Leon, Diamond, and Ashley arrived to an area with a small building and large door ahead. There was also a cliff to their left. They ignored the building and walked up the the door. Leon tried the door but couldn't get it open. There was a design of a face in the middle of the door with a red left eye.

Suddenly a red light shined out of the eye and onto Leon's eye. He took a step back in surprise but allowed the light to continue. After a few seconds it shut off. Leon tried the door again but it was still locked.

Diamond seemed slightly worried “What was all that about?” she asked.

Leon rubbed his chin in thought “Looks like a retinal scanner. The door will only open when it see's a certain person's eye.” he explained.

“So do we just find a villager and use them?” she asked.

Leon shook his head “We would probably need someone more important.” he turned to a path to his left “Let's forget about that for now. We'll search this way first.” he said.

The others agreed and they walked down the path. They ended up at a metal structure right next to the cliff. It had lifts moving from that structure to a similar one on a lower and farther cliff. The lifts were bare bones with no walls and rusted metal.

Ashley stared at the horrible state of the lifts “Are we going to have to ride those?” she asked hoping that they wouldn't.

Diamond looked just as wary “For once I'm with her. I wouldn't trust those with anything, let alone my life.” she said.

Leon walked up to the the entrance to the lifts and watched as they were passing him “we're gonna have to trust them since we can't get through the door. This is our only option.” he said.

With a sigh Diamond and Ashley hesitantly joined Leon by the lifts. They all walked onto one as it passed by. Other then a few creaks, the lift seemed to be holding their weight pretty well. They started moving towards the other cliff.

They noticed that some villagers got on the lifts on the other cliff and started making their way up. One villager threw a hatchet their way. Leon grabbed Ashley and forced her to duck with him as the hatchet sailed over their heads.

Diamond shot him in the head causing him to fall over the edge. Leon stood up and shot two others causing the same to happen to them. Diamond saw more coming up on the lifts “Of course they would attack while we're on this hunk of junk.” she growled.

Leon aimed for another shot but stopped when their lift started shaking. He looked up to see a villager on top with a hatchet trying to destroy the joint. Leon quickly shot him before he could, sending him down into the canyon.

Leon dodge another hatchet that was thrown his way before shooting the attacker. He then saw a villager waiting on a high wooden platform. Leon guessed that he was going to try to jump on their lift as well. Leon shot him before they even got close.

One more villager tried to throw a hatchet but Diamond shot him before he had the chance. They all relaxed when they saw no more villagers around. Once the lift arrived at the structure they all walked off.

Leon turned to Ashley to see that her legs were shaking a bit. Leon got her attention “Are you alright Ashley?” he asked.

Ashley swallowed a lump in her throat and nodded “Y-yeah, just a bit s-shaken.” she said.

Diamond was obviously putting on a brave face “Stop being such a baby, it wasn't t-that scary.” she said.

Leon just turned around and started walking ahead with the other two following behind. They walked down a flight of stairs and found a path with the merchant waiting for them “I see you survived that mob, good.” he said.

Diamond narrowed her eyes at him “And how did you survive that?” she asked.

The merchant chuckled “They don't bother me, little one. They know better.” he said darkly.

Diamond took a slight step back “What are you?” she asked.

“Just a man trying to do business. Speaking of business, are we doing any?” he asked.

Leon shook his head “Not right now.” he said.

The merchant just nodded “Next time then.” he said.

Leon agreed and they continued down the path. They walked through a door to see a dead end with nothing but a large barn. Diamond looked disappointed “We rode that rusty lift for nothing but a filthy barn!” she yelled.

Leon started walking towards the barn “Let's check it out, it might have something useful in it.” he said. They got up to the door and Leon stopped before turning to Ashley “Just to be safe, you'd better stay out here and hide.” he said.

Ashley seemed glad and ran to the side of the barn in search a hiding place. Once Ashley was out of sight Leon opened the barn door and they walked in. They started slowly walking while scanning the dark barn. Diamond suddenly got the feeling of a presence behind her.

She turned around to see the tall man in the trench coat. The village chief Mendez. Diamond's eyes widened and she tried to reach for her gun but was too slow. Mendez grabbed her by the throat and began chocking her.

Leon heard the struggle and turned around with his gun out. Before he could take the shot, Mendez threw Diamond at Leon with enough force to send them both into a wooden box, breaking it. As they both groaned in pain, Mendez walked to the door and twisted the handles together to trap them all inside.

Mendez then walked and stood over Leon who was still on his back. Mendez attempted to grab at Leon's neck but he rolled out of the way just in time. Leon then kicked over a red barrel causing it to pour clear liquid around Mendez.

As Mendez was staring down at the liquid Leon aimed his handgun at the ground near him “Hasta luego.” he said before firing. The bullet scrapped the ground causing a few sparks which lit the liquid on fire. Mendez simply stood as the fire surrounded him. Leon saw the fire spreading to the barrel. He then grabbed Diamond who was still on the ground and jumped away from the barrel as it exploded.

