Season 1 - Episode 2: Close Encounters Part 2

"Your really okay with him living with you, Twi?" Applejack asked.

"But of course." Twilight said. "Besides, I think I can handle him. Or do I need to bring up the Canterlot Wedding again?" She asked.

"...Touché." Applejack said.

"Is that some sort of in-joke thing between you guys? Because I'd love to be in on an in-joke alongside each and everyone of you. I've never felt such positive feelings emanating between the six of you." Amiticia said.

"Twilight, please don't treat this like a project." Celestia said.

"Well maybe not like my usual projects. I can study a changeling in a very safe environment, and it'll be learning about friendship alongside me. It's a Win-Win!" Twilight said.

"I don't know...are you certain you can handle it?" Celestia asked.

"Two words Princess: Canterlot Wedding." Twilight said. Celestia gulped.

"Alright alright alright..." Celestia said.

"Even your Princess is in on that in-joke? I really hope I get in on an in-joke soon. Being part of an in-joke sounds like fun!" Amiticia said. Celestia's jaw dropped.

"...Why does that keep happening?" Spike asked.

"I think we're having a running gag in this story and we're not even past the introductory stuff." Pinkie Pie said.

"...Say what now?" Celestia asked, being confused.

"Don't bother questioning it, Princess; it's Pinkie Pie, there is no logic to be found with her." Twilight said.

"I see..." Celestia said and then left.

"So...what are we gonna do first? I may not be a pegasus, but I would love to check out your flying." Amiticia said.

"Oh...I'm not realy that great..." Fluttershy said.

"I meant the cyan mare. Rainbow Dash, right?" Amiticia said.

"That's me. I suppose you can watch me. In fact, Twilight, why don't you come with?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Fine..." Twilight said. "I suppose there's not much I can do right now." She added.

"That was all totally awesome!" Amiticia said, smiling.

"I'm only the most awesome flier in all of Equestria." Rainbow Dash said. "I'm hoping to one day be part of the Wonderbolts." She added.

"Wonderbolts? Who are they?" Amiticia said.

"Their a bunch of really good fliers who do stunts at various events and even respond to various emergencies." Twilight said.

"They are also amongst the best of the best too. I'm really hoping to get in soon." Rainbow Dash said.

"With moves like that, I'm not sure why your not already in." Amiticia said. "I mean, that was all really good." He added.

"Well...I may have flubbed up once at the Young Fliers competition this year. But I've been improving myself." Rainbow Dash said.

"That's good. Your learning from your mistakes and improving from it. I really hope you become part of the Wonderbolts soon; I think you'll be perfect." Amiticia said.

"Thanks for the vote of confidence. Your alright Amiticia. I kind of had my doubts at first but your not all that bad." Rainbow Dash said.

"So Twilight, can we go see what Applejack is up to? Can we?" Amiticia asked.

"Sure thing Amiticia." Twilight said and started leading the way, only for Amiticia to suddenly hold his head in pain.

"AAAAAAAAAAAH! Not another stupid headache! Go away, go away!" Amiticia said.

"Amiticia, what's wrong?" Twilight asked. Soon the pain went away.

"It's just a headache flash...I've been having them on and off since I regained consciousness in your basement. But they pass relatively quickly." Amiticia said.

"We'll have to tell Celestia about this later. For now, let's go see Applejack." Twilight said.

Elsewhere, Queen Chrysalis was watching Amiticia through her seeing orb.

"Grr...another attempt at getting him to return to the hive has failed." Chrysalis said. "If I don't do something soon, those ponies will brainwash him. I'm not sure where Thorax has run off to, but I'm sure he's probably on some secret mission. Though how he's managed to avoid me looking in on him is beyond me." She said. Suddenly her seeing orb was disconnected. "...Oh drat, speak of the devil! Seems a part of Amiticia knows I'm trying to force him back to the hive and has now severed my connection to him again. I must reduble my efforts." Chrysalis said.

"Thanks so much for your help with this." Applejack said.

"That's what friends are for, Applejack." Twilight said.

"But Applejack seems capable of doing this by herself." Amiticia said.

"You weren't here during Applebuck Season." Twilight said.

"What's Applebuck Season?" Amiticia asked.

"It's what the Apple Family calls Harvesting. Last Applebuck Season my brother Big Mac hurt himself and I was left by myself for several days. Unfortunately, due to a lack of sleep so that I could finish harvesting by myself without any help, I ended up causing a lot of problems. And then well...the reality of how much I had to do by myself eventually set in on me." Applejack said.

"Which is why from now on, if Applejack needs help, me and my friends are more then happy to do so." Twilight said.

"That's nice. Well...not nice that someone practically worked themselves to death almost. I really don't think anyone should do that to themselves. It's not healthy. Sleep is good for you, as is taking breaks. And if a friend offers you their help, you should take it, right?" Amiticia said.

"That's actually correct...where's stuff like that even coming from?" Applejack asked.

"It's probably something that's ingrained deep into my mind that I seem to be able to pull from. I don't know where I heard stuff like it though; I just seem to know it. Memory loss and everything." Amiticia said.

"Well, at least your honest about stuff." Applejack said.

"Lying to others is a bad thing though. Twilight told me as much on the way over here." Amiticia said.

"...And now I'm starting to wonder if your doing too good of a job, Twilight." Applejack said.

"Hey, if he learns enough about friendship, then he'll never want to return to the other changelings." Twilight said. Suddenly, Amiticia broke down and started looking like he was trying to defend himself. "...Amiticia?" Twilight asked.

"STOP! GO AWAY! I DON'T WANNA HURT PONIES! NO...PLEASE! NOT THAT! ANYTHING BUT THAT!" Amiticia said.

"Amiticia!" Twilgiht said before using a calming spell to stop Amiticia's episode.

"...Twilight? Oh thank goodness." Amiticia said, and hugged Twilight's leg. "I don't know what happened, but whatever memory that was was awful; I'm so glad you stopped it!" Amiticia said.

"It's nothing. It's what friends do." Twilight said, smiling.

Season 1 - Episode 3: Brainwashed

"So many positive emotions in one room...it's great!" Amiticia said.

"...He is rather...unique I'll give him that." Shining Armor said.

"He is also a very nice changeling. Yesterday he helped me take care of the animals." Fluttershy said.

"And while we were waiting for you, he helped me figure out how to do a Sonic Rainboom from a standstill." Rainbow Dash said.

"Tis most unusual for a changeling to be friendly after being hit in the head. How much more of his memory has returned?" Princess Luna asked.

"Well the other day, I mentioned the phrase 'other changelings' in a conversation with Applejack and then..." Twilight said and then Amiticia started having an episode.

"I SAID I DON'T WANT TO HURT PONIES! NO WAIT! NOT AGAIN! NOT THE BRAINWASH ZAPPER!" Amiticia yelled. Twilight suddenly used a calming spell. "...Oh thanks again Twilight." Amiticia said.

"Wait...did he just say 'brainwash'?" Celestia asked.

"I...seem to still be missing details from my memory..." Amiticia said.

"Now that is a lie." Applejack said. Amiticia sighed.

"Okay, truth is I do remember something else from before being blasted which resulted in me losing a lot of my memory. I remember being ostracized because I wanted to make friends with Ponies and not be an enemy of them. But other changelings thought I would grow out of that. Eventually. However I never did, so I was hit by something called the Brainwash Zapper a lot, but it was never permanent. But the last thing I remember is that blast that made me get my head hit and fall into the basement of this library home hybrid Twilight lived in. Thing is, I don't know how the Brainwash Zapper blasted me all the way from the temporary Changeling Hive I was living in with the team that was going to attack Canterlot which was hidden within the Everfree Forest all the way to here. Trust me, the hive was VERY deep into Everfree Forest." Amiticia said. "I didn't want to bring this up because I mean...you heard me! That is so super crazy, ain't no one believing that. Even if it is all I can remember." He added.

"He's not lying about all that." Applejack said.

"Hmm..." Twilight said. "Pardon me for a moment, but what was the year you believe that that was?" She asked.

"Why, 1995 AU; After Unification. Is that important?" Amiticia asked.

"Uh oh...so your saying you don't remember ANYTHING after that last brainwashing Zapper?" Twilight asked.

"Nope! Not a thing." Amiticia said.

"Then there's a reason you don't remember anything past that: Because your memory didn't come back UNTIL you got hit in the head. You were brainwashed for two whole years!" Twilight said.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Amiticia said before fainting.

"YOU MEAN TO TELL ME THAT CHRYSALIS BRAINWASHES HER OWN DRONES!?" Celestia yelled out.

"Seems that way. Or at least most of them." Twilight said.

"Why that dirty..." Applejack said.

"APPLEJACK, PLEASE!" Twilight yelled. "We don't use that kind of language in the library!" She said.

"Oh...right..." Applejack said.

"Now I have to change the orders I gave the guards about the changelings...just in case..." Shining Armor said.

"Oh my gosh...your saying there are others like me who were brainwashed?!" Amiticia said.

"Possibly, yeah." Rarity said.

"We've got to do something to save them! I'm not ever going back to that stupid tyrant queen; I'd rather hang out with all of you guys. Even though it was a short time, I feel like I've learnt quite a bit about Friendship." Amiticia said.

"What a second..." Twilight said before suddenly taking out a book. "I thought the name Amiticia was an odd choice for a name..." Twilight said before going through a book she just grabbed.

"Oh boy...we better leave..." Rainbow Dash said.

"I FOUND IT!" Twilight yelled out.

"...Or not..." Rainbow Dash said.

"Amiticia...that's latin for Friendship!" Twilight said. Everyone but Twilight's jaw dropped, including Amiticia's.

"So wait...your saying that all this time Amiticia's name was latin for FRIENDSHIP?!" Spike exclaimed at the end.

"In a nutshell...yes." Twilight said.

"I...actually kind of like it. I don't know who named me that...but I think this was fate then. I suppose I'll do my best to live up to the name." Amiticia said.

"Just when I thought this wouldn't get any weirder..." Fluttershy said.

"So, then when Amiticia bumped his head, it reversed his brainwashing and made him fall into the basement of someone whose learning friendship?" Pinkie Pie asked.

"Why is it always Pinkie Pie who gets this weird stuff?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Your weird Pinkie Pie, and I like it." Amiticia said.

"Thanks new best friend!" Pinkie Pie said.

"Gah! It's no use! The connection must have been completely severed after he was reminded of his treatments." Chrysalis said. "I suppose efforts to find Thorax will have to be redoubled." She added.

"Your highness, we can not locate Thorax...he's fallen completely off the grid." A drone told her.

"Grr...of all the rotten things to hear. Just how could this day get any worse?!" Chrysalis exclaimed.

Season 1 - Episode 4: Energy Signatures

Amiticia finally got out of the basement after hiding in it, and went to find his friends; finding them with the real Pinkie Pie at Town Hall.

"Are...are all those...Pinkie Pie clones gone now?" Amiticia asked, waiting for conformation.

"Yes, they are. And now we're back down to just one Pinkie Pie." Twilight told her newest friend.

"Thank god...there were just...too many of them." Amiticia said. "As soon as I sensed an overflow of Pinkie Pie's signature energy I just...I just hid. There was so much happiness going around that I had to hid myself or else I'd get sick from all the excess." Amiticia said.

"You can get sick off of ponies being happy? I thought you changelings fed off of love." Rainbow Dash was confused.

"We do. And Pinkie Pie loves doing fun things all the time. In a normal setting, a changeling can feed off of a pony's love if there's a lot coming off of one without harming that particular pony. Something I learned about during recon once when I was watching this one earth pony named Bon Bon as I know her now, and that unicorn named Lyra as I also know now but found a lot of love energy coming off from the two of them being together. I think they were starting to fall for one another at that point, and it wasn't that long ago. Seems a bit of my memory from the time I was brainwashed came back from the Pinkie Pie clones." Amiticia said.

"So what about that? How does that related to now?" Applejack asked.

"Well because they were having so much love between them, I was able to feast on that love without harming them. It was what you would consider a snack run. This brings me back to Pinkie Pie and her clones: Because all of them were doing things that they loved doing which was making others happy, there was a lot of love energy in the air. Now normally, that much wouldn't make a changeling sick...but keep that love energy flowing every where you looked..." Amiticia said.

"And you start to feel like your getting a tummy ache." Rarity finished for Amitica. Everyone looked at the fashionista. "What? I've had a tummy ache before too. I once ate so much Ice Cream I got a tummy ache. I assume it's not that much different." Rarity explained.

"Well...yeah. I suppose it would be pretty much a tummy ache from that much love being produced on a constant basis. I'm just glad it's all over." Amiticia said.

"So that's where you were all day...no wonder I couldn't find you to help me out." Pinkie Pie siad.

"No offense Pinkie, but I would've been able to figure out which one of you was real if you had tried to approuch the basement of Twilight’s Library where I was hiding out in." Amiticia said.

"Wait, I thought you said all the clones had the same energy signature?" Fluttershy asked.

"The energy signature may have been the same, but there was a way for me to tell which one was the real Pinkie Pie the entire time." Amiticia said before he lit his horn up. Suddenly all of the main 6 had a green heart over their heads. "An old changeling trick to make sure we don't get mistaken for ponies by other changelings. It's a simple spell I cast on everyone when we were with Shining Armor and the princesses the other day. It doesn't do anything but make sure on the off chance a changeling were to impersonate you, I'd be able to cast my spell and if I don't see that heart, I'd know it was a changeling." Amiticia said.

"So basically, you've made it impossible for any of us to get nabbed by the other changelings?" Twilight asked.

"More or less, yes." Amiticia said.

"That's...admittedly a good thing." Twilight said.

"...This is funny...I'm picking up an evil energy signature heading our way." Amiticia said.

It was a long and tiring process, but eventually Twilgiht managed to get rid of the Alicorn Amulet, which Amiticia promptly destroyed afterwards.

"I hope that this Trixie tries approaching us more friendly next time..." Amiticia said. "But for now, this little trinket has successfully been destroyed." He added.

"Thanks for your help, Amitcia." Twilight said, smiling. "Even though your whole deal of really being a changeling got revealed because of that amulet." She said.

"Look around, Twilight. No one cares. They know that without my help, Trixie wouldn't have been so easily fooled to take off the Alicorn Amulet." Amiticia said. "I think everyone here sees me as a good pony." He added.

"True, I don't think the act would've been successful without your help, Amiticia. You did help out tremendously. I didn't even know you could do things like what you did." Twilight said.

"I didn't either until I did it to help you. I just acted on the instinct of wanting to help you." Amiticia said.

"Well I do appreciate the help." Twilight said, smiling. Soon their friends came up to the duo.

"Way to rock the tricks, Amiticia." Rainbow Dash said.

"The one time being dishonest actually came in handy." Applejack said.

"Hey, even if it wasn't real magic, you can't deny that I did good." Amiticia said.

"He's right girls. Amiticia was a dear and helped us get that infernal amulet off of Trixie." Rarity said.

"Plus, everyone seems to be kindly welcoming Amiticia's true form to our midst." Fluttershy said.

"Hey, you know what this calls for?" Pinkie Pie asked before suddenly everything shifted to a party scene. "A PARTY!" Pinkie Pie suddenly yelled out.

Amiticia smiled as he enjoyed the party Pinkie Pie was hosting in his honor for his help in saving the town and getting Twilight back. He enjoyed his new friends so much, and was looking forward to more adventures to come.

Author's Note

So yeah, I stuffed a bit of Magic Duel in here too. Not much changed, outside of Amiticia being a part of the acts Twilight performed to trick Trixie into taking off the Alicorn Amulet. Season 3 is only 13 Episodes long, yet there are only a few things that change with Amiticia around.

Season 1 - Episode 5: Mutual Feelings Part 1

Amiticia was currently grabbing some things from Quills and Sofas when Rainbow Dash went up to the changeling.

"Hey, I thought Twilight made Spike grab this stuff?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Actually, Spike's been over at Applejack's because the farmer saved that dragon's life. And because of that, I've decided to help out Twilight in his place." Amiticia said. "Besides, even if he wasn't doing things for Applejack, I figured I'd do this anyways. After all, I told Twilight that sometimes friends need to do things separate from one another so that when they do stuff together, the experience means that much more to the two ponies." Amiticia said.

"How the heck do you figure that's a thing?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Your one to talk, Ms. Future Wonderbolt." Amiticia said. "By the way, congrats for making it into the academy. I apologize for not being there, but as I'm sure Twilight told you..." He started.

"It was a lie. I know it was a lie. But I get it, you know. Your a changeling. Even if your accepted here in Ponyville, Cloudsdalle is a TOTALLY different story." Rainbow Dash said. "But it is nice to know you care. After all, the next time I saw you is when I had to stop that tornado from almost killing you all. And that was only two days later. I don't know how sickness works for you changelings, but I highly doubt it would've taken only two days for you to get over it." She explained.

"...I'm surprised your taking it so well. I swear I would've come to celebrate in Cloudsdale with you guys, but like you said...I'm a changeling and Ponyville is currently the only place I'm accepted right now." Amiticia said.

"Don't sweat it Amiticia; your a good pony deep down. It's just going to take a while for everywhere else to accept the fact that there are good changelings out there. Because who knows how many there are." Rainbow Dash said.

"True. Too true. In fact, later on today, I'm going to be helping Twilight figure out a way of seeking out more changelings like me." Amiticia said. "And I really like being with all of you guys. Especially Twilight." Amiticia said and got the stuff he was after.

"Oh? Do tell me more?" Rainbow Dash asked, curious. Amiticia suddenly blushed.

"Listen...I know it's normal for Changelings to feed off love...but there's something about Twilight that...I don't know...makes me feel so welcomed and so happy that it makes my heart go thump thump..." Amiticia said. "I believe the approiate term you ponies use for this is calling it a crush." He said. "But Spike has a crush on Rarity, and we both know how much she abuses that." He added.

"Wait...how do you know Rarity doesn't fully return his..." Rainbow Dash started to ask but then face hoofed. "Right...forgot...you can read the emotions of other ponies." She reminded herself.

"But you wanna know something funny? There is someone related to Rarity that does have a crush on our resident dragon, but it'll probably take some sort of heart break for Spike to transfer feelings over to her." Amiticia said.

"Wait...SWEETIE BELLE HAS A CRUSH ON SPIKE?!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed.

"Shhh! Not so loud!" Amiticia said, before pulling Rainbow Dash into a back ally. "Your lucky I don't think anyone heard you yell that, and even more lucky that I didn't exactly Pinkie Promise Sweetie Belle not to tell anyone. She told me about it in secret, and knew that because I prefer being just as honest about things as Applejack that it'd be better for me to tell who I want in a roundabout way. I'm just surprised you picked it up so quickly." Amiticia told the Wonderbolt Cadet.

"Well who else could it have been that was related to Rarity that I've met and know the most about? I mean come on, I have yet to meet Rarity's parents, but they weren't really here for when Spike first showed up and I haven't really heard anything about Rarity mentioning them since." Rainbow Dash said.

"Touché..." Amiticia said.

"OH MY GOSH OH MY GOSH OH MY GOSH!" A very familiar voice to the two of them suddenly shouted out.

"Isn't that..." Rainbow Dash started.

"Sweetie Belle!" The cyan mare and changeling said at the same time and came out to see Sweetie Belle walking home with a smile on her face.

"Oh hey you two. Hey, can you gather everyone for me? I have such a huge announcement to make." Sweetie Belle said.

"Sure thing..." Rainbow Dash said and then Sweetie Belle left. "...I wonder what this is about..." RD added.

"No idea...I guess we're about to find out." Amiticia said.

To say that the bombshell Sweetie Belle dropped on everyone as she sat next to Spike and then the dragon held onto one of the filly's hooves blew everyone away was an understatement. Sweetie Belle told everyone that the two of them felt the same for each other: They had a mutual crush with each other and were thinking about dating.

"How...when...what?!" Rainbow Dash was confused.

"Well...she was did patch me up after an incident on the farm occurred, and we just sorta started talking. Over time, I found her to be quite beautiful." Spike admitted.

"Plus, I dare say we make a cute couple. Sure, we're both very young still, but I can't help but feel how I feel. And Spike can't help how he feels too. That's why I'm glad we're going to be dating, playing the field, casting the die and all that..." Sweetie Belle said.

"But your both so young..." Rarity said. "Are you sure this relationship will last?" She asked.

"We're not sure ourselves, that's why we're both dating." Sweetie Belle said. "And so what if he IS a dragon? I love him for who he is. And that's all that matters. It's who he is that makes me believe we can be a great couple, not what he is." She explained.

"I couldn't have said that any better myself." Twilight said. "It's nice to know the two of you have seen each other in the ways that you have, as it's a great example of how friendship can sometimes transition into romance if given the proper attention." Twilight said. "And I for one, can't help but wonder what the future holds for the two of you." She added with a smile.

"Damn Twi...I think I know what friendship report your writing today." Applejack said.

So this is officially the first romance plot point of the story and one of the biggest changes from the original timeline: It's Spike & Sweetie Belle getting together during the events of "Spike at Your Service"

Season 1 - Episode 6: Mutual Feelings Part 2

"So...Twilight..." Amiticia said to Twilight. It'd been a few days since the whole incident that lead to Spike and Sweetie Belle getting together. Once the incident occured, Spike stopped working for Applejack and went back to living with Twilgiht, though now the Dragon in question was focused on Sweetie Belle. The two were both great friends and both were doing there best to really give each other a good time. "Before I bring up my...proper question...I want to ask you how you feel about Spike getting together with Sweetie Belle?" Amiticia asked.

"I say it's about time he grew up, and I'm glad he managed to find someone for himself to be with. Now I suppose it is my turn to see if I can find that special somepony." Twilight Said. "But I'm not even sure where to start looking. Any thoughts?" She asked.

"Um...no comment. Listen, so long as you find someone who can like you for who you are inside will change everything." Amiticia said. Twilight Blushed.

"That's very nice of you to say Amiticia. Thank you." Twilight said, hugging the changeling. Amiticia couldn't help but feel some sort of intense feeling of admoration coming from Twilight right now, and it was directed towards him. Which bothered him. Was now the time to reveal his crush? He decided against it.

"Twilight, there is another question I have. Just who is this Discord Celestia wanted you to reform and only Fluttershy was willing to take on that task?" Amiticia said.

"Well, Discord is a draconques that has the power to change reality as we know it, and even tried to turn my friends against me, and it almost worked too. Eventually I managed to snap my friends out of their states and defeated him. And while I don't know what goes on in Celestia's mind sometimes, I do have to say I don't think this was a good idea." Twilight said.

"Interesting..." Amiticia said. Suddenly he began to yawn. "Oh...dear...it's starting to feel...cold...very cold..." He added.

"Amiticia?" Twilight asked before Amiticia suddenly passed out; starting to sleep. "AMITICIA!" Twilight yelled out. Thinking fast, she got out some paper and a quill before writing a letter to Celestia and sending it with her magic. Since Spike had shifted focus, Twilight asked her teacher to teach her a spell to send letters without the need of a dragon which was okay with the white alicorn. "Oh Amiticia...I do hope you are okay." Twilgiht said.

As seconds passed, Twilight kept an eye on Amiticia, making sure that he was alright as he slept. As she did this, she found her feelings towards him growing. It wasn't long before she found herself with a crush on him. Here was a changeling that was the very definition of friendship, after all his very name was just latin for "Friendship". And Twilight couldn't help but feel the way she did about Amiticia. Suddenly, as Twilight thought these things, Amiticia came to.

"AMITICIA, YOUR ALRIGHT!" Twilight said, smiling before hugging her friend.

"Yeah...I'm fine. Changelings go into a hibernetic state when it comes to the cold." Amitcia said. "It's just a thing that happens..." He added.

"But winter time isn't until much later this year. We're still smack dab in the middle of Spring with winter wrap-up having happened just a couple of months ago." Twilight said. "I should know...I managed to help out this year for that." She added, smiling.

"But if it's not winter time...why was it so cold?" Amiticia asked. Twilight's eyes went wide.

"...There's only one creature that could've made it cold...come with me. We're grabbing our friends." Twilight said.

"And make sure you do this right. After the damage you could've cause, your lucky Applejack let you off easy by tasking you with watering duty." Fluttershy said to the Draconques. "Which means no chocolate rain; regular water only." The yelllow pegasus stated.

"I understand...just...when I'm done...what's next?" Discord asked.

"What's next is that I help you out; figure out ways for you to use your chaotic powers for ways other then to cause trouble. While it is nice you wanted to ice skate with me, your methods leave something to be desired. So, I'm going to help you keep this on the down low and figure out how you can cause chaos without putting others in danger." Fluttershy explained.

"Is that something friends do?" Discord asked.

"But of course it is. Friends help friends with their problems. And your problem is that you want to cause chaos, but the way you go about it can put others in danger without realizing it." Fluttershy said. Suddenly Applejack, Twilight, and Amiticia showed up.

"...Your having him water the trees?" Twilight asked Applejack.

"Well I couldn't just let him off without some sort of punishment. Fluttershy thinks she can get Discord to use his powers for ways other then to accidently cause trouble." Applejack said.

"Funny..." Amiticia said, looking at Discord. "I feel like I've met him before..." He added. "By the way Twilight...I was wondering...maybe this weekend you'd like to go on a date?" He asked. Twilgiht suddenly blushed.

"I...I would like that." Twilight said, smiling. Discord finished up.

"Oh Twilight is this about...you know...the whole damaging Sweet Apple Acres by flooding the place and then turning it into a giant ice skating rink?" Discord asked.

"WAIT THAT'S WHY IT GOT SO COLD?!" Amiticia exclaimed.

"Cold?" Applejack asked.

"Well...as it turns out if it gets cold enough, changelings will go into a hibernetic state..." Twilight said.

"Yeah. It was so cold, I just...I basically passed out on the spot." Amiticia said.

"Oh I'm sure Discord didn't mean to inconvenience you, Amiticia..." Fluttershy said. "But I guess we didn't know about this before hand." She added.

"I suppose not...it's great to see you up and about." Applejack said.

"Pardon me for a moment, but who is this?" Discord asked.

"This is Amiticia. He's a very good friend of ours. And you best not cause trouble for him. Changeling or not, he's a good pony. His name is literally latin for Friendship." Fluttershy told the draconques.

"I know what 'Amiticia' means in English. Just because I was trapped in stone for a thousand years doesn't mean I don't know other languages." Discord said. Suddenly he made a bunch of words appear. Amiticia suddenly looked wide eyed.

"THAT'S WHY I THOUGHT I RECOGNIZED YOU!" Amitcia shouted.

"HUH?!" The three ponies and draconiques asked in shock.

So yep, second romance should be pretty obvious: Twilight + Amiticia. While they aren't full into romance yet, it should be obvious now just how much Twilight cares for the changeling deep down. She just has yet to realize just how much she cares about him.

Season 1 - Episode 7: Confronting Discord

"I thought it was strange at first, just seeing you, but now that I've seen your powers in action, I know where I recognize you." Amitica said.

"Oh? Did you find him in an old history book?" Fluttershy asked.

"Something like that..." Amiticia said.

"Well, then maybe the changelings have information we don't. Like how we can prevent his chaos powers from causing any further damage." Applejack said.

"That's what I'm going to teach him how to do. Sure I may not know how we're going to figure this out, but this is something I need to do." Fluttershy said.

"I suppose you are the right pony for his rehabilitation. I trust you to continue to look after him." Twilight said to her pegasus friend.

"Oh...well...I'm just doing what I usually do for animals that many would normally be afraid of: Figure out a way for them to live in peace alongside us." Fluttershy said.

"...If ya all would excuse me...Big Mac bet me 20 bits that Fluttershy would be right for the job." Applejack said. But before she could leave, Amitica suddenly blasted Discord.

"AMITICIA, what the hay?" Twilight asked.

"THAT'S for making it so cold I basically was forced into a mini-hibernation." Amiticia said.

"Ow...okay I get it...I messed up...geez..." Discord said.

"That's also for unintentionally causing the whole changeling food shortage in the first place." Amiticia said.

"...Wait what?" Twilight asked.

"Well, from what Chrysalis's mother had wrote about things that happened before Chrysalis took control, a thousand years ago, out of nowhere one day, changelings suddenly lost a lot of their love supply. And Chrysalis confirmed this when I asked her about it. She said that's why she needed to drain ponies of their love by force now because there just wasn't enough for every single last drone otherwise. The love supply was just too low to do things the way they were back when her mother was in charge." Amiticia said. "What Chrysalis remembers about that day, as she was very young, is she saw a strange algamation that had the power to do basically whatever it wanted." He added.

"So wait...then the whole reason she was going to take over Equestria..." Applejack said.

"Was because of something Discord unintentionally caused prior to the two sisters turning him to stone the first time?" Twilight asked.

