Currently playing on his laptop in his home is the young man named Zander Spellman. Zander is nineteen with dark brown skin, black hair done in ear length dreadlocks, dull green eyes, an average build and he is just wearing a basic white T-shirt with green cargo pants and black boots as he is sitting at the wooden desk in his room while playing ‘Ultimate Skyrim’
Which was made famous by a large series of youtube videos as Zander quickly noticed just how late it had gotten as it was past midnight.

“Damn I guess I got carried away” Zander said as he saved his game progress before cutting ‘Ultimate Skyrim’ off along with his laptop before looking over his other games he had installed before he simply stripped down before crawling into his bed to go to sleep.

“What the hell?” Zander asked as he opened his eyes and saw light green window screens with words on them in front of his face. As he also noticed that he has woken up in a strange new room as the room has all sorts of science experiments all over the place along with a bookshelf of random sized books, rock band posters on the walls, a flat screen tv near the bed he was on along with a nightstand holding the tv remote. Also, an open closet with some clothes on the floor and the bed he was on was pretty big with velvet-colored covers.

“Good you woke up” A voice said as someone Zander never expected to see walked into the room as this person was none other than the Equestria girl version of Sunset Shimmer but dressed in a knee length T-shirt and grey sweatpants.

This girl wasn’t in cosplay or anything and somehow Zander knew he wasn’t dreaming or imagining things and he also saw strange words above Sunset’s head.

“Where am I and how did I even get here?” Zander asked as he looked around the room for a moment not sure how to make sense of what he was seeing as he then noticed the window in the room as he looked out at it and saw the bright sun entering the room.

“Your currently in my house and I honestly don’t know how you got here since the portal never forcibly activated before” Sunset said as she put her hand on her chin in deep thought.

“Portal?” Zander asked with more confusion as Sunset looked Zander over a little bit before walking up to him.

“Give me your hand” Sunset said or more like ordered as Zander hesitated for a moment before remembering what Sunset Shimmer could do in the Equestira girls movies and episodes as she was basically a telepath but before Zander could do anything Sunset grabbed his hand and she read all of his recent thoughts before letting him go and shaking her head.

“Y-Your not from here or Equestria?” Sunset asked herself in mild shock. “How? It’s like you’re from a different universe” Sunset said as she was visibly shaken by what she learned, and she had undoubtedly learned about how Zander knew who she was.

“I actually am, and I don’t know how I got here” Zander said as Sunset looked back at him as she mustered up the most resolve she could before talking again.

“Who are you Zander and how do you know about me and my friends?” Sunset asked as she demanded an answer. So, since Zander couldn’t see how the truth could make things worse, he just told the truth by didn’t tell her about the Rule 34 and Palcomix content he looked at sometimes.

“Where…A kids cartoon?” Sunset asked herself as she looked like she was trying to process what she just heard.

“I’m sorry if that hurts but I didn’t want to lie since the truth would have come out eventually since you could just look at my memories.

Anyway, can you tell me how you found me at least?” Zander asked as he finally stood up out of Sunset’s bed and saw that he is only wearing his black boxers, so he covered himself with the covers. Expecting Sunset to say something but she honestly didn’t seem to care.

“Well after school and the girls left. I decided to stay late and study a bit more by the Equestria high school statue and suddenly it started vibrating and shaking like crazy before it glowed a bright rainbow color and you fell out of it unconscious and naked. So, I thought you where from Equestria and decided to take you home safely before anyone could do something bad to you” Sunset said as the air around them felt a bit more awkward now.

“Thank you for making sure I stay safe. I just wish I knew how I got transported here. My parents must be going crazy” Zander said as he just now realized that Sunset was having to look up at him as he stands at six foot one while she is an inch or two above average height for a girl.

“How old are you?” Sunset asked.

“I’m nineteen. What about you?” Zander asked back.

“I’m eighteen” Sunset said as they made a bit of small talk before Zander realized just how early it was as Sunset left the guest room to go change and get ready for school that apparently starts at nine AM in the morning. Then soon enough Zander saw Sunset dressed in her newer attire of a light green blouse underneath a black leather jacket, blue jeans and black boots along with her backpack on her back.

“I’m going to trust you for a bit and leave you alone here until I come back with Rarity who can get you some clothes. So, don’t try to steal my stuff and runaway” Sunset said as she left for school.

