A battle of inflated proportions
An inflated situation
Load Full StoryKing Thorax was given a letter, a writ of invitation to dine with the Equestria princesses and discuss an existing threat- one that's plagued them for quite a while. "And you're sure you can handle this alone, Ocellus?"
"Yes, I can, Thorax. You can count on me!" The periwinkle changeling then saluted and hugged Thorax, to which he returned with joy. He then gave her a secondary crown to declare a title of authority. "Then, if you're confident, I'll give you the job of kingdom management in my absence. Within reasonable boundaries, your word is the law. You'll have full jurisdiction of what happens until I return."
"W-Well. When you put it like that, Thorax, it's a pretty big responsibility. But I'll do my best for my home."
"Atta girl, I know you'll make me proud. You always do." Thorax said as that warmed her heart and encouraged her to take on this responsibility. "I'll be heading out now, and I'll expect you to fill me in on anything that's happened while I'm away, alright?"
"Sure thing, Thorax. I'll be sure to do that." Thorax nodded in approval as he left his hive and boarded the train to Canterlot.
"How dare they attempt to imprison me, hunting me down like I'm the prey? What a farce, I am the queen- an apex predator, not the cattle like they're." The queen said to herself as she held onto a dark-green crystal brimming with potent changeling magic and love energy. She was using this crystal that she managed to snag from her old kingdom before she retreated from there. "I'll show those lesser ponies exactly what a changeling queen is capable of."
The queen of the changelings was headed towards Canterlot to dominate and to satiate her vengeance on them. Time was running out, and they needed to form a plan to counteract her.
"Welcome, Thorax. We're so pleased to see you made it here." Celestia greeted him as he was all too happy to return the favor by bowing and greeting.
"Indeed it is, Celestia. I'm very excited to be here. But I'm sure there was a reason as to why, yes? I don't think this was arranged for old time's sake."
"I'm afraid that you're right about that, Thorax. I had a nightmare of a suspicion of a force truly vile; it's your old ruler, Queen Chrysalis. I fear she will be back to rechallenge us soon."
"Not her again. Why can't she give up or, better, learn to love every creature as I have? Is that so difficult for her to do?" Luna, who was there with Cadence, had shot a look over to Thorax that pretty much said, "really?"
"I'm serious. It isn't that difficult to be a good changeling."
"And I agree with you, Thorax. At first, I'll admit that I had my doubts about you. Given my... experiences last time." Cadence lightly shivered as she continued. "But seeing you as you're now has given me hope."
"And I'm thrilled to hear that. If anything, I should be thanking you first, Cadence."
"Hm? Why's that?"
"Well, for starters, even though you had your doubts, you still gave me a chance to prove that I wasn't bad like the rest were at that time. And need I remind you that I was in your castle then? You didn't have to do that for me yet."
"I've sworn an oath as the princess of love always to be accepting and ruling with benevolence; to always see the good in every pony and creature, that would include the changelings as well." The pink alicorn said with a gentle smile but a firm demeanor.
"And I greatly appreciate that from you, really I do. So it helped me greatly to see that there was indeed hope. It was possible." Their soups arrived, and they began to eat and mingle. "Mmm. Is this tomato soup with vegetables?"
"Indeed, Thorax. Tis be our favorite as well. I remember when I used to have toasted cheese sandwiches when I was younger. Fond times those were."
"And I have to agree with Lulu after acquiring a taste for it myself. It became a luxury for me whenever the need arose for it." Celestia was happily sipping from the bowl and then sighed with satisfaction; the savory seasonings and the slightly acidic tomato flavor rested on her taste buds, providing her the delightful sensation of a warm meal. "And as always, our chefs know exactly how we love to have it, too."
"Oh yes. They most certainly do. Um, Thorax, aren't you going to finish your soup?" Cadence asked as she and the other two were already nearly finished with theirs.
"Oh? Um yeah. I'm sorry. I guess I'm just.. distracted by, well, you know."
"We understand. A changeling's diet was built upon love, but since that became no longer necessary for you passed your reformation, we were trying to find a food you'd enjoy very much."
"Thanks, Cadence. If anything, this soup is really nice because, as a changeling, I can sense there was love put into making it." Thorax then tipped the bowl into his mouth and drank down its tomato-enriched contents, licking his lips in contentment to savor the amount of love from his meal. "But what I meant to say was that I was distracted thinking about her. What if we can't stop her this time?"
