Author's Note
Ok so I'm been dealing with life for a bit now and all but I'm finally trying to get back into writing by starting this story as a kind of warm up before I continue with my other stories.
As always leave a constructive comment for me to help improve my writing. But please refrain from unneeded hate/negativity. I hope I can get back into the swing and churn out chapters for my readers across the board.

Prologue: The Arrival
As the spirit of Harmony for the world of Gia was using a page out of a certain Pegusi's book and is being a tree. A crystal tree at that but still a tree, anyway as Harmony just stared at one of the stalactites hanging from the ceiling as slowly it dripped a drop of water every other moment. She was bored, which was nothing new to her as she had been bored for the past nine and a half centuries or so.
As Harmony was just bored out of her mind, idly wondering if she'd lost the little sanity she had centuries ago and never realized due to the magnitude of boredom that she has been a victim to for so long. Felt a disturbance in the Force....of her world, as something new arrived into her little corner of the multiverse. She suddenly had a feeling that the future would be much more entertaining for her and Discord as she pushed her mind to focus on the new arrival to find a lone soul in a dark cave. That is where our story begins.

I yawn as I lay back on my bed closing my eyes and reaching over to run my fingers through my dog's fur, making me smile as I feel the bed sink as my fat cat named Garfield climbed up onto the bed to join me and my dog for this night's sleep. Giving his head a gentle rub as I drift off to sleep. I feel like I am being pulled in every direction at once while also being crushed under a pressure reserved for the bottom of the sea.
Soon though the strange pulling begins to fade along with the soreness that accompanied it leaving only the growing pressure surrounding me. I try to open my eyes but I can't and I find myself in total darkness. The next thing I register is that my body is curled into a very tight fetal position. Then I began to internally panic as I realize I am not breathing and that all around me is liquid between me and the slowly closing in walls.
I don't know how long my panic lasted but when I finally broke free from the panic I literally broke free from my pressurized prison. Though it wasn't explosive as I make it sound it started with a crack in the walls and a sliver of blinding light filtering in to hit my closed eye. I reached for it and met the wall of my prison once more but it felt different this time and with a new feeling I begin to push with my head into the crack of light making it bigger. As I do I feel cool air meet me and a long needed function for life reminded me of its absences with a painful need to breath suddenly as I, on new instincts begin to smash my head into the prison surrounding me to get to the much needed air.
Finally after what felt like an eternity I finally manage to break through and get my mouth and nose into the air, but before I could savor deep breaths I began to cough and hack up the fluid that I had been submerged in. As the fluid clears my airways I begin to hear things now and the hacking sounded small and childish. Sort of like a new born kitten.
I move my arms and wiggle my body still in the small place I had been held for so long to try and make the hole that my head had made big enough to slip my whole body through. Finally I get the rest of the fluid from my lungs and am able to take a deep breath as I manage to get my arms out and begin to wipe away the gunck from my eyes so I could open them.
As I move my fingers to wipe away the stuff keeping my eyes closed as I continued to take deep breaths I felt my body begin to follow my head and arms out of the container. It is now that I realize that my body feels different and there are too many limbs attached to my body, as I finally am able to open my eyes to find myself in a dark cavern with a massive opening facing the sun. Whether it is rising or setting I can't tell.
I look around in awe at the size of this cave I find myself in before remembering that the rest of my body was still trapped and I began to push with all my might with all my limbs including the new ones to break free from it. With the cracking sound of an eggshell, I finally break free and fall down onto my belly amidst the remains of my egg panting from the hard work.
Blinking I do a double-take on my thoughts and notice that yes I was indeed inside an egg and that I was now much smaller than when I went to sleep. Looking down at my hands I find them to be more reptilian in nature and looked like they could hold things but were made for walking on. As I put them under me and push up with my arms and legs I find myself struggling to stay up but am unable to stand up on my legs as a human should.
By now I know I am no longer human and I take it with a grain of salt, holding off my freakout fest for later. I feel my long neck as I turn to look at my new body to find black scales covering me along with a pair of large leathery wings on my back leading down to a long tail coming from above my bum.
As my eyes fall upon my tail I feel it twitch and suddenly a big smile blossoms forth onto my new muzzle as I giggle and grab at it with my arms and I catch my own tail before I come back to myself I find I have put the end of my tail into my mouth and was sucking on it like a human does their thumb.
I am about to spit out my tail but the sense of security I get from this simple act stops me as my wings flutter and I curl up with my tail and close my eyes to fall asleep having used all my baby energy to hatch.
Harmony watches cooing and such at the adorable little dragon that the soul became. Long ago when it first arrived and she had been waiting a very long time for this moment. She was bored for most of that time but she never looked away as she knew that this egg contained a being that would alter the very existence of her world if they wanted to.