“This is seriously bizarre. One minute I am playing on my laptop but the next I am transported into a different world and I am seeing weird things for some reason as well” Zander said to himself before he scratched his head a bit.

{Hello player I am the game system interface, and I am now giving you a tutorial on your newly discovered abilities and situation.

The system has various and complicated options and systems attached but from a basic standpoint your abilities can be activated via thought or vocal commands. You have the ability to do various things and achieve much but you must remember that this system isn’t all powerful and does have limits.

“Status?” Zander asked himself not knowing what would happen before another game like screen appeared in front of his face.

{Here is your second tutorial based on your stats. Now first is the ‘Rank’ system. Now this game doesn’t have a basic level up mechanic and instead operates based on the ranks or tiers of all living beings and the ranks are as followed.

Rank: Mid-Level Ability User

Rank: High-Level Ability User

These rank scale Logarithmically after someone surpasses the ‘Uncommon Human’ rank that is seen in top tier athletes and Olympians in the world. A ‘Ability User’ is ten times stronger than a ‘Uncommon Human’ while a Mid-Level is a hundred times stronger than a average ‘Ability User’.

A High-Level is one-thousand times stronger than a Mid-Level and a God rank belongs to supernatural gods and deities or ability users that somehow attain longevity or an extremely powerful and legendary skill that others cannot possess.

Next is the basic stats as your HP represents your health and how healthy you are. MP represents your inner Mana power which is used to power spells and supernatural abilities as this stat and its recovery ability is dependent on your Intelligence and Wisdom stats.

Lastly is your Ki which is your inner energy, Chakra, Chi and whatever else you want to call it. This stat is dependent on all of your physical stats and skills as well as any buffs or De-buffs you have.

Now your stats themselves should be self-explanatory so we will move on to stat points and skill points.

Now skill and stat points are rewarded randomly based on various things like quest rewards, defeating bosses, finding rare items and stuff like that. However, the stat and skill points can be given by basic things like studying to increase your INT or regular exercises for your physical stats.

“That is a lot to read but it is important” Zander said as he gained some new insight into things and that also explained the rank thing that Sunset Shimmer had next to her name as her powers did make her superior to the regular humans.

“I might as well watch some tv” Zander said as he sat on the bed and cut the tv on to pass the time as he learned from the news that it is April fifteenth in the year 2023 which was literally the next day after he was in his room playing on his laptop.

“At least trash tv doesn’t change” Zander said as he watched some tv for a while as well as getting some food out of Sunset’s fridge as time passed with him being entertained by tv dramas, reality tv, and cartoons.

“Zander put on a towel. Where here” Sunset said as she entered the home as Zander quickly went into the hall closet and wrapped a pink towel around his waist before he finally asked himself why Sunset’s parents where not here.

‘She must have parents, right? How else could a teen live in a home like this even if she is from a world of ponies and magic’ Zander thought to himself before both Sunset and Rarity walked up to him as he re-entered the guest room.

As Rarity also mimicked her Equestria girls counter part in appearance as Zander could actually smell her perfume and it was a bit overbearing if he was being honest but it wasn’t to bad and honestly this was the closet Zander had ever gotten around girls without clothes and he wouldn’t complain at these lovely ladies being near him while he was undressed like this even if it wasn’t in a sexual instance.

“Hello, their darling I’m Rarity and Sunset has told me a bit about your bizarre situation, and I have brought you some things” Rarity said kindly as she was holding a set of men’s clothes that she quickly passed to Zander before she looked away with a slight blush on her face.

“Sunset you shouldn’t be watching him undress” Rarity said as Sunset shrugged as Zander put the clothes on the bed before he undid his towel.

“Rare I already saw him naked before and it’s not like I’m looking at his dick specifically” Sunset said making Zander pause for a moment at Sunset’s words but didn’t pay it any mind as he was now dressed in a red T-shirt with blue jeans and brown sneakers. As he also has a belt around his waist to keep the pants in place and not start sagging or anything.

“These things are a little baggy, but I like them. So, thanks Rarity” Zander said as he turned around the same time as Rarity.

“Honestly, darling you don’t have to be so crass” Rarity said to Sunset before looking at Zander “You welcome Zander and after talking with Sunset I wanted to talk with you about something” Rarity said as Zander sat down on the bed.

