Rainbow Dash POV

Our plan didn't work. My friends and I were running through the halls of Canterlot High. Our hearts were beating madly in our chests. I felt like a failure. We had to act and still got noticed in the end. I don't know how I'll be able to face Soarin after this. I had promised him nothing would go wrong...

"Quick, the library," Sunset whispered.

She pulled us into the room and we hurriedly ducked behind the shelves trying to slow our heavy breathing. I'd never felt so terrified in my life. I couldn't get my mind off Soarin, his friends (Spitfire and Fleetfoot), and our other friends (Flash, Timber and Discord), hoping that Tirek hadn't gone to find them instead. AppleJack was comforting Rarity (i ship them sorry), I held Fluttershy's hand tightly since she was trembling, and I could see my friends was sharing the same sense of dread as we heard the library doors open and stepped inside.

We held our breath as the wicked man inched closer to our hiding spot. Closer. Closer. He was about to find us. Oh, god, please forgive me Soarin-

"Boss!"

Tirek turned around and went back to his assistant (the assistant is not Discord btw) just before he would have found our location. We heard the library doors slam shut and heard his assistant say he would guard the door. Great, we're trapped.

"Guys, look." Pinkie Pie said

We all carefully crawled over to a small shelf and grabbed a book with a box. The Geo necklaces and a book, We found the Geos! And a book about Equestrian magic? Ugh Twilight is probably gonna read the book...

"Looks like we have some reading to do," Fluttershy said with a small smile.

Twilight eagerly took out her journalist notebook and opened the large book to begin taking notes. We pulled out our Geos and figured out the purposes of the Geos. Twilight, Sunset and Fluttershy wrote down everything. Names. Geos details. Equestrian magic stuff. Twilight made sure to take down as much information as he could.

"Just think of how happy the people and Twilight from the other world will be when we show them this," Sunset whispered with a smile.

I nodded, "I'm sure Flash will be thrilled with your note taking skills."

I saw Sunset blush a bit in the dark, "Shut up..."

(I dont really ship them but like- idk what to do)

We hadn't heard the library doors open. We didn't hear Tirek's assistant towards us. We didn't notice him until it was too late. He dragged us out of the library, leaving cuts on our arms, our screams haunting the night.

The next day My friends and I were shoved into Tirek's car as Soarin, his friends and our other friends rushed to stop him. We tried to use our Geos but it didn't work, leaving us useless. As Soarin, his friends and our other friends disappeared from view with the car driving away, I had tears streaming down my face. We had failed them. Our friends left in the world and we had failed them when they needed us most.

Soarin Skies would never love me now...

I woke up in a cold sweat, touching my arm where Tirek's assistant had once left a nasty cut when I was kidnapped. I felt tears well up in my eyes. My breathing was heavy and my heart thundered in my chest. Tears spilled over as I sat up and whimpered softly.

"Dash," A voice said beside me.

A light on the nearby table was turned on and I felt a warm hand on my back. I looked up to see the handsome face of Soarin Skies, my husband. We were in bed together. My bad dream had just been my brain replaying horrible memories that had long since passed.

His eyes softened, "Nightmare?"

I let out a sob, "Yes..."

Soarin pulled me into his arms and petted my hair as I cried into his chest.

"Soarin... I need to ask you something."

"Of course, Dashie, anything."

"My... my dream was about the night my friends and I were kidnapped," I looked into his eyes, "I need to know, did you... did you ever forgive me for failing you that night?"

Soarin blinked in surprise, "Do you really think I was mad at you after that?"

"You must have been! I promised you nothing would go wrong..."

He put his hand on my cheek and held up my left hand in his, "Dash, look at this."

I looked down and saw a white gold wedding band on my left ring finger. Carved on the side was S.S.+ R.S. On his hand was a matching ring with the same engraving. We had them specially made for our wedding. I felt myself calm down just looking at it.

"You didn't fail me that night. That was the night your friends found your Geos and learned all that useful stuff about Equestrian magic, and that information was essential to our survival. I couldn't possibly be mad at you for that. You promised me nothing would go wrong, so what? It worked out in the end. And we even ended up together, and our little boy is asleep down the hall, just like I always wanted since the day I met you."

I started to smile, "Ever since you met me?"

He smiled lovingly at me, "Yeah, Dashie, I saw you, and I just thought you were perfect. You're the most wonderful woman in the world. I believe I said, you bring light into my life, and I hope someday you will be my wife."

"Through all our pain and strife, I couldn't be happier to be your wife."

He kissed me, "Feeling better?"

"Yes," I smiled, "Thank you."

He smirked, "Well, you know if you need some extra assurance, if there's anything else I can do to help you relax..."

He gently pressed me down on the bed climbing on top of me. He started kissing my neck affectionately.

I giggled, "Soarin! What if Prism wakes up?"

"The door is closed, it's fine, besides he's a heavy sleeper."

We did have to work tomorrow... but... I did want some help relaxing. After all, I would hate to have another nightmare. He reached over and turned off the light before kissing me passionately.

"I love you, Rainbow Skies."

"I love you too, Soarin, now about helping me relax..."
