"Ugh... what happened?" Mitchell asked as he slowly opened his eyes. At first, his visions were blurry but, when they worked again, Mitchell noticed that he was looking at a door. "What the? Where am I?" He asked again.

Mitchell then scrutinized his surroundings and noticed that he was being held in a dark room with only one bed on the left side, a toilet with a single roll of toilet paper next to it, and a single light bulb on the roof that was flickering a bit.

"Is this a jail cell?" Mitchell asked himself. He then studied his surroundings and saw that he was indeed in a jail cell. But, it is slight less advanced compared to the one that he had been held in back in Atlas.

"I need to get out of here." Mitchell told himself. But, just as he looked down on him, he noticed that his hands were cuffed, and his guns were missing too. "What the?! Where are my stuffs?!" Mitchell exclaimed.

He then started to look around the place in search for his weapons but, they weren't even around.

"Great." Mitchell said with a roll of his eyes "Whoever captured me must've stripped everything away from me." He added.

Then, Mitchell has decided to do things his way. He has decided to step up, kick the door down with force. But, before he could even stand up, a voice from outside stopped him.

"It's awake captain."

"Good, let's bring him to the Princess."

After that, the door to Mitchell's cell was pulled open. He looked in front of him and saw a white coloured male unicorn in purple armour walking towards him.

"Who the heck are you?" Mitchell asked.

"My such an impudent behaviour." Shining Armor commented. Then, he began to introduce himself "I am Shining Armor, captain of the Royal guards." He introduced himself.

When Mitchell heard this, he raised an eyebrow in confusion because, this thing seemed very soft for a captain. And judging by the expression, he can easily see that he is a very moronic pony.

"Captain of the Royal guards?" Mitchell thought with an incredulous expression "He looks nothing like Gideon." He added in an unamused way.

When Shining Armor took notice of the creature's expression, he must assume that it was currently making fun of him. At first, he was a bit angry but, he forced himself to calm himself down because, he has a duty to fulfill for Princess Celestia. So, he changed the subject.

"Anyways, that should be it for our conversation." Shining Armor told him "I need to take you to see the Princess. And I need you to show her some respect when meeting her." He ordered.

Mitchell was perplexed by his statement. When in the world did he have a conversation with him? And who is this Princess Celestia? But, his pondering session was put to an end when Shining Armor forced him up by menacing him with his spear.

Mitchell then bregrudingly stood up from the ground and Shining Armor lead him out of his cell. After that, he began to guide him to Princess Celestia's throne room with two guards keeping an eye on him in case of any escape attempts.

Mitchell scrutinized the pony in front of him and saw that he has a key on the left side of hid flank, he must assume that the key was for his cuffs.

"Gotta get that key." Mitchell thought in his mind. But, he awaited for the perfect time.

After walking out of the dungeon and walking through a hallway for seven minutes, Shining Armor and his two guards have reached the throne room doors. But before Shining Armor decides to open it, he looked back at the creature.

"Be ready creature, the Princesses are behind these doors." Shining informed him. But, Mitchell disregarded him.

Then, Shining Armor pushed the two doors open and he, Mitchell and the two guards all entered the throne room.

Once they were in, Mitchell looked around the room and saw that it was extremely fancy like a luxurious mansion. Mitchell looked to his left and saw Thorax, Twilight and five other female multi coloured horses looking at him. The six females were looking at him with disoriented expressions while Thorax was looking at him with a concerned expression. Mitchell also noticed that his guns were placed on a table on his right.

Mitchell then looked in front of him and noticed two very unique ponies sitting on thrones. On the left there was a dark blue unicorn with wings with dark textures streaming from its hair and mane, and on the right there was a white coloured unicorn with wings, it also had a rainbow streaming from its hair and mane.

Once Mitchell was lead to the middle of the room, Shining Armor and the two guards decided to halt him and he did. After that, Shining Armor walked up to him.

"Kneel before the Princess!" Shining ordered the creature sternly. But, it ignored him.

When Shining noticed this, he immediately kicked the creature's knee but, it did not kneel down.

Then, Mitchell responded with a round kick to the guard's face. The force of his kick knocked Shining Armor's teeth out and he was sent crashing into the right wall.

"Shiny!"

Then, the two guards behind him both surrounded him and aimed their spears at him.

"Guards stand down." Princess Celestia ordered.

The guards did what they were told and lowered their spears. But, they proceeded to be on caution of the creature by standing behind it in case if it tries to escape.

"Hello creature, I assume that you're the one who I knocked out in Ponyville is that correct?" Princess Celestia asked.

"Correct." Mitchell replied simply.

"Okay then, my name is Celestia, I am the ruler of Equestria." Celestia introduced herself "And this right here is my sister Luna." She introduced her sister to him.

"And you are?"

"My name is Jack, Jack Mitchell, former United States Marines and Atlas officer." Mitchell introduced himself.
