Disclaimer: This is my very first Littlespace story. It may seem a bit rushed at times, but I apologize. As always, criticism is welcome and corrections can always be made to the story. I wanted to make this to step out of my comfort zone of writing for once instead of writing normal ship fics, crossovers, or just adventure stories with violence.
Calm In The Storm
Sunset stepped into Twilight's room. It was a peaceful one, to say the least. LED lights decorated the walls and images of her friends littered the walls.
Twilight smiled. "Sunny, you made it! We're going to have so much fun!"
"Where are your parents?" Sunset asked. "They aren't downstairs. Spike let me in and went back to sleep before I could ask him."
"They're out. Coming back in 20 minutes, i think. Come, sit!" She patted the side of the bed. Sunset sat and Twilight grinned, charging at the girl. "Y'know, we're home alone~"
Sunset shook her head. "Not tonight, baby. Don't feel like it." Twilight removed herself from the top of Sunset as the amber girl settled on her lap.
The two girls scrolled through their phones, reading multiple useless MeddIT posts and laughing at countless memes. Of course, the occasional kiss and hair-rub happened. Soon enough, Sunset was something that made her heart drop.
"Twily?" Sunset said, looking up. "We have a situation."
Twilight looked at Sunday's phone, and she instantly felt bad for the girl.
IMFAMOUS "CANTERLOT STORM" DUE TONIGHT, EXPERTS SAY", EXPERTS SAY."
Discord Entropy, head of science department at the...
Sunset wanted to die inside. "Early? This is bad!" Twilight cradled the girl who was almost having a panic attack. "You think I can get home before it comes down?"
Twilight thought. "No, you're not going to be able. The article was published 3 hours ago, and it should be hitting sooner rather than later. You live across town."
The first bolt hit the ground as Sunset's memories came flooding back. "Daddy..."
Twilight was coddling the girl, who was heavily breathing against he own body. "Daddy? What?"
"A storm came early, just like this one. It killed him.."
Twilight hugged the girl tighter. "Is that why you're afraid of storms?"
"Not all of them. If it's just rain, I can deal with that. The lightning is what gets me."
Twilight silently contemplated if she should even suggest to do what she thought would help her at the very least, feel better. She could hint at it? No. She'd have no clue!
"You ever heard of littlespace?" Twilight and Sunset were both blushing now.
"You mean like...bottles, diapers, that stuff?" Sunset asked. Twilight nodded. "I learned about I back when I came here, someone was making a joke about it and when I got home, i looked it up."
"You wanna do it? We don't have any diapers or bottles, but I have warm hugs and sippy cups from when Flurry comes over."
Sunset nodded awkwardly as a bolt of lightning stuck and she cuddled closer. Being the smaller girl, this was very cute, especially to Twilight.
"Any questions or rules?"
Sunset nodded once more. "Our friends don't need to know about this, please. Also, no ponies either." She turned around and closed the curtains to try and block out the lightning as it stuck the ground a few more times.
Twilight felt her phone buzz. Suprisingly, it was Shining Armour.
Hey, Twilight. Mom and Dad's phones died in the car. anyone at the home?
sunsets here, why do u ask
Oh, wow. No grammer. Anyways, keep inside. Food should be in the fridge. If I'm right, Cadence is downstairs. I
Twilight's heart stopped. Sunset was already dozing off and she didn't want to make her situation worse than it had already gotten. Cadence probably heard her whole Littlespace conversation!
k. Not using grammar cuz sunset is almost fully asleep in my lap don't wanna disturb her
Alright, when she wakes up, tell her i said hello.
She put the phone down on the nightstand and looked at Sunset. Her arms were curled around each other and her head was cradled in that. It looked so cute, but unfortunately, to move, she had to be woken up.
Twilight moved slightly and the girl woke up. Sunset yawned. "Do you want some warm milk, baby?"
Sunset nodded and got up. "Is anyone going to be here but us?" Twilight reluctantly nodded.
"Cadence, but she doesn't mind this stuff."
Sunset was taken back by this. "What? I thought people were ashamed to do this?"
"Not Cadence. Once, my cousin was doing it once and she walked in, and didn't even make fun of him. She'll not be bothered, I promise."
Sunset sighed. "Should I stay up here, or?"
Twilight shrugged. "If you want to. I might be 5 minutes maximum. Gotta make a stop to Flurry's room to get something."
Sunset nodded and surrounded herself with pillows. Twilight left the room and quietly turned the door.
"So, Sunset's doing littlespace?" A voice came from behind her.
"Gah!" Twilight held her mouth to not disturb Sunset. It was Cadence. "Jeez, don't do that!"
"Sorry. How come Sunset's doing LS anyways?"
Twilight sighed. "To put it bluntly, her father passed in one when she was a foal back in magical pony land, now she's like this every time this year. I gotta get going, don't tell anyone."
Cadence smiled. "My lips are sealed." And with that, she walked further into the hallway.
Flurry's room was very small. Under her crib was what she was after. About 100 packs of pacifiers, diapers and pull-ups lay under her crib, in a box. Her mother loved to be prepared, despite the girl herself coming over maybe once or twice a year, and for less than a week. Still, they came in handy.