"I didn't know I had effected any creatures other then ponies and animals with my chaos powers..." Discord said. "Heck, before this whole conversation I still didn't think I could." He said. Suddenly he looked very sad. "I...deserve to be turned to stone..." He said.

"WHOA! Wait what?!" Applejack exclaimed.

"If my powers can impact something so negatively...then I don't deserve to co-exist with anyone..." Discord said.

"Discord..." Twilight said.

"AND WHAT MAKES YOU SO SURE YOU CAN'T LEARN TO CONTROL IT?!" Fluttershy suddenly shouted.

"...And here comes Fluttershy..." Applejack said.

"Huh?" Amiticia said.

"Sure, you unintentionally did a very bad thing. But this is exactly why I need to help you. So you don't accidently do that sort of thing again." Fluttershy said.

"But Fluttershy..." Discord started.

"Don't you 'but me' mister! The fact that your so torn up about what you accidently caused is proof that your not really evil. And I believe with the right training, you could very well help us out in the future." Fluttershy said.

"Are you certain about that?" Discord asked.

"I am very certain. I wouldn't help you like this if I didn't think you needed the help. And that's part of being a good friend: Helping out your friends with their problems." Fluttershy said. "And no matter what, I believe you can be a good friend. You just need help. That's why I decided to step up the way I did." Fluttershy said.

"Fluttershy..." Discord said.

"So you need to stop beating yourself up. I want to go out of my way like this. Because that's just the kind of pony I am. That's why I want to be your first friend." Fluttershy said. Everyone gasped.

"Fluttershy...I...I don't know what to say..." Discord said.

"No need to say anything..." Fluttershy said. Discord hugged the yellow pegasus.

"...You know for being someone so quiet...she can really come out of her shell..." Amiticia said.

"Oh...um..." Fluttershy said. "Sorry you had to see that side of me...I don't normally act that way...I swear..." She added.

"Are you kidding? That was AWESOME!" Amiticia said. "You did that out of the kindness of your heart right? And that's part of being a good friend. What your doing right now...it's great. I can see why your Twilight's friend." She added.

"Oh...um...thanks..." Fluttershy said, smiling.

"Think nothing of it. Now, what do you say you finally clue me into that joke you guys keep doing?" Amitica asked.

"What joke?" Discord asked.

"Well apprently, these six have some kind of inside joke about some wedding." Amiticia said.

"It's not a joke." Applejack said. "We messed up then...and it nearly cost us all of equestria. We're lucky Twilight forgave us so quickly from that incident. We really do need to trust her more." She said.

"Yeah...not our finest moment as friends." Fluttershy said.

"I told you guys to stop beating yourselves up about it and just forget about it..." Twilight said.

"Well so long as we don't let ourselves forget about it, then we make sure we always remember it. Because if we betray your trust like that again...we don't deserve to call ourselves your friends." Applejack said.

"We all think that way." Fluttershy said.

"Aw..." Twilight said. "That's it...all five of you girls are spending next weekend with me for a sleepover." She added.

"That sounds lovely..." Fluttershy said.

"Twilight...remember what happened between me and Rairty?" Applejack asked.

"It helped though, didn't it?" Twilight asked.

"Touché..." Applejack said.

"Jeez, how much have you guys been through? I need to know EVERYTHING..." Amiticia said.

"Oooo...me too! I want to know everything too!" Discord said. Twilight couldn't help but laugh.

"...I guess your right...he can be nice when he wants to be. And maybe he can join us all too." Twilight said. "...So long as you behave yourself." She said.

"This sounds like an interesting next weekend..." Amiticia said.

Author's Note

So, while there is no romantic interest going on between Fluttershy and Discord, Amiticia's whole presence is going to be changing quite a few things. Now that Discord knows his chaos powers can do a lot of harm, he really needs to learn how to reign it in and keep on track. And he's not going to see friendship as a prison for when Tirek comes along.

Season 1 - Episode 8: Amiticia and Twilight

Twilight returned to her place with Amiticia after her Alicorn party the day after her new coronation with a princess summit at the crystal empire in a couple of days.

"You know, it's hard to believe your an Alicorn now; that's going to take some getting used to." Amiticia said. "And while I may not have been here for the full journy, I think you've earned it Twilight." Amiticia said.

"Funny...I thought I was a princess now." Twilight said, joking.

"You may be a princess now, but I'm your friend." Amiticia said. "And a friend shouldn't have to use your title when speaking with you." Amiticia said. Twilight smiled.

"Why are you the only one who gets me, Amiticia?" Twilight asked.

"Don't know, but give your other friends some time. If they keep adressing you by your title, drill it in to them that they are your friends." Amiticia said. The two shared a laugh.

"You know, I'm glad there's points like this where your here to pick me up of whatever funk I could be in." Twilight said.

"Hey, what are friends for, am I right?" Amiticia said. "I never did thank you for giving me the benefit of the doubt so much." He added.

"You don't have to thank me." Twilight said.

"Maybe I don't, but it wouldn't sit right with me if I didn't. So...thank you, Twilight Sparkle." Amiticia said. "Thank you for giving me the benifit of the doubt and letting me be your friend." He said.

"Your welcome Amiticia." Twilight said.

That night, pony and changeling slept together in peace. That night, they weren't a princess and a changeling drone; they were a couple whose love for one another would only grow from here...

Chrysalis suddenly broke her scrying orb in complete frustration, but had tears running down her eyes in complete sadness.

"...My Queen are you..." Pharynx tried to ask.

"I...I'm fine...leave me..." Queen Chrysalis said. Pharynx did so. The changeling queen lifted up a photo of what looked to be a male royal chageling. "...My love...is this why you never wanted to invade Equestria? Is this the reason? That reason being that ponies if given the chance will grant us love willingly? Is this what you saw before...before you sacrificed yourself to save ponies?" Chrysalis said. "I...I no longer know the truth...but I want to know what you saw in these Ponies that caused you to change so much..." She added. "If this is true...if this is really the reason why you sacrificed yourself for their sake...then I must see what you saw..." Chrysalis continued and put the photo down. "Pharynx, your in charge of the hive until I get back." She said to her greatest warrior.

The changeling queen had a new goal in mind...and it was to find the truth...

If things seem like they moved a little fast for this first season, don't blame me, blame the fact that season 3 of the show only had TWELVE EPISODES! The first equestria girls material will kick off the second season. That being said, I really wanted to try something different with Chrysalis here. Yeah she's been watching everything using that orb she just broke. Now the queen has a new mission. What truth will she find, and will she discover the reason why her husband sacrificed himself? TUNE IN FOR SEASON 2!

Season 2: Episode 1 - The Battle of Junction Hill

As the main six returned with Discord in tow they spotted Amiticia healing ponies who were injured because of the vines with Spitfire there too.

"Captain Spitfire? What are you doing here ma'm?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Chill Dash, I got word that there was a bit of an incident involving an outbreak of vines." Spitfire said.

"I sent her a message. Didn't want it to come as a surprise. Thankfully like I thought, you and your friends took care of the vines while I hung back and did some healing." Amiticia said. Spitfire managed to get the last pony who was injured into the tent the two set up.

"That's that last of them. Do you got it from here?" Spitfire asked Amiticia.

"Yep. Thanks for the help. We haven't been formally introduced though. You must be Spitfire, current captain of the wonderbolts. You may call me Amiticia." Amiticia said. Suddenly Spitfire froze.

"...That name...it's in Latin." Spitfire said.

"I didn't know you knew Latin." Rainbow Dash said.

"I do. But it doesn't come up very often." Spitfire said.

"Then you know that 'Amiticia' is the latin word for 'friendship'. So you know he's a good changeling." Twilight said.

"No offense Princess, but I knew that from seeing him help these ponies." Spitfire said. "But the whole latin naming thing...I thought for sure that my father was going to be the last person to ever encounter a changeling with a latin name." She added.

"Does that mean something to you, Spitfire?" Rainbow Dash said.

"Yeah. It most certainly does. First thing tomorrow, I'm getting you all on the first train to a very special place called Radical Junction." Spitfire said.

"Woo! Field Trip!" Pinkie Pie said, suddenly showering the place with confetti making Spitfire look at the pink pony with confusion.

"Trust me Captain...it's best you don't question it." Twilight said.

"And that means something coming from Ponyville's resident egghead." Rainbow Dash said. Spitfire couldn't help but chuckle at that part.

"Egghead? That's a new one. Gonna have to remember that one the next time I catch a Wonderbolt Cadet reading a dictionary." Spitfire said.

The next day the group was on a train to a small western town called Radical Junction. While not that big, it was very western. Thing was it was no where near Appaloosa. Instead, the place was clear near the boarder between Equestria and the Badlands.

"Wait this place..." Amiticia said. "I feel like I know this place..." He added.

"It probably has to do with the changeling king. See, Chrysalis wasn't always the sole ruler of the changelings. There used to be a changeling king, known as Amare." Spitfire said.

"Amare...that's the latin word for 'love'." Twilight said.

"And once again, Twilight shows off how much of a nerd she is." Rainbow Dash said.

"Must be nice to be such a close friend of a princess like that..." Spitfire said under her breath. "ANYWAYS, you see a thousand years ago, there used to be a big battle here. These strange demonic creatures lead by this solid black shadow creature that was clearly their boss once tried to take over equestria." Spitfire said. "It's known as the 'Battle of Junction Hill', and apptly named too: The climax of the battle took place on the hill that overlooks this town and this town formed beneath it. In honor of the battle, the town became known as Radical Junction." She explained. "Now follow me to the graveyard on the hill." Spitfire said before leading the group to a graveyard. At this graveyard, there were six pony names for sure, but the other six other small gravestones had names that were most piacular.

"These names...they are all various latin words." Twilight said.

"Yep. In that battle, in order to defeat the mysterious black shadow creature, six unicorn mages and six changelings all banded together to seal away the beast. The spell cost them their lives, but it was a sacrifice they were all willing to pay, especially after Amare had spared my father from becoming one of those who could've died from the beast before these twelve souls came together to seal the Black Shadow away." Spitfire said.

"So that's why you know latin...it's because of father..." Amiticia said. "I remember now...I remember I was the last changeling born before that battle. Father was the one who named me." Amiticia said. "And for years, I wanted to uphold father's wish. I remember that before he left for that battle, he told me that his wish was for Changelings and Ponies to live in harmony." He said.

"Maybe there's still a way we can. We just need to figure out a way to kick Chrysalis off her high horse." Rainbow Dash said.

"Maybe maybe not. But father would not have approved of the violence. No. I say we try to make her see what father must have saw in ponies first before we try anything more." Amiticia said. "It's what father would have wanted us to do..." He added.

"Your the last of the latin named changelings Amiticia. Therefor by default, that makes you the heir to and executor of Amore's will." Spitfire said.

"But she tried to brainwash you!" Rainbow Dash told Amiticia said.

"I know...but we have to try." Amiticia said. "Otherwise, when my time to die does come, I don't know if I can look father in the eye." Amiticia said.

"Eh...good point..." Rainbow Dash said. Suddenly the entire earth started to shake.

"What the...what's going on?!" Twilight exclaimed.

Season 2: Episode 3 - Seeker of Truths

Queen Chrysalis disguised as a unicorn mare named "Ver Quaero" and a cutie mark with a magnifying glass on her flanks soon arrived at the train station of Manhatten but didn't move into the city; instead waiting at the station for the first train to ponyville since the train station near Radical Junction only had three connected stations, Manhatten being one of them. A pair of ponies obviously in love with one another came up to her.

"You seem new here in Manhatten. Staying long?" The Stallion asked.

"No. Not really. I'm just on a journey to find a certain truth." Chrysalis said. "I was...hired by someone to find it. I can't disclose my client's identity though...you understand. Same goes for what I'm searching for." Chrysalis said. It wasn't her best lie, but it was a convincing one.

"It's fine." The mare said. "After all, judging from your cutie mark, you must have a career as a private investigator." She added. Chrysalis couldn't help but chuckle.

"I'm guessing they are common place here then. Not that I plan on staying long." Chrysalis said.

"Even still, I would love to know your name. What is it?" The stallion asked.

"It's Ver Quaero. And before you ask, all my work is pro-bono. Sure I'm not getting paid for my work, but if you ask me you can't put a price tag on the truth." Chrysalis said. It was just a small lie using that alias, but it was true she wasn't getting paid for finding what she's after.

"I see. Well I hope you visit Manehatten at some point." The Stallion said. Chrysalis nodded but noticed a train heading thier way.

"That's strange...the next train for ponyville isn't for another ten minutes..." Chrysalis said.

"Oh, that must be Princess Twilight's own personal train. I think it's called the Friendship Express." The mare said. Chrysalis went wide eyed. She had been hoping to see Twilight and her friends at Ponyville, but this was a rare opportunity to witness their bond first hoof in a location like this.

"I think...I may stick around after all." Chrysalis said and left the station.

A while later, Chrysalis became floored at how Rarity operated. It only strengthened her resolve to see this truth to it's fullest extent. She had a feeling with Twilight becoming Equestria's Newest Princess that she and her friends were key in finding the truth she was after, but she didn't think it'd be so literal.

"Wait, Princess." Chrysalis called out as Twilight and her friends began boarding the Friendship express. "Forgive my interuptions, my name is Ver Quaero. If you don't mind, I would like to ride back to Ponyville with you. It would be such an honor." Chrysalis said. She bowed to Twilight; and while normally not something she'd do; she's doing so to remain under the radar for now.

"Hey what are you doing? Just think you can get buddy buddy with Equestria's newest princess?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Rainbow, all she's asking is to ride back with us. And as Equestria's newest princess, it's important that I have a good image." Twilight said and turned towards the disguised Queen Chrysalis. "Seeing as how your name is 'Truth Seeker' in latin, and you have a magnifying glass as a cutie mark, I see no reason not to take a private investigator along. I know not what your looking for, and frankly I could care less; so long as you don't cause any trouble." Twilight said.

"Th-thank you Princess. Thank you so much!" Chrysalis said and hopped on the train. Quite Gullible...but she wouldn't have been made Princess at all if that fool Celestia didn't see something more to her then what I'm seeing today. Regardless, I will find the answer to my question; whatever it is that made my husband sacrifice himself like that, I will find the answer. Chrysalis thought to herself. Amiticia soon joined Twilight at her seat.

"I was REALLY hoping I could've sensed Chrysalis in Manehatten, but it looks like that was a bust. Wherever she is, I hope she can learn what I have learnt in the time I spent with you, Twilight." Amiticia said. Twilight giggled at that.

"You certainly have a way with words. Don't worry Amiticia, we'll find her." Twilight said.

"Right. Just for a talk though. I don't want to open hostilities on changelings. For the time I've spent with you and your friends, I think I know exactly why father sacrificed his life to save a single pony's life." Amiticia said.

What is this? Amiticia thinks he knows the answer already? But what is that answer? Just what is it? I suppose I must spend time with Twilight and her friends to find out... Chrysalis thought to herself. Suddenly Rainbow Dash sat across from the disguised changeling.

"I still don't trust you, but I'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt for Twilight's sake." Rainbow Dash said. "Just know that if you do anything to her, you'll have me to deal with!" She added. Chrysalis gulped.

"Well I don't plan on it. I was going to establish a small HQ setup in Ponyville so I can find the truth of which I seek. And up front, I will tell you can't tell you what I'm after or who I'm working for. It's what you call 'privileged information', meaning that by law I cannot tell you my client's name or what they asked me to look for. I will say though...a changeling so openingly being with you ponies is quite the sight to behold. But that's not my concern. I simply want to find a single truth, and to that end, I hope that during my stay in Ponyville until I find said truth, you'll grow to trust me." Chrysalis said.

"We'll just see about the gaining my trust part. Then again, you did ask to ride the train nicely so your not a bad pony by any means I guess." Rainbow Dash said. "So I'll let you off the hook for now. But if I find out this was a trick...I'll make sure you'll never cast magic again. Got that?" She asked. Chrysalis gulped again.

"Of course, Ma'm; I got that as much as a bee makes honey..." Chrysalis said. Seriously? Why must I compare things to insects all the time? She thought to herself.

"That's a weird comparison. And you don't have to call me ma'm. The name's Rainbow Dash, barer of the element of loyalty." Rainbow Dash said.

"And my name, as stated earlier, is Ver Quaero." Chrysalis said.

"I got that part." Rainbow Dash said.

Author's Note

So, while nothing of bonus happened of note for Rarity's key episode, we are bringing Chrysalis into the fold. I know it sounds like it's a little early, but I have my reasons behind it, which you'll see later.

Season 2: Episode 4 - Pinkie Pie Time

Chrysalis; disguised as her alter ego Ver Quaero; was currently writting down a few notes as she continued to watch not just Twilight and friends, but also other ponies in ponyville. She was doing this to see if Amiticia's answer was the same as her husbands, an answer she seeks herself.

What do you see in all of them? Chrysalis thought to herself. It's only been a couple of days, but she's beginning to wonder when the answer will rear it's head to her.

"Hello!" A voice suddenly surprised her.

"GAH!" Chrysalis jumped. It was none other then Pinkie Pie who surprised her.

"Sorry for disturbing you. I'm just wondering what your doing." Pinkie Pie said.

"If it pleases you...I am mearly observing and gathering information." Chrysalis said.

"Well that doesn't sound very fun at all. I'm gonna have to fix that. Come on!" Pinkie Pie said before suddenly hauling the disguised Chrysalis off to who knows where.

Actually it was just Sugar Cube Corner; but the methods Pinkie Pie used to get there is something that would break your mind trying to understand just HOW she managed to get from point a to point b.

What...how does that even work?! Chrysalis thought to herself. This pony is crazy!

"Now, let's bake some cupcakes together." Pinkie Pie said.

"Uh...why?" Chrysalis asked. "I'm still relatively new here...why do you want to bake cupcakes with me?" She asked.

"Because it's fun." Pinkie Pie said. There was no arguing with this one, Chryaslis figured.

While the pair had followed the recipe exactly, the muffins didn't come out quite right.

"I...don't understand. We did everything just right. What went wrong?" Chryaslis asked.

"So what if they don't look right?" Pinkie Pie said before eating one. “The Important thing is we made them together. Go ahead, try one." She added. Chryaslis did so and while they didn't taste any different then normal muffins...something about eating them with Pinkie Pie felt different.

"Huh...I've ate muffins that were delivered to me, but for some reason, eating these feels different." Chryaslis said.

"That's because we made them together silly. I highly doubt you'll find that answer your looking for if you just observe everyone, Chryssi~" Pinkie Pie said.

"Wh-what did you just call me?" Chryaslis asked with a panic.

"Silly, I knew from the moment I saw you you were really Chryaslis in a disguise, but I decided to take a page out of Fluttershy's book and give you the benifit of the doubt. Don't worry though, my lips are sealed~" Pinkie Pie said.

"How...how did you even know it was me just by looking at me?" Chryaslis said.

"Sorry, that's a secret Chryssi." Pinkie Pie said. "If you ask anyone, they'll tell you not to question it or you'll get a headache. Something Twilight gave herself once trying to figure me out~" She explained. Chryaslis just stood there, shocked.

"So...so long as you keeping secrets...can you keep what it is I'm after a secret too?" Chrysalis asked.

"Your hoping to find the reason your husband sacrificed his life to save ponies, right?" Pinkie Pie asked.

"H-how did you know that?" Chrysalis asked.

"Just a hunch~" Pinkie Pie said.

"I...don't even..." Chrysalis said but shook her head. "Regardless, you won't tell anyone until I've found the answer, will you?" Chrysalis asked.

"Nope! That would make it so you would never find the answer. I would tell you what I think it is, but then that'd be cheating. But don't worry, good old Pinkie Pie has pointed you in the right direction. Try spending time with people in town, you'll be surprised at what you can learn in regards to that." Pinkie Pie said.

"I'll keep that in mind...uh...crap I forgot your name." Chryasalis admitted.

"It's Pinkie Pie." Pinkie Pie said.

"R-right..." Chrysalis said.

Chrysalis said her good byes to Pinkie Pie and then headed off to go find someone to hang out with. Something Pinkie Pie had said stuck with her just then: She won't find the answer just by observing these Ponies. She should've realized that from the start. Now Chryaslis has a deeper appreciation for Pinkie Pie; even if she still doesn't understand how in the world the pink one figured her out so quickly.

Perhaps what she said is true: It's probably not best to question anything she does.

Author's Note

A lot of this season's episodes are going to be focused on Chrysalis and the main 6. And to start things off, we have good old Pinkie Pie. I think the way I wrote this chapter really did her justice. Oh, and for context, a lot of these chapters are either going to be inbetween actual episodes, dealing with the aftermath of certain events, or just all around slice of life in the background of some episodes.

Season 2: Episode 5 - The Answer Part 1

Chrysalis; still disguised as Ver Quaero; has been spending a few days with the ponies of Ponyville. Strangely, but probably not surprising, is how open they were to someone they have never met. Still, she has noticed the abundance of love in the air, and not the kind that would give changelings the most energy. But with this much on a constant basis was enough to balance that out.

Could the simple happiness that occurs when ponies do what they love doing be what my husband meant by how changeling and Ponies could live in peace? Chrysalis said.

"Oh, there you are miss Ver Quaero." A female voice called out to her. It was Rarity.

"Oh hello. Rarity, right?" Chrysalis asked.

"That's me. It occured to me that being on the road a lot must not give you a lot of time to browse for a nice dress for formal occasions. And as Ponyville's resident fashionista, I take it upon myself to fix this delimma." Rarity said before starting to dragging the disguised Chrysalis to her store.

"Gah! You don't have to drag me to your store. I could use some time off while I process the information I've gathered." Chrysalis said. It would also give me an opportunity to study Rarity under normal circumstances. She thought to herself.

Several hours pass in the day, and soon Rarity had Chrysalis in what the later could only describe one way...

"This dress...it's..." Chrysalis said. "The only way I can describe it is breathtaking." She added. "If only I had the founds neccesary to purchase it." Chrysalis stated.

"This one is on the house dearling; after all, you would need it more then I ever could." Rarity said.

"Generous to a fault I see..." Chrysalis observed.

"What was that?" Rarity asked.

"Nothing." Chrysalis said and soon put the dress in a bag before returning to her temporary home. She put the dress away and headed back out. The experince with Rarity only made things seem more likely that her husband saw that ponies and changelings could live in peace so long as changelings didn't pray upon ponies. Is that really all there is though? Surely the answer has to be more then just this. Chrysalis thought to herself.

"Hey there." A new female voice said to her, this one belonged to Applejack.

Oh great. Why her? Why the resident lie detector? Chrysalis thought to herself. "Um...hi. Applejack, right?" Chrysalis asked.

"That's me. Ah was just wondering if yer finding everything good so far during yer stay here." Applejack said.

"Actually, to be frank, I have found everything doing great so far. It's just that, I'm not sure if I've found the full answer yet." Chrysalis said.

"The answer that your looking for right?" Applejack asked. Chrysalis nodded.

"There is a question I am looking for the answer to, and while I have discovered some information, what information I have gathered can't answer the one question I have." Chrysalis said.

"And what question is that? I would like to know that, at the least." Applejack said.

"...Promise you won't tell anyone else?" Chrysalis asked.

"Cross my heart and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye." Applejack said, going through the motions. "It's a Pinkie Pie Promise, and I will stick with it. Otherwise Pinkie Pie will never let me live it down." She added.

"I see. Well the answer I am looking for revolves around the Battle of Junction Hill. Specifically, why did Amare choose to sacrifice his own life to allow a single pony to live? I need to know the answer for reasons I still can't tell you, but I will in time." Chrysalis said.

"And you think you have some kind of answer, but your not sure it's enough." Applejack said.

"That's right." Chrysalis said.

"Well, I'm no expert on stuff like this. Perhaps you should talk with Fluttershy; she might be able to give you a clue or two." Applejack said.

"I see. I understand." Chrysalis said and then left.

"...What is she still hiding?" Applejack asked herself.

Chrysalis did indeed go to Fluttershy's that day. And the pegasus was more then happy to shed some light on the subject. Still under the disguise of Ver Quearo, the changeling queen had asked the caring pegasus all about what she thought about Amiticia and how accepting everypony seemed to be of him after the attack on canterlot.

The answer quite surprised her.

It's because Amiticia chose to help Twilight out when Ponyville was taken over by a possessed Trixe Lunamoon; a former traveling showmare; who was wearing an Alicorn Amulet. Both Twilight and Amiticia worked together to fool Trixie Lunamoon into thinking a simple rock Twilight had as a necklace was more powerful then the Alicorn Amulet. But the reality is it was just a rock the Zebra known as Zecora made to trick Trixie and because of Amiticia having to reveal himself as a changeling to help Twilight out, the town praised him because without his help, the town would forever be under the control of a possed pony.

This all came full circle as Chryaslis was sure she had the answer now.

Since Ponies produced such high concentrations of constant happiness by doing the things they love, a changeling could live beside them in peace and use the constant happiness produced by Ponies without endangering their lives. But that can only happen if Ponies are happy. So if something threatens that happiness, changelings can assist ponies in dealing with the threat and restore happiness.

Chrysalis had her answer: Her husband sacrificed his own life, because it was better to let ponies be happy then let them die. Because if ponies died or lost their happiness, they would no longer be good for a constant food source.

The answer was staring her in the face ever since she noticed Amiticia together with these ponies, and her shortsighted nature forced her to only see one side of the exchange: The changeling side.

But now that's she gotten to know these ponies the way her husband probably did, then she knows what she must do.

Come the next threat, it's time for the queen to join her king.

Season 2: Episode 5 Extra - The Answer Interlude

Chrysalis took the time to get to know as many ponies as she possibly could while she waited for the next threat to appear.

During this waiting period, she witnessed how each element besides Twilight was tested.

While she had already witnessed Rarity's generosity tested, she saw Rainbow Dash's Loyalty tested with the upcoming Equestria Games.

Applejack's Honesty was tested win two unicorns by the names of Flim & Flam had a fake bravery tonic. Chrysalis found herself agreeing with everyone else that Flim & Flam were no good con artists. It seems not every pony was as openly friendly as Twilight and her friends or all of Ponyville for that matter. It made her realize that not all ponies had pure hearts, yet there were more with pure hearts then ones with bad hearts at least in Chrysalis's eyes.

Next came Fluttershy's Kindness where she was had to let the Breezies go no matter how much the Pegasus wanted to keep them. It actually was a scene that made even Chrysalis cry.

Pinkie Pie's laughter was challenged by an out-of-town party pony. Though Chrysalis had to admit, the way that Pinkie Pie's laughter was challenged was random and out of place compared to the others, but considering how random the local party pony was on a day-to-day basis, perhaps that was more par for the course for Pinkie Pie.

The only pony left whose element was unchallenged was Twilight herself, and Chrysalis had a feeling whatever threat would come next would be the thing to challenge Twilight's element. Because Chrysalis has realized that Twilight's Element has two halves to it: It is both the element of magic and the element of friendship.

Little did Chrysalis realize that there would be a way to challenge both sides of Twilight's Element...

Author's Note

Another Mini-sode and yeah. Even if Discord won't be helping Tirek, the Centaur is still going to wreck Twilight's Library. Despite Chrysalis's best efforts.

Season 2: Episode 6 - The Answer Part 2

Chrysalis couldn't help but notice one day that the sun didn't come up at it's usual time until a couple of hours later when it finally did.

"Strange." Chrysalis noted, still disguised as Ver Quearo. "Very Strange." She said. Suddenly she heard some shouting outside and went outside to investigate only to see a giant centaur had imprisoned the friends of Twilight Sparkle and seemed to have drained them of their magic. But what struck her more so was the fact that Amiticia was not drained of magic and was still contained.

No! Not him! Not Tirek! Chrysalis thought to herself. Suddenly Twilight showed up and started battling Tirek. At one point, Twilight teleported back to her library house to grab her pet owl. But just as she took the time to check where Tirek was, he was about to blast the library itself.

"! No!" Chrysalis said and jumped in front of the blast, taking it at more or less point blank range. The attack however proved to be too much for her and she was sent flying with the blast carrying her and Tirek destroyed the library anyways. But thanks to Chrysalis taking the blunt of the attack, Twilight was able to get her pet owl out and a few books too. This action didn't come without it's consequences, Chrysalis's disguise was destroyed, and she was barely hanging on. Amiticia and everyone else went wide eyed.

"CHRYSALIS?!" The Main 6 all said at once.

"MOTHER?!" Amiticia yelled out. He suddenly gained newfound strength and broke the cage containing him and the main 6 and ran right over to Chrysalis who was clearly on the verge of death. "Mother, why did you do that? And why have you been here searching for some sort of answer?!" Amiticia exclaimed.