“Alright. What’s up?” Zander asked.

“Well, you are from a new world that can’t normally be accessed, and you don’t really have any family or friends here to help you. So, since the Boutique I work at is looking for some extra help I wanted to suggest you work there and try to get a good footing on some things” Rarity said as Zander was honestly surprised that she would help a stranger that quickly, but he decided it is best not to look a gift horse in the mouth.

“Well, that is very generous of you and I appreciate it the offer. However, I don’t know the first thing about working in a boutique” Zander said

“Don’t worry darling the position isn’t making the clothes. It’s basic grunt work and organization so I’m sure you’ll do fine” Rarity said as Zander agreed to go and apply for the job since he did need the money.

“Wonderful. The more money you get the faster you can leave because I do not do mysterious world travelling roommates.” Sunset said as she crossed her arms.

“Fair enough but seriously Sunset I want to thank you for bringing me here and helping me figure stuff out” Zander said as the three of them talked for a bit before Rarity left for her home as Sunset helped Zander set up a good-looking resume on her laptop as they printed it out on her printer in her room as Zander just watched some more tv before making a sandwich in Sunset’s kitchen along with her and soon enough when the night came Zander went to sleep in the guest room.

4/16/2023

Right now, Zander got redressed in the clothes Rarity gave him as he had looked up the directions to the ‘Grand Fab’ boutique as he had his resume in his pocket as he soon came up to the moderately sized store with the ‘now hiring’ sign on the door as he walked in and soon started talking with the manager. A woman named Glamor Galant dressed in a light green suit and luckily enough Zander got the job and could start immediately as he helped in the back room by unpacking various boxes of clothes and store supplies.

The day went by pretty quick and job wise Zander would be getting paid every two weeks for his new part-time job and he couldn’t complain about the pay. However, he had to wait until his first paycheck came before he could start a new bank account since he didn’t have one in this world.

Anyway, Zander is currently walking back to Sunset’s place before he heard a familiar voice of a certain girl he hadn’t met yet.

“Please can’t you just leave me alone?” A shy voice asked as Zander slowly made his way to the voice as he neared a corner and slowly looked down into the nearby alley and saw about three guys in front of Fluttershy dressed in a knee length and sleeveless dress that did hug her hips and womanly curves along with brown flat shoes as another guy stood behind her.

“Why would they do that babe. These are my friends and they just wanted to see you” The leader of the group said with a cocky smile as Zander than walked into the alley.

“Excuse me but the girl said to leave her alone” Zander said as he crossed his arms with a mean look on his face as he always thought Fluttershy was adorable and he didn’t want anyone to even try and hurt her.

“Look here jackass this is between me and my girl so why don’t you beat it” The leader said as Zander than saw the guy’s name.

“Well, your girl is clearly scared of you so leave her alone” Zander said forcefully as the guy behind Fluttershy walked up to Zander’s face.

“What are you going to do if we don’t?” The guy asked as Zander couldn’t care less about the name as he suddenly got a quest.

Name: Save the Shy Maiden

Objective: Save Fluttershy from the gang members that are harassing her.

Rewards: 1x Random Proficiency book, Increased reputation with Fluttershy and her friends, ?

Failure: Hospitalization, the gang ‘Attempts’ to sexually assault Fluttershy!

“I’ll do this” Zander said as he quickly kicked the guy in the nuts with no shame or mercy. As the man fell to the ground in pain.

“Well subtlety is out” Fluttershy said sadly before the other three guys went to move in as Fluttershy easily stopped them as she fought all three of them or more like forced each of them down onto the ground with just a few well placed strikes of her fists and feet as she knocked them all down in one fluid and fast motion.

“Whoa” Zander said as the he kicked started to reach into his pocket to either pull out a knife or a gun as Zander quickly kicked him in the head to put him back down as Fluttershy then walked up to him.

“Thank you for saving me from these guys” Fluttershy said shyly as she lowered her head but still somehow looked up at Zander.

“Oh, well it was no trouble, but it looked like you kinda saved yourself” Zander said as he genuinely had no clue that Fluttershy could fight like that.

“Well, I could have but since you distracted them, I had an advantage. We should leave before they get up though” Fluttershy said as they guys where hurt but still moving as Zander and Fluttershy quickly started walking away from the alley.

