Just a messager

"That's quite impossible. This is a private project; the enclave has no authority here. I'm going to have to ask you to leave at once,"
"Am I to assume, sir, that you are in charge?"
"Yes, I am responsible for this project,"
"Then I repeat, sir, that you are hereby instructed to immediately hand over all materials related to the purifier,"
"I'm sorry but that's..."
"Furthermore, you are to assist enclave scientist in assuming control of the administration and operation of this facility at once,"
"colonel... is it colonel? I'm sorry, but the facility is not operational. It never has been. I'm afraid you're wasting your time here,"
"Sir, this is the last time I am going to repeat myself. Stand down at once, and turn over control to this facility,"
"Colonel, I assure you that this facility will not function. We have never been able to successfully replicate test results..."
*BANG!*
"I suggest you comply immediately, sir, in order to prevent any more incidents. Are we clear?"
"Yes, colonel. I'll do whatever you want; there's no need for more violence,"
"Then you will immediately hand over. All materials related to this project, and aid us in making it operational at once,"
"Very well. give me a few moments to bring the system online,"
...

...
'Dad no!'
"Enough with these delays,"
"It will be a few more moments,"

"Run... run!"
Shooting from the bed the wastelander gasped panting in bed as the memory of his father's death ran though his mind, it was a painful memory that clawed at his brain. Holding his head in his hands he sat there, though he always wanted to isekaied this wasn't what he had in mind but there wasn't anything going to change that. Getting up off the bed he walked down to the bathroom and turned on the sink and splashed water on his face as he got up looking at himself in the mirror seeing the white haired human with bionic eyes looking back at him. Turning over to his hands he looked at them, these memories hurt a lot...
More so than anything he had ever felt in his entire past-life.
Getting up the lone courier turned to his pip-boy and with a touch of a button a flash of green light engulfed him as his armor covered him as he wore the elite riot gear but without the helmet. He turned and left the room as he roamed the sun-lit house early this morning as his pip-boy told him it was 6:20 and from the lack of sound spitfire was most likely still asleep. Walking into the kitchen he saw the many pots and pans completely untouched and ready to be used as he smiled as a Idea entered his mind.
"She was nice and let me stay the night," The courier then got to work.
Spitfire awoke to the smell of food enter her nose as she rose fr0om her bed to turn to her alarm cloak to see it was 6:30 as she got up from her bed in nothing but her underwear she grabbed a robe and put it on as she exit the room. Walking though her home into the kitchen she saw her house guest working away on the stove as she saw him cooking what seemed to be a thing of french toast from a... MRE? Confused she watched him place it one on two plates and turned around to see spitfire as he gave a weak smile.
"Hey fire did I wake you?" He asked to which she shook her head.
"Not really the food did," She told him as she looked at the food. "You made this for me?"
"Yeah its a thank you for letting me stay the night and everything else," He told her as she smiled.
"Thanks," She then sat down at the bar as he placed the plate before her as she began to dig into the food as she smiled at the warm taste... she had MREs before but this? God he must have added something into the bread and syrup it tasted 100x times better than a normal one. "Mmmmmmmm,"
"Like it learning a thing or two from the wasteland is always good to know," Six said as he took a bit from his own MRE.
"I had to ask you told me you were summoned into our world by starlight and all that which is still kinda hard to believe but I got a feeling you were telling the truth and all still what was it like back in the wasteland? was it really that unforgiving?" Six sighed as he nodded.
"Yes it was just that... a hellish unforgiving land that kept on taking and barely giving anything in return it wsa always everyday it was something trying to eat off your face and what not," He said as spitfire looked at him before speaking.
"I'm sorry to hear that it must have been tough," She said as he nodded.
"Yeah it was..." He said as the two kept eating in silence.
"So what do you want to do today?" Spitfire asked as she began to wash her dish.
"I don't know maybe find somekind of job here. I have to pay you back somehow," the wastelander said as spitfire hummed.
"What about helping around the hospital? You dad was a doctor and so are you right?"
The wander nodded.
"Yeah my dad taught me everything it was to be a doctor and guess you call me one," He said as he shook his head. "But I don't think I can help like that but maybe... I wounder,"
"What is it?"
"Nothing I-"
*Ding-dong*
Spitfire sighed.
"Not again," She said.
"What is it?" The courier asked to which spitfire glared at the door.
"Its my ex... soarin," Spitfire said as the courier turned to the door.
'Oh boy'