"Your father...was right..." Chrysalis got out, coughing as she spoke. "And I'm afraid...I won't be lasting much longer...after an attack like that..." She continued, still coughing. "Just do me one favor...tell the other changelings...tell them there's an option for peace...tell them they can live together with ponies in peace...and fulfill your father's will...and now my will as well..." Chrysalis said. "Because from here on out, Amiticia...your in charge of the changelings..." She added before she started close her eyes one last time. "Long...live...the king..." Chrysalis said just before she got out one final breath.

"Mother?" Amiticia asked. Tirek took this time to drain Twilight of her magic. "Mother please don't go..." Amiticia said. "Mother please..." He added. But it was too late: The former changeling queen was no more. She was gone. She had sacrificed her life to make sure Twilight had more time to get things out of the library. An act that resonated with all changelings. But of all of them it resonated with, one stood out amongst all others.

"She's really gone..." Twilight said. Amiticia suddenly turned his attention to Tirek.

"LORD TIREK!" Amiticia exclaimed which caught Tirek's attention. "YOU MAY HAVE KILLED MY MOTHER, BUT YOU WILL NOT BE DOING ANYTHING MORE TODAY!" Amiticia said. A piece of chrysalis's now damaged wings floated down and rested in front of Twilight. She realized what it must be.

"Is this...the final key?" Twilight asked.

"If it is, don't waste time here. Go. I'll hold him off as long as I can." Amiticia said. "AND YOU! LORD TIREK! YOU ARE GOING DOWN!" He added before suddenly he began to glow. "FOR THE SAKE OF ALL OF MY FRIENDS, AND TO ENACT THE WILL OF MY MOTHER...YOU WILL NOT BE VICOTRIOUS FOR VERY LONG!" Amiticia said before he suddenly let loose a giant beam of light at Tirek which toppled the Centaur but then Amiticia was wrapped in a glowing coccoon. When Twilight touched it, Amiticia emerged from the Caccooon, changed.

"Amiticia...you look different..." Twilight said. Amiticia noticed his reflection in a nearby broken piece of glass from the now destroyed library.

"Yeah I look different but I don't feel any different. But I...I don't feel hungry anymore." Amiticia said. "Now go! Get that piece of Chrysalis's wing to the box. I'll hold Tirek for as long as I can!" He added. Twilight nodded and headed off. When she and the main 6 rose up in their new forms, Amiticia soon joined them in the air as Tirek tried to blast them but found himself unable to.

"HOW DO YOU STILL HAVE MAGIC? I TOOK ALL OF YOUR MAGIC?!" Tirek said.

"Wrong Tirek. You only took Twilight's Alicorn magic." Amiticia said.

"But I still have the most powerful magic of all." Twilight said.

"AND THAT IS THE MAGIC OF FRIENDSHIP!" Both Amiticia and Twilight said together before suddenly the group of seven launched the Friendship Laser at Tirek which returned his stolen magic to it's rightful owners and even imprisoned Tirek back in Tartarus.

"We...we did it." Amiticia said. "But mother...she lost her life to that beast..." He added. Twilight put a hoof on Amiticia said.

"She lives on through you; she entrusted the future of changelings to you, Amiticia." Twilight said before a castle suddenly grew up from the ground.

"This...must be your castle, Twilight." Amiticia said.

"Not just her castle, Amiticia." Celestia said as she and the other alicorns soon arrived.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Amiticia said.

"Chrysalis may have been bad during her lifetime, but her final act was to make sure you would carry on her wish. And while Twilight's title is no question; being the Princess of Friendship; you Amiticia, play a much bigger role then you realize. For you, Amiticia, have been entrusted with the title of The Changeling of Friendship." Luna said.

"The Changeling of Friendship huh?" Amiticia said before smiling. "I could get used to that title." He added. Discord finally arrived.

"I apologize Princesses...but Tirek wasted no time in draining me of my magic." Discord said.

"It's okay Discord. You did your best." Fluttershy assured the draconques.

"Thank you, Fluttershy." Discord said.

"Yeah. I can't really fault him for trying." Rainbow Dash said.

"But let's worry about that later; let's check out Twilight's brand new castle!" Pinkie Pie said.

"Classic Pinkie Pie..." Amiticia said but before he entered with the others, he looked up at the sky. "Mom...dad...I hope your watching over me. I'm going to do you two proud. Or I will unable to live up to the title of The Changeling of Friendship." Amiticia said to the sky.

"Who are you talking to?" Twilight asked.

"Mother and father of course. I'm sure even now their watching over us." Amiticia said.

"I think they are too." Twilight said, smiling as she nuzzled Amiticia who nuzzled the princess back.

High above the pair, a smiling pair of ghost changeling royals looked down at the duo. The changeling King and Queen were reunited at last, and they looked forward to seeing where Amiticia goes from here.

Author's Note

The title dropped in this chapter inside of it, but rest assured there's more to come. And most importantly, while there was a lot going on here, this is not the finale of Season 2. Rather we are only halfway done. Stick around after "MLP: Time Patrol" is completed alongside "Dawn of Friendship" because that's when this story will pick back up.

Season 2: Episode 7 - Moving the Hive

"So, we're heading where again?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"The Changeling Hive of the Badlands. It's where the rest of the changelings were camping. No doubt mother let her will ring out in the hive mind as she died." Amiticia said.

"Do you think the changelings will do as Chrysalis said?" Applejack asked.

"One can only hope they do. If there are those that don't, as the one mother and father entrusted with the hive as it's new king, then it's my job to make sure that any an all who disagree with that statement must fall in line." Amiticia said. "And no doubt, I'd have to resort to fighting some of them." He added.

"Do you have to fight?" Fluttershy asked.

"Changelings settle disagreements with what is known as 'The Challenge' which is more like a sparring match then an actual fight. The rules are quite simple really: Any changelings who disagree with the monarch in charge can challenge the monarch in a battle of wits. This battle of wits revolves in a situation where the challenger changeling is made to try and damage the changeling throne. The ruling monarch's job is to keep the challenger from doing so until the challenger surrenders. Flying is not allowed by either side, only magic is allowed." Amiticia said.

"Oh. Well at least no one gets hurt." Fluttershy said.

"I never said that the rules forbid any sort of spell that can harm anyone. In fact, most of the time, it's encouraged to do so." Amiticia said.

"A bit ruthless, but I suppose when you've been doing things one way for so long, it can be hard to do anything else. I am curious, what happens when one side wins?" Rarity asked.

"If the current ruling monarch wins, the challenger is simply dropped in rank within the hive with no further reprocussions. Though there is the chance that the challenger is already at the lowest rank, in which case, the challenger is instead given a punishment duty chosen by the ruling monarch. Of course, if the current ruling monarch loses, then the challenger is seen as the new ruling monarch and the former monarch must never set foot in the hive again on threat of death. Essentially, the former ruling monarch becomes exiled." Amiticia said.

"But that would mean there's a chance you'd be dethroned!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed.

"Yes there is. But so far to this day, not a single challenger has ever succeeded." Amiticia said.

"Well we'll find out if that holds true soon enough; we're here." Twilight said. The group was right outside the Changeling Hive's boarders.

"I will warn you of one thing before we proceed: Chrysalis made a throne that nullifies magic from non-changelings and we are just outside that range. So once we pass this threshhold, you'll all be powerless. But I won't let any changelings get to you, even at the cost of my own life." Amiticia said.

"Amiticia..." Twilight said. "...I understand. And when this is over, there's something I'd like to tell you." She said.

"As is there something I'd like to tell you too." Amiticia said. The group soon crossed the threshhold but... "...Odd..." Amiticia said. "I don't feel the throne's effects..." He added.

"Is that a good thing?" Twilight asked. Suddenly many changelings approached the group.

"The former Queen Chrysalis told us her final orders. We hear and obey you now, King Amiticia." The Changeling nearest to Amiticia said.

"Um...out of curiosity...what were my mother's final orders?" Amiticia asked.

"In addition to the destruction of her special throne, the entire hive is to follow your orders from here on as she has named you her successor, your highness." The Changeling closest to Amiticia explained.

"Did...anyone resent this order?" Amiticia asked.

"Not really. While it will take many of us some time to fully integrate into a pony soicity, it is a task us of the badlands hive are willing to do. After all, we felt what Chrysalis felt during her final moments alive and how ponies and changelings could live in unison as one." The Changelings closest to Amiticia said. "But...Pharnyx is being a bit more worried about the whole ordeal. After all, his brother is still missing." He added.

"I see. Pharnyx, if you are here, know that I will do what I can to find your brother. You can even help with that matter if you wish." Amiticia announced. Another changeling suddenly rushed forward.

"You mean that?" Pharnyx asked.

"I wouldn't be doing my job as the new king if I didn't try to find him at all." Amiticia said.

"Oh thank you. I'll be sure to do what I can then, your highness." Pharnyx said.

"Good. But before we begin the search for Thorax, I want everyling to pack their things; as of this moment, this hive will relocate to Ponyville where we will reside in Princess Twilight's Castle. I want all of you to make sure that just like me, you treat her with respect. And if there's something she wants your help with, I want you do what you can to help her. Does everyling understand this?" Amiticia asked.

"It'll be as you wish, King Amiticia." The Changeling who spoke before Pharnyx said. The entire hive began to go pack their things.

"You...planned to do that from the beginning when your position as King became uncontested, didn't you?" Twilight asked.

"Well I can't be going back and forth. Plus, that new castle of yours has more then enough space for us all. Besides...it leads into something I wanted to ask you." Amiticia said.

"Well, what is it?" Twilight asked.

"I was wondering Twilight, if you'd like to consider me; as you ponies say; your special somepony?" Amiticia asked. Twilight blushed.

"You know...the funny thing was, I was going to essentially ask you the same question." Twilight said.

"Then is that a yes?" Amiticia asked.

"But of course it is." Twilight said. "I love you, King Amiticia." She added.

"I love you too, Princess Twilight." Amiticia said.

Author's Note

What did you expect there to be a point where Starlight was going to get to reform the entire hive like in the main timeline? Yeah no. Sorry about that folks; no such luck. That does not mean Starlight won't become a part of this story, she will just have a much different "save equestria" moment instead.

Season 2: Episode 8 - Something More

"You know something Amiticia, I was a bit worried that having this entire castle would overwelm me eventually." Twilight said. "But now that your entire hive has joined us, it's not so bad." She added.

"That's part of why I did this; this castle deserves more to live inside of it." Amiticia said.

"This place really is huge King Amiticia; even I am blown away by just how much room there is." Pharynx said. "There's enough room for everyling and then some." He added.

"That's part of the point. Pharynx, I want you to gather changelings who want to be guards. You may even join this guard detail yourself if you want." Amiticia said.

"What are you thinking, your highness?" Pharynx said.

"This castle is very huge, and without a proper guard detail, it would be very easy for those that are evil to sneak in here." Amiticia said.

"I see where your going with that; someling's been taking notes." Twilight said.

"Heh, what can I say? You've been a great friend, and hopefully; as you call it; a great special somepony." Amiticia said.

"King Amiticia, do you mean to say that you are pursuing Princess Twilight Romantically?" Pharynx said. Amiticia suddenly blushed feriously.

"...Wow...okay, so I know the feeling is mutual then." Twilight said.

"Wait you too? Since when?" Amiticia said.

"Gradually over the time you've been with me. Especially after that Alicorn Amulet thing with Trixie." Twilight said.

"For me I'd say it was the day before you became an Alicorn when I really started to have such a crush on you." Amiticia said. "I didn't want to say anything in case...you know..." He said. "I didn't want to ruin the friendship we have." Amiticia said.

"Trust me Amiticia, it'd take a lot more then me not returning your feelings to ruin our friendship." Twilight said.

"Wow...you really care for his highness a lot don't you, Princess Twilight?" Pharynx said.

"You could say that, yes. Which is why I wouldn't be surprised that in the future, me and him become much more then just friends." Twilight said. Amiticia deep blushed at that.

"Well I doubt you know that Changelings can sense feelings; more then just love." Pharynx said.

"Actually Pharynx I did already tell her about that. Let's just say that I've been here for longer then you think I have." Amiticia said. Suddenly a changeling showed up.

"King Amiticia, Twilight's Friends are at the front door." The new changeling said.

"Oh right. I forgot I asked them to come by today." Twilight said.

"What for?" Amiticia asked.

"It's about that map." Twilight admitted.

"Oh right. That map of Equestria." Amiticia said.

"...What map?" Pharynx asked.

"It's probably best if we show you." Twilight admitted.

"Ah, I see what you mean now." Pharynx said. What he was looking at was a huge table that projected a hologram of Equestria as the rest of the main six came in.

"So what is this about the map?" Applejack asked before sitting in her respective chair.

"Well I was hoping that we could figure out what this is for. I can't help but feel it's important to my duties as the Princess of Friendship." Twilight said.

"Knowing the six of us, it shouldn't take long to figure it out." Rainbow Dash said, sitting in her respective chair.

"I agree darling, we've managed to face down Nightmare Moon, Discord, and Lord Tirek; I say that we can do anything together now." Rarity said sitting in her respective chair.

"Speaking of Discord, Fluttershy?" Twilight turned to Fluttershy.

"He's been doing just fine." Fluttershy said as she sat in her respective chair.

"Well once we figure this map out, we should totally throw him a welcome back party." Pinkie Pie said as she sat in her respective chair.

"Spike, take notes." Twilight told Spike.

"Gotcha." Spike said and hopping into the chair made for him just before Twilight sat in her chair. The moment Twilight sat in her chair, the cutie marks of the main six suddenly started glowing before a holographic image of each one started swirling on the map.

"Whoa! Didn't expect that to happen..." Amiticia said.

"Wonder what this is about?" Twilight wondered. The images of their cutie marks hovered across the holographic map until they settled on one particular place.

"So...what's that about?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"I think...the map is telling us to go there." Twilight said.

"That would be my best guess too. Just be safe okay Twilight?" Amiticia asked.

"Of course Amiticia." Twilight said.

"And...I have something to tell you when you get back." Amiticia said.

"Same here." Twilight said and left with her friends.

The day passed without Twilight and her friends coming back.

"This starting to worry me..." Amiticia said. "I want to go after...I want to help Twilight." He said. "After everything she's done for me, I want to be able to help her somehow. Whatever duties she has as the Princess of Friendship, then I; King Amiticia the Changeling of Friendship; want to share in those duties." Amiticia said. Suddenly the castle started to shake before a new throne emerged; this one had Amitica's horns on it. "What is that?" Amiticia said before sitting in the throne. Suddenly his antlers glowed before a holographic image of them suddenly went over the area he knew Twilight and the others must have gone to, but a bit of the ways to the north. "...I knew it. There's something more going on there. I had an inkling of it. I could just feel it. It's almost like I can sense there's something wrong with Friendship ever since mom died." Amiticia said. "And as the Changeling of Friendship, I want to help make sure friendship is spread as far as it can." He added.

It took Amitica a while to get there, but he made it. And just in time, a unicorn was about to make off with the cutie marks of Twilight and her friends. Of course, Amitica would have none of that and soon captured the unicorn in his magic.

"What the..." The Unicorn mare said.

"Amiticia?" Twilight asked as she ran up to him. "I guess the map decided to send you after Starlight stole the cutie marks of me and my friends..." She asked. "She's been stealing the cutie marks of every pony at that village me and my friends were sent to." Twilight said.

"Well you can get the cutie marks back now. I think your part is done. Now it's my turn." Amiticia said. "After all, there's something more to this. I can feel it. No one would just go around stealing cutie marks without a reason." He added.

"You know nothing! Cutie Marks are a poison as they make everypony different!" Starlight said.

"That's not true. Being different doesn't mean you can't be friends with anyone. You don't even need to be a pony." Amiticia said.

"What are you talking about? What are you, anyways?" Starlight said.

"My name is King Amiticia; I am the Changeling of Friendship." Amiticia said.

"Ch-changeling?!" Starlight exclaimed. "But you look so...different then how changelings look in the books I've read..." She added.

"I've grown so close to ponies, learnt their culture, and even become friends with so many, that at this point, the fact that I am a changeling and they are ponies does not exist to devide me and them. By forcing Princess Twilight and her friends to stay here, you were preventing me from seeing Princess Twilight." Amiticia said.

"Why do you care so much for her?" Starlight asked. But then she realized the reason and gasped. "Your...your in love with her..." Starlight said, voice barely above a whisper. "But your so...different..." She added.

"So? It's not what's on the outside that matters, but what's on the inside. That's what really counts. Because who you are inside is the truth, and so long as you let that truth be the you you let others see, friendship will always find you. Possibly even something more then that." Amiticia said. Starlight began to cry.

"I'm sorry...I'm sorry...I'm so so sorry..." Starlight said, tears flowing. Twilight returned to Amiticia's side.

"It's not too late Starlight; you can still accept friendship. If you want, I can help you." Twilight said.

"But you don't know what I've been through." Starlight said.

"I can sense it, your emotions. You want to accept friendship, but your worried that it'll end in failure. There's a deep rooted issue in your past. But you can't keep what happened to you in the past define your future. Look beyond what happened, and try again. The only pony; nay; the only being that can make sure the friendships you make don't fade away, is you and you alone." Amiticia said.

"I'm still scared..." Starlight said.

"It's only natural to be scared. But me and Amiticia can help you. I'll even take you on as my student." Twilight said.

"I...okay...just please...help me..." Starlight said.

"We will." Amiticia said. His horns as well as the cutie marks of the main six flashed again.

"Are we being called back to the map?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"No...I think that means our work is done here." Twilight said.

"I couldn't agree more." Amiticia said. "Your coming with me and Princess Twilight, Starlight Glimmer. While you will be punished for what you've caused, I think in time, this will be nothing but a bad memory." He added.

"But what about the town?" Pinkie Pie asked.

"I think we're going to stay put." Double Diamond said. "Starlight Glimmer may have forced us to come here, but I think we can make this place work." He added.

"Forgive me..." Starlight said.

"We'll see if your serious first." Double Diamond said as he and the town residents left.

"...They hate me..." Starlight said.

"Give them time. They'll forgive you eventually. No one can hold onto hate forever." Amiticia said.

And thus the main six and Amiticia began the long journy home with Starlight Glimmer in tow.

Season 2: Episode 9 - A Prince No More

"You found him?" Amiticia said to Shining Armor as he and Cadence brought in a changeling they found in the Crystal Empire.

"Seems he was so nervous we'd prosecute him, but when we told him you wanted to see him, he revealed himself to us." Shining Armor said.

"You've found my brother, King Amiticia...I can't thank you enough." Pharynx said.

"I apologize for not coming to you sooner your highness, I was scared that it was a prank or perhaps even a trick by our mother..." Thorax said.

"It is no trick Thorax; our mother really did sacrifice herself and wanted us to live together with Ponies in peace." Amiticia said. "No need to hide anymore; we are welcomed by ponies with open arms." He added.

"I think that's in a large part because of you, King Amiticia. It seems word spread of Chrysalis's sacrifice and your support to Equestria's newest Princess during Lord Tirek's Rampage. Now all of pony kind more or less is willing to consider Changelings just as much of an accepted race as much as ponies themselves." Cadence said.

"With that, we should take our leave. Take care sis." Shining Armor said before he and Cadence left.

"I guess you were right...all that truely matters is what's on the inside." Starlight said.

"Your friend Sunburst is up next on the 'to find list'. Reuniting with him would help you immensely I feel." Amiticia said.

"Right now, I'm just waiting to hear back from Princess Celestia about Sunburst." Twilight said. Spike came in holding a letter. "...Well that didn't take long. I sent that letter an hour ago." Twilight said.

"I don't think this is about Sunburst; this letter was marked as an emergency send." Spike said.

"Emergency send? What's that?" Amiticia said.

"It means it's a high priority message." Twilight said, she took the letter into her magic and started reading it.

"If it's high priority, Sunburst can wait." Starlight said.

"Let's see here...oh you've got to be kidding me!" Twilight said.

"What is it?" Amiticia asked.

"It's that no good pompous know it all Prince Blueblood. Seems he's still trying to get Ponyville to be demolished all because things happened at the first Grand Galloping Gala me and my friend attended." Twilight said.

"Seems I'm out of the loop again. Exactly what happened at that Gala?" Amiticia asked.

"Well..." Twilight began.

"...Okay, how can anyone blame Ponyville for that?" Amiticia asked.

"This Prince Blueblood doesn't sound like a nice guy..." Starlight said.

"No. No he's not. He's so stuck up on himself that he thinks he's better then everypony else. It's so sickening. Ugh...guess I'll have to go take care of this mess once and for all." Twilight said.

"I'm coming with you. No way am I letting you go alone." Amiticia said.

"Your highness?" Pharynx questioned.

"Ponyville is where Twilight's Castle is, in case you forgot. Pharynx, until I come back, watch the home front. I'm going to be giving this Prince Blueblood a piece of my mind." Amiticia said. "Because if he dares threaten the home of the Princess of Friendship, then he'll have to answer to the Changeling of Friendship." He added and went to go pack.

"Damn that's the second time Amiticia really sticks his neck out for you, Princess Twilight. Seems you mean a lot to him." Pharynx said.

"I don't think it's just my neck he's looking out for this time..." Twilight said.

Hours later, Twilight and Amiticia arrived at Canterlot, and found Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, Princess Cadence, Shining Armor, and some pony Amiticia didn't recognize next to them all.

"Thank you for coming on such short notice, Twilight." Celestia said.

"So, your really willing to just defend what happened then? It doesn't change things that your a Princess. In fact, I refuse to acknowledge you. However..." The unfamiliar pony said. "I might be willing to change my mind and overlook what happened, if you agree to an arranged marriage with me." He added.

"...Are you the one referred to as Prince Blueblood?" Amiticia asked.

"Huh...at least someone is knowingly addressing me by my title. Yes, I am the ever so valiant--" Blueblood said before suddenly his mouth was shut off by Amiticia's magic.

"Let me make one thing very clear to you then: You may be a Prince, but I am a King. And I am currently; as you ponies say; Twilight's coltfriend. So I'd advise changing that tune around the likes of me if you want to keep that title of yours." Amiticia said and released Blueblood from his magic.

"This is absurd! Your threatening the likes of me?" Blueblood said.

"Well Amiticia is not wrong: He is the King of the Changelings right now. And I would definatly advise treating him with the proper authority." Princess Celestia said.

"Hmph. You expect me to acknowledge the title of some non-pony creature? I don't care what he's done to be gifted his tittle, he's not nobility." Blueblood said.

"Hate to break this too you, Blueblood, but Amitica's mother was Queen Chrysalis, and since she named him as her heir to the throne when she died, how about you do the logic from there?" Twilight asked. Blueblood's jaw dropped.

"You...surely must be joking. Your joking with me right?" Blueblood said.

"Nope. Afraid not bucko. And I have since relocated the hive I inherited from my mother to Twilight's Castle in Ponyville. So by threatening to demolish Ponyville, you are also threatening demolishing the new location of my hive. So I'd choose your words from here on out VERY carefully." Amiticia said.

Oh Amiticia's wasting no time backing that no good Blueblood into a corner. One wrong move and it's no more prince title for Celestia's Nephew. Twilight thought to herself.

"M-my apologies your lordship! I guess if equestria's newest Princess is dating one of such high standing such as yourself, then who am I to get in the way of that? I suppose I'll also back off on demolishing Ponyville, provided those five ponies who were with Princess Twilight on that night turn themselves in." Blueblood said.

"Those ponies are my friends, and I won't allow you to prosecute them under any circumstances!" Twilight said.

"Oh come on now, you simply cannot be excusing their actions." Prince Blueblood said.

"In case you've got short-term memory, allow me to tell your the list of their accomplishments: They've successfully cleansed Nightmare Moon and made her go back to being Princess Luna; they've managed to overcome and reform Discord; and above all else, they also made sure the magic Lord Tirek stole went back to the owners he stole it from. So after all that, your still going to prosecute five of Equestria's heroes?" Amiticia asked.

"Someling's been paying attention to the things I've told him." Twilight said.

"Thank you." Amiticia said.

"THAT DOESN'T MATTER! I DEMAND JUSTICE!" Blueblood said.

"ENOUGH!" Celestia said in the royal canterlot voice. "Blueblood, I am ashamed to call you my nephew right now. But your words and actions here today leave me no choice. After an account from Rarity about your own actions and words towards her at the gala, I was hoping that was a one time thing, but it seems that you have learnt nothing." Celestia said. "So by royal decree, I hearby strip you of your royal tittle and consider you exiled from Equestria. Pack your things, nephew of mine; your leaving." She added.

"WHAT?! THIS IS ABSURD!" Prince Blueblood said.

"NOW!" Celestia said.

"I'd advise doing what she says." Amiticia said.

"You'll pay for this! All of you will! I'll make sure of it eventually!" Blueblood said and went to go pack his things. Shining Armor approached Amiticia. Twilight was worried that Shining Armor was going to pull the overprotective big brother routine on Amiticia.

"Thanks for sticking up for my sister and her friends." Shining Armor said.

"I'm the Changeling of Friendship; I wouldn't be living up to my title if I didn't do that." Amiticia said.

"Your alright in my book Amiticia. Twilight couldn't have picked a better coltfriend." Shining Armor said.

"Thanks...I think..." Amiticia said, a bit confused.

"Just a word of warning: You better not break her heart, or you'll have me to answer to." Shining Armor said.

"Trust me, Shining Armor; I wouldn't dare break Twilight's heart." Amiticia said. "I'd sooner feed myself to a hydra then do that." He added. Shining Armor whistled as Amiticia and Twilight left.

Oh he's really in love with my sister; that much I can say for sure. He didn't even flinch. Guy's got a hell of a spine. And that's after he stood up to Blueblood; BLUEBLOOD. I've seen noble ponies back off of that guy but Amitica? He wasted no time in pulling his weight. Backed the pompous jerk into a corner without a second thought. Twily's lucky to have him. Shining Armor thought to himself.

Author's Note

Amiticia must really love Twilight with all his heart if he's willing to waste no time in backing the now ex-prince Blueblood into a corner and not even batting an eyelash at Shining Armor.
So what will become of the nephew of Princess Celestia from here? Only time will tell.

Season 2: Episode 10 - Starlight's Progress

Over the course of the next few weeks, Starlight has been making great progress, and has even managed to get most of Ponyville to open up to her; including all but one of the elements.

As for the elements themselves, Pinkie Pie was surprisingly the easiest to make friends with, though considering the Party Pony was all about smiles, that wasn't really that hard to do.

Fluttershy was also fairly easy to make friends with as well; and Starlight even appreciated the fact that Fluttershy would look after so many animals. The unicorn mare even going so far as to comment that Fluttershy was probably the best at taking care of animals with how many there were. Even though Fluttershy tried to play it off as no big deal, Starlight did at least say that she's never seen a pony take care of so many different creatures. That did resonate with Fluttershy quite a bit.

Rarity was next after that, and she too was fairly easy. What really resonated with the fashionista was when she found out that Starlight did sometimes donate money to a specific charity; specifically one that was to help foals who were born with a disability.

However, it was during Starlight's work on Applejack's Farm, when the unicorn mare realized what the charity was really doing; making Starlight frustrated about it.

"You know, I REALLY thought that charity was legit. I mean, helping foals with disabilities is a noble goal after all." Starlight said to Applejack.

"Ya didn't know at the time, so ya can't beat yerself up for it." Applejack said.

"Maybe, but I really don't like bait & switch approaches like that. Disabilities don't make anypony different where it really matters. I should know, as my mother had a disability of her own and she was no different then any other mother in the village I came from." Starlight said.

"Wait, yer mother had a disability?" Applejack asked.

"Would I have supported a charity that advertise it'd help disabled ponies if someone close to me didn't have one of their own?" Starlight asked.

"Good point..." Applejack admitted.

"It's still frustrating. Don't know what I'm going to do with the spare bits I get every month that I don't put into savings." Starlight said, sighing.

"You'll figure out something, you've got a good head on yer shoulders." Applejack said.

"Thanks for the vote of confidence." Starlight noted.

This conversation would show both Applejack and Rarity that while Starlight may have had problems with cutie marks, she was more concerned over foals who didn't really work like others did. It was something Twilight had taken note of that was happening under Celestia's own nose. Of course, Starlight never really had much trouble gaining favor with her teacher, let alone Amiticia. The two did what they could to help Starlight establish a baseline with the other elements and so far, things were looking up.

But with the recent news that Cadence and Shining Armor were going to be having a child soon, Starlight would really like to be able to explore the Crystal Empire on her own merits without the need for changeling guards needing to constantly watch over her. In order for Starlight to not need the changeling guards watch over her, Starlight needed the consent of all the elements to agree that she can be trusted by herself.