“My name is Zander and it’s nice to properly meet you” Zander said after they got a fair distance away and could talk without worry.

“My name is Fluttershy and you must be the Zander that Sunset was talking about earlier today.” Fluttershy said as Zander than finally got a proper look at Fluttershy and the information above her head.

Druid of Darkness

That information gave Zander a lot of confusion and he honestly had no clue about what that meant.

“Yeah, she is actually pretty nice since she is letting me crash at her place for a while” Zander said as they made small talk for a bit and actually bonded a little before Fluttershy realized how late it was as she decided to head home.

“Are you going to be okay by yourself?” Zander asked with concern for the girl.

“I will be fine. Thank you for your concern though and please don’t tell Sunset about what happened tonight” Fluttershy said before she left as Zander was alone again as he walked towards Sunset’s place.

“So many questions but yes I want to bring up my skill tree” Zander said as he than saw something that mimicked a fallout perk screen as Zander saw various skills, he could buy with his skill point. Now some where original or ripped off of something but Zander decided which skill to get.

This skill grants you knowledge on how to deal with any and all supernatural beings from the best way to kill a zombie to the perfect way to banish spirits and ghosts!

Warning: This perk will disappear if your race changes into something other than human}

Something practical and it also won’t raise to many weird questions. However, the best-selling point for this skill is the fact that it not only showed that supernatural beings exist in this world, but it also showed that Zander would most likely have to deal with them.

“Time to go home” Zander said as he soon made it to Sunset’s place who didn’t even bother asking where he was or what he was doing since he came back so late.

It has been a long time since Zander has lived in this new world as he also got to know the rest of the main 7 thanks to working at the same boutique as Rarity and easily enough, they became fast friends and after getting his bank account information in check Zander had bought himself some new clothes and a basic track-phone.

It’s cheap and gets the job done despite its lack of coolness other than being used in spy movies. Now, Zander had learned that some kind of tension has formed in the girl group as Fluttershy was apparently keeping secrets from her friends and that started causing a small rift in the group based on Rainbow Dash and Applejack saying Fluttershy should have some privacy in certain matters while Twilight, Pinkie Pie, and Sunset think that Fluttershy should rely on her friends and trust them more with something important.

Zander also used his phone to look up a lot of supernatural lore in this world and it is more or less the same stuff he has back in his world but with different sounding cultures. Zebrican(African), Hoofrican(Mexican), Neighphonies(Japanese), Chieghphonies(Chinese) and the list goes on and on.

Anyway, Zander looked up Druid lore based on Fluttershy’s title and it is more of the usual stuff like Druids being spirits of the earth/wilderness and other standard stuff that failed to help Zander figure out this puzzle.

However, another thing is that he more or less stayed the same stat wise and didn’t use his stat points yet as he didn’t exercise or anything yet since he is still getting his act together since he is more or less going to have to support himself when Sunset finally kicks him out.

Granted they aren’t bad roommates to each other and have bonded a bit as friends but Sunset would still makes jokes about kicking him out and he was determined to make Sunset eat crow with how awesome his life would be outside of her place.

That is also another thing Zander has learned as he learned that Sunset had no parents and was supporting herself since she apparently won the lottery back when she first came to this world from Equestria and didn’t decide to show off her cash or foolishly waste it like how a lot of rich people do.

Anyway, today Zander didn’t have to work so he was just watching tv in his room before he got a text on his phone and knew it was one of the girls since they were his only contacts.

[Pinkie: Hey Zanns it’z me Pinkie. When is ur B-Day?]

“Pinkie” Zander said with a chuckle and a smile as Pinkie was apparently more hyper than her tv counter part or like Twilight says. Pinkie is just loving summer break, which will last until September apparently.

[Zander: It’s September 13th]

[Pinkie: Kay. I’m planning ur party right now. XOXO]

“What am I going to do with you Pinks?” Zander asked himself with a chuckle as Pinkie was the girl who enjoyed teasing him. Especially about her being quite the looker like the other girls and would often tease him with her cute attitude while dressed in tight fitting clothes or ‘accidently’ sending him picks of her underwear while she was still wearing them.

Her excuse was that she meant to send them to Rarity but Zander and Pinkie both didn’t buy the little lie at all but despite the short time they have known each other. They did genuinely care for each other like how she cares for the rest of her friends.

