen"
I say crying and notice my hands are stained with blood, my mother's blood.

"Hey, it's okay Suny!"
Adagio says and hugs me, I cry on her shoulder, she knows that this situation has touched me.

"Sunset...."
My mother says, trying to ignore the pain, and touches my shoulder. I look at her face and see the damage I've done.... There is a total of 8 relatively deep cuts on her face.

"Mom I'm sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you like that"
I say and hug myself

"It's okay, Sunset, it was my fault, now I see that the Sirens deserve a second chance and I approve of you dating Adagio."
My mother says and hugs me

"Mom this is my girlfriend Adagio, Adagio this is my mother, Celestia."
I say temporarily stopping crying

"Thank you for saving me Adagio."
My mother says holding Adagio's hand

"It was nothing Celestia, now you better take care of those cuts"
Adagio says.

"Really... That doctor who helped you..."
Celestia says Celia comes down

"There I am Celestia. Luckily I brought suture material."
Celia says she asks Flash to take the stuff down and starts suturing, it took about half an hour and when she finished I was worse than I already was. In all eight cuts there are lines and blood, the white skin is stained red, she will be scarred and it's my fault, I feel horrible.

"Do you want to sleep here?"
I ask because of the time

My mother asks

My aunt says

My mom asks

I say

"Okay, just in case, that's Ray (I say, referring to the lizard on my shoulder), the snake on Adagio's neck is Jade. The ferret that liked Starlight is actually Sonata's, his name is Snow and the hawk that is looking at Philomena, his name is Dark."
I introduce our animals

Everyone keeps talking until I decide to go to the bathroom.

"People, I'm going to the bathroom real quick."
I go to the bathroom of my room. Inside I remove my jacket and see my scars, take my knife and place the blade on my left arm and make a cut I feel my skin tearing and blood flowing, remembering my mother's face I start to make a series of cuts, a total of ten cuts. I feel a relief at the moment but then the pain comes, what the fuck did I do? This shit is going to get infected, argh shit. Sunset why did you do that you idiot! In theory I need stitches in some of the cuts but I can't reveal that to Adagio, Aria, and Sonata. I know it will be worse if they find out on their own but I don't have the guts to tell them so...
Life goes on, I get a black cloth to wipe off the blood and put on my jacket and go back to my family while Aria makes dinner and Adagio and I sit on a couch,Starlight Trixie, my mom and aunt sit on a bigger couch and Twilight and Flash sit on a chair while Sonata is on the carpet playing with Snow.
We talked about Equestria and our plans for the future, at which my mother told me that she is engaged to Discord. I congratulated her and she said something that touched me very much. She wants to get married a week after she finds out if she is going to have a grandson or a granddaughter. Adagio and I were very surprised and agreed that she was present on the day of the ultrasound.

The next day my family from Equestria went back there (including Flash.)

One Week later...
Today I have an important test to take at Canterllot High, I haven't been to school for five months so Adagio, Aria and Sonata helped me to study. Actually I went to school very early to talk to the principal Celestia and to the vice-principal Luna about the Dazzlings and that I am dating Adagio, but that day I didn't see the rainbows, that is me and my "friends" haven't seen each other for five months. And in those months none of them have texted me or called me even to know if I am alive....