There's just one problem with this right now for the unicorn mare, and it's been the hardest task yet: Rainbow Dash.

It seemed to Starlight that no matter what she tried with the recent Wonderbolt Cadet, Rainbow Dash was just not giving full support towards Starlight, with the cadet saying that she just doesn't trust Starlight at all. And with Cadence's child due any day now, Starlight is struggling. It's obviously making the Unicorn mare frustrated beyond belief.

And sadly, Twilight and Amiticia have no idea where Starlight can proceed from here with Rainbow Dash. Which is only adding to Starlight's frustration. And without Rainbow Dash being able to click with Starlight, the Changeling guards for Starlight are looking more and more likely to have to take the trip to the Crystal Empire when everyone gets that invitation to the Crystaling. Which considering how close to the frozen north that is, is not ideal.

Twilight has found a way to keep Amiticia warm while they were over there, which was great for him, but he was concerned about the guards. As such, Twilight had to make an ultimatum: If Starlight wanted to go with Twilight and her friends to the Crystal Empire, then Starlight needed to get Rainbow Dash's approval.

And right now, there was a seemingly impossible brick wall between that pegasus and the unicorn mare.

So out of options, and wanting to go with, Starlight decided to try one final thing. And if this didn't work, there was nothing left.

Starlight met with Rainbow Dash and decided that today, she was going to try the one thing she hasn't done with Rainbow Dash yet: Doing a bit of a small competition between the two. It was the only thing Starlight has not done yet with Rainbow Dash, and she was really hoping things would not come to this, but she was out of options. Nothing like the Iron Pony Competition Rainbow had with Applejack, but something that she believed the two of them could finally bound over.

Starlight's goal here wasn't to win, her goal was to bound with Rainbow Dash over it. This was her last ditch effort to gain Rainbow Dash's trust, and the unicorn wasn't about to let it go to waste.

While Rainbow Dash had managed to win the whole thing; not that Starlight was aiming to win in the first place; Starlight did decide to congratulate Rainbow Dash.

"What can I really say? You beat me and I have no complaints. I did my best and I suppose it just wasn't enough." Starlight said.

"It was something fun I'll give you that. But I still don't trust you." Rainbow Dash said. Starlight's heart sank. What more did she need to do with this mare?

"I don't know what your grip is with me. I've done all I can think of to do with you. Everything even. And if I can't get your trust, then Twilight won't let me go to the Crystal Empire." Starlight said.

"Not my problem." Rainbow Dash said.

"Look, I don't know you don't trust me so much, but I have a strong feeling that if I can't go to the Crystal Empire, I might not be able to reconcile with Sunburst. And that's important to me. There's a strong possibility that Sunburst could be there, and if he is, I don't want to have to hang back." Starlight said.

"You took the cutie marks of me and my friends, plus an entire village. You'd have to do something pretty strong to be able to make up for all that." Rainbow Dash said. "So until you do, your not trustworthy enough for me." She added.

"Your not listening to me...can't you just give me the chance? Maybe if I go, I might be able to help somewhere in the Crystal empire with Cadence's baby. And besides, if something goes horribly wrong, I'd like to be able to help you if I can." Starlight said. "All I need is the chance..." She added.

"...Fiiiiine..." Rainbow Dash groaned. "You get once chance with this. I'll tell Twilight that I'll trust you enough to be able to come to the crystal empire with us without your changeling guards needing to be there. If you behave while we're over there, I'll see about trusting you outside of the castle without those guards. And heck, if Sunburst is over there, then I expect you to reconcile with him. But if he's not, I do expect you to behave at the least." She explained.

"Thank you." Starlight said.

"But just so you know, this is your one chance to prove you can be trusted without those guards needing to be watching over you. And if you can't do that well...then you can just forget ever earning my trust. Period." Rainbow Dash said. "Do I make myself clear?" She asked, staring Starlight down.

"Crystal..." Starlight said. Well at least she could go the empire now.

Ironically, Sunburst was there, and Starlight being able to reconcile with him was the thing that helped out the most about that. Which did make Rainbow Dash glad that she did sign off on letting Starlight go to the crystal empire without needing the guards to go with her. So Rainbow Dash ultimately did start to loosen up around Starlight once they got back. Now perhaps, Starlight could make real progress.

Author's Note

I know I basically glossed over the events of "The Crystaling" here, but honestly, even with Amiticia there, nothing really changed enough to warrant a full chapter dedicated to those events. Seriously, outside of maybe a couple of lines out of Amiticia, everything would still play out the EXACT SAME. And with me not really having much to add to those events, I figured I might as well just briefly mention those events without really going over them all. Because the two parter is more focused on Starlight and Sunburst reconciling then it is in regards to Flurry Heart.

Season 2: Episode 10 Bonus - After The Journey Encounter

As the alternate version of Cozy Glow left, Twilight went up to Amiticia, seeing the look on his face.

"Is something the matter Amiticia?" Twilight asked.

"I'm not exactly sure if this is good news or bad news but..." Amiticia said. "That Cozy Glow...I could sense she had changeling blood in her." He added.

"Well, there's only one way to find out if someone like her can exist in our version of equestria. Ready to head back for round two?" Twilight asked.

"Thought you'd never ask." Amiticia said, smiling; knowing exactly what Twilight was implying. Even though the two were not officially wed yet; their wedding not for another few weeks; they already felt like they were husband and wife.

Season 2: Episode 11 - Return of Blueblood Part 1

A few weeks have gone by since the incident with at the Crystal Empire. It was now wedding day between Twilight Sparkle and Amiticia. Of course, everything about the wedding up until the day of it was kept as a media black out. So of course, Twilight Sparkle took the time to write to her brother that "payback is a bitch" which made her brother just groan in defeat while making her sister in law laugh.

"You sure know how to get me back for not telling you of my wedding until the last minute." Shining Armor had said to his sister.

"Well I'm just glad there's no danger of changeling replacement, but just in case there are other bad changeling hives out there, I did take super extra precautions this time." Twilight said. "Such as making sure that you and Candence knew mine and Amiticia's code phrases, considering you are my best stallion." She added. "Which is why, just to let you know it's me, I hate stinky cheese." She concluded.

"I still don't know why you both went with dairy products of all things. Cheese and Milk? Seriously sis?" Shining Armor said.

"I personally think it's cute." Twilight Velvet said. "Shows how in synch you are with Amiticia." She added. Twilight giggled.

"Your mother is right. But she should really be over with said King." Nightlight said, coming into the room.

"Sorry, just wanted to see my little girl one time before she's married to the Changeling of Friendship." Twilight Velvet said before leaving the room.

"Mom means well." Twilight assured her father.

"I know. While I may think no stallion could ever really deserve you, after the whole thing with Blueblood that Shining told me about, I am convinced that Amiticia will treat you right. He has, hasn't he?" Nightlight asked.

"Amiticia is the purest sort of gentlecolt there is. Though, between you and me dad, we have been trying already for a child of our own." Twilight said.

"Before even being married? Why so soon?" Nightlight asked.

"While the wedding wasn't until now, we already felt so much like husband and wife. Plus, I'm marrying someone who loves me for being me instead of my title. Same applies to my husband. I would've never thought that the same changeling that crashed into my library's basement all those months ago would one day be the same stallion I am marrying here today. If someone had told me that I would marry something that crashed into the basement of the Golden Oak's Library, I'd have labeled them insane in a heartbeat." Twilight said.

"Admittedly, I never would've thought the same either. But Amiticia is admittedly the only real fit for you sis." Shining Armor said.

Meanwhile, Amiticia was being suited by Cadence before Twilight Velvet came in.

"So Amiticia...how long is it until you and Twilight give me another granddaughter to spoil?" Twilight Velvet asked.

"Twilight warned me you'd ask that. So to that I say, I hate spoiled milk." Amiticia said. Twilight Velvet just looked confused.

"It's Amiticia's code phrase. Don't ask me why they both chose dairy products." Cadence assured her mother-in-law.

"In all serious though, me and Twilight have already been trying. I'm sure it's just a matter of time." Amiticia said.

"Before the wedding is through? I just hope you know what your getting into." Twilight Velvet said.

"We already felt like husband and wife before this, so we just did what we felt was right." Amiticia said. That actually got a smile out of Twilight Velvet.

"My daughter really did bag herself one heck of a stallion. Is it...alright to call you a stallion?" Twilight Velvet asked.

"Call me a stallion all you want to; I actually prefer it if you did. Because the changeling word for males of our species is...not a nice one. Trust me, it is a word I daren't say ever again. Not after Twilight and I learned what word it is..." Amiticia said.

"It surely can't be that bad...can it?" Twilight Velvet said. Amiticia motioned his soon to be mother in-law forward before whispering in her ear which caused the mare's eyes to go wide. "That...your lucky you didn't say that outload, or I'd have to wash your mouth out with soap!" Twilight Velvet said.

"And now you know why I prefer it if you did call me a stallion." Amiticia said.

"Yeah...I think I'll just call you a stallion instead of...that..." Twilight Velvet said. "Dang it, now I'll not be able to get that word out of my head." She added.

"You wanted to know." Amiticia said.

It was finally time for the wedding, Twilight Sparkle was being escorted to the Alter by her father. Soon she joined Amiticia on the altar.

"Fillies, gentlecolts, and changelings alike..." Princess Celestia said. "We are gathered here today to celebrate the union of these two lovers in holy matrimony. If anyone objects to this union, let them speak now or forever hold their peace." She added.

"I OBJECT!" A sudden male voice shouted from the entrance to the wedding chapel. Everyone turned to the clearly uninvited guest. There, in the doorframe, was none other then the disowned cousin of Celestia and the ex-prince of Equestria, Blueblood.

"Blueblood, I told you to never return." Celestia said.

"Please, you can't tell me what I can and can't do anymore." Blueblood said. Suddenly the entire chapel became swarmed by blood red colored beings before Blueblood suddenly became an alicorn. Season 2: Episode 12 - Return of Blueblood Part 2

The demons had everyone at the wedding chapel tied up, including Celestia.

"This is where things get interesting for you Twilight Sparkle." Prince Blueblood said. "I'm willing to grant your five friends a full parden for their actions at the gala on one condition only: You agree to a marrage with me." He added. "Of course, failure to comply, and I'll not only kill them, but demolish the entire town of Ponyville too." He continued. "So, what's more important to you: Your friends who disrupted the gala, or that pitiful changeling being?" He concluded.

"Before I give you my answer, I have to know..." Twilight started. "Did you sell your soul to these demons?" She asked.

"But of course I did. Only way I could've pulled this off." Blueblood said. Twilight grinned which confused Blueblood.

"That's all we needed to hear." Twilight said. Suddenly magic went away on Celestia revealing her to have been Luna disguised using changeling magic, while everyone else in the wedding hall soon had green flames evolope them, revealing everyone besides the demons, Blueblood, and Luna, to have been changelings the entire time, with Pharynx and his brother taking on the roles of Twilight and Amiticia repsectfully.

"Wh-what on Eques...?!" Blueblood exclaimed.

"It's a little plan Starlight Glimmer came up with, just in case." Pharynx said. "See, she knew you wouldn't have resisted getting ultimate payback on his highness for what he made you lose, so she came up with this brilliant plan of having us with Luna distract you while the real wedding took place elsewhere. Starlight had this happen due to the fact there was something Rainbow Dash wanted to do after the wedding was over, and no way was she going to let you ruin that." He explained.

"YOU MEAN I'VE BEEN TRICKED?!" Blueblood exclaimed, knowing full well that if he couldn't get twilight, he would be cursed to wonder the demon realm forever.

"You bet. And by now, the wedding should be finished up." Pharynx said.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Blueblood screamed as he was dragged into the demon realm; forced to wonder it forever as punishment for not fulfilling his part of the bargain.

Elsewhere, in an unknown location...

"...And without further adiu, the new couple may now kiss." The real Celestia said to the real Twilight Sparkle and real Amitcia. The two kissed each other quite deeply and now it was time to move onto the reception. Just in time for the changelings and Luna who were executing Starlight's plan to show up.

"So, things turn out okay?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Oh yeah. Starlight's plan went off without a hitch. Blueblood won't be showing up around Equestria ever again." Pharynx said.

"Just ah...never make me and my brother play groom and wife again...please..." Thorax said.

"Sorry. Couldn't think of who else to play Amiticia." Starlight said.

"Chill. You did good Starlight." Rainbow Dash said. It was a couple of weeks ago she had become a proper wonderbolt, and now it was time to ask a certain somepony a certain question. "...Really, thanks for allowing me to do this. Wouldn't have been able to do it otherwise." Rainbow Dash said before flying over to Soarin.

"Hey Rainbow Dash, what is it you wanted to ask me? You mentioned you wanted to ask me something during the wedding reception." Soarin said.

"I was just wondering, this weekend...would you like to go flying..." Rainbow Dash said. "...Together?" She asked.

"It would be my honor to, Rainbow Dash!" Soarin said.

"Thanks." Rainbow Dash then went over to her friends. "...What?" She asked.

"...Did you seriously just ask Soarin Winds of the Wonderbolts on a date?" Applejack asked.

"I have no official comment to be giving at this time." Rainbow Dash said.

"...Thought you were going to ask him to marry you or something." Starlight said.

"First of all, I wouldn't do that here; not during the wedding of one of my best friends. And second of all, I don't know him that well enough yet." Rainbow Dash said before she started drinking her drink. "Gonna do this romance thing my way okay? There, are you happy now?" She said.

"Never change Rainbow, never change." Twilight said.

"I hope I never have to." Rainbow Dash said.

Author's Note

I know it's a bit shorter then most people were expecting (but at least it's not short-short), but I honestly could not come up with enough content for this chapter without going crazy or having seemingly random ass filler that was irrelevant to everything else in the chapter. So I had to cut this chapter short because there was just no way I was going to get around three hundred extra words without including boring ass filler content that had no business being here.
Though considering SoarinDash is a ship that'll be happening in this story, perhaps you can overlook the shorter then average chapter.

Season 2: Episode 13 - The Wedding Aftermath

The newly wedded couple was leaving to go on their honeymoon, and is tradition before they left, Twilight would toss the bouquet of flowers and someone would catch it. Of course, many single mares were scrambling for the bouquet of flowers.

"...Remind me again, why do ponies care about catching a cluster of flowers?" Pharynx asked Rainbow Dash; one of the only mares there not scrambling for the flowers.

"Some old mare's tale; whoever catches the bouquet is said to be next to get married." Rainbow Dash said.

"And ponies actually believe that?" Pharynx asked.

"Well...I don't know. Twilight just so happened to catch the bouquet by random chance. I highly doubt it's true." Rainbow Dash said. The mares were currently fighting over the Bouquet. "...I say we move on now. They'll be at this for a while." Rainbow Dash said.

"Where'd the flowers go anyways?" Pharynx asked. "Just curious." He said.

"I'd...rather not say..." Rainbow Dash said with a blush.

"...You caught them by chance didn't you?" Pharynx asked.

"SHHHH! SPOILERS!" Rainbow Dash said and then everyone left after realizing the flowers were missing.

"So, I guess we'll see if that whole wedding thing with the flowers is true for you in your future." Pharynx said.

"I don't really believe that kind of stuff." Rainbow Dash said. "I personally think it's a bunch of random chance." She added.

"Heh...not much of a superstitious person huh?" Pharynx asked.

"I say this whole thing is just for kicks. Besides, I'm not that kind of mare." Rainbow Dash said.

"So I can tell, what with the way your choosing to go about romance." Pharynx said.

"Well, I'm going to go train now." Rainbow Dash said.

"Train? Aren't you already a wonderbolt?" Pharynx asked.

"So? I'm always striving to get better and better." Rainbow Dash said. "No sense in holding back." She said and flew off.

"...Huh...reminds me of me..." Pharynx said.

Not much seemed to happen that weekend, though Pharynx had been secretly keeping an eye on Rainbow Dash. It seems that Soarin was just being too...much for the cyan pegasus. As in the fellow wonderbolt was being too...romantic for the athletic pegasus. Thankfully, that was just the weekend. Pharynx approached Rainbow Dash the first chance he got after.

"You okay?" Pharynx asked.

"I'll be fine. I may end up being gay. I'm not sure yet." Rainbow Dash said. "Seems the only pony who understands me and what I'm about is Applejack, even then that's just because we bounded real good over being competitive." She added.

"You like to be competitive huh? I may not be able to pull off one of those Sonic Rainbooms, but I am the fastest changeling flier in the hive. I'd like to see how I hold up against you in a flight race." Pharynx said.

"Your on; I've been meaning to see how good you changelings fly." Rainbow Dash said.

Despite the race being clear for Rainbow Dash to win, Pharynx wasn't that far behind her and Rainbow didn't want to use the sonic rainboom to beat a changeling as she wanted Pharynx to have a fighting chance. She did not expect him to be just as fast as any wonderbolt though.

"Dang...no wonder you got into the wonderbolts. I expected to lose but wow..." Pharynx said. "Guess I need more training." He added.

"You train too?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Yeah. I train almost every day. Not just with flying, but everything else to. Even if we changelings no longer have to worry too much about invaders, that's no excuse to get lax. I didn't become former Queen Chrysalis's most trusted drone for nothing. In fact, I was and still am the highest ranking guard. Speed alone isn't all I'm good at." Pharynx said.

"Interesting. Mind some competitions to see what's what?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"You bet." Pharynx said, smiling.

Throughout the rest of the day, the two of them were practically neck and neck with competitions. Pharynx used his magic as little as possible though.

"Got to admit Pharynx, your pretty awesome for a changeling." Rainbow Dash said to Pharynx after everything was done.

"But we tied so we don't even know which one of us is better then the other." Pharynx said.

"Maybe so, but I actually feel accomplished none the less. Even though I may not have beat you, this has been the best time I've had since Applejack." Rainbow Dash said.

"Heh...you know what, I don't think I've had this much of a great time doing the sort of things I train myself to do on a daily basis either." Pharynx said. "So, we agree to truce this and say that we both won?" He asked.

"Yeah. I can agree with that. I can't wait to hang more with you. I feel like hanging with you, will really help me continue to improve even better then by myself." Rainbow Dash said.

"I can agree with that statement. Let's help each other improve by hanging out like this often." Pharynx said and the two hoof bumped. "You may be a mare, but your so athletic. I don't think I've had this much fun ever." The changeling added.

"And your not afraid to keep things fair just like me. I'm glad for that." Rainbow Dash said.

"I like keeping things fair." Pharynx said. "At least with competition like this. Of course I'd hate to be on the wrong side of the line with you." He added.

"Same. I one hundred percent agree. Your like 20% cooler then all other changelings. See ya around." Rainbow Dash said and sped off.

"Heh...I like her spunk. I could get used to this." Pharynx said.

Author's Note

So after doing some thinking, as you may have noticed, I decided to ship Rainbow Dash with Pharynx instead of Soarin for this fan-fic. This is a ship I don't see used that often and I figured I could set things up for that as you can see. I figured that even though I include Soarindash as a "ship I will write about", with quite a few stories of mine including SoarinDash as a romantic ship, I figured it was time to mix things up around here. I hope you all appreciate this direction I'm taking.

Season 2: Episode 14 - The Return

"I feel like my wings are going to fall off..." Pharynx said, practically panting.

"Same...if Changelings could get into the Wonderbolts...you'd be amongst the best. Hands down. I've been not doing a sonic rainboom on purpose whenever we race and I can tell you, your certainly up there." Rainbow Dash said.

"Heh...I'm not one for showing off. I'm just improving my speed for defenses. Still, competing with you has really done wonders." Pharynx said.

"I can say the same on my end. I can fly for a lot longer and faster without risking a Sonic Rainboom out of nowhere now." Rainbow Dash said. Suddenly two figures overshadowed them.

"...What are you two doing?" Amiticia asked.

"Your highnesses...we were just..." Pharynx began.

"...Having some friendly competition?" Twilight questioned.

"Yeah...how'd you know Twi?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"We know you." Twilight said. Amiticia chuckled.

"Indeed we do. How have things been while we've been gone?" Amiticia asked.

"Very quiet, admittedly. No out of nowhere monster attacks." Pharynx said.

"And trust me, we'd know with how often we've been in the air." Rainbow Dash said.

"Never change Rainbow. Never change." Twilight said and headed inside with the pegasus and two changeling following close behind her.

"I don't think she will change much, your highness." Pharynx said to Twilight.

"Pharynx, you know you don't have to call us by our royal titles, right?" Amiticia asked.

"It's a changeling thing I bet." Rainbow Dash said. "Because sometimes Pharynx will call me Second Lieutenant even if I'm not really a Lieutenant of any sort." She added.

"Wonderbolts are miltiary ranked if I'm not mistaken. Therefore, you would be considered a Second Lieutenant." Pharynx said.

"I'm new to being a full on Wonderbolt; I don't think I have that high of a rank yet." Rainbow Dash said.

"Perhaps, but you'll get it in time." Pharynx said.

"I'm surprised you think so highly of me." Rainbow Dash admitted.

"It's not just the way I think. Trust me, you'll be a Second Lieutenant before you know it." Pharynx said. Rainbow Dash blushed.

"Thanks." Rainbow Dash said.

"Do you think Pharynx will get romantically involved with Rainbow Dash?" Twilight asked.

"They won't show it publicly, but I'd say the chances are high they'll be lovers before the end of the year." Amiticia said.

"Now where does that sound familier?" Twilgiht asked.

Three weeks before the battle with King Tirek

"So Twilight, be honest, are you going to get romantically involved with Amiticia?" Rainbow Dash asked. This caused Amiticia and Twilight to start chocking on their food.

Present day...

"Yeah we are so teasing Rainbow Dash later~" Both Twilight and Amiticia said at the same time before heading for bed. Not for sleep, but for sex.

They were determined to have a child together soon after all.

I know this is a short chapter, but as the season 2 finale, I figured I had to do another short chapter to end off this season like I did season 1. Season 3 will happen as soon as I can get more ideas for this but I really didn't like leaving this season unfinished. So here. Have a season finale albeit short one.

Season 3: Episode 1 - The Truth Behind the Rainbow Part 1

“I can’t believe it…”

If there was ever a single phrase to sum up that day, that was it.

But what happened that day after the events regarding Score and her power-mad father?

Well let us enlighten you.

It all started; as mentioned; the morning after everyone got back. During this time, Rainbow Dash was at Wonderbolt Practice.

Scootaloo; not wanting to be outdone by her idol; spent all day yesterday figuring out how to fly. She had some struggles until Pharynx helped her out. Now; while still not as skilled of a flier as the one she sees as her surrogate sister; the Orange filly has actually begun flying in her free time. And today was no exception.

In fact, Scootaloo managed to fly all the way to Rainbow’s house where she entered.

“I can’t wait to show Rainbow Dash my flying progress. I bet she’ll be thrilled!” Scootaloo said and saw that Dash’s bedroom door was open. She went inside and saw a room decorated with wonderbolt posters, mostly of Captain Spitfire as the sole focus or the main focus. “Wow, Dash sure looks up to Spitfire the same way I look up to her.” Scootaloo said and soon found a diary/journal. “I didn’t know Rainbow kept a diary.” She said and began reading.

So what’s up? It’s been a while diary of mine. Things have been swell…sort of.

I’ve been feeling weird since 5 days ago after getting drunk in a bar. Forgot what happened that day. If things continue into tomorrow, will go see a doctor.

Dark Moon Day 4

So as it turns out, I’m perfectly normal. Perfectly normal for a pregnant mare that is.

So it seems I got wasted and bred. My parents want to have me signed up to have the baby aborted. Buck that noise, I’m staying over at Flutter’s place until the baby is born. Because I ain’t letting this child of mine get bumped off just because I was irresponsible about it.

Sun Moon Day 10

So about that ten month waiting period? It’s just the average. I spent eleven months at Fluttershy’s place. ELEVEN MONTHS! Also, food cravings and mood swings abounded me. Had the baby at least. I gave her a name: Scootaloo. Fluttershy wanted me to name the baby “Scootsaloop” but I decided to compromise with her. Besides, “Scootaloo” sounds more awesome. And more me.

But buck my parents. As soon as the baby was born they found me and took my baby Scootaloo away from me.

Buck them, I’m getting a job and saving my bits to move out to Ponyville pronto!

Cold Moon Day 4

Hey it’s been a while again. Moved out of my house and now am on my own. Took you with me of course. Buck my parents. I want to find my kid, but right now I need to get me a new job and get situated here in Ponyville. They were all too happy to sell me this cloud house for dirt cheap.

Dark Moon Day 8

Today I saw a familiar coat of orange running about Ponyville. I think my eyes were playing tricks on me. No way that was my baby.

Dark Moon Day 9

It was. It was her. The moment she told me her name was Scootaloo, it took everything I had not to tell her the truth right then and there. I simply introduced myself and played it cool. And now she idolizes me. Great. But now I can make up for not being in her life so much if only a little bit. I need more time before I truth bomb her.

Yesterday I became friends with four new ponies because we purified Princess Luna and now Scootaloo really wants to be like me. She’s my child alright.

Been a while. So after much training I’m finally in the Wonderbolts. Won’t be around as much for Scootaloo but I’ll be fine.

That was the last entry; which was written yesterday; and now Scootaloo had to process everything.

“Rainbow Dash is my mom…” Scootaloo said. She suddenly smiled. “BEST. DAY. EVER!” The Orange Pegasus shouted as loud as she could.

“Scootaloo, is that you?” Rainbow Dash said before she found Scootaloo looking at her diary. “Oh…um…” Rainbow Dash began before the Pegasus filly suddenly glomped her.

“MOMMA!” Scootaloo shouted.

Season 3: Episode 2 - The Truth Behind the Rainbow Part 2

Rainbow Dash couldn't help but run a hoof through Scootaloo's mane.

"So...I take it you read everything. I'm glad your not mad at me." Rainbow Dash said. "I don't know what I'd do if you were mad at me." She added.

"Aw come on mom; I may be younger then you, but I'm not dumb. I'm just glad your gonna do your best to be there for me from now on." Scootaloo said.

"Heh...that's my girl." Rainbow Dash said. "Pharynx will most likely be over a bit later. I'm going to show him the same journal. Are you okay with that, my little Scootaloo?" She asked.

"You bet. Oh, also..." Scootaloo said before getting out of Rainbow Dash's grip and taking to the air. She was able to stay there quite well.

"You flying." Rainbow Dash said. "You just had to go and make me 20% more proud of you, huh?" She added.

"Pharynx helped out." Scootaloo said.

"I'm glad he did. There's some real potential that he and I might become married at some point. That would make him your step-dad." Rainbow Dash said.

"Well, he would be an awesome stepdad then. I always knew I was adopted considering the ones who adopted me are lesbians. Or I guess the more accurately their filly-foolers." Scootaloo said.

"You...know what filly-foolers are?" Rainbow Dash questioned.

"I sort of picked up on it after noticing Bon Bon and Lyra act the same way towards each other that my adopted parents do towards each other: Two mares being in love like a stallion and mare couple." Scootaloo said.

"Chip off the old block." Rainbow Dash said. The doorbell rang. "Okay Scoots, you land now, and make sure to bring my journal into the kitchen. I may have already ordered Pizza." The cyan pegasus said before answering the door.

"You had me at Pizza!" Scootaloo said, taking a seat and bringing the journal.

Pharynx was a bit speechless for a while after he was forced to absorb all that information.

"SCOOTALOO'S YOUR WHAT?!" Phayrnx exclaimed before he shook his head. "Sorry, that's a reference to something. Sometimes the stuff Amiticia knows about bleeds through the hive mind." The changeling said.

"I just hope this doesn't effect anything between us." Rainbow Dash said.

"Hey if anything, you'll be an awesome mother. And that's not to stroke your ego, just so you know. Any kid who knows you like I've gotten to know you would agree that having you for a mother would be awesome." Pharynx said. "But you really don't remember who bred you that day?" He asked.

"No. And I highly doubt it's a changeling considering back then you were our enemies." Rainbow Dash said. "One would've sooner drained me of my love then bred me." Rainbow Dash said.

"Too true. This whole thing with Scootaloo does explain some things about you and your behavior that make total sense now." Pharynx said.

"So Pharynx, I have to know: When are you and my birth mother gonna tie the knot?~" Scootaloo asked teasingly. This caused both the Pegasus mare and the Changeling stallion to do a spit take.

"SCOOTALOO!" Pharynx said.

"...Like I said before, she's a chip off the old block..." Rainbow Dash said. "You've learnt well, my little Scootaloo. Your so gonna pay for that later though." She added.

"Actually, Twilight and Amiticia told me to do that the first chance I got while you two were eating something." Scootaloo said.

"...Because of course they did." Rainbow Dash said.

"I can't believe that just happened..." Pharynx said.

