Deasly is forced by DawnChaser, his mentor, to attend the Grand Galloping Gala for the first time. Needless to say, he finds the whole affair boring and wanders around, before meeting Spitfire and enjoying a conversation with her. Still, a pony's got to eat, and when he discovers that not one of the things being served is something he'll eat, he decides to skip straight to the dessert table, which has some chocolate. With a rule on it to conserve the stuff though, he decides to use his size changing ability to get some extra. That...does not end well, and he ends up spend the night with Spitfire, getting to know her more closely than he would like, before finding himself as a third wheel between her and her actual fun partner that night.