When they looked up they that the fire was spreading to the rest of the barn. Mendez just stood in the fire as if nothing was happening. Diamond glared at Leon “Why did you set the barn on fire?” she questioned.

Leon got to his feet “I thought it would have killed him.” he said. Mendez's finger nails grew multiple times their normal size and with a sickening sound his spine elongated causing his torso to separate from the rest of his body. Many insect like legs frantically waved about from along his spine. Then two sharp insect like appendages grew out of his back and pointed toward them menacingly.

Diamond almost lost her lunch at the sight of his transformation but was able the hold it in. Leon glanced down at the slightly sick looking filly “Get a hold of yourself! We have to find some way to kill him!” he said.

Diamond took a breath and nodded “Anything will die with enough bullets in it.” she said as she fished her gun from her saddle bags.

They then faced the monstrous Mendez as he slowly walked towards them. They opened fire on him and he took many bullets to the chest and head but they barely even slowed him down. Once he got close he took a swipe at Leon with his back appendage which he ducked under. Mendez then tried to stab Diamond with the other but she dodged to the side and they both ran behind him.

Mendez took a second to turn around and walk towards them again. Leon noticed this “Looks like he can't move very fast like that. We have to use that to our advantage.” he said as he started shooting at him again.

Mendez leaned forward and his back appendages dug into the concrete ahead of him. He then used them to pull himself forward with surprising speed. Before Leon could react Mendez grabbed him by the neck and held him up. Diamond shot him in the chest in hopes that it would cause him to let go. Unluckily he kept his grip and slammed Leon into the ground before bringing him back up.

Diamond traded her gun for her knife before jumping and slashing at his spine. He then let Leon go and backed up in pain. Leon got to his feet and caught his breath. Diamond looked slightly worried but Leon gave her a nod signifying that he was fine “I think you're on to something, focus your attacks on his spine.” he said.

They then started firing into his spine and he seemed to be in pain with each bullet. Leon then ran towards him with his knife ready and gave him a powerful slash to the spine.

The spine was severed and his torso fell to the ground as the legs took a few more weak steps before falling to the floor. Diamond gave a smile and a sigh of relief. But before they could celebrate the torso's back appendages lifted him up and took hold of the rafters. Diamond growled in anger “You've got to be kidding me!” she yelled.

Mendez swung from rafter to rafter until he was in front of them. He tried to swipe at the with his appendages but they were able to dodge. Leon swapped his handgun for his shotgun “He can't take much more, let's keep at it.” he said.

Mendez continued chasing them by swinging between the rafters as they avoided and shot him when they could. After a few minutes Mendez seemed to be getting desperate. He swung straight towards Diamond with his claws out towards her. Diamond slipped in though his hands and turned around to buck him in the face as hard as she could.

He fell onto his back and before he could recover Leon stepped on what was left of his spine “It's over.” he said then fired a shotgun blast into his chest. Mendez let out a wail and held a hand out until he eventually became motionless. Then his right eye rolled out of his head and onto the floor.

Leon bend down and grabbed the eye to get a better look at it. Diamond pushed Leon in the side with a disgusted face “Ew Leon put that down, what's wrong with you?” she questioned.

Leon showed it to her “It's a fake eye. I also think it could help us pass that retinal scanner.” he said.

Diamond gagged slightly “Whatever, just put that away I don't wanna see it.” she said. Leon did as she said then turned towards a wooden wall as the fire damaged it enough to cause a hole large enough for them to jump through.

Leon noticed that they would have to jump over some fire to get through it “That's our ticket out of here. Come on” he said as he held his arms to her. She took the hint and jumped into his arms and he held her. He then jumped over the fire and out the hole safely.

When they got up they saw Ashley running towards them happily “Oh I'm so glad you two are okay.” she gave Leon a hug then knelt down to hug Diamond “I was so worried when the barn caught fire. What happened in there?” she asked.

“The village chief attacked us and locked us inside.” Leon answered.

Diamond smirked “But don't worry, We killed him.” she said.

Leon nodded “And we got something that should help us get through that door past the lifts.” he said.

Ashley smiled “Great! Although I'm not excited to ride on those lifts again.” she said.

“Either way we'll have to so let's get back there.” he said and they walked away from the burning barn.

They didn't run into any trouble as they reached the lifts. Once they got on one Diamond laid on the floor. Ashley sat next to her “Is something wrong?” she asked.

Diamond shook her head “No, I'm just tired. Now I understand why ponies say it's important to exercise.” she said.

Ashley pulled her onto her lap “Would you like me to carry you for a while?” she asked.