Indeed, those were the words that accurately summed up that day, and now, three days later, the truth was revealed to the rest of the main 6, Amiticia, and even the Cutie Mark Crusaders.

Twilight's jaw hit the ground at the news.

"...Yeah I feel the exact same way." Amiticia admitted. Twilight said something incoherent. "...Take your time Twilight dear." The changeling king said to his wife.

"Pinkie_Sense.mlp needs recalibration..." Pinkie Pie said.

"...Pinkie_Sense.mlp? Seriously Pinkie Pie, you are so random." Rainbow Dash said.

"What else is new?" Practically everyone else said.

"I am glad you found each other most of all. It's just...I think I need some time to fully process this." Twilight said.

"Thanks Twilight." Rainbow Dash said.

"I didn't expect to have to throw an emergancy party today." Pinkie Pie said before she fired up her party cannon.

"Oh boy..." Rainbow Dash said before everyone ducked as Pinkie Pie fired her cannon which sent a banner with the label 'Congradulations on finding your birth mother' on it.

"But as I always say: A party pony is always prepared." Pinkie Pie said.

Some time later...

"So, I'm guessing it was you who gave me my scooter for my birthday a couple of years back. It was sent annoymously." Scootaloo said.

"I did. I meant what I said in that journal: Momma's not gonna leave your side ever again." Rainbow Dash said, before hugging her daughter. Everyone just aw'd at the scene.

"Ah didn't think I'd ever live to see the day would do something so...wholesome." Applejack said.

"That makes two of us." Rarity said. Pharynx got in on the hug too.

Mother and daughter were reunited at long last. What more awaits them in the future?

Season 3: Episode 3 - Lend a Helping Rainbow

"You want me to find Scootaloo's birth father?" Starlight asked. "After much it took to gain your trust, you really expect me to just do it?" Starlight asked.

"How many times do I gotta apologize for that? I said I was sorry." Rainbow Dash said.

"Why not ask Twilight when she comes back instead?" Starlight argued.

"I'm asking you." Rainbow Dash said.

"Both of their highnesses are on that friendship mission, yes?" Pharynx asked.

"They are." Starlight said.

"Look, I really want to know who my biological father is." Scootaloo said.

"Please Starlight. If you won't do it for me, do it for Scootaloo. I'll buy you a super sized chocolate covered sunday from Sugarcube corner." Rainbow Dash said. Starlight's eyes went wide at that.

"With marshmallows?!" Starlight exclaimed.

"Yes, with marshmallows." Rainbow Dash said.

"DEAL!" Starlight said. "I'm going to need to borrow that journal of yours." She added and took the journal from Rainbow Dash and got right to work.

"Are you really just going to buy her such a treat?" Pharynx said as he and the two pegasi left the castle.

"I'm a Wonderbolt; I can afford to splurge every now and then." Rainbow Dash said.

"True. I heard you talked with Scootaloo's adopted parents a couple of days ago." Pharynx said.

"Yeah. They were fine with letting Scootaloo live with me and be at my place whenever I was in town. Whenever I'm away for long periods such as for a wonderbolt tour or whenever some bad guy shows up out of nowhere, they'll look after her." Rainbow Dash said. "They're good folk." She added.

"I was a bit worried they wouldn't let me be near Rainbow Dash ever again, but surprisingly they understood things." Scootaloo said. "It's like I have three moms now." She added. Rainbow Dash laughed.

"Wait a second, whose that?" Pharynx said, noticing an injured pegasus in the middle of the town square.

"LIGHTNING DUST? WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO HER?!" Rainbow Dash exlcaimed and went over to the downed pegasus.

"R-Rainbow Dash? Is that you?" Lightning Dust asked.

"Gotta get you to the hospital; save your strength!" Rainbow Dash said.

"No...leave me...I deserve this..." Lightning Dust said.

"No you don't. I won't let you go out like this." Rainbow Dash said. "Pharynx, help me out here." She added.

"You have your reasons I'm sure. Alright, I'll help." Pharynx said.

"My brother did this...I deserve it...leave me..." Lightning Dust said.

"Stop saying that." Rainbow Dash said.

"Everyone, make sure to clear a path for us; we got an injured pony coming through!" Scootaloo yelled out.

"So, your brother did this to you?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"My brother is an abuser. It's why his wife left shortly after she gave birth to her baby girl. A pegasus filly I've heard. I don't know where they went after they left Cloudsdale." Lightning Dust said.

"You didn't deserve to die like that." Rainbow Dash said. "Listen, if you promise to get your act together, if you want, I can talk to Spitfire about giving you another chance at the wonderbolts." She added.

"You'd...do that for me?" Lightning Dust asked.

"Only if you promise to get your act together and stop being so reckless. I don't you doing what you did ever again." Rainbow Dash said.

"It'll...take me a few years but, I think I can handle that." Lightning Dust said.

"You just take care of yourself okay? I better not hear something like this happening again." Rainbow Dash said.

"Yeah..." Lightning Dust said.

"You sure you're doing the right thing?" Pharynx said.

"Hey, you're talking to the Rainbow Dash here. I'm sure Lightning Dust will come around at some point. I'm more concerned with that brother of hers. He really should not have done that." Rainbow Dash said.

"True. That was going too far." Pharynx said. The changeling and two pegasi left the hospital area, but were being secretly watched by a mysterious third Pegasus.

"So, just who is that orange filly following around that worthless Cyan Mare? That mare will pay for what she did to my sister. One way, or another." The pegasus stallion said.

Author's Note

So this season is going to be mainly focused on Rainbow Dash and Pharynx's growing relationship as well as Rainbow Dash in general. Timeline wise, this season takes place between what would've been "To where and Back Again" and the start of Season Seven of the show. Reasons for this will become clear as the season progresses.

Season 3: Episode 4 - Legacy of the Rainbow

"She's really getting into that whole flying thing, isn't she?" Soarin asked Rainbow Dash.

"Yep. It makes me proud of her." Rainbow Dash said.

"You do realize you won't always be around her from now on, right?" Spitfire asked. "That is, should you continue to choose to be a wonderbolt." She added.

"Pharynx is helping her. And I think she's starting to see him as a father figure. Besides, she gets it. She actually wants to become a Wonderbolt like me someday." Rainbow Dash said. "And trust me Spitfire, she's got the gumption to do it." She added.

"You should know, she's your kid." Spitfire said.

"Well, we better get back to training." Soarin said.

"Yep." Rainbow Dash said.

"Scootaloo is getting better and better." Diamond Tiara said. Just last week, the cutie mark crusaders and her became real friends and by doing so, she had been the trigger to help the CMC earn their cutie marks.

"Yeah. She takes after her mother it seems." Apple Bloom said.

"Mother?" Silver Spoon inquired.

"Didn't you hear? Rainbow Dash is Scootaloo's biological mother." Sweetie Belle said.

"What about her biological father?" Diamond Tiara asked.

"Scootaloo believes that until he shows up and apologies to her mother for essentially rutting and running as she calls it, she wants nothing to do with him." Apple Bloom said.

"Apple Bloom, you know we don't use that kind of language." Applejack said.

"Crude laungauge or not, I too would like to give the one who cut out of Scootaloo's life a piece of my mind for abusing our friend Rainbow Dash like that. And while she was weakened by liquor no less." Rarity said.

"I agree one hundred percent." Spoiled Rich said. She's trying to not be as judgemental, and actually try to get along with those that her daughter calls friends. She tried her best to convince her husband, but he refused to budge, and brought up the whole Zap Apple contract between Banyard Bargins and the Apples to hault her arguement about Diamond's new friends in their tracks. "Brash or not, no mare deserves to be used like that." Spoiled Rich added.

"You're telling me. I'm just glad Pharynx is helping her. Changeling or not, you can't argue with the results." Silver Spoon's Mother, Silver Platter said.

"From what Rainbow Dash told me, he trains almost as hard as Rainbow Dash does everyday." Rarity said.

"And Scootaloo has being going through the sae training." Pharynx said as he came up to the mares. "Sorry for interrupting the mare only meeting going on here." He added.

"Crass, but it's not really a meeting of only mares. We were just talking about Scootaloo is all." Spoiled Rich said as Scootaloo landed.

"Pharynx, I think I'm ready." Scootaloo said.

"Ready for what?" Pharynx asked.

"To race you!" Scootaloo said.

"...She's kidding right?" Phayrnx asked.

"I wanna see if I can do a Sonic Rainboom just like mom, and the best way to test that is with a race!" Scootaloo said.

"I don't think your mom's first sonic rainboom being during a race was done just out of nowhere. She managed to do one because of willpower; the kind that comes from helping someone other than yourself." Pharynx said.

"Well I want to be able to do one. I want to make mom proud of me. It's my legacy now." Scootaloo said.

"Legacy?" Spoiled Rich asked.

"Yeah. My mom made a Rainboom, so now it's my turn. I've got to make my own rainboom if I wish to continue my mother's legacy." Scootaloo said.

"That's nice and all, but one simply does not make a Rainboom just because it's their legacy." Pharynx said.

"Well, I'll make one day, you'll see!" Scootaloo said.

A few days pass, and Scootaloo was still trying her best to keep training herself. She had a goal in mind. But just then, a dragon started attacking Ponyville. It was a large dragon that was defiantly not Spike. And the wonderbolts were not able to do much, not even Rainbow on account of the Dragon having a device that stopped pegasi from flying.

"Mom!" Scootaloo said running over to her mother.

"Heh...hey squirt. You need to run." Rainbow Dash said.

"No. I won't run. I've got to save everyone!" Scootaloo said detirmined and got up in the air right away.

"Is she crazy?" Spitfire asked.

"...Yep...she's defiantly Rainbow's kid. I saw the look in her eyes." Soarin said.

"HEY DRAGON BREATH, GET A LOAD OF THIS!" Scootaloo said before she started going faster than she ever thought possible for her the dragon aimed the device but then...

Boom!

Suddenly a cloud of orange and purple smoke filled the air as the sound barrier broke which allowed Scootaloo to destroy the device the Dragon was holding which gave back the pegasi who had their power of flight stolen from them and thus allowed the Wonderbolts to make sure the dragon was captured.

"Garble, I am very disappointed in you." Dragon Lord Ember said. "What were you thinking exactly? No, scratch that. I know exactly what you were thinking, and it was to try and start a war with the Ponies." She added.

"So what if I was? Both you and your father were too soft on them. Ponies are weaker creatures; we dragons should be ruling these lands!" Garble said.

"THAT LINE OF THINKING IS EXACTLY WHY DRAGONS CAN'T GET A GOOD ENOUGH EDUCATION! Because of dragons like you, dragons are banned from most schools in Equestria. I hereby punish you to egg watching duty for the next three weeks." Ember said.

"You think I'm the only one who thinks the way I do? Wake up to reality. It's only a matter of time before a mutiny rises in the Dragon Lands and you won't be able to stop it." Garble said. "And when it does, the days of Ponies ruling Equestria will be over." He added. Ember took Garble back to the dragon lands.

"I hope Garble is wrong." Spike said.

"I hope so too." Sweetie Belle said.

"He has to be." Apple Bloom noted.

"But in the case that he isn't." Scootaloo started.

"We'll be waiting for them." Applejack said.

"And we will be ready for them." Rainbow Dash said. "By the way Scoots, you were awesome. That was more of a Sky Blaster then a sonic Rainboom." She added.

"I wonder if every Pegasus who can break the speed barrier has a different manifestation of the sonic Rainboom." Twilight said. "Perhaps someone has the same manifestation long ago as Rainbow Dash and Rainbow Dash is a descendent of that person." She added.

"That would be awesome. It's like I would have my own legacy if that was the case." Rainbow Dash said.

"I think you already have started one with Scootaloo." Pharynx said.

"He's got a point." Amiticia said.

Season 3: Episode 5 - Rough, Tough, and Buff

Rainbow Dash and Pharynx were enjoying a bit of competition again with Scootaloo, Spitfire, and Amiticia all watching. It's been a couple of days since Scootaloo and her friends earned their cutie marks.

"That Pharynx is some changeling. Maybe Princess Twilight could convince Princess Celestia to let changelings in on the Wonderbolts." Spitfire said.

"Sorry Spitfire, but I hate to be the bringer of bad news." Amticia said.

"...What's the bad news?" Spitfire asked.

"I said I hate to be the bringer of bad news." Amiticia said.

"...I don't get it..." Spitfire noted.

"I'll say it." Scootaloo said. "Pharynx would rather stick on as one of the castle guards then become a Wonderbolt." She explained.

"And that's the bad news." Amiticia said.

"I see." Spitfire said. Suddenly the cutie marks of both Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo started glowing, but what's strange is that Pharynx's wings started to glow.

"Why are my wings glowing?" Pharynx asked.

"A friendship mission perhaps? I want a full report once you're done by the way, Rainbow Dash." Spitfire said.

"You got it." Rainbow Dash said.

Amiticia joined his wife in the map room. "I will say, this will be the second time a changeling gets sent on a friendship mission. Though I expected it to be Amiticia because he is the Changeling of Friendship." Twilight noted as the trio of Rainbow Dash, Pharynx, and Scootaloo said.

"No offense your highness, but I agree with you." Pharynx said.

"From what I can gather, this map only sends those who would be best for solving the problem. After all, there was that point where both Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie were sent to Griffonstone." Amiticia said. "So whatever problem that's going on is going to require your expertise somehow." He added.

"It was thanks to me and Gilda making up that allowed us to help her in getting Griffonstone back on its feet." Rainbow Dash said. "Which played into my loyalty to my friends while Pinkie Pie's happiness spreading was taken into account with Gilda's bakery." She added.

"But how would my ability to help others understand their cutie marks help out?" Scootaloo asked.

"It may not be just that, Scootaloo. With help from Pharynx, you know what it's like to push past your own personal disability and conquer it. Not to mention your part of a trio." Twilight said.

"Disability?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Yes Rainbow, a disability. Scootaloo Wings are underdeveloped for her age yet thanks to Pharynx, she's able to push past that limitation and fly." Twilight said.

"That may be a side effect from you being drunk when you got knocked up for lack of a better term." Pharynx said.

"PHARYNX! SCOOTALOO'S A BIT YOUNG TO BE HEARING THAT SORT OF TALK!" Amiticia yelled.

"...Huh. Didn't think I'd get yelled at by the king." Pharynx said.

"Going to have to agree with him on that: That was a bit too mature for Scootaloo's tastes." Rainbow Dash said.

"I've read your journal mom; I don't think hearing about you being knocked up is going to change much considering I read about it." Scootaloo said.

"...Oh right..." Rainbow Dash said. "Well at least that'll still allow me to teach you about sex when you get that age." She added.

After some convincing on Amiticia's part, the trio arrives in Cloudsdale. Here, they encounter Hoops, Hops, and Dumbell but the trio is on the verge of breaking apart. Scootaloo does her part and actually helps her mother with getting past her past with the trio to help them out. Rainbow Dash is then able to help them out a bit more by understanding where the breakup was coming from.

"Their own parents huh? This is going to be something." Pharynx said. The changeling then proceeded to give each parent a piece of his mind while the mother and daughter duo was helping reform the trio which did eventually work. Unfortunately, it started to seem like Pharynx's attempt was failing.

"Some parents...they can't let their children make their own decisions. They could learn a thing or two from me about that." Rainbow Dash said. Pharynx gasped.

"That's it..." The changeling guard said. "LISTEN UP YOU THREE MOTHERS; YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED TO CALL YOURSELVES THE PARENTS OF THESE THREE! IF THEY WANT TO BE FRIENDS WITH EACH OTHER, THAT'S THEIR CHOICE, NOT YOURS! I should know, I'm a changeling, and now I'm much different them my own mother. AND YOU KNOW WHAT, I DON'T REGRET BECOMING DIFFERENT FROM MY MOTHER! BECAUSE THE ONLY THING SHE WANTED WAS FOR ME AND THE REST OF HER CHILDREN TO BE HAPPY! I BET SHE'S HAPPY UP IN THE AFTERLIFE FOR THE DECISIONS I'VE MADE SINCE SHE DIED. AND I BET SHE COULDN'T BE PROUDER FOR IT!" Pharynx yelled out. However, the three mothers started to gang up on him.

"That's enough! If the three of you can't appreciate us being together, then we're moving out of home. Ponyville sounds nice." Dumbell said.

"Yeah, what Dumbell said." Hoops said. Hops nodded in agreement. The three mothers were dumbstruck as the trio went to pack their things. The three mothers chased after them shortly after just before the marks on Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo glowed alongside Pharynx's wings.

"I take it this means we solved the problem?" Pharynx asked.

"We did." Rainbow Dash said.

"Woo!" Scootaloo said.

A bit later, just before Rainbow Dash, Scootaloo, and Pharynx started to leave, Hops ran up to Rainbow Dash.

"Dash, wait up." Hops said. "I seriously can't thank you for helping me get back together with the others even if you should've just let us break up for all we did to you." He added.

"Couldn't let that happen. Even for what you did, you three deserve to be friends." Rainbow Dash said.

"Still, we owe you big time to make up for all the things we did. Especially me. I was drunk when we were young, but I think I remember seeing you at the bar I was drinking at. My memory is still a little hazy though as I was drunk at the time." Hops said.

"I see. Well, I highly doubt you'd take advantage of me if we were both drunk. I don't remember seeing you though." Rainbow Dash said.

"Like I said, I may be misremembering things." Hops said.

"Well Hops, take care of yourself." Rainbow Dash said.

"You too, Awesome Dash." Hops said. Rainbow Dash's head tilted. "...Did I say something wrong? You are awesome, Dash; don't let anyone ever tell you otherwise." Hops explained.

"That's the first time you actually called me by a compliment." Rainbow Dash said.

"Like I said, I got a lot to make up for. I'm hoping we can at least be friends from here on out." Hops said.

"Just don't get on my bad side again." Rainbow Dash warned.

"Oh, trust me, if I hurt you anymore then I already have, I deserve to be turned to stone." Hops said.

"Heh...your something else Hops." Rainbow Dash said. Hops watched Rainbow Dash, Scootaloo, and Pharynx fly off from Cloudsdale.

"...Hmm...something about that filly reminds me of me a bit." Hops said, referring to Scootaloo. "It's probably nothing." He added and then flew off to continue packing.

Season 3: Episode 6 - Dating the Rainbow

"I've noticed your daughter hanging out with that Rumble colt a lot lately." Pharynx said.

"I just hope that she doesn't end up getting used." Rainbow Dash said.

Meanwhile...

"So, you really believe I'm that awesome?" Scootaloo asked Rumble as the colt massaged the wings of the filly.

"I already thought you were awesome even before Rainbow Dash came out and told everypony you were her biological daughter. If you ask me, that there is just icing on the cake. I have to admit, you've become somewhat of an inspiration for me." Rumble said. Scootaloo smiled.

"Do you know how cheesy you sound right now?" Scootaloo said. "Yet for some reason, I'm not as turned off by it. Is that wrong?" She asked.

"Hey, I get that you're not used to listening to your feelings Scootaloo; believe me, you're my first girlfriend so I'm new to this whole romance thing too. But I've picked up on a few things here and there so I think I can make us work." Rumble said.

"I believe you." Scootaloo said. "Don't know why, I just do." She added. "Because for some reason, I don't think you're just using me." She added.

"Anyone who tries anything like that deserves to be punched in the face, run over by a manticore, poisoned by a chimera, turned to stone by a cockatrice, and then shattered into a thousand pieces by being stomped on by a hydra." Rumble explained. Scootaloo whistled.

"Dang, that's hardcore." Scootaloo said.

"Well, anyone who tries using you deserves nothing less am I right?" Rumble asked.

"I have a feeling I don't have to worry about that with you." Scootaloo said.

Back to Rainbow Dash...

"So, what is it that we're doing today? More competition games?" Pharynx asked Rainbow Dash.

"Actually, I wanted to help you improve further with your flying. I bet with enough training; you could become the first changeling to doing something similar to the Sonic Rainboom." Rainbow Dash said.

"You really think I could do something like that?" Pharynx asked.

"Hey, you're like the toughest person I know besides me. If I didn't think you had the guts to pull off a Sonic Rainboom of your own, I wouldn't have brought it up." Rainbow Dash said. Pharynx smiled.

"That means a lot to me, thanks. So, what's first?" Pharynx asked.

"First, we get some food in our bellies. Can't be training on an empty stomach." Rainbow Dash said.

"Are we really going to take that long? We just had breakfast an hour ago." Pharynx said.

"Considering how much energy I burn doing a Sonic Rainboom, we best make sure you have the fuel to deal with it." Rainbow Dash said.

"Huh...I always wondered how you could stand to eat so much and still stay as physically fit as you do." Pharynx said. That made Rainbow Dash blush.

"H-how did you keep track of all my snacking?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"It's not that hard. I've always had an eye for details." Phayrnx said.

"I see..." Rainbow Dash said.

Later, after a well-balanced meal that admittedly, was more like three meals in one, Rainbow Dash was helping Pharynx out with both hoping for the changeling to break the sound barrier. However, shortly into their training session, Soarin of the Wonderbolts showed up.

"Hey Dash." Soarin said.

"What's up Soarin?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"I was hoping to ask you something." Soarin said.

"What is it?" Rainbow Dash said, sounding bored.

"I was hoping to ask you to give me another chance with the whole...dating thing maybe?" Soarin asked.

"Seriously? Didn't I tell you that you were trying too hard?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"You did say that. That's why I've been avoiding you for this long." Soarin said.

"Thought that was because you didn't want me as a friend anymore." Rainbow Dash said.

"No! Far from it! I was trying my best to figure out how best to become the stallion you need and not the stallion I thought you needed." Soarin said. "And I think I've managed to figure it out. That's why I want this chance." He added. Pharynx butted in.

"And what makes you think you've got a shot now as opposed to then?" Pharynx asked.

"Oh, I see how it is. Look, just because you may be on our side now changeling doesn't mean I can fully trust you all. For all I know, you specifically could be using Rainbow Dash. Starlight came by Wonderbolt HQ asking around about a certain bar the other day, and after flying over Scootaloo and listening to her conversation with Rumble, I put the pieces together from there." Soarin said.

"I thought at this point you would all know about how I'm Scootaloo's mother. I made sure that Spitfire knew about it and everything." Rainbow Dash said.

"Wait you did? I guess she must've forgot to mention that to me." Soarin said. "Still, someone used you for sex back then, and now you need a stallion who won't simply sex you and then dump you like that. And I'm hoping this time, when we have our date, it'll be a lot better than last time." He added.

"Hate to break it to you, but right now, I'm thinking about someone who's not a pony to be the stallion I need. Pharynx has been very good to me so far, and he's not even had one date with me yet." Rainbow Dash said. "I'd say we're really good friends with the potential for even more." She added. She suddenly realized what she just said. "...I just said that outload, didn't I?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"You did." Pharynx said.

"Well then Pharynx, I hereby challenge you to a race." Soarin said.

"You want to race me? For what? The right to be Rainbow Dash's coltfriend?" Phayrnx asked.

"No. Seeing as you haven't had a single date with Rainbow Dash yet, then I say we have our race to decide something more along those lines. In fact, Rainbow Dash can judge our race. The winner will get to date Rainbow Dash in the date of his choosing." Soarin said.

"Whoa whoa whoa, hang on there. I can't be the judge. We need an unbiased person for that." Rainbow Dash said. But then she had an idea. "Wait right here." She sped off and was back within ten seconds holding Fluttershy.

"Um, Rainbow Dash, do you need me for something?" Fluttershy asked.

"Yeah. I need you to help me judge a race." Rainbow Dash said. Suddenly she was holding a bucket of Popcorn and so was Fluttershy.

"Popcorn? Oh, and I hope you don't mind if I join in the judging." Discord said, as he was suddenly there.

"...Normally I'd complain, but so long as you don't mess up the race, I guess you can stick around. Maybe you'll be helpful." Rainbow Dash said.

"The more judges the better I say. Got a problem with that, Wonderbolt?" Pharynx taunted.

"Oh, it is ON now!" Soarin said. "I've got the perfect kind of track in mind. Discord, would you mind peering into my mind and recreating the track I've got pictured in my mind for the race." He added.

"I don't see why I couldn't. This is going to be fun." Discord said, snapping his fingers. Rainbow Dash's jaw dropped.

"Isn't this...the Wonderbolt Obstacle Course that's used to determine who gets to stay at the academy past the first month?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Only a very skilled flier can navigate this. If Pharynx wants to challenge a Wonderbolt, he'll have to race like one." Soarin said. "The rules are simple: First one to complete the course as we both run it simultaneously wins!" He added.

"Don't worry, I took that into account when I remade it." Discord said to Rainbow Dash who facehoofed.

"Of course, you did." Rainbow Dash noted. Discord created a clone to start the race.

"ON YOUR MARKS, GET SET...GO!" Discord announced. The changeling and pegasus stallions were off as soon as Discord fired a gun into the air on "go". The two were practically neck and neck the whole way through.

I'll have to give this changeling credit: He's as good as I thought he'd be. But I'm still going to win this. Soarin thought to himself. The two were nearing the end point at a fast pace, and Soarin started to stray ahead but out of nowhere, Soarin felt a crack in the air before Pharynx suddenly shot forward at blinding speeds, causing a black and red blast to occur as soon as everyone heard a big boom noise happen. "I-I don't believe it..." Soarin said. Pharynx was the first to finish the course by a landslide.

"Was that...a sonic rainboom?!" Fluttershy exclaimed, totally in awe.

"AWESOME!" Rainbow Dash said, before she flew to Pharynx and gave him a tight hug. "I KNEW IT! I KNEW YOU COULD PULL IT OFF!" The cyan pegasus mare said.

"I-I'm not exactly sure what I did. The only thing I could think of at the time was how much I wanted you to be treated the way you should be treated, and not used and tossed aside like you were when you got drunk. Before I knew it, I bypassed the speed barrier." Pharynx said.

"Because of course you did. Breaking the speed barrier is all about willpower." Rainbow Dash said. "I guess thinking about me like that gave you the willpower you needed to make something just like a Sonic Rainboom. Even if it was more like a Sonic Blackboom." She added.

"I was thinking of calling mine the Crimson Shadowboom." Pharynx said.

"Yeah, that makes much more sense. Let's use that." Rainbow Dash said.

"Well what can I say? Can't compete with that. Don't worry about me. Enjoy yourselves on the date." Soarin said.

"Mmm...nah. I think I don't need a date now." Rainbow Dash said.

"What do you mean mom?" Scootaloo asked. She and rumble were there now. "Also, so saw that blast. Crimson Shadowboom huh?" Scootaloo said, smiling.

"What I mean, is I don't need a date to know how I feel about Pharynx. That whole thing with what he said about how he thought about treating me the way I deserve to be treated...really struck a chord with me. So, I think I don't need a date with Pharynx to officially call him my very special somepony. Or I guess special someling in his case." Rainbow Dash said.

"Does this mean you and Pharynx might get married sooner rather than later?!" Scootaloo exclaimed, her jaw dropping once she finished.

"I think so. Should he have me." Rainbow Dash said. Pharynx smiled.

"Heh. You know what? I can't think of anypony or anyling I'd rather be with then you, Rainbow Dash." Pharynx said. Suddenly a transformation not unlike Amiticia's occurred and Pharynx was soon more like Amiticia was now, just black and red. "Whoa...check me out!" Pharynx said.

"Yeah. You defiantly look 20% cooler now!" Rainbow Dash said.

"Guess that settles it then...Pharynx, I guess you were the stallion she needed after all. Not the stallion I was planning on trying to be for her, but the stallion that she needed to have. Just...promise me that you'll take care of her. Because if I hear that you hurt her, I will buck you into next week pal." Soarin said.

"I would hope that you do." Pharynx admitted. The two did a hoof shake and went their separate ways: Soarin towards Wonderbolt HQ, and Pharynx with Rainbow Dash, Scootaloo, and Rumble.

Meanwhile, in an unknown location...

"Finally, I have all the information I need." A male pegasus stallion said. "Brace yourself, Rainbow Dash, because when we meet, I will challenge you to..." The stallion started. "THE ULTIMATE NO WIN SITUTAITON YOU COULD EVER HOPE TO COME ACROSS, OR WILL EVER COME ACROSS AGAIN!" He added before he gave out an evil laugh of maniacal laughter. "YOU WILL PAY FOR WHAT YOU DID TO MY SISTER, AND I WILL HAVE MY REVENGE ONE WAY OR ANOTHER!" The stallion finished. Before the scene ended, one could see a picture of Scootaloo and a picture of Rainbow Dash flying with the wonderbolts. Inbetween those photos written in bright red ink were the words "NO WIN SITUATION" with a picture of Lightning Dust placed just above all of it.

