Chapters Descendants 2: My once upon a time 4
Mal was being bombarded with reporters, clambouring onto statues, as they tried to talk to her.
“HEY!” I cried, coming up with Ben and Flash. “Leave her alone! She just wants some quiet time.”
Mal shot me a grateful look, but the cameras turned on me.
“And who are you?” asked one of the reporters.
“I’m Mal’s half-sister.” I said boldly, mustering as much courage as I could get. “And right now, Mal needs some alone time.”
“Unless you want us to kick you out,” said Fairy Godmother.
Mal ran. “MAL!” shouted Ben. “MAL!”
I sighed. “I’m going to send a letter to a friend. It’s about time I wrote to her.”
I ran to the dormy, where no one was there.
I sighed, before flopping down on my bed.

chapter 5: Mal vs Uma(Uma point of view)
Sunset came in, with a brown satchel on her back.
“Sunset!” I cried, rushing to hug her. “I’m so glad to see you! Did Harry tell you about our plan to Kidnap Ben?”
Sunset nodded. “I think that’s a wonderful idea.”
I brightened. “You do?”
“Yeah,” said Sunset. “I have an idea. Listen. If we disguise ourselves then Ben or the others won’t notice us and we can get him. We then keep him in the backroom with me, still disguised, and then you and Mal have a wrestling match. If she loses...”
“We get the wand!” I cried. “What is it like in Auradon?”
“Positively awful.” said Sunset. “I have a boyfriend from CHS. He loves Auradon. I’m more at home on the Isle. But I can’t leave Flash. I love him to bits!”
I smiled. “You really care about people, don’t you?”
Sunset noddded. “He’s the love of my life. Listen. If all fails, I’ll try and find a way off the Isle for you. How does that sound?”
“Great!” I cried. “Well, what are you guys waiting for! Get him!”
Harry and Sunset sneaked up on Ben, before she dragged Ben away while they weren’t looking. Carlos turned, to see he was gone.
Harry turned. “Oh, if you want Ben back, tell Mal she has to be at Ursula’s fish and chips by... 9 am. Today.”
Harry laughed, before going off.
We kept Ben in the backroom with Sunset, disguised.
I was wrestling Mal, who was winning then-
She was so angry, when i told her she must give me the wand by noon on my ship.
“Where’s my sister?” demanded Mal.
“Oh,” I said. “I’ll never tell.”

I know the rest of the story doesn’t make a lot of sense but Sunset betrays the Rainbooms

chapter 6: getting to Ben(Sunset pov)
The VKs, the remainder of the Rainbooms, Flash, Trixie and Lonnie arrived at our ship. I still kept my hood up, because I didn’t want to be seen. Yet. Over on the plank was Ben, bound and gagged, Harry standing behind him, with a sword, ready.
I watched my sister and the rest of them come in, with swords. Uma held her hand out demandingly. Mal turned to Dude, she whispered, “Talk dog!” Then Dude started to jabber on about bacon. Fluttershy tried to calm him down.
Mal handed her the wand and we burst into song.
Then we started fighting, and that’s when I pulled my hood down. I was against Flash Sentry, my boyfriend. Flash gasped, stumbling backwards, nearly falling into the sea below. He didn’t. He clambered up and kept fighting. “Why?” he asked. “Why are you fighting us?”
“I couldn’t decide! On one hand, I wanted to join you, but on the other, I felt I had to join Uma! She’s my oldest friend!”
“But you betrayed us!” screamed Rainbow Dash from nearby. “How can you be forgiven?”
“I do forgive Sunset.” said Flash. “I understand. Who would you fight for if Applejack was on one team and Soarin’ on another?”
For once, the sporty athlete was speechless.
“I’m sorry.” I said.
“You were behind stealing Ben, weren’t you?” accused Rainbow Dash.
I nodded. “Harry. Let him go. Please.”
Ben rejoiced. Mal hurried over to him, gave him a sword, and he started fighting too.
“Flash. Please. I’m so sorry.”
I passed out.
Thoughts ran through my head, thoughts of Demon Shimmer. I shivered, as I remembered the words I said. Before, during and after.
Flash bent over me, trying to wake me. “She’s slipping away.” said Fluttershy in her gentle voice. “Try to wake her up for cotillion.”
Flash nodded. “Sunset. Please.” He said softly, pressing my heart gently. My eyes fluttered open. I was in the back seat of the limo.
“Wha- What happened?” I stammered.
“You passed out. We won.” he said. “You don’t have to go, if you don’t want to.”