Diamond rolled her eyes “I'll be fine. I just need a second.” she said. Once they got close to the next cliff Diamond and Ashley got up off of the floor so they could exit. They then made their way to the door. Leon took the false eye from his pocket and held it in front of the retinal scanner. The same red light shined onto the eye then they heard a click. Leon put the eye back into his pocket and opened the door.

When they came out on the other side they saw a path that seemed to lead to a bridge to a castle. Between them and the castle was a group of armed villagers. Leon aimed his handgun at them but stopped when a truck came from behind and ran the entire group down.

The truck continued down the path at them. Leon looked around but there was nowhere to go. Leon decided to just shoot at it. One bullet went through the driver's head and the truck swerved causing it to fall on it's side before it reached them.

Diamond's eyes were wide “What was that thing?” she asked.

Leon holstered his handgun “Truck, it's a vehicle.” he answered.

Ashley held her hand to her heart as she calmed down “These villagers are crazy. Even if he did his us he would just crash into the door behind us.” she said.

Leon nodded “They don't seem to care about their lives or each others' lives. Probably because of those eggs that saddler talked about. He has control over all of them.” he said.

They then continued past the downed truck and towards the castle. Once they got close diamond turned around and saw a mob of villagers behind them “Uh, we have a problem.” she said. Leon and Ashley turned around and saw the countless number of villagers.

Leon quickly glanced at the castle entrance and back at the other two “Hurry into the castle!” he ordered.

With no arguments the three ran across the drawbridge and into the castle. They turned back to see that the mob was still advancing. Leon noticed two cranks on opposite sides. He pointed to one of them “Ashley get that one!” he said as he grabbed the other crank.

Ashley nodded and got on the other crank. With nothing to do, Diamond took her gun out and fired into the crowd in hopes that it would slow them down. Leon and Ashley started cranking as fast as they could. The drawbridge was raised and blocked the villagers from the castle.

Ashley calmed herself down. Leon got their attention “Alright, we have no choice but to continue.” he said. The others nodded and they walked forward.

Filthy Rich entered the throne room once again to see Celestia, Luna, Twilight, and Rarity. He walked up to them while trying not to act frantic “I heard that you had news regarding my daughter?” he asked.

Celestia nodded with a slight smile “We have good news and bad news, and more good news.” she said.

Filthy raised an eyebrow “At least you have good news, I could really use some.” he said.

Celestia turned to Twilight “Would you like to explain the situation?” she asked.

Twilight gave her a nod then turned to Filthy “Good news is that we found your daughter in another world. It's actually very interesting how we figured it out. First we-” she was interrupted by Filthy.

“With all due respect, I don't need to know how. Just tell me the rest of the news.” he said.

Twilight blushed a bit “Oh right, sorry.” she cleared her throat “Well that's the first good news. The bad news is that while we found a way to teleport her back here, it isn't working.” she said.

Filthy sighed sadly “Do you have any idea why it's not working?” he asked.

Twilight gave a small smile “Actually, we know exactly why it's not working. Since we would be teleporting from such a long distance we would need time to get her exact location.” she said.

“Why is that a problem?” he asked.

Celestia stepped up to explain “While scanning we found that Diamond has been moving almost constantly. We would need her to stay still for a few minutes to zero in on her exact location.” she said.

Rarity put a hoof to her chin “It makes me wonder why she would be so active.” she said.

Filthy thought on that for a second before remembering something “Wait, you said there was more good news?” he asked.

Twilight's smile grew a bit “Ah yes. We do have a plan. While it would take multiple minutes to bring her here, it would only take about a minute to send something to her.” she said.

Filthy seemed confused “Send? What could you send her that will help the situation?” he asked. Twilight activated her horn and levitated a mirror in front of him. Filthy stared at it with a questioning look “A mirror?” he asked.

Twilight nodded “It's a magical mirror.” she then levitated another mirror facing herself. Filthy then saw Twilight's face appear in the mirror facing him “It allows ponies to communicate from long distances. If she has this we could talk to her and tell her to stay still so we could bring her back.” she said.

Filthy smiled for a second but lost it moments later “Why haven't you sent it yet?” he asked.

Twilight frowned slightly “As we said it would still take about a minute to send. She hasn't been in one spot that long yet.” she said.

Filthy looked down “Diamond, what are you up to?” he whispered to himself.

Luna got his attention “Worry not. We shall keep a watch on her.” she said.

Celestia nodded “And when she stops long enough we will send it immediately. You are welcome to stay at the castle. We will call you once we have contact with her.” she said.

Filthy shook his head “No, I'll stay around here. I want to see her as soon as possible.” he said.

Celestia gave a gentle nod “As you wish.” she said. She then activated her horn along with Luna. Filthy guessed that they were scanning that other world.

Rarity came up next to him and put a hoof to his shoulder “At least we know that she's safe since she's moving.” she said in an effort to cheer him up.

Filthy sighed and smiled a bit “Yeah, I couldn't be happier to hear that.” he said.