Season 3: Episode 7 - Loyalty Behind the Rainbow Part 1

Rainbow Dash was enjoying her day when suddenly, she noticed a stallion approach Lightning Dust. Rainbow Dash growled and dashed over, with Pharynx and Scootaloo not far behind.

"Just what do you think you're doing?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"R-Rainbow!" Lightning Dust said. "J-just forget me. You don't know what he's capable of..." She added.

"So, we meet at last, Rainbow Dash. But I guess I should really call you, Lamebow Dash. And once I'm through with you, that nickname is gonna stick to you like glue." The stallion said.

"You're asking for trouble buddy." Rainbow Dash warned.

"Please Dash...you don't want to go up against my brother..." Lighting Dust said.

"So this is your brother? Somehow, I expected someone looking well...different." Rainbow Dash admitted.

"Your one to talk. You should know me as Clear Skies. I may not be a wonderbolt like you are right now, but I am very famous. After all, I'm the only Pegasus known for being able to wrangle up Parasprites." The Stallion said.

"Those things? I've encountered those. I happen to know thanks to a friend of mine they are easily attracted to music." Rainbow Dash said. That made Clear Skies's eyes go wide.

"...MUSIC? YOU MEAN TO TELL ME I'VE BEEN WRANGLING PARASPRITES THE OLD-FASHIONED WAY WHEN ALL I'VE EVER HAD TO DO WAS SIMPLY USE MUSIC TO CAPTURE THEM?!" Clear Skies exclaimed.

"Oh boy...my brother is pissed now." Lightning Dust said. Suddenly the wonderbolts showed up, as did Hoops, Hops, and Dumbull. And shortly after them, Crescent Moon arrived shortly after as did three specific pegasi, Rainbow Dash knew as the Wonderbolt Higher Ups.

"What are they all doing here?" Lighting Dust asked. "Brother, you better not be trying to do what I think your going to do..." She added.

"I didn't call them. This was supposed to be between me and Rainbow Dash only." Clear Skies said.

"All we got was a text saying that the wonderbolts are to come to this exact spot alongside the manager; that's me; and the higher ups." Crecent Moon said.

"Well if you didn't call them brother, who did?" Lightning Dust asked.

"Well since they are here, that'll make things easier on me anyways." Clear Skies said. "Rainbow Dash, I hearby challenge you to a game of my own creation." He added before a cage containing Parasprites was brought in by some helper pegasi and both Clear Skies and Rainbow Dash were given baskets.

"What is this?" Spitfire asked.

"This is something I like to call Parasprite Wrangling. I may have zero chance against you, Lamebow Dash, during a race, but when it comes to Parasprite Wrangling I am uncontested. That's why if you want to keep yourself as a wonderbolt, you are going to win against me in my challenge. Because if you lose, you'll be stripped of your Wonderbolt Status once and for all." Clear Skies said.

"You've got to be joking me, my mother would never give up the Wonderbolts for anything." Scootaloo said.

"Oh but I'm not done. In fact, Scootaloo, your the other thing on the agenda. I believe that it was me who was the one that caused you to come into being, as such, that makes me your biological dad, and that's why if Rainbow Dash stays as a wonderbolt, she'll lose you as her child. Custody from there will be easy for me to obtain. She couldn't even beat me if she tried at that point." Clear Skies said.

"Brother...you didn't..." Lightining Dust said.

"See Rainbow Dash, this is what I like to call a 'No Win Situation'. For you see, there's more than just your future at stake here. If you manage to beat me in my challenge, you'll be allowed to keep your wonderbolt status free and clear, but you'll be unable to prevent custody of Scootaloo being transferred to me. Of course, should you lose to me in my challenge; and I know how much you hate losing; you'll be able to keep custody of Scootaloo sure, but you'll lose your spot in the wonderbolts for good. No coming back after a lose like this." Clear Skies said.

"That's just not fair." Pharynx said.

"Life isn't fair bug. Oh, and don't even think about denying my challenge Rainbow Dash, because you can't. Because thanks to my sister, I have the perfect ammo I need to get you kicked out of the Wonderbolts anyways." Clear Skies said. "And once word gets out about that ammo, you'll never be trusted ever again!" He added.

"Fine Clear Skies. I haven't backed down from a challenge, and I don't intend to start now." Rainbow Dash said.

"Yeah! My mom will find someway to fight you for custody of me." Scootaloo said. But something seemed different about her mother. Wait...mom...are...are you going to...you are, aren't you? Scootaloo thought to herself. She nodded in silence. I...I understand. Thank you mom; you still the most awesome mom in the world. This proves it. Scootaloo added to her thoughts. Rainbow Smiled at her daughter.

"Your so going to regret this later." Clear Skies said. "Soon Scootaloo will be mine, and there will be nothing you can do about it. So much for being the element of loyalty." He added.

"You won't be taking away Scootaloo if I have anything to do about it." Rainbow Dash said before the parasprites were released.

"The rules are simple: Whoever collects the most parasprites in thirty minutes wins." Clear Skies said. "Now go!" He added.

Up into the air both pegasi went, but everyone down below was seeing what Clear Skies wasn't.

"Is...is she..." One wonderbolt higher up said.

"That's the Rainbow Dash I've come to expect." Spitfire said with a smile.

"Seems she is..." The second wonderbolt higher up said.

"All for a child...she really is special." The third wonderbolt higher up said. Soon the thirty minutes were up, and the results were tallied. Clear Skies one by a very large margin. In fact, Clear Skies was angry.

"NOT A SINGLE ONE?!" Clear Skies exclaimed. "BUT YOUR RAINBOW DASH, YOU HATE LOSING!" He yelled.

"Yeah. I hate losing. But I'd rather stay loyal to who I am then stoop to your level. You were pushing me to win. I figured you out the moment you mentioned my wonderbolt membership was one the line." Rainbow Dash said. "But what you don't understand is that my loyalty to everypony; my friends and my family both; is where real winning is for me. If I had to choose between the Wonderbolts and my family, I'd choose my family every single time. That's the one thing I will never lose no matter what." "She explained as she stroked Scootaloo's mane.

"I...I DON'T BELIEVE THIS! THIS WAS NOT PART OF MY PLAN! YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO WIN! BECAUSE AFTERWARDS I COULD GO AROUND SPREADING MIS-INFORMATION ABOUT YOU AND THE FACT THAT YOU NEVER REALLY HAVE LOYALTY TO ANYPONY BUT YOURSELF!" Clear Skies said. But everyone was staring at him suddenly and he noticed it. "...What? Whose going to believe you over me?" Clear Skies asked. A feminine cough made him go wide eyed. "...Princess Celestia is right behind me, isn't she?" Clear Skies said.

"And I just heard every word." Princess Celestia said. Clear Skies gulped.

"Welp...there went everything down the toilet..." Clear Skies said.

"Your highnesses!" Crecent Moon said. "This stallion was trying to tear Rainbow Dash apart in all sorts of ways." He added.

"I'm willing to get a full statement from Lightning Dust Later." Princesss Luna said. "But me and my sister did not come here for that." She added. Starlight suddenly showed up.

"Sorry I'm a bit late everypony. I just needed to wait for the royal sisters to finish up with court today to be able to come by for this." Starlight said. "So...did we miss anything?" She added.

"Wait she called everyone here? I have to ask why." One of the Wonderbolt Higher Ups said.

"It's in regards to Scootaloo's biological father. For after much testing both by myself and the royal scientists at Canterlot, I can say without a doubt who Scootaloo's Biological Father is!" Starlight said.

Season 3: Episode 8 - Loyalty Behind the Rainbow Part 2

Previously, Lightning Dust's brother Clear Skies tried to force Scootaloo away from Rainbow Dash and failed. And now, the truth of Scootaloo's biological father is about to be revealed...

"Well then, who could it be? Was my brother responsible for this? I wouldn't put it past him, always using mares for his own amusement." Lightning Dust said.

"Well, first I can state the obvious here: That there were actually three different stallions that had sex with Rainbow Dash the night that she got drunk and became pregnant. Of those three stallions, only one actually landed the win and became Scootaloo's father." Starlight said.

"Three?" Spitfire asked. "Was it these three? I wouldn't put it past them." She said, looking over at Hoops, Hops, and Dumbell.

"Well, first, I'll start with the first stallion that had sex with her that night, and that was actually Clear Skies himself." Starlight said.

"I knew it! I may not have remembered it, but I bet you anything I am Scootaloo's father! So, now Rainbow Dash will HAVE to aknoweldge that!" Clear Skies said with a psychotic grin.

"Actually Clear Skies, even though you were Rainbow Dash's first partner that night, while you have the largest aviable cum production of any pegasus stallion of anywhere in Equestria, it turns out, Clear Skies that you are completly starile." Starlight said.

"Wait...come again?" Clear Skies said.

"Your stallion sperm is not capable of causing a mare to have offspring. In other words Mr. Clear Skies, you are NOT the father." Starlight said. Clear Skies suddenly fell into a complete and total mental breakdown.

"Yesh...serves my brother right. He's had that coming for a long time. Or at least something similar to it. Seriously, dude has been abusing and using mares since we were teens." Lightning Dust said. "So it's good to see him knocked down a peg." She added. "Wait...what about me? I know I'm not a stallion but what about my fertility?" The mare asked.

"Oh don't worry, I had a feeling you'd ask that. Your in the clear Lightning Dust, your fully capable of carrying offspring." Starlight said.

"BOOYA! SUCK ON THAT BROTHER!" Lightning Dust said. That only made Clear Skies's mental breakdown worsen.

"Well if it's not him it would have to be me..." Hops said.

"Hops?" Hoops asked.

"What makes you think it was you, dude?" Dumbell asked.

"I dunno...it's the fact that I also got drunk that same night and don't remember it and also the fact that Scootaloo reminds me alot of myself for some reason." Hops said.

"Well, I can defiantly say for a fact that Hops is the second stallion who had sex with Rainbow Dash that night however, there's just one hitch." Starlight said and then took out what looked to be a very used condom in a bag. "This was left behind at the hotel where Hops and Rainbow Dash had their round of sex. Meaning that while imparied judgement wise, Hops was responible enough to use a condom. It was like he was preventing himself from becoming a father." Starlight said. "Which is another way of saying that Hops, you are also not the father." She added.

"Wow...now that I didn't see coming." Hops said.

"Well at least he had the decency to use a condom. I wouldn't have minded Hops as much though." Rainbow Dash said.

"But then who? Who was so irresponsible, so abusive, that they had sex with Rainbow Dash without protection?!" Spitfire exclaimed.

"More importantly, why are all the wonderbolts here?" Crecent Moon asked.

"Because there is a traitor in your ranks." Luna said.

"It's true. Someone had been such a psychopath that they planned out everything. That's why Starlight double checked everything once it was revealed that Scootaloo has an immunity to alcohol poisoning since her birth which led to her crippled wings which she has overcome." Celestia said.

"How could she have gotten such a rare immunity anyways? There's only like, probably seven creatures on the entire planet who have that immunity. It could be any of them." The Second Wonderbolt Higher up said.

"Once the immunity was revealed, I had to have the DNA retested and compared by the royal scientists." Starlight said. "And as it turns out, there is only one pegasus stallion who has no alibi for that night. The only one stallion in all of equestria that even that has the immunity themselves. And the only one capable of being Scootaloo's biological father." She explained. "Isn't that right, Gutter?" The OP Unicorn asked. Everyone then turned to Rapidfire who was currently drinking some hard apple cider which was alcoholic.

"Dang this stuff is good!" Rapidfire said before he noticed everypony's eyes on him. "What?" He asked.

"Rapidfire, it was you?! Your Scootaloo's father?" Spitfire asked.

"Oh. So what if I am?" Rapidfire asked.

"Do you know how bad the wonderbolts image is going to be hurt by this backlash? Do you know what you've done?!" Spitfire exclaimed.

"Hey, I didn't think the girl would get pregnant. Besides, I wasn't a full wonderbolt at the time. Just a cadet. Remember?" Rapidfire asked.

"THAT'S NO EXCUSE!" Spitfire slapped him. "Is there anything you want to--" Spitfire started but as soon as Rapidfire looked back at her, everypony suddenly felt an eerie chill. "--R-rapid? Rapid this isn't funny..." Spitfire said.

"Oh of course it's not funny, Slutfire." Rapidfire said. Spitfire gulped. Never before had anyone spoken that name outloud since...well...ever. "Because this shouldn't have come to this. I had everything planned out to prevent her..." Rapidfire pointed to Rainbow Dash; his voice sounding much different then ever before. "...From ever being used. Don't you get it? With her sonic rainboom, the higherups were going to use her. So I had to use her and get her pregnant so she could never become a Wonderbolt for her own good." Rapidfire said.

"Okay Rapidfire...this joke isn't funny anymore..." Spitfire said, but secretly she and everypony else was feeling a darkness coming from Rapidfire.

"I...I may have been nightmare moon...but this chill...this darkness..." Luna said.

"I know sister...this is worse than that." Celestia said.

"Everything would've worked out fine, if Rainbow Dash's bucking parents hadn't had wanted to get Rainbow Dash an abortion. A mark like that would ruin her forever. But she was just too loyal for her own good, and as such, her baby was put up for adoption. So, I had to come up with a plan B and was hoping she would not win the Young Flier's competition. But because of that Sonic Rainboom of hers happening once again, she won the stupid thing. The higherups would've been all over that. So, I had a plan C in mind. Enter Lightning Dust, a known reckless flier." Rapid Fire said.

"Me?! YOU USED ME TOO?!" Lightning Dust exclaimed. "A-and I thought my brother was bad..." She added.

"W-who is this guy..." Clear Skies said; even he was growing scared.

"And you did exactly what I wanted you to, Slutfire: You made Rainbow Dash become Lightning Dust's wingpony which is exactly what I wanted. Everything just needed to work out where LD would do something that would endanger somepony's life and thus Rainbow Dash would want to leave the academy. And at first, it seemed like it worked until YOU decided to admit your mistake and made her a lead pony so long as she stayed on board. You had one BUKCING JOB SPITFIRE! All you had to do was accept her resignation, and things wouldn't have progressed this bucking far!" Rapidfire said.

"Wh-what are you talking about?" Spitfire said, now fearing for what was coming next out of her teammate's mouth.

"The fact that now, it's been brought to life EXACTLY what I did. I hope your happy Spitfire. Things didn't have to get this far, but in protecting Rainbow Dash so much that you wanted her so badly on the team, that you did everything you could to make sure she could get on the team, YOU'VE RUINED THE WONDERBOLTS!" Rapidfire said. "Well, that was the whole point anyways, was to ruin the wonderbolts. I guess I set out what I wanted to do because by revealing this truth, that this was my plan the entire time, you've doomed us all." Rapidfire said.

"No. You've only doomed your self." The third higherup said. "It'll be easy to cover this up." He added.

"OH GO TO TARTURUS! YOU REALLY THINK IT MATTERS?! Covering this up will only make you look worse in the long run, this is a lose-lose situation!" Rapidfire said. "So yeah, I'm Scootaloo's father. And she'll have to live with that fact for the rest of her life!" He added.

"...No..." Scootaloo said.

"...What?" Rapidfire was confused.

"The only relation I have to you, is a blood relationship. Pharynx is my father now. And he's an awesome dad. A lot more awesome then you could ever hope to be!" Scootaloo said. Pharynx smiled.

"Yeah, and Rainbow Dash has all of us behind her for whatever comes next." Lightning Dust said.

"You think you've ruined everything for Rainbow Dash, but if we know Rainbow Dash, she'll bounce back from this." Hoops said.

"She's done a lot more then just clear out parasprites, she's gone up against the likes of Nightmare Moon and even Discord. And both times she came out even better then before!" Dumbell said.

"She's more then Rainbow Dash, she's Awesome Dash! So if she wants to create her own flight team, we'll be behind her all the way!" Hops said.

"And nothing you do can change that." Pharynx said. Rainbow Dash shed a tear.

"...Do you get it yet, Rapidfire? This is what Loyalty can really do for someone when they show it right. And my mom has more loyalty in you then you could ever hope to top." Scootaloo said.

"I...I couldn't have said that better myself Scootaloo." Rainbow Dash said.

"This is the Loyalty behind the Rainbow Rapidfire; no matter what you tried, that would always triamph over all." Lightning Dust said.

"...It seems...I shouldn't have ever tried to shake that foundation myself...I see that now..." Clear Skies said. "...It seems, I must go on a journey...and rediscover myself...I can see that clearly now..." He added. "So...take care of yourself sis. I hereby banish myself from Equestria until I can return repentant." The stallion added before he flew right off.

"Can he do that?" Rainbow Dash asked. Celestia shrugged.

"I was going to have him take remedial lessons but this works too." Celestia said.

"YOU WON'T GET AWAY WITH THIS!" Rapidfire said as he was put into a straight jacket. "YOU HEAR ME? YOU WILL NOT GET AWAY WITH THIS!" He added.

"Take that psychotic freak away from here!" Crescent Moon exclaimed just before Rapidfire was taken away.

"...Well that happened..." Rainbow Dash said.

"So...Rainbow Dash...do you want to have that wedding next month?" Pharynx asked his future wife.

"Do you have to ask?" Rainbow Dash asked, smiling.

"I'll take that as a yes." Pharynx said.

"How'd I have the strangest feeling that was gonna happen?" Scootaloo asked.

Season 3: Episode 9 - A Rainbow's Wedding

A month has passed since Rapidfire was imprisoned in a facility for the insane. During this time, Rainbow Dash had left the wonderbolts. As soon as this had happened, Luna once again proposed Rainbow Dash to become her captain, promising this time, Rainbow Dash was not choosing it over her friends. Rainbow Dash agreed, on the account that Rainbow Dash would be allowed to pick whomever she chose. As such, so long as they could fly, any creature was on the table.

While Pharynx would still refuse to join his soon-to-be wife on the team, one changeling from Amiticia's hive did show great interest in joining up. Ironically, it was Thorax; Pharynx's own brother. In addition to Thorax, Garble too joined up, though the reasons for that seemed to be unclear as Rainbow didn't buy the whole "wanting to study pony colture closer" excuse.

Unsurprisingly, Lightning Dust too wanted to join up, promising to improve herself and prevent her recklessness from causing problems again. She was to keep to her promise or be dismissed as both Rainbow Dash and Luna agreed to. Gilda also joined up, on the account of wanting to do something to try and continue to salvage her friendship with Rainbow Dash, and the cyan pegasus had no objections to this.

What was strange was that Hops, Hoops, and Dumbell also decided to join up. Which did round out the squad quite nicely for the time being. Still, those three would have to be trained by Rainbow Dash and Gilda to keep up with the rest. What was surprsing to all though, was that Pharynx also was willing to train the trio if Rainbow Dash wanted it. Which was permitted because Luna felt that he could be a useful outside couch for the new Shadowbolts.

But probably the most shocking development came from the Wonderbolts. Taking full responsibility for not seeing Rapidfire's psychopathic nature, Spitfire handed her job to Soarin and then proceeded to ask Rainbow Dash to become the manager for the Shadowbolts. Which Luna did agree to, but before Rainbow Dash agreed to the idea, the rainbow mare asked why.

"I have to do something to make up for the fact one of the wonderbolts used you. And besides, I want to do this because I feel like it's about time for me to move on anyways." Spitfire had said. That was enough for Rainbow Dash.

Now it was time for the wedding between Rainbow Dash and Phayrnx which was taking place outside in a clear blue skies, the wonderbolts were to give a brief airshow to kickstart the reception. Everyone from Ponyville including the changelings as well as many pegasi from cloudsdale; a few visiters from Apleloosa and Manehatten; and rounding it all out were many dragons and griffon too.

But of all those invited, there were two Pegasi that were basically banned from attending. It was told to them specifically that if they tried, they'd be imprisoned for three weeks on authority from Princess Twilight Sparkle. Those two being Rainbow Dash's Parents, Bow Hothoof and Windy Whistles. Rainbow Dash's Biological Father and mother respectfully.

...Or so Rainbow Believed so with Windy Whistles, who practically raised her from birth and the main reason why Scootaloo got put up for adoption.

Regardless, Scootaloo was the flower filly, and Rumble was the ring bearer.

"Rainbow Dash, of all the mares in this world, none are as talented or as loyal as you are. That's why I believe this is a union that is once in a lifetime." Amiticia began. He and Twilgiht were taking this one as a duo royal witness.

"And Pharynx, you are the most brave and dependable soldier that the Changeling Guard has ever seen, or will ever see for a long time to come. Another reason why this union is once in a lifetime." Twilight added.

"So do you, Captain Pharynx of the Changeling Guard, take Rainbow Dash to be your lawfully wedded wife until death do you part?" Amiticia said.

"I do indeed." Pharynx said.

"And do you, Captain Rainbow Dash of the New Shadowbolts, take Pharynx to be your lawfully wedded husband until death do you part?" Twilight asked.

"Beyond a shadow of a doubt I do." Rainbow Dash said.

"Then by the authority invested in both me and my wife..." Amiticia started.

"We now pronounce you husband and wife!" Twilight finished! The new couple kissed and then the Wonderbolts did their breif show.

Sometime after the reception, Rainbow Dash and Pharynx started heading home, but not before as was tradition for each wedding, Rainbow Dash threw the bouquet of flowers into the air. After a fierce competition, the flowers somehow wound up in Scootaloo's hands. She and Rumble both looked to each other with a huge blush supporting both their faces as they headed up with Rainbow Dash and Pharynx to RD's Cloudhome.

"Home sweet home..." Rainbow Dash said, taking off her wedding dress. "And I am so glad to be out of that thing. Probably will still wear it for special occasions but other then that..." She added.

"I prefer you being you as it is." Pharynx said.

"Thanks dear." Rainbow Dash said. Suddenly, the door bell rang. "I'll get it!" She added.

"Wonder who that could be at this hour?" Pharynx said.

"Oh my gosh!" Rainbow Dash said. "A.K. Yearling, do come in!" She added. In came a mare with a hat, glasses, and a dress on.

"Been a while, hasn't it Rainbow Dash? Sorry I haven't been contacting you, I just...took a while..." A.K. Yearling said.

"Wait a minute..." Pharynx said and approached the yellow mare. "...How are you walking on clouds? I don't sense a cloudwalking spell on you." He added.

"Well...um..." A.K. Yearling said.

"You might as well just tell him. Changelings can detect magic after all." Rainbow Dash said.

"...Fair enough..." A.K. Yearling said before throwing off everything and then put on a different hat. This caused both Scootaloo and Rumble to gasp.

"YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME." Rumble said.

"A.K. YEARLING IS DARING DO!" Scootaloo exclaimed.

"...Suddenly, now everything makes sense..." Pharynx said.

"Yeah I was surprised the first time too." Rainbow Dash said. "So, what are you here for anyways, Daring?" She asked.

"Your joking right? I was really hoping Bow would've mentioned SOMETHING about me, but I guess just like how Rapidfire used you and left you with a child you spent forever to get back, Bow use me and then replaced me." Daring Do said.

"Your not making any sense. What do you mean, replaced you?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"...Rainbow Dash, I am your real Biological mother." Daring Do said.

"But...but how...why?" Rainbow Dash said.

"After I gave birth to you, I had to go and take care of something for Book Five." Daring Do said.

"Book five is the Jewel of Amazon if I remember correctly." Rainbow Dash said.

"Yep. That's the one." Daring Do said. "But by the time I recover it, and got it to a museum, Bow Hothoof had already replaced me." She added.

"Windy Whistles..." Rainbow Dash said. "...No wonder we're nothing alike..." She added.

"I couldn't try anything. Considering Bow Hothoof was mayor at the time, it would've been my word against his. It's...surprising though that the one time a book of mine got delayed we ended up bumping into each other for the first time since you were born." Daring Do said. "And I'm glad you did. It just took me a while to get things situated and under control enough for a while." She added.

"So wait..." Scootaloo said. "If I'm the daughter of Rainbow Dash who is the daughter of Daring Do, does that mean...I'M THE GRANDAUGHTER OF DARING DO?!" She added.

"You betcha kiddo." Daring Do said.

"...Scootaloo.mlp will stop working now..." Scootaloo said before fainting. Daring Do looked to her daughter and son-in-law

"Don't ask." Both Rainbow Dash and Pharynx said at the same time.

Now I know that this season has been a short one, but honestly, considering Rainbow Dash's personality and how much I've built up her relationship with Pharynx so far, did you REALLY think Rainbow Dash was going to wait long to marry Pharynx at all after that race between the changeling and Soarin? I don't think so, and I'm pretty sure others would agree with me. There's only one season left after this folks, as much as that pains me to say. It's been a wild ride, but there isn't much more I could tackle that would change drastically which is why Season 4 is going to feel like a speed round as I do my best to cover the things that WILL change from season 6 onwards.

...Also, who here saw this ending coming?

Side note: The name of Book five was made up, I think. Correct me on this if I'm wrong and I'll change the book number. Unless the name is also taken, in which case...I'll keep it in.

Season 4: Episode 1 - The Chessmaster

It had been a grueling past three months in Equestria. In the first month, Twilight and her friends uncovered the Pillars of Equestria, and dealt with the Pony of Shadows. After the pony of shadow's defeat, the group found a white knight chess piece in Twilight's chair at the Castle of Friendship.

In the month following that, a tyrant known as the Storm King appeared and threatened Equestria. With some thinking between Twilight and her husband Amiticia, Amiticia was able to secretly meet with the Storm King's commander and turn her to the side of Equestria. Tempest Shadow; otherwise referred to as Fizzlepop Berrytwist; is now currently undergoing both magical training and recruitment to become the captain of Twilight Sparkle's Royal Guard outside of the changelings.

"Seeing as how Pharynx is now married to Rainbow Dash, we think it's time your royal guard at the castle included ponies as well." Celestia said.

"Already, quite a few of the royal guards of both myself, my sister, and cadence have valentered to become part of the Friendship Guard." Luna noted.

"Besides, it was the only way to prevent Shining Armor from taking over Pharynx's position." Cadence said.

"Tell me something I didn't already forsee." Twilight said. The group had then arrived at the map room to find a black bishop piece in Amiticia's Chair.

"Another one of these?" Amiticia asked.

"Hmm...this may be the work of a pony the media has dubbed 'The Chessmaster'. Whoever this stallion or mare is has been leaving various chess pieces in royal seatings. But outside of that, it seems to be more or less the actions of a small child." Celestia said.

"I hope we find them soon then. After all, I'd rather have my own child not think that this is an okay thing to do." Twilight said. Suddenly the eyes of the other alicorns went wide.

"You don't mean..." Luna said.

"I think she does." Cadence said.

"Of course Cadence gets it." Amiticia noted.

"So then you really are..." Celestia began.

"Yep. I'm pregnant." Twilight said.

Now however, she and amiticia were in a meeting with Chancellor Nighsay which has not been going well in the slightest.

"Seriously, it's one thing to allow griffons and changelings onto something like this new interations of the Shadowbolts. I only allowed it because it's better to have them fighting with us then against us. But I refuse to let any creatures who are not ponies into a school what-so-ever!" Chancellor Nighsay said.

"Your not being very nice are you?" Amiticia said. Suddenly, a red chess piece; specifically a rook; spun it's way onto the floor in front of Chancellor Nieghsay.

"Another one? But aren't chess pieces normally white and black colored?" Amiticia asked.

"That's true. But that chess piece specifically is a rook. Statistically, the rook is known for being the MVP piece in chess, as nine out of ten chess matches are won by the rook or won using a strategy involving the rook. It's why the Rook in chess is considered to represent a very stratigic mind. The red coloring however, is different for a reason. I just can't think of what that is off the top of my head." Twilight said.

"The color red is about aggression; usually in relation to the emotion of anger." A very young female child voice called out. "How fitting is it, that I just so happened to spin a red rook piece in front of a pony blinded by obvious rage." The voice added. Chancellor neighsay suddenly gulped.

"You..." The stallion said as a pegasus filly suddenly appeared from behind a pillar in the room.

"So we meet again, Chancellor Neighsay." The filly said.

"Cozy Glow...I was wondering how long it'd take you to show up." Chancellor Neighsay said.

"I'm confused. Who is she?" Amiticia asked.

"Introductions are in order then, King Amiticia." Cozy Glow said. "To the common folk, they know me only as Cozy Glow, the youngest filly to ever master chess at a professional level, able to beat even the likes of Celestia nine times out of ten on a good day. But to Chancellor Nieighsay and his pony only education focus, I'm better known for being the loudest voice in the 'Education for Everything' education philosophy. Something I do quite well, as whenever he or someone from the EPA tries to shut down education for everyone who isn't a pony, I leave a little token of my voice in a royal seating." The filly said.

"So then, your the one who the media dubbed 'The Chessmaster'?" Twilight asked.