[Fluttershy: Zander can you come outside and talk for a bit?]

“That’s unexpected” Zander said to himself before responding to another text.

[Zander: Sure. I’ll be down in 5]

After sending the text Zander got dressed in a white T-shirt and black cargo shorts as he put his phone and wallet in his pockets as Sunset also helped him get an ID as well which was pretty nice of her. But than again Sunset is kinda like Pinkie with the endless teasing as she walks around in her panties and bra and lately Zander felt his self-control waver when Sunset walked out of a hot shower without a towel and simply shrugged Zander’s reaction of by saying she didn’t feel like wearing a towel.

“Sunset I’ll be back soon” Zander said as he left his room and headed out.

“Kay” Sunset said back from her room as Zander walked out of the house and saw Fluttershy dressed in a basic white tank top with black basketball shorts and green sneakers as Fluttershy apparently wasn’t shy enough to hide her D-cups from view of anyone who wanted to look.

“Hi Zander, I’m sorry if this is sudden but I wanted to ask if you could come with me for a bit so we could talk” Fluttershy said as she looked down and seemed to seriously want to talk about something.

“Okay. Let’s walk and talk” Zander said before they started walking through the city of Ponyville which is the capital of the state called Equestria as Zander was still trying to understand the different forms of geology that this world had. States where different shapes even if they mirrored his world but at the moment that isn’t important.

“Thank you for this Zander. I can’t talk about this with the other girls” Fluttershy said in a serious tone of voice as they walked past a few people and heard cars whiz by on the street.

“Fluttershy what is going on with you?” Zander asked looking at Fluttershy who couldn’t make eye contact with him.

“That guy I beat up a while ago when we first met was my boyfriend and he never treated me right. He used me and abused me, but I put up with it because I thought he loved me and when the girls confronted me about it and I was…Hard headed and said some mean things.

I didn’t talk to them for a while until the school counselor talked with me and I had to come to terms with some things and…After breaking up with Talon he didn’t take it well and then he got his friends to attack me, but you already know what happened afterwards.” Fluttershy said as she had tears in her eyes.

“Jesus Shy…I’m sorry” Zander said as they stopped walking and Zander pulled Fluttershy into a hug.

“Z-Zander…Thank you” Fluttershy said as they hugged for a minute as Fluttershy quietly cried into Zander’s shirt.

“That’s so sweet” A passing woman said to her husband.

“Yeah, but I hope he doesn’t get the poor girl pregnant this early in their relationship” The man said chuckling along with his wife as Zander and Fluttershy turned as red as tomatoes before they separated as Fluttershy wiped her face a bit before they stopped in a nearby café.

“Sorry about crying like that but honestly there is more I wanted to talk about” Fluttershy said as they sat at a circular table as Fluttershy was drinking some herbal tea out of a large two-handed cup.

“It’s alright Shy. You shouldn’t have to deal with stuff like this and I’m here for you” Zander said taking a sip of his own hibiscus tea in its massive cup.

“Thank you, Zander. Now I wanted to ask if you think magic is real and not just the weird magic that sent you here” Fluttershy said as Zander didn’t know where this conversation was heading.

“Well yeah I think magic is real and I think it is awesome but then again I’ve only seen magic acts and stuff so I wouldn’t really know for sure” Zander said making Fluttershy smile a bit.

“Zander…I have some secrets that the other girls don’t know about and I want to tell them about it but the secrets would change the way they see me” Fluttershy said before a waiter brought them some food as Fluttershy predictably ordered a vegan sandwich while Zander had a chicken salad.

So, few options for people that aren’t vegan or vegetarians.

“Fluttershy the girls are your friends and whatever you tell them won’t make them hate you or anything like that so don’t be afraid to let your guard down around them” Zander said as he started eating his salad.

“Thank you, Zander but I also wanted to warn you about my ex. He is making a lot of noise in his gang and they are coming for you so you should probably go to the police” Fluttershy said with concern as she ate her food.

“Thanks for the concern Fluttershy but I will be fine, and I won’t let some thugs scare me away. Besides I’m more worried about what’s going on with you” Zander said back.