She grabbed a few packs of pacifiers, as well as pull-ups. After all, she had no clue how long it would be until she had another opportunity to get this many, with her parents being awake basically all the time. Eventually, she grabbed a few diapers, just in case Sunset changed her mind. Not a lot that it was noticable, but still.
Twilight made her way to the kitchen and quickly heated up Sunset's milk before making her way to the girl upstairs.
Sunset turned over as soon as Twilight entered the room, and closed it behind her. "Are you sure you want to do this, Sunset? There's nothing wrong with this at all, but somebody will possibly find out eventually."
Sunset smiled, and nodded. "It's fine, Twily." Twilight smiled and pulled out a box on the bed. It was mostly empty, asides from some books.
"Is there anything in my hand that you want, well asides from the milk?"
Sunset looked at what was in her hand. "Pacifier, please." She said, with a blush. Twilight nodded and placed it next to her.
"Anything else?"
Sunset wanted to say yes, but was embarassed. "You're not gonna make me pick one, are you?"
Twilight shook her head. "If you don't wanna use one, that's your choice. Heck, if you don't wanna use either of them, that's fine too."
Sunset sighed a bit. "Give me the diaper."
"Nope." Twilight said. "Lay down."
"W-what?" Sunset said, in disbelief. "You're not gonna...are you?"
Twilight winked. "I am gonna put them in you myself. I know how to. Also, you can use em if you really want. I don't mind. "
Sunset's face went red as she laid down on her bed, facing up. Twilight grinned. "Trust me, you won't even know what's happening."
Sunset gulped. Twilight removed her trousers and then underwear. "You ready?"
"I don't know.."
Twilight nodded and sat up. "We don't have to do this if you're not up to it."
"How will the diapers fit on me anyways? Aren't these for like, 4 year olds?"
"You'd be surprised at how small and flexible this brand is. Now shhh. Baby's gotta be quiet for her diaper change."
"Hey, don't cal-" before she could finish her sentence, Twilight placed a pacifier into Sunset's mouth. After a few experimental suckles, she mindlessly smiled before suckling some more. The guard was small, but she definitely was smiling.
Sunset felt the diaper slide under he butt and wrap around her pelvis and the powder brush against her, before Twilight taped the diaper to Sunset.
Sunset blushed. "So, this is on me now..." She poked at the thing around her pelvis. "Smells kinda funny."
"Do you like it?" Twilight asked.
Sunset moved around a bit, sucking on her pacifier. "Very tight."
"Well, obviously. You're 16 and these-" she pointed to the diapers. "Were meant for like, 2 year olds. Don't they feel comfy though?" Sunset nodded, smiling.
Twilight giggled, watching as Sunset grabbed the sippy cup from off the table and inspect it before removing the pacifier, putting the bottle into her mouth and drinking all the content inside.
Sunset yawned once more, turning around to face Twilight. "You're right, this isn't too bad... It's kind of relaxing."
She knew that she was too old to be suckling on a pacifier, or wearing diapers.
She yawned once more and cuddled into Twilight, letting her head rest over her shoulder. Twilight dimmed the lights with her magic and placed a blanket over the two.
"I have a long way to go," Sunset said, not removing herself from the current position. "But I'm glad we made a start today."
For the first time in a while, a bolt of lightning went off outside, and Sunset hardly flinched; happy to call Twilight her girlfriend.
Twilight was awoken by a knock on her door. Sunset yawned too, as the movement of the girl woke her up too. Quickly, she removed the pacifier out of her mouth just in time for Fluttershy to come in.
Twilight smiled. "Oh, hello Fluttershy! What are you doing here?"
"You don't remember? Spike stayed over at mine yesterday because of the storm. We talked about it last night."
"Oh," Twilight had forgotten about the conversation they had shared last night. "Sorry, I was occupied last night." Twilight tilted her head to Sunset, who was snuggled into a pillow. She was fast asleep already.
"Oh, my." Fluttershy giggled. "She must be really tired."
"Yeah." Twilight chuckled. "Wonder why."
"Could it be related to the empty sippy cup in your table, or the diaper outline in her pants?" Fluttershy asked. It was in clear view and Twilight facepalmed. "I don't judge."
Sunset looked up at Fluttershy with tired eyes. "Don't tell anyone. Please."
Fluttershy giggled. "Sure. You look adorable, by the way." In response to this, Sunset looked away and giggled. "Oh, and Cadence wanted me to bring you this." She handed a sippy cup full of warm milk over.
Twilight thanked her. "I thought I'd have to leave this one to get it."
Fluttershy shook her head. "I would of done it regardless. I'll leave now to give you some privacy. Goodbye you two."
Twilight turned to Sunset. "You sleepy?" Sunset nodded.
"Yeah..." Twilight placed Sunset in her lap, before putting the bottle in her mouth and Sunset wasted no time drinking the warm liquid once more. After the liquid was gone, it took a few moments to take effect.
Twilight wrapped a blanket around Sunset as she fell asleep. After she had fell asleep, however, Twilight laid her down, giving her a soft plushie to hug. Sunset still suckled on the pacifier way after she had fallen asleep. Twilight laid next to her, spoon wise, placing an arm around her small torso.
Twilight grinned and settled down next to the girl. "You're going to be okay, baby."