"Hey, I don't descriminate. I did leave a piece in Amiticia's chair after all." Cozy Glow said.

"But why are you now using a red chess piece? Is it because a red rook resembles your cutie mark?" Amiticia said, noticing Cozy Glow's cutie mark being of the very chess piece she just spun out in front of Chancellor Nieghsay.

"Something like that. I'm really getting fed up with this pony only education philosophy going on in the world. So, I'm doing something about it." Cozy Glow said. "So maybe I decide to gift a chess piece here and there to the seat of a royal. Last I checked, doing something like that isn't illegal in the slightest bit." She added.

"...Yeah I got nothing to argue with that." Twilight conceded, seeing Cozy Glow was right. "Seems chess is not your only field of expertise." The alicorn added.

"My mom is very well known amongst politicians. She wanted me to fix the pony only education policy someday and everything." Cozy Glow said.

"Whom you never once revealed the identity for no reason other than 'spoilers' which makes no sense to me." Chancellor Neighsay said. "Because how can the identity of your mother be a spoiler." He added.

"That is also a spoiler I'm afraid, but don't worry, you'll find out sooner or later." Cozy Glow said. "But for now, you say that friendship is only for ponies, well I propose a challenge." She added.

"...Go on..." Chancellor Neighsay said.

"Princess Twilight and King Amiticia will open a school of friendship here in Ponyville. If that school becomes very popular with non-ponies; and everything from ponies to griffons, to even dragons will be welcome to attend; then you are to shred your pony only education policy once and for all." Cozy Glow said.

"You do realize that should that school fail to do so after an appointed period of time, it will be seized and taken over by the EPA." Chancellor Neighsay said. "Like say three months." He offered.

"You do realize that that's hardly enough time. It takes at least a year to get any sort of feedback." Cozy Glow said.

"...Horseapples, I was hoping you wouldn't have known that." Chancellor Nieghsay said.

"And that; as they say; is checkmate Chancellor. Princess Twilight gets one full year to make the best friendship school possible for ponies, griffons, hippogrifs, dragons, changelings, and every other creature in the world." Cozy Glow said.

"...Whoever your mother turns out to be; and you can bet I'll find out one of these days; I will give a personal earful to." Chancellor Neighsay said before leaving.

"...Wow..." Amiticia said. "And I thought Twilight was the smart pony." He added.

"You have zero idea." Cozy Glow whispered.

"You say something, Cozy Glow?" Twilight asked.

"Nothing that's really important." Cozy Glow said. "But I'm going to stick around. Help you out. It's why mom wanted me to learn politics, so I could help you." She added.

"Your mother specifically wanted you to help me?" Twilight asked.

"You bet she did, Princess Twilight, soon to be Headmare Twilight." Cozy Glow said.

"Headmare Twilight...that has a nice ring to it." Amiticia said. "Not formal, but definatly not casual. It suits my wife to a T." He added.

"oh you have no idea..." Cozy Glow whispered.

"Did you say something, Cozy Glow?" Amiticia asked.

"Nothing that can't wait to be revealed at some point later down the line. It's not important to making a super awesome friendship school." Cozy Glow said.

Author's Note

So, the direction that Cozy Glow is being taken for this AU might be a little wierd at first, but trust me, I have a reason for making Cozy Glow be the way she is in this AU. While obviously not putting her in the role of villain like in the original universe, there is something Cozy Glow is hiding from everypony and every creature around her such as the mysterious identity of her mother.

Season 4: Episode 2 - To Build a School

Princess Twilight Sparkle was currently looking over the rules and regulations the EPA provided her when suddenly, the entire stack was knocked over by a thrown Red Rook Piece. "Cozy Glow, that's the fifth time you've done that." The purple alicorn said, annoyed.

"Because my mom knew you'd do this." Cozy Glow said. "And she told me to tell you to screw these rules. The EPA WANTS you to follow these rules. It's the best way they can ensure that you don't make the best friendship school possible." She added.

"Wait...they know about how by the book I like to be?" Twilight asked, surprised.

"Duh! They keep up to date on all the princesses of Equestria. You included, Future Headmare Twilight." Cozy Glow said. "Which is why I'm here, to make sure they don't win; you do." She added.

Twilight smile. "One of these days, I HAVE to meet your mother. She sounds like she really knows her stuff." She said.

"Oh boy, if only you knew..." Cozy Glow said.

"What was that?" Twilight asked.

"Nothing. Listen, you and your friends have their own way of teaching friendship, so build off of that. Ignore these by the book rules. After all, you want to show up the EPA. And the best way you can do that, is show them that their methods are outdated as Equestria moves in to make friends with our neighbors." Cozy Glow said and then tapped the rule books. "These rules are for an equestria that only pays attention to ponies, but now that Changelings are part of our culture with Dragons, Griffons, Hippogriffs, and Yaks becoming friends with ponies as well, Equestria is moving past being just for ponies now." She explained.

"You're really smart Cozy Glow. Who helped you be so smart?" Amiticia asked.

"My mother. In addition to making sure I was every bit as smart as her growing up, she made sure I had plenty of friends my own age." Cozy Glow said.

"Your mother sounds like a nice mare." Twilight said.

"She is. In my eyes, there's no body nicer. Tartarus, I really couldn't ask for a better mother." Cozy Glow said. The rest of the mane 6 soon showed up.

"Girls? What are you doing here?" Twilight asked.

"Cozy Glow called us. Not exactly sure how she managed to figure out where'd we were and when we'd be there." Applejack said.

"Is it okay if I'm a bit spooked by that?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Uh...no. In this case I think we are all spooked by that fact." Fluttershy said.

"...That just makes it worse." Rainbow Dash said.

"Look, you and Princess Twilight are friends, and no way is she making a school of friendship without her best friends as the teachers. And trust me, Future Headmare Twilight: Your friends will make better teachers for friendship then whoever you could higher." Cozy Glow said.

"...She's got a point you know. How does she have such a good point? How is she so good at this?" Pinkie Pie asked though she was talking fairly fast.

"You'd be surprised, Pinkie Pie." Cozy Glow said.

"How in tarnation did she follow that?" Applejack asked.

"I could tell you Applejack, but then that'd be spoilers, and your friend Pinkie Pie HATES spoilers." Cozy Glow said.

"I am getting more spooked by the minute." Rainbow Dash said.

"Sorry for spooking you so much. But don't worry, I'm only here to help you all with the school situation, and then once everything is squared away, I'll be going back home." Cozy Glow said.

"You're so different." Fluttershy said. "I can't describe how, but you just seem so different." She said.

"I could tell you how, but like I said, massive spoilers." Cozy Glow said, taking out a red rook piece. "Like I said though, I'm only here to help." She added.

"Well so long as your around to help, we should really get to know each other quite well darling." Rarity said.

"Sorry to burst your bubble, but I already know everything about each and every one of the Mane Six and those related to them. Speaking of, where is Starlight? She was supposed to come too." Cozy Glow said.

"Present!" Starlight said. "I was just chatting with some building instructors. But how am I going to help the school?" She asked.

"That's easy: You're going to be the guidance consoler for the students." Cozy Glow said. "Now then, shall we get started? Each one of the mane six is going to be teaching your own classes based on the element of harmony you represent." She added.

"How in Equestra does one teach loyalty?" Rainbow Dash asked.

Cozy Glow put a basketball in the cyan pegasus's hooves. "Easy: Sports. It's the closest thing to teaching loyalty. As many sports and sport-like activity help build teamwork and comradery." The Pink Pegasus said. "Mom helped me figure out the best way for each of you to teach your own elements. Including Future Headmare Twilight for when she teaches classes." She added.

"You've got it all figure out don't you? And who exactly is your mother anyways?" Applejack asked.

"That is yet another spoiler. I'd tell you; honest to celestia I would; but I simply cannot." Cozy Glow said. "So, I can't tell you." She added.

"Well no matter, I am glad your here, Cozy Glow." Twilight said.

You have no idea Twilight... Cozy Glow thought to herself; the Pink Pegasus took out a purple star keychain for a brief moment when no one was looking at her. ...You really have no idea... Cozy Glow added to her thoughts as she put the keychain away.

Author's Note

Some clues are being dropped about this universe's version of Cozy Glow. So, does anyone have any guesses as to who her mother is? Or is the answer just too obscure right now? Please do not leave an actual guess in the comments if you would.

Season 4: Episode 3 - Tutors

"Things are coming along nicely." Twilight said as she and her friends were getting the classrooms set up. Though there seemed to be a bit of a room nearby that has a sign that said "After-School Tutoring". "Wonder what Cozy Glow is up to know." Twilight said and went inside, finding Cozy Glow setting up a place that seemed balanced in materials.

"Oh hey Headmare Twilight. Hope you don't mind me setting up this little area. See, there are going to be some students who will struggle here and there, which is why I'm adding this little area to the school." Cozy Glow said.

"Well that's good and all Cozy Glow, but considering your going home when your done here, whose going to be the full-time tutors?" Twilight asked.

"Sorry we're late." Apple Bloom said from nearby.

"Apple Bloom? Sweetie Belle? Scootaloo?" Applejack asked.

"Hey, I'm here too. So is Silver Spoon." Diamond Tiara said.

"What are you five doing here?" Rarity asked.

"Cozy Glow said she should've explained it." Sweetie Belle said.

"I told you five girls to come at seven thirty. I even let Cherilee know it was official business for the Princess of Friendship." Cozy Glow said. "You girls are a whole thirty minutes early." She added.

"Sorry Cozy Glow, guess we got anxious." Scootaloo said.

"I repeat Rarity's question: What are they doing here, Cozy Glow?" Twilight asked.

"Well, seeing as they have learnt a lot about friendship, to the point where they can easily be teaching it, because their too young to be teachers, I figured I'd have them become your school's tutors. I even got Cherilee to agree to it as extra credit for the five of them." Cozy Glow said.

"Cozy Glow, why would you go around Twilight's back like this?" Amiticia asked.

"Because Vice-stallion Amiticia, it's saving everyone time this way." Cozy Glow said.

"Vice-stallion?" Amiticia asked.

"Who else would be Headmare Twilight's second in command? Or would you rather I use the other word? You know, the very dirty word. Though I'm sure once I do, Twilight is probably going to rinse my mouth out with soap." Cozy Glow said. "Either her or Rarity." She added.

"Isn't the word for male changelings--" Silver Spoon started before Diamond Tiara stopped her.

"Don't. Say it." Diamond Tiara said. "Especially because we're no older then Cozy Glow." She added.

"What's wrong with saying 'Monkey' anyways?" Apple Bloom said. And then suddenly a soap bar was taken to Apple Bloom's mouth using Twilight's magic.

"That word may seem all that innocent, but to Changelings, it translates to..." Twilight then proceeded to say something that was promptly censored. "...Which is a very dirty word." Twilight said.

"...I will never look at those creatures the same way again..." Diamond Tiara said.

"I think no one ever will after that..." Fluttershy said.

"Still, what do you mean this saves time?" Twilight asked.

"If they aren't part of this school somehow, they'll try and join up their way, which will end in failure so they'll try helping a student with their homework anyways. Which will then end up you making them tutors so the end result would be the same regardless. My mother told me this was the best way to handle things so we don't waste time." Cozy Glow said.

Twilight opened her mouth to object but then stopped. "...Knowing three of them...that's exactly what'll happen anways. But what about the other two?" The purple alicorn asked.

"Oh in addition to being tutors, they're also going to keep an eye out for bullies. Hence me clearing things with Cherilee. These five will still take Cherilee's classes, they'll just be doing that stuff from home from now on. Or here, one of the two." Cozy Glow said.

"And you signed this off as work for me why?" Twilight asked.

"Hey, you don't want bullying to happen at the school of friendship do you? Would pretty much prove Nieghsay right that only ponies can exhibit friendship. Well here you have two former bullies who can help you spot bullies before things progress to the point where Nieghsay gets proven right." Cozy Glow said.

"...Why does that make so much sense? And how did you get Diamond Tiara's mother to--" Twilight said.

"Actually, you were off on your honeymoon when a certain...incident happened." Diamond Tiara said.

While Twilight and Amiticia were on their honey moon...

Spoiled Rich was walking around Ponyville when she slipped and fell; almost falling into ponyville river, when suddenly Apple Boom managed to save her with her friends. "Geez, you should really watch where your stepping, Mrs. Rich." Apple Bloom said after. "If me and my friends weren't here, you'd be all washed up. Litterally." She added.

"And just why were you three around here?" Spoiled Rich asked.

"First off it's a weakend. Second off, it's because the river current is strong today. So everypony from school is helping make sure no one falls in." Sweetie Belle said.

"Err...I see..." Spoiled Rich said. She knew what that meant: Landing in the river would sweep one way out to sea with no hope of rescue in time before something vicious got to the pony. "Th-thank you then..." Spoiled Rich said and then left to go back home.

"After that, mom has been perfectly fine with me hanging out with the cutie mark crusaders." Diamond Taira said.

"...Never mind then. Wow..." Twilight said. "Me and Amiticia missed something while we were gone then." She added.

"Sorry Twilight, guess it slipped our minds darling." Rarity said.

"Yeah. Sorry Twi." Rainbow Dash said.

"It's fine. Everypony forgets something every now and again." Twilight said.

"Wise words to live by. Mom says the same thing sometimes." Cozy Glow said.

"Ah'm real curious to just who your mother is anyways. Is it somepony Twilight and her friends have met before?" Apple Bloom asked.

"Mmm...you could say that Apple Bloom." Cozy Glow said before everypony and Amiticia got to helping set up the school. When she was alone, Cozy Glow took a glance at Twilight Sparkle who was helping out her various friends. "...You could most certainly say that indeed..." Cozy Glow said to herself with no one around to hear her or see her.

Author's Note

So, I basically said an obviously made-up word for changeling males here as someone was curious. FYI, the word I used was fake; the real word is indeed a word that would cause a child's parents to wash their mouth out with soap. Hence the censorship. Also yes, I didn't touch on the CMC's cutie mark event because there was absolutely nothing different.

Season 4: Episode 4 - Sweetie Belle's Rival

It was a normal day in Ponyville, but with Sweetie Belle, her entire room was messy with all sorts of crumpled paper with all sorts of details.

"Sweetie Belle, your room is a mess darling." Rarity said.

"Apologies sis. It's just that I feel like my relationship with Spike has hit a bit of a slump. I'm trying to come up with something new for the two of us to do together as I don't want to lose Spike as my special somepony." Sweetie Belle said.

"Well it's apparent from the mess that things have been getting serious between both of you." Rarity said.

"I'll pick up before bed sis. Just...I really need to figure things out." Sweetie Belle said.

"Well make sure your well rested. At Cozy Glow's suggestion, tomorrow Twilight will be showing around five students alongside a pony from ponyville around the Friendship School before it opens its doors officially in three days from now." Rarity said. "And she wants everyone working on arranging their classrooms in advance." She added.

"Don't worry sis, I promise not to be late." Sweetie Belle said.

However, the next day, Sweetie Belle was in a panic as she rushed over the school of Friendship. Soon she arrived in the school.

"Sweetie Belle, your late." Rarity told her sister. "I thought you said you promised not to be late. Twilight's already began the tour of the school." She added.

"Sorry sis...I just could not come up with anything new to do with Spike last night." Sweetie Belle said.

"Sweetie Belle, your relationship is important to you, I know that, but you should've paid attention to the time. Now you'll have to pick up the slack and get to your friends." Rarity said. Sweetie Belle went to do just that.

A few minutes later, Twilight was brining around to the Tutoring room an earth pony, a yak, a changeling, a dragon, a griffon, and a hippogrif. "And this here is the room you'll go to for some afterschool tutoring. I know that the Cutie Mark Crusaders aren't much older than you, but I think you might connect with them if you ever find yourselves struggling." Twilight said.

"Meh..." The dragon; an orange female one; was indifferent to everything so far.

"Well that's it for the tour. Feel free to explore for a bit more." Twilight said. After she left, the dragoness snorted.

"This place isn't really my speed." The dragoness said.

"Dragon should get into the spirit." The yak said.

"Whatever. I don't know why Ember wouldn't let me stay at the--" The dragoness said before she noticed something. It was Spike. "Oh...my...gosh..." The Dragoness said.

"Wh-what is it?" The changeling asked before Smolder suddenly rushed over to Spike.

"Oof!" Spike said. "Oh. Hi there. Your the dragon that Ember sent over, right?" Spike asked.

"It's you! It's really you! Spike the brave and glorious, hero of the crystal empire!" The dragoness said. "Oh my gosh, I can't believe I'm meeting you in person!" She said. "Want to personally show a fellow dragon around? My name's Smolder." She added.

"Sure. I don't see why not." Spike said and then went to do just that with Smolder.

Sweetie saw the whole thing, and her eye twitched. "Oh no. She is SO not getting MY dragon!" Sweetie Belle said, furious.

Many times, Sweetie Belle tried to set up things for Smolder to fall into and ruin her, but ended up causing Spike a bunch of annoynces instead. Feeling guilty, Sweetie Belle started to heartbrokenly, start mopping things up. But was then approuched by Spike.

"Sweetie Belle, what's up?" Spike asked. He was alone.

"What's up? What's up is that your getting together with that orange dragoness Smolder! I know our relationship is in a slump but come on...you just met her!" Sweetie Belle said.

"Sweetie Belle, it isn't like that. As you know, when the dragon migration happened, a dragon named Garble really hit me hard and was making me doubt myself as a dragon especially because he wanted to kill all ponies. But Smolder is the first dragon I've met outside of Ember that's not like that. I'm hoping to become friends with her at least. There's nothing more to it than that." Spike said. Sweetie Belle smiled.

"Spike, you always say the right things you know that?" Sweetie Belle asked and hugged him then got back to mopping more enthuastically.

"Glad I could help." Spike said.

As the sun set, Smolder found Sweetie Belle who was setting the last bits of things up.

"Your Sweetie Belle, right?" Smolder asked.

"I am." Sweetie Belle said.

"You do realize because he's a dragon, Spike is going to live for a lot longer then you, right?" Smolder asked. "And yet, you've become his special somepony." She noted.

"You got a problem with that?" Sweetie Belle asked. "If your planning on winning him over from me, you've got another thing coming." She said. Suddenly a red rook piece was spun inbetween the two of them.

"Sweetie Belle, you really shouldn't be so surprised that something like this could happen." The two love rivals were then visited by Cozy Glow. "After all, until he gets married, Spike is open for anyone to take. And you can't claim ownership over him." She said.

"But..." Sweetie Belle started but was stopped.

"Instead of you two trying to one-up and sabotoge one another, how about you both agree to just try to win Spike's heart in your own ways on your own terms." Cozy Glow said. "It'd go a long ways with Spike. Trust me." She added.

"...How do you know so much anyways, Cozy Glow? Twilight said this whole thing was your idea." Smolder said.

"I could tell you, but then that'd be a spoiler. And I don't have any method of wiping your memories of what happened." Cozy Glow said. The two love rivals blinked.

"Say what?" Both of the rivals said at the same time.

"Pay that no mind." Cozy Glow said and left.

"...So, we agree to what Cozy Glow said then?" Sweetie Belle asked.

"Sure. Why not? Could make things interesting. May the best female win." Smolder agreed.

Cozy Glow was in her room that she was staying in at the Castle of Friendship at Twilight's request. In the room, Cozy Glow took out a photograph, she simply stared at it.

"I know it's been a while, mom. Shorter of a time for you than me. But don't worry your silly little head one bit. I'm doing fine here. Today, the beginnings of Sweetie Belle and Smolder's love rivalry over Spike has begun, just like you knew it would. After all, you gave me all the knowledge I needed to know to make sure everything goes exactly as you remember it." Cozy Glow said. "I'll make you proud of me mom; you and daddy both." She said. As the camera began to tilt, just enough to show what looked to be a taller version of Amiticia, the scene ended.

Season 4: Episode 5 - S.M.I.L.E.s for Miles

It was a natural day in Ponyville; the day before the school of friendship officially opens its doors; but for two lesbian mares, the day will only be interesting...

Lyra Heartstrings was with her marefriend and future wife Bon Bon; better known as S.M.I.L.E.'s secret agent Sweetie Drops and their only real still active member. That is...until today when Derpy Hooves handed over a letter for Lyra who opened it with Bon Bon. "Eeee! It's my official S.M.I.L.E. License!" Lyra said with glee.

"Heh...seems like you aced the test. Sorry I couldn't be there. Regulations." Bon Bon said.

"Oh I know all about those. Thankfully, they don't know about us being a real couple at all." Lyra said.

"Acutally Lyra, it wouldn't be surprising to know they did know and they looked the other way because now we're the only two active agents." Bon Bon said. "But just so you know Lyra, don't expect me to give you special treatment. As your senior agent, I'll be required to show you the ropes both inside and out. And that means I have to be tough on you." She added.

"I wouldn't have it any other way. At least we can still be a couple, right?" Lyra asked.

Bon Bon giggled. "Yeah. That's not against regulation. But please, try not flirt while on the job. It might get...distracting..." The cream mare said.

"You got it Bon Bon. And I know regulations: No calling you by your agent name unless it's on the job." Lyra Heartstrings said. Suddenly a red rook chess piece was spun in front of the two mares.

"...What the? Whose been spying on us?" Bon Bon asked. The two waited for a while. "...Whoever it was is gone now. But now I'm worried." Bon Bon said.

"Yeah me too. Should I grab the mirrors?" Lyra asked.

"Permission granted." Bon Bon said and Lyra went to grab the mirrors, only to scream out. "What's wrong?" Bon Bon asked.

"The Mirrors...THEIR GONE!" Lyra said.

"What?!" Bon Bon exclaimed and checked where she had hidden the mirrors. Sure enough, the mirrors were missing. "How the hell did someone steal them?! I made sure only you and I knew where those things were!" Bon Bon said.

"Looks like we're going to have to find the thief. Oh my gosh..." Lyra said.

"What is it?" Bon Bon asked.

"I'm all excited suddenly. We're going to be searching for a thief of S.M.I.L.E. gear! It'll be my first official mission as a S.M.I.L.E. operative. Eeeee!" Lyra said with glee.

Bon Bon giggled. "I thought my enthusiasm for missions was all gone, but for some reason, I'm getting excited too. I don't know if this is because it's my first mission with my marefriend by my side this time, or that I'll be teaching you the ropes as we go." She explained. "I think for this mission, we should just try and be our everyday selves as we find the thief." The Cream mare said.

"I like it. Undercover work while undercover! Eeee! I'm so excited!" Lyra said.

The two S.M.I.L.E. agents started going around places, searching for leads, soon finding a trail of red chess pieces, which lead them to...

"Princess Twilight's Castle? Our theif is inside here of all places?" Lyra asked.

"Yeah. I guess that's a fair point. Hope the theif isn't a guest of the princess." Bon Bon said. The two entered the castle and found more chess pieces leading them to...Cozy Glow's Room.

"Took you two long enough." Cozy Glow said. "I only made it so obvious after all." She said.

"You? Wait...since when did YOU get here?" Bon Bon asked.

"A couple of months ago. Seems S.M.I.L.E. is slipping in this age where as where I come from...it's been growing fast thanks to mom." Cozy Glow said.

"You can't be here! It'll break the time space continuum!" Lyra said. Suddenly she was flashed something. "Isn't this..." The cyan unicorn said.

"And it's signed by...NO BUCKING WAY!" Bon Bon said. "Th-that's my signature next to hers! It's full authorization!" Bon Bon said.

"Kind of funny huh? I'm authorized not just my mom, but your future self. Isn't that right, Secret Agent Sweetie Drops?" Cozy Glow said.

"...Well crap. So why'd you grab our mirrors anyways?" Lyra Heartstrings said.

"Because I know it was your first day, Secret Agent Lyra Heartstrings. I was told by future Bon Bon to give you a rookie mission as you call it while I was over here." Cozy Glow said.

"...So you really are from the future then." Bon Bon said.

"That's right. Don't worry, I'll return your mirrors. I just need you to look right here..." Cozy Glow said. A sudden flash engulfed the two mares.

When Bon Bon and Lyra Heartstrings came to, they had their mirros, and were back home. "Ugh...what happened?" Lyra Heartstrings asked.

"I...don't know. Last thing I remember was that we discovered the mirrors were missing. But it seems we found them...somehow." Bon Bon said.

"I wonder who stole them in the first place." Lyra Heartstrings said.

"I don't think it matters anymore." Bon Bon said.

Meanwhile, Cozy Glow was talking to the fourth wall.

"Also, I can't have any of you knowing about that whole future thing so...if I could just get everyone to look right here." Cozy Glow said. A blinding light suddenly occurred as the scene ended. Seems no one would ever know the truth behind this episode.

Season 4: Episode 6 - Opening Day

"It's finally time!" Twilight said as she opend the doors to the school of friendship with her magic. "Everypony, Everyling, and other creatures alike, I hereby welcome you all to the first official day of the brand new, School of Friendship." Twilight said.

"Pretty impressive place here." One pony said.

"This is going to be great. A lot of different creatures in one place!" A changeling said.

"I'm surprised at the representation of the various locations from across nearby kingdoms." A mysterious new creature said; it was a Kirin.

"Whoa...a kirin is here?!" Amiticia exclaimed. "Didn't think that friendship mission Applejack and Fluttershy went on just after the storm king invasion would actually allow Queen Rain Shine to allow some of her kind to attend the school so soon." He said.

"It was her way of an apology to me and my friends to allow a few kirins to intergrate themselves into the school." Twilight said. "Same thing with a few hippogrifs that have been given special necklaces that allow them to transform into seaponies when in water thanks to Queen Novo. It was a thing we agreed on to see how Hippogriffs would do interacting with other species." Twilight said.

"Speaking of cross breeds..." It was the hippogriff known as Silverstream. "I can't help but notice your showing a little more than last time, Headmare Twilight." She said.

"I might just be carrying twins. But me and Amiticia will see in a few months from now." Twilight said.

"I honestly can't wait to meet the first ever Pony and Changeling crossbreed." The changeling of the young six; Ocellus; stated.

Twilight giggled as she put a hoof on Ocellus. "It's nice to see you again, young Ocellus. I was very surprised to find that changelings other than the changeling queen can give birth now that you've all more or less taken on the same forms as Amiticia and Pharanx." Twilight said.

Ocellus started to rant as Cozy Glow looked over at the young six, smirking a bit. In her mind, she had a thought, but it was a thought that could not be fully interperted. Still, eventually the griffon Gallus put a claw over Ocellus's mouth. "Gee, you sure like to nerd out huh?" He asked.

Twilight giggled. "Just be careful not to make that a habit Ocellus; otherwise your friends will turn it into a word." She said.

"You mean that Twilighting thing Spike mentioned right?" Smolder asked.

"Yeah that." Twilight said. "Now, I really must go prepare schedules. Excuse me." She added and walked off with Amiticia.

"So no classes on the first day, just tour around and see the building and get to know students. Not a bad way to make good first impressions. I wonder whose idea it was." The stallion named Sandbar said.

"It was mine." Cozy Glow said who was now on top of the Yak, Yona. "Well...actually it was my mother's idea, but I passed it on to Headmare Twilight." Cozy Glow noted. "After all, mom says first impressions can be important for forming long lasting friendships." She explained.

"That sounds like a friendship lesson Headmare Twilight might have learnt once upon a time." Ocellus said. "Who really are you Cozy Glow? You claim to be the youngest ever chess champion on the face of the planet, but I couldn't find a single documentation to back up that statement. But I highly doubt you'd just lie about something like that. Which can only mean one thing." She explained.

"Heh heh heh...I have no idea what your tal--" Cozy Glow started to say.

"Whatever documentation pertaining to your past is classified by the crown for some wierd reason. The crown probably knows you're a prodigy beyond your years so their keeping the reality of your true nature top secret!" Ocellus said. "...At least...that's what I think." She added.

"Yeah...yeah that's right. Good going Ocellus, you found out the mystery. Now, do go explore and make friends." Cozy Glow said.

"Yona say we go together!" Yona said and then left with the rest of the Young Six.

Afterwards, Cozy Glow took out a locket. "That was close...too close." Cozy Glow said to herself.

"Hi Cozy Glow!" Sweetie Belle said.

"GAH!" Cozy Glow said, before falling to the ground. "What's up Sweetie Belle?" She asked.

"I was hoping you'd have some ideas on how to one-up Smolder. She and Spike have been hanging out just a little too much for my tastes." Sweetie Belle said.

"I...can't really help you one up Smolder. But try doing something with Spike for a change. I'm sure he'd love to spend time with you too." Cozy Glow said.

"That actually sounds good. Thanks Cozy Glow!" Sweetie Belle said and went off.

