The human had been on house arrest for a week since Celestia’s ‘interrogation’. The door closed and Michael laid down on the bed with a sigh of relief. He wondered if he should pray for Nyla’s safety, but he remembered Celestia’s words. If anything she was about to experience pleasures he could never give her. Michael rolled his thumbs and stared up into the ceiling.