“Zander your very sweet but I’ll be fine…Talon isn’t a threat to me” Fluttershy said as she looked away and her eyes narrowed when she said the last bit about Talon ad Zander couldn’t help but notice the anger in her voice when she said that.

“Fluttershy” A deep voice said making both Fluttershy and Zander look at the café entrance and see a tall fair skinned man with crimson eyes, long raven black hair, he has an athletic build and is dressed in dark blue and sleeveless trench coat, black jeans, underneath his coat is a grey tank top, and black sneakers on his feet as he has a serious look on his face.

Diego Scorched, Rank: Mid-Level Ability User

Prince of Vampires

“Diego…I am in the middle of something” Fluttershy said in a serious and forceful tone.

“I am aware, but we have serious business to discuss and the old men you work for aren’t being reasonable” Diego said as Fluttershy sighed at that.

“Of course, they wouldn’t be reasonable. They are stuck in the old ways…Thank you for the treat Zander and thank you for letting me talk with you but I have to go now” Fluttershy said before she stood up and left with Diego.

“Something weird is going on” Zander said as he just came face to face with a vampire that wasn’t burning in the sun.

Granted its better than the Twilight vampires that sparkle in the sun but still. Something weird is going on here.

“These main story quest are also something strange but still…What is Fluttershy up to?” Zander asked himself before he paid the bill for their meal at the café before leaving.

Currently sitting down on the grass is Fluttershy dressed in sleeveless dress made from grass, flowers, and vines with nothing underneath her dress as her hair now has dark black and red streaks running through it, her nails where a blood red color, her eyes are dark yellow, and she is sitting in front of four old looking men that stood above her on top of a downed oak tree.

“Fluttershy we are aware that the prince of vampires has spoken to you, but we have concerns about what he talked with you about. Considering that you are no longer a simple Druid” One of the men said as Fluttershy snarled in anger.

“I wouldn’t be like this if you all did sit on your useless asses all the fucking time” Fluttershy said in anger but the men didn’t seem phased.

“Fluttershy we know your angry but blaming us won’t change the situation” Another one said.

“I’m a fucking werewolf because all of you refused to help me! I screamed and begged for help but not one of you cowards did anything!” Fluttershy screamed as her teeth sharpened into sharp wolf like teeth before she forced herself to calm down and not trigger an unwanted ‘episode’ of carnage.

“Fluttershy the werewolves are also a part of nature and come from the earth goddess Gaia. We must protect and shelter them, but we had no idea what type of wolf he was and we didn’t know he would attack you.

The vampire saved you, but they come from darkness and not nature so we can not permit him to converse with you or any of the other Druids here in the Equestrian forest” The fourth old man said as Fluttershy felt even more anger.

“He saved me when nobody else did. How dare you tell me not to talk with him when he was the only fucker that had the balls to stop that wolf before he raped me like he intended!” Fluttershy screamed again.

“Fluttershy. Remember your place here” The third old man said as he was the strict one of the group and when he spoke everyone listened so Fluttershy again forced her again down. “You are a Druid and a werewolf so if anything, you should be thankful for being closer to nature and I will admit that we should have done research into the werewolf we allowed into this forest.

However, you were spared the full assault of the wolf and you now have a new lease on life, so I suggest that you direct your rage somewhere else” The man said as Fluttershy felt like her insides where on fire now as her inner wolf felt like it was trying to tear its way out and attack these men.

“I understand and I will no longer associate with Diego” Fluttershy said as she balled up her fist.

“Good. Now leave and go home. The forest is at rest to heal from the werewolves rampage and you should rest as well” The man said as the men morphed into wood like statues before they shattered into woodchips.

“I hate this…I’m a monster” Fluttershy said before she used her mana to alter her appearance back to normal before she made her way back home with tears in her eyes as she came home late, but her parents didn’t question or think the worst of her.

Even her brother just felt happy that she wasn’t kidnapped or anything and that supportive love hurt Fluttershy even more because she couldn’t tell them what happened to her before summer break or the fact that she was an ability user in the supernatural world.

It hurt that she couldn’t tell her secrets to anyone and that she had to push everyone away to protect them from the darkness of this world. Even her new friend Zander wanted to help but she couldn’t tell him about the real Fluttershy or what she was struggling with as Fluttershy just stripped down into basic white panties as she curled up into her bed and silently cried herself to sleep.