Cozy Glow opened the locket she had. If only you knew the future, Sweetie Belle, then maybe you'd get along better with my dragon aunt. She said. Inside the locket was a picture of what appeared to be a female dragon, male dragon, and female unicorn, standing over what appeared to be a young version of Cozy Glow; each one making a funny face at the camera.

Amiticia is referncing the Kirin Episode from the show. Yes it happened early and no there weren't any changes to it. Not that I could've made any to begin with.

Season 4: Episode 7 - A Rival Appears

"Another Friendship School is opening for ponies only? And with the same goal as us: To become the most popular friendship school in the country no less." Twilight said.

"What's worse, the entire paper work is filled out and in full. Not sure whose running it, but we won't give up. We'll win this contest, no sweat." Cozy Glow said. "After all, you have me to help you win." She pointed out to twilight.

"You seem to think your not involved, Cozy Glow, except I found purple chess pieces around places, but the most prominent piece is a Bishop. Your the only foal I know with a chess obsession." Chancellor Nieghsay said. "...And yet, I've look through your chess sets; you don't own a single one with the same dark purple as those chess pieces." He added.

"Well duh! Of course I don't! It'd be an insult. Dark Purple is a dark coloration of my favorite Alicorn Princess." Cozy Glow said.

"Wait...you mean I'm your favorite Alicorn Princess? Why Cozy Glow...I'm touched." Twilight said.

Of course then again, that's probably me being biased. Cozy Glow thought to herself; not even daring to say out of her mouth in case Twilight heard her.

"I...see..." Nieghsay said. Someone likes her over Princess Celestia or Luna? Then again, I can't say I blame the kid. Princess Twilight did work hard to get where she is now, and I respect that.

"But if it's not Cozy Glow leaving those pieces, then who is?" Amiticia asked.

"I wish I knew." Chancellor Nieghsay said and then left.

Chancellor Nieghsay sighed as he returned home for the day. This whole thing with the two friendships shcools was getting out of hand, fast. Suddenly, as he reached for his cup, it was hit with a dark purple bishop chess piece. "WHO GOES THERE?!" The chancellor exclaimed.

"Chill Chancellor. We're on the same side." A male voice said. Suddenly a black pegasus colt came into the chancellor's view. "We want the same thing in the end: We both want education to remain exclusive to just us ponies." The colt said. He has a dark purple bishop for a cutie mark.

"Why do you want that, colt?" Chancellor Neighsay asked.

"To make sure history remains the same. See, I come from the future. In the future, the school I just helped make it's headway recently? Well it becomes more popular then that Princess Twilight's School. Once it does, your proven to be right. And if you want the same thing Chancellor, you'll help make that possible." The pegasus colt said.

"What's in it for me?" Chancellor neighsay said. "I prefer to keep things unbiased if you don't mind." He said.

"Well the woman who will become my mother in the future? She said she'll promise you a reward once you win in the past." The pegasus colt said.

"Interesting. You mean like a promotion through the system?" Chancellor Nieghsay asked.

"More like you going down in history as the pony who helped shaped equestria into the new age of friendship." The pegasus colt said.

"Interesting. I have always wanted to make my mark in Equestrian history. Whoever your mother turns out to be, she knows me well." Chancellor said.

"But of course she does. By the way, my full name is Prince Dusk T. Shine. But since we're going to be working together, you can just call me Dusk Shine if you want. I may be royalty in the future, but that's only if history stays the same." The Colt said.

"Well then Dusk Shine, let the fun begin." Chancellor Nieghsay said. "But only if we do this my way, got that, future Prince?" He asked. "That means no rigging things." The chancellor said.

"Sure thing, partner. Just follow my advice when it's needed and we'll be fine." Dusk Shine said.

"So far, all the students have been enjoying our friendship school. I just wish we knew how the other school is doing right now." Twilight Sparkle said.

"But we can't. Chancellor Neighsay said we couldn't. But that's fine. By the time the servey comes up, we'll be on top." Cozy Glow said and then went to her room. She discovered a dark purple bishop piece in her room. "You..." She said.

"Aw I'm hurt. Your my sister from the so called go--" Dusk Shine began before Cozy Glow suddenly put a hoof in the pegasus colt's mouth.

"Your not my real brother, and we don't talk about that. We're not supposed to." Cozy Glow said.

"Sadly, I did. Because I got a counterplan to make sure it's my 'you-know-what' that comes to pass." Dusk Shine said.

"You know if that happens, there will be war." Cozy Glow said.

"I really don't like this version of you. I think my version of you better. Much more warrior in nature. Which is how we should be. Because there will always be another threat to friendship and the society as it is now? It's much too weak to protect friendships if you ask me. Everyone is always quick to forgive and forget like nothing ever happened. Starlight got off scott free for basically brainwashing an entire village and kidnapping a princess not to mention the heroes of Equestria. And don't even get me started on Discord also getting off scott free for siding with Lord Tirek and all the things wrong with THAT." Dusk Glow said.

"Because that's how friendship works." Cozy Glow said.

"Wrong! That's how MERCY works. It's not the same thing as real friendship. Sure it's born from heardships but that sort of stuff SHOULD NOT be going so unpunished. Some sort of system MUST be put in place to make an example out of those that endanger pure friendship as Twilight knows it as." Dusk Shine said.

"But Starlight has been learning friendship under Twilight, and she helped save the wedding between Twilight and Amiticia." Cozy Glow said.

"I KNOW THAT! But what's that going to do for the next person who does EXACTLY what she did? Means no one learnt anything." Dusk Shine said.

"There will always be another Starlight, or another Discord, or another Lord Tirek." Cozy glow said.

"But what if the next generation of ponies is too weak to stand up to those kinds of threats? What then?" Dusk Shine asked. "At least on my side, every creature is strong enough for that." He added.

"No. Your wrong." Cozy Glow said.

"Well...we'll just see whose 'you khow what' comes true then, won't we?" Dusk Shine asked and then vanished.

"...It has to be mine that comes true...for the sake of the very world itself." Cozy Glow said.

Season 4: Episode 8 - Prologue to a Truth

"Wow..." Twilight said as she looked at the recent survey of her school. "So far, the school has a one hundred percent favorable rate." She noted.

"Means we're doing things right. Cozy Glow really knows her stuff, apparently." Amiticia said.

"Speaking of her, she has been a valuable asset. I've offered her the position of Headmare's assistant, since Spike is handling a few things of his own with dealing with affections from both Sweetie Belle and Smolder at once; but she turned me down." Twilight said.

"That's odd. That kind of thing should be right up her ally." Amiticia said. "I wonder why she declined it?" He asked.

"I have no idea, but I won't press her for details. I'm sure there's a perfectly reasonable explanation for everything. Even if I already have a sneaking suspicion as to what that explanation is. But the very thought of it needs more evidence." Twilight said. "Most I've got so far, is that she might be from the future." She added.

"That...actually makes sense." Amiticia said. "Then her mother could be someone we don't even know." She added.

"Actually it would have to be someone I trust. Otherwise, my future self wouldn't have sent her back in time to help us." Twilight said.

"Good point..." Amiticia said.

Cozy Glow heard the whole conversation and headed back to her room. "...Well, seems some things never change. At least it's easy to see where I got my smarts from. I wonder if Twilight will figure out who my mother really is." She said to herself.

Meanwhile, Chancellor Nieghsay had his face on the desk; it seems that the school for just ponies is doing very poorly in the popularity catagory.

"Gee, that's bad." Dusk Shine said. "But we can't give up." He added.

"Let's face it Dusk Shine; obviously the school isn't working. And it's been perfectly following the EEA guidlines too. Wish I knew how Twilight's school has been operating but Cozy Glow has blocked me from getting that information at every turn." Chancellor Neighsay said.

"Wait you didn't know? Princess Twilight's School has been operating outside the EEA Guidlines. I really thought you knew that." Dusk Shine said.

"SAY WHAT?!" Chancellor Nieghsay exclaimed.

The next day...

"Another day and another chance to spread friendships." Twilight said as she began the day. However, suddenly magic chains began to appear around her school. "Hey what's going on?" The purple alicorn asked and then headed outside to see Chancellor Nieghsay with a very wierd medallion. "What are you dong?" Twilight asked.

"Shutting down your school. Unless of course you agree to follow EEA guidlines to their exact nature." Chancellor Neighsay said.

"Excuse me?! That was not part of the deal!" Twilight said.

"It is now. So either follow the rules, or forfeit the deal." Chancellor Neighsay said.

Twilight and her friends were now staring down Chancellor Nieghsay.

"So Princess Twilight Sparkle, are you going to follow the rules, or are you going to forfiet?" Chancellor Neighsay asked.

"You can't do this. Following EEA guidlines was never part of the original deal." Twilight said.

"Well I didn't know you were going to ignore the EEA's guidlines and rules. They exist for a reason. Not even Princess Celestia is exempt from those rules and yet she follows them to a T. If you want to prove your school is the better school, then you'll have to follow the rules too." Chancellor Neighsay said.

Behind a bush, Dusk Shine was grinning. Only a matter of time, just keep pushing her, Chancellor Neighsay. And soon, you will go down in history as the one responsible for turning Equestria into a Warzone; just like history SHOULD be. He thought to himself. Suddenly Cozy Glow flew in. What the...what's she doing here? Dusk Shine asked.

"You again, Cozy Glow? You can't talk your way out of this one. Try all you might, but unless Twilight agrees to the EEA guidlines, the deal is forfiet." Chancellor Neighsay said.

"She doesn't have to agree to your rules." Cozy Glow said before taking out a docoment, signed by each member of the high council. "I had a feeling this would happen eventually, so I got an official document signed by the High Coincil; the same high council who has the very power to over-rule an alicorn's decision." Cozy Glow said.

"And what document is that?" Chancellor Nieghsay asked and grabbed the document. "...SAY WHAT?!" The Unicorn Stallion exclaimed.

"And you've just been checkmated." Cozy Glow said.

"Grr...fine...seems I have no choice." Chancellor Neighsay said before removing the chains around Twilight's school. "Of course now you realize, you've given the other school the same leeway right? Now I can safely tell them that they too can operate outside of the EEA rules and regulations to surpass you." Chancellor Neighsay said.

"I'm fully aware of that. But that's a risk I'm willing to take." Cozy Glow said.

"Hmph!" Chancellor Neighsay said. "You've won this round, Cozy Glow, but mark my words, you have not won the war." He said and then left.

After a while, Dusk Shine began following him. "What just happened?" Dusk Shine asked.

"See for yourself." Chancellor Nieghsay said, handing the document over to Dusk Shine.

"'It is hearby the opinion of the High Court, that if Princess Twilight wishes to fully challenge the EEA's stance on a pony-only education, that they can go about it however they wish; even if that means not following the EEA's rules and regulations. The deal is about proving that more then just ponies can exhibit friendship, and the high court is interested in seeing where this situation goes. So, if Princess Twilight Sparkle can uphold the deal of making her school the more popular friendship school, then the winner will be Twilight Sparkle regardless of how she goes about it. And this same principle applies to a pony only friendship school.'" Dusk Shine read off. "...Clever girl..." He said.

"That Cozy Glow is some sort of super genius." Chancellor Neighsay said.

"Well she's from a future where Twilight proves you right, and it makes everything; not just ponies; become weaker in my eyes. But trust me Chancellor; I can help you make sure that it is you who comes out on top." Dusk Shine said. And when you do, Equestria will be engulfed by a bloody cival war; many will die for the greater good, but that's the price to pay for making friendship become unbreakable. He thought to himself.

"Hmph...we'll see." Chancellor Neighsay said as the scene closed.

Special Episode: Cozy Glow & The Truth Laid Bare

A mysterious changeling colt who sported the look of the changelings while they were still separated from ponies soon approached an isolated area. "No more waiting around." The changeling said. "My mother and empress is counting on me to cause the Equestrian Cival War." He added. Suddenly he pulled from some other future; out came the heroes of Future Equestria: Sunny Starscout, Hitch Trailblazer, Izzy Moonbow, Zip Storm, and Pipp Petals.

"Ugh...what just happened?" Sunny asked.

"Hey, is that one of them changelings we heard about?" Izzy asked.

"Your right Izzy, it is. I heard that you changelings can transform into other ponies. Is it true?" Sunny asked.

"How does this answer your question?" The changeling before them then turned into a black pegasus pony. "You may refer to me as Dusk Shine. And...I have called upon you five heroes from Equestria's future for a purpose." Dusk Shine said.

"What sort of purpose?" Hitch Trailblazer asked, skeptical.

"Why that's simple: Don't you want to stop your three tribes from ever breaking apart? Prevent the magic of Equestria from ever going away?" Dusk Shine said. "I have brought you into he past for that specific purpose. Of course, fixing the past means of course you'll have to go up against the Mane Six themselves to change the future." He added.

"Well I would like to stop the magic from ever going away. So...what else is in it for us?" Sunny Starscout asked.

"You'll see soon. You'll all see soon." Dusk Shine said.

Chancellor Neighsay was doing some paper work when suddenly Dusk Shine in his Pegasus Colt disguise. "Dusk Shine? What are you doing here?" The Chancellor asked.

"Here to make sure things go as I want them to." Dusk Shine said before suddenly dropping his disguise and heading up to Chancellor Neighsay.

"What on equestra? Wait, what are you doing? NO! STOP THAT! NO! NO! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Chancellor Neighsay yelled out. But no one heard him.

The high coincil was doing their thing when all five members were suddenly hit by green themed magic. Dusk Shine soon appeared in his changeling form before giving off an evil laugh.

A bit later, Fluttershy was busy doing her thing with Discord when suddenly Discord was knocked unconcious by a green magic bolt.

"Wh-whose there?" Fluttershy asked. "Wait who are you? NO! NO! DISCORD WAKE UP! DISCORD! DISCOOOOOORD!" She screamed out.

Rainbow Dash heard Fluttershy's but got there to see a knocked out Discord. "What happened here?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"I...I don't know..." Disord said as he came to. "Where's Fluttershy? The last thing I remember is hearing Fluttershy scream." Discord said.

"...I have a bad feeling about this..." Rainbow Dash said. "We need to gather everyone." She added.

The remaining members of the Mane Six were in the map room alongside Amiticia.

"I can't believe Fluttershy has gone missing." Twilgiht said.

"I checked everywhere. There's no sign of her." Rainbow Dash said. Suddenly Princess Celestia and Princess Luna appeared.

"What's going on Princesses?" Applejack asked.

"We're not sure. Not only have the members of the high court gone missing, but so has Chancellor Neighsay." Celestia said. Cozy Glow soon flew into the room.

"Not good, not good, not good, not good!" Cozy Glow said, panicking.

"Cozy Glow, is something the matter?" Amiticia asked the pink pegasus.

"Yeah. Something is most certainly the matter, as you need to come outside to see this." Cozy Glow said.

"Oh now what's going on?" Princess Luna asked.

Suddenly in the sky was a dark red color, replacing the cloudy day that was scheduled for that day's weather.

"Okay, that is most certainly NOT something done from the weather factory." Rainbow Dash said. Lightning Dust soon showed up, holding an injured Clear Skies; various magic burns coated his body.

"He...he came...out of nowhere...took me by surprise." Clear Skies said.

"Who did this to you Clear Skies? Who?" Rainbow Dash asked.

Clear Skies pointed to a changeling who has the form of what the changelings looked like prior to Amiticia helping them unite with Equestria. "He...he did this..." Clear Skies said.

"Dusk Shine. I should've known you'd be behind this." Cozy Glow said.

"Ah good, your all here. Then we can get straight to business." Dusk Shine said. Suddenly out from various portals came the missing high council members and Chancellor Neighsay. But Dusk Shine specifically was holding onto Fluttershy.

"Fluttershy!" Rainbow Dash said, and started to approuch Dusk Shine before the changeling colt stopped her with a magic blast.

"Oh no you don't. Take one more step towards me, and I won't hesitate to kill your friend here." Dusk Shine said.

"What do you want, Dusk Shine?" Twilight asked.

"What do I want? That's simple: I want the element of magic. You have three hours to hand it over, or your friend dies. Got that?" Dusk Shine asked.

"That's blackmail!" Rainbow Dash said.

"Tick tock, tick tock...I'd hurry and hand over the element if I were you." Dusk Shine said.

"Girls...don't do it..." Fluttershy said. "This colt is mad...please don't do it. Forget about me...just save yourselves." She added.

After being hit into the ground, Dusk Shine regurgitates the Element of magic, which is caught by Cozy Glow who promptly uses its magic to untie the high court and chancellor Neighsay. "High court, you may have the honors." Cozy Glow said.

"You came to the wrong house fool." The high court's chief member said before taking out Chancellor Neighsay's pony-only education policy. "It's pretty obvious that friendship isn't limited to just ponies after all." The high council said and tore the document up.

"NO! YOU CAN'T DO THIS TO ME!" Dusk Shine said but was punched by Smolder; the changeling colt began fading. "NO! I WAS SO CLOSE! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Dusk Shine yelled out before finally fading away fully.

"Thank god...it's all over." Cozy Glow said. "Now I can finally go home." She said.

"Guess we'll be heading back soon too." Sunny Starscout said.

"Sunny, I may not know what the future holds, but if ponies like you live in the future...then it can't be all bad." Twilight said. Sunny smiled before she and the next gen ponies were sucked up into a portal.

"By the way Cozy Glow, there's something I have to know." Chancellor Nieghsay said. "Dusk Shine mentioned he was from some sort of future. Given how you didn't disappear but he did, means you exist on opposite timelines: One where my policy remained in place, and another where it didn't. So, I have to know: Are you really from the future like he is?" He asked.

"...Guess he said something he shouldn't have. It's true. I'm from the future." Cozy Glow said.

"So...you aren't even technically born yet. That's so strange." Pinkie Pie said. "I should know, I OWN strange." She said.

"So then...whose your mother?" Rainbow Dash asked. "I'm super curious what mare gave birth to a super genius." She added.

"...It's me." Twilight said as she approuched Cozy Glow. "It's always been me hasn't it Cozy Glow? Why else would my future self send you? There's only one person I would know that I would trust enough to make sure history remained as it was written, and that is me and no one else. Let's face it, even if all my friends have their own quirks, only I would ever think that far ahead." Twilight said. Amitcia whistled.

"Damn Twilight; looks like you're going to give birth to a super genius soon." The changeling of friendship said.

"Gee dad, you couldn't have made that sound more rediculous?" Cozy Glow asked.

"Now..." Twilight said before touching her horn to Cozy Glow; magic washed over the pegasus, soon revealing instead an alicorn.

"A-an alicorn from the future?!" Celestia exclaimed. "Not even I could've seen that one coming." She added.

"How'd you know?" Cozy Glow asked.

"What kind of mother would not know the truth behind their own child?" Twilight asked.

"Gee mom...no wonder you and dad work so well together." Cozy Glow said.

"So wait...that means that Cozy Glow mother really is Twilight Sparkle then?" Chancellor Neighsay said. "...And here I go..." He added before fainting. But he was jolted awake by another time portal.

"...It's time for me to go." Cozy Glow said. "But fret not, you'll soon get to see me grow up before your eyes." She added before she suddenly was sent through the time portal which closed up behind her.

"...I never got the chance to tell her how proud I am of her." Twilight said.

"I think you will sooner for her then you think." Amiticia said. Twilight smiled.

"Yeah...I suppose your right." Twilight said. Amiticia smiled back and the two leaned against one another.

Together, no matter what may come their way now, Twilight and the Changeling of Friendship will be ready for it.

Season 4: Episode 9 - Aftermath

Twilight was enjoying a few of her books with Amiticia; it was currently saturday and that meant she could take some time to relax. And she needed it too, after what had happened.

"Really wish I could've told Cozy Glow how proud of her I am." Twilight said.

"I'm sure your future self has already said as much herself." Amiticia said.

Twilight giggled in response. "Guess it'll be up to me to make sure the present day Cozy Glow grows up to be just as brilliant." The purple alicorn said.

"I know you will. At least she has a good mom to take after. I'd hate to see a Cozy Glow who isn't so lucky." Amiticia said.

"Same here." Twilight said.

"...Is something the matter, Twilight?" Amiticia asked.

"It's just that...Cozy Glow will be the first ever pony whose half-changeling. It'll be...interesting to see how things play out." Twilight said.

"You worry too much." Amiticia said.

Twilight smiled. "You always know what to say, Amiticia." The purple alicorn said before nuzzling her husband.

"...Ugh...can you check the room before you get all lovey dovey with each other?" Tempest Shadow asked.

"Sorry Tempest. So, is there something you need?" Twilight asked.

"Yeah. Got this mouse looking thing and this lion looking thing asking for you." Tempest said. "Should I send them in? They don't look like anything I've ever seen, personally." She added.

"Mouse and lion? Send them in." Twilight said. Tempest did so after leaving the room. "...Just as I thought. Raiden and Lightning." Twilight said.

"Been a while, I know. I heard some that there was some kind of evil changeling from the future going around doing stuff to ensure some kind of evil future so I headed here as soon as I could, only to find out that by the time I got here, it's already been sorted out. Did you use that magic of friendship stuff on him, is that why you were able to deal with him?" Raiden asked.

"Well...if you must know..." Twilight said before beginning to explain everything that just happened a few days ago.

"...Ah...I see..." Raiden said. "So good future Cozy Glow helped you out then, huh?" He asked.

"Good future?" Amiticia asked, confused.

"Come on, I've seen enough pairs of siblings to know how they talk with one another, and from what I can tell, you guys got visited by the Cozy Glow from the good future; one where a civil war never broke out because of the EEA's policy being thrown out the window." Raiden said.

"I get that. And I get that Dusk Shine is from the bad future where a cival war broke out somehow because the EEA's policy was put into place forever." Twilight said.

"Why are you telling us something we already figured out?" Amiticia asked.

"Gee, you don't see it do you? The Dusk Shine you met? Obviously from the bad future sure, but everyone always has a good future and a bad future counterpart when your dealing with alternate future beings coming from the future doing their best to make sure their future is the one that previals." Raiden said. "What I'm trying to say is, just as how there was a Cozy Glow from the good future where the EEA's policy became null and void, there's also a Cozy Glow from the bad future where that cival war broke out." He explained.

"Wait what? If that's the case, why wouldn't my bad future self send her instead of Dusk Shine?" Twilight asked.

"Do you really need to ask me that? This is YOUR evil future self we're talking about after all." Raiden countered.

"...I...guess that's a good point..." Twilight said.

"Though really, that's just me guessing. I'm sure there's some super special reason why your changeling child was the one sent from the bad future setting. But I couldn't begin to tell you the reason why." Raiden said. "Welp, we'll be going now." He added before leaving.

"...So, acording to Raiden, your going to have a second child at some point. But at least this Dusk Shine that happens won't be evil." Amiticia said.

"Yeah, good point." Twilight said.

Author's Note

For those that question Raiden talking in this chapter, let it be known that Raiden and Lightning are from the PMD version of the Pokemon World, and as evidenced by the second PMD games; those being Explorers of Time, Darkness, and Sky; the Pokemon of the PMD world are capable of communicating with humans if the flashbacks with the human version of the PMD Explorers hero talking with Grovyle is anything to go by. You know, the ones that regard the time gears specifically.

Season 1: Prologue - To the basement with you!

I don't do the whole bug speech thing that pre-reformed changelings do; so don't bug me about it. Also, this is a short chapter.

...I am realizing as I am getting ready to start writing the story proper that I just said don't bug me about bug speech. IT WAS NOT A GOOD IDEA TO DO THIS WHILE FEELING TIRED!

Season 1: Prologue - To the basement with you!

"Just a little bit more love, and then I can move onto the next pony..." A changeling drone with green eyes as opposed to the usual blue said as he drained the love from a random pony. Suddenly he spied a lavander unicorn nearby. "Hmm...that one looks like she would have much love." He said. He was just about to finish up when the Love Bomb occured. "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" The drone yelled.

As he was being sent flying, he ran into the bottom of a balloon's basket and then fell all the way into a tree and then crashed through a basement's door.

"Ugh...my head hurts...can't maintain consciousness..." The changeling said. "And...I can't remember...anything..." He said before he passed out.

What no one would know, is that he had landed in the basement of the Golden Oak Library, where one Twilight Sparkle stayed, but she wouldn't know of her new houseguest until a little bit later...

Season 2: Episode 2 - Starcrossed Aftermath

The crew of the CoF world were lead by Lola and Lone Star to the Vault of Secrets twice over, but before going back to their own world, Amiticia approuched DoF Twilight.

"Hey for what it's worth, it was a pleasure meeting you, other Twilight." Amiticia said. "Here's hoping that if we run into each other again, it's under much better circumstances." He added before he and the CoF gang headed back to their world.

Back in their world, Lone Star departed back for Radical Junction before Spitfire showed up.

"Geez, that was insane. Dimension hopping combined with taking out some sort of ancient evil being? Gotta admit, your a shoe in to become part of the Wonderbolts Reserves at this point Rainbow Dash. But first, you gotta get through the big test." Spitfire said. "Later!" She said and sped off.

Lone Star entered the graveyard at Radical Junction, but found a single unicorn pony there.

"...If your objective was to hide here, you'd be out of luck; this place is trained in detecting your magic, Queen Chrysalis." Lone Star said to the unicorn mare.

"I'm not here to hide. I'm just making a quick stop before I head out past this place." The disguised queen of changelings said. She was in front of Amore's gravestone.

"So...come here to see your husband's grave huh? After what you pulled in Canterlot, what makes you think you have the right?" Lone Star asked.

"I don't. But I wanted to tell him that whatever the reason for him giving his life to save the lives of ponies...I want to find the truth for myself." Chrysalis said. "Because something must have changed for him to do such a thing. And I can no longer trust simple words. Whatever it was that my husband saw in ponies like yourself that made him willingly sacrifice his life for you all, that is something I want to find out for myself. No filter, no tricks, no scheme; this is all for the sake of the truth." She added.

"...If your husband was alive, I think he'd tell you what I'm telling you now: If that's what you want, what you truly want, then don't let me stop you." Lone Star said.

"I didn't plan on it." Chrysalis said before leaving.

"Good luck to you, Vita." Lone Star said.

Author's Note

A bit short, but hey, it's an aftermath chapter.

And yes, Lone Star just called Chrysalis "Vita" which is the latin word for "life". How fitting is it then, that Chrysalis gave birth to the changeling hive we know and love from the show?

Season 2: Episode 8 Extra - Something More Still

"This is your castle? Wow..." Starlight said.

"Please note that, for the time being, you will be accompanied by some changeling guards. At least until the rest of the elements believe you can be trusted." Amiticia said.

"That's fine..." Starlight said. "I just didn't think after my childhood friend just...forgot about me...I'd ever find true friendship again..." She said.

"You'll have to tell me that full story someday. For now, rest easy." Twilight said. "So Amiticia, I didn't hear everything Starlight said, but...she was looking at you funny when she had her voice just above a whisper. What happened that made her drop her voice so low?" Twilight said.

"She realized my greatest feeling for you, Twilight. She saw it in my eyes." Amiticia said. "I wasn't fully clear on my crush on you earlier. It's not really much of a simple crush anymore. I...honestly love you to pieces and back, Princess Twilight Sparkle. I was going to wait until after a few dates to really say as much but--" Amiticia was suddenly caught off guard by a kiss on the lips from Twilight. "W-whoa..." Amiticia said.

"Whoa is right." Twilight said, smiling. "I'm glad you feel the same way, Amiticia. I know I'm normally nervous but...I had a feeling you'd feel the same way. And it seems the elements sense it too. Otherwise, why else would they send you too?" She asked.

"I wonder if it's more so the Tree of Harmony's work then the elements." Amiticia said.

"You are more then just my friend now, Amiticia. You are my special somepony. And I feel like together, we can spread friendship across Equestria. And beyond if we need to." Twilight said.

"I like the sound of that." Amiticia said and the two kissed once more.

Season 2: Epilogue Scene - Crossover Hook

A few dragons were spotted gathering a few things, and then heading for some underground base. There, a mysterious figure was waiting for them.

"At last. The four treasures of the apocalypse. With these in hand, everything that I could ever want will soon be mine." The figure said. "You dragons have served me well." The figure said.

"Yeah. So, about that reward you mentioned?" One of the dragons asked.

"Oh yes. Your reward. First, the treasures if you'd please." The figure said. The dragons handed over the treasures without a word. "Thank you, truly. Now it is time for you to receive your reward. Your eternal reward..." The figure said before they took off with the treasures. Suddenly the entire place the dragons were in exploded in a great pillar of overwhelming fire; so much so that not even the fire immune dragons could survive. Looking down, floating in the sky, the figure laughed. "At long last...it is time for my great revenge!" The figure said and flew off.

Unbeknownst to the figure, a special rabbit was watching the entire scene unfold, and then afterwards, headed for the Vault of Secrets.