How I met Uma(Sunset pov)
When I was about 9, I was banished from Equestria forever. I decided to run away. At first, I thought the portal would lead me to the human world, instead, it lead me to the Isle. Uma found me, and we talked, about my past and her past. We kind of struck up a friendship, a cool one at that. But then, the portal to the human world opened. I promised Uma I would write to her, as much as possible.
Oh those good old days when I swashbuckled with her.
We still keep in touch, like Rarity and Evie keep in touch.
But my friendship with Uma could change my relationship with Mal forever...

chapter 1: ways to be wicked
I watched Mal, her eyes full of worry. “Mal.” I said. “What’s up?”
“Nothing.” she said.
I grasped her wrist, my whole body stiffened, and my cyan eyes glowed white, as I saw her thoughts.
“We got all the ways to be W-I-C-K-E-D We got all the ways to be, W-I-C-K-E-D!” we cried.
There was some indistinct singing I couldn’t catch then-
“Crashing the party, guess they lost my invitation!” cried Mal. “Friendly reminder, I have my own kind of persuaion.”
I saw Carlos, Jay and Evie singing too.
Then we all joined in, “LONG LIVE HAVIN’ SOME FUN WE TAKE WHAT WE WANT THERE ARE MULTIPLE WAYS TO BE WICKED WITH US EVIL LIVES ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF WRONG THERE ARE MULTIPLE WAYS TO BE WICKED
Then they were wreaking havoc in the classrooms, letting everyone free, as they danced into the yard, singing, dancing, yelling, being teenagers.
The thought ended.
I let go of Mal’s wrist. “You were trying to calm yourself down for the Cotillion, right?”
“yeah.” said Mal. “Who are you going with?”
I looked around, before whispering, “Flash. I’m going to propose to him at Cotillion.”
“Sweet,” she said. “I’ve got Ben.”

chapter 3:What's my name?(Uma!)- Uma point of view
Gil switched that propoganda machine on. “Hey, Shrimpy!” shouted Gil. “Letter for you!”
I sighed. “I’ll open later. HARRY! Take Gil out!”
Harry dragged Gil out of the shop. I started singing, to make sure everyone knew my name.
My name is Uma, daughter of Ursula.
I opened the letter. I smiled. It was from an old friend that I hadn’t heard from for about a month.
Dear Uma,
I smiled, before getting a scrap piece of paper.
Hi Sunset-
I smiled, before handing the letter to Gil.

chapter 4: Chillin' like a villain(ah oh oh) Sunset POV
We got over to the Isle, as fast as possible. But first, we had to teach Ben how to NOT be himself.
That’s where Evie came in. I guess.
Evie demonstrated perfectly on how a villain should behave. You should creep around
She yeowled.
And then there’s me. Already plotting on how to get to Uma.
Anyway, Ben did try. He did try his best.
“Damn.” muttered Jay, looking around.
“Sorry,” said Rainbow Dash. “That was Harry.”
I had to go. “GUYS. I need to go- errr, I have to find Harry, so he doesn’t cause trouble.”
That was a complete lie. I knew I was going to help Uma, one way or another.
I raced down the alleyway, following Harry. “Harry, wait. It’s me, Sunset Shimmer!”
Harry turned. “I remember you!” he cried. “You used to visit Uma a lot, before you moved away. Uma said she was expecting you.” He brought his voice to a whisper. “You said Ben’s here? Here’s what we do. Kidnap him, get Mal to come to Ursula’s fish and chips and if she loses against Uma, we must get the wand. Sound like a plan?”
I nodded. “I’d do anything to help my best friends out. Even if betraying my other friends.”

Flash met me at the top of the stairs, before heading onto the ship. He held my hand. Together, we walked down, onto the deck, where I was met by Evie, Jay and Carlos.
“How you feeling?” asked Applejack. “Ah heard ya passed out.”
“I did.” I said. “I only passed out because I realised what I had done. Demon Shimmer spoke to me while fighting.”
“Oh dear,” said Twilight. “Midnight still talks to me.”
“You feeling okay?” asked Applejack. “I sure hope you are. Cause if ya do feel faint... then just let us know.”
I nodded. “Sure.”
We watched Mal, Ben and Uma come down. And Jane told Lumiere to reveal Ben’s masterpiece.
“No. No. NO!” shouted Uma, angrily. “What about me?!”
I shot Uma a look of warning. Ben gave her his ring. Mal went right up to him and kissed him.
Uma growled, before jumping into the sea.
“NO!” I cried, as the water splashed over everyone, including me. Water kills me.
I couldn’t bear the pain. It was like my skin was peeling off, burning. “No, Uma!”
Mal’s eyes glowed green, as I swayed side to side, trying to balance. Mal rose up, purple smoke rising, as she turned into a dragon.
I was weakening, slowly. The pain was too great. I couldn’t even stand up.
Flash grasped my arm, well, what was left of me.
I collapsed. My eyes fluttered closed. “Flash.” I said. “I love you.”
Those were my last words before I died.
“No.” said Flash, sobbing. “No, please. Come back. I- I love you too.”

Sunset does return, but as Demon Shimmer.

You and me(Ben point of view)
Uma was defeated. I heard sobbing from the other side, Flash Sentry. I gasped, as I saw Sunset Shimmer’s body. No one knew much about Sunset, perhaps she was a great friend and Uma’s oldest friend. But I had to do something about it.
Cheer everyone up. I burst into song, and Mal joined in.
Soon everyone else joined in, and singing.
Everyone, but Flash, Trixie, Wallflower, Soarin’ and the Equestria Girls.

I’m sorry for the unhappy ending- but we will see Sunset again- but as a villain later.