"I think you're worried over nothing, Thorax. We all beat her together before, and we'll beat her together again. Chrysalis will never win, no matter how hard she tries." Cadence said with a confident and warm smile.
"I sincerely hope that you're right about that, Cadence."
"Ha! Working together, using that disgusting power of friendship. We'll see how powerful they'll be once I've squashed them underneath me like the pathetic bugs they are." Then Chrysalis took a look at the crystal that was in her hooves and grinned. "With this crystal, I've managed to save up a sizable reserve of love energy since long before my hive was destroyed; even if most of it is made from corrupted love energy, any power will do so long as I can destroy them with it."
The queen was currently looking into The main throne room through the stained glass as she used a spell to morph her body into the window like a liquid, passing through it with her crystal as she formed on the inside- waiting for them to return to the throne chambers.
It was at least thirty minutes after they ate their meals that they made their way to the throne chambers to discuss what their plan was going to be; too bad that the one the program was meant for was already in there, waiting for them. "Okay then, everybody. Once we enter the main throne chambers, we can formulate our plan to keep Equestria safe."
"Yeah, agreed. We'll still be able to win this yet, guys." Thorax said as they made their way inside the throne chambers- but much to their immediate surprise, Chrysalis was sitting on Celestia's throne, waiting for them to enter.
"Q-Queen Chrysalis!? What are you doing sitting on my throne?" The queen cackled as she ground her rump into the cushion.
"Oh, don't mind me, I'm just sampling out the new throne, it's a bit too bright for my tastes, but I can fix that in due time."
"Excuse me, your throne? I believe you're delusional if you think that this is your kingdom."
"Not to mention that you're also outnumbered by us- four to one. The smart thing to do would be for thou to surrender." Luna stamped her front left hoof down angrily.
"Hmm... tempting, but no. How about all of your surrender to me? I'll be the good changeling and give you all one chance to give up."
"You're crazy if you think I'll just give in to you, you witch!" Cadence snapped at the queen.
"Chrysalis. It's not too late; we can still try to help you. You don't need to act so selfishly." Thorax said to Chrysalis as she laughed heartily.
"Oh Thorax, you weak, naïve, and pathetic fool. I will especially enjoy grinding your body into a fine paste underneath mine." The queen then showed off her crystal to everyone as she bit into it and absorbed all its magic, drinking it up like a carton of juice, getting every last drop out of it as she could. She then rose from the throne and jumped down to face her foes. "Now remember, everyone, when you're eventually crushed into a pulp and begging for mercy, I gave you all a chance to surrender peacefully."
"Bring it on, You foul heathen!" Luna yelled out as her horn sparked to life, ready to fight Chrysalis.
"With pleasure." The queen said with evil glee as her body grew and expanded out, becoming taller and more... fatter.
"Uh, guys... I think she just used a love crystal. Oh boy, that's not good." Thorax gulped as he braced himself.
"While it's true that if I were normal size, I wouldn't stand a chance against the four of you together; being bigger like this will tip the scales in my favor."
"S-She's getting even bigger, guys. What're we going to do?" Cadence said as she was looking for any potential weak spots on her body. The queen then glared at Cadence.
"How about I crush you first, Cadence?"
"W-Wha- uh oh. M-Maybe not..." She nervously giggled.
"Prepare yourself then, my dear! This one's going to hurt!" The queen then pounced her belly onto Cadence as everyone heard a sickening crunch, accompanied by her muffled screams.
"Nooo! Augh! Hrk-" was all she could say before she was flattened under the queen's belly.
"Cadence!? No! Get off of her, you foul creature." Celestia said as she fired her magic into the queen's belly. It just uselessly bounced off of her great chub.
"Oh, Cadence, sweetie. It might get a bit... sweaty for you under there. I hope you don't mind too much." This caused the love princess to do whatever she could, too weak to kick under the queen's circumference in protest as she was being grounded into the queen's chub. " Oh, Cadence, massage my belly for me, won't you?" she then pointed her gigantic butt at the other three. "And as for you three. I got something special for you."
"Ugh... such a horrible creature. No offense, Thorax." Luna said.
"None was taken, Luna."
"W-Why is her... tail hole twitching... o-oh dear. Everypony! Quick, cover your noses!" Celestia said as the queen let out a sultry grunt as she blasted out a rotten green cloud of toxic gas all over them.
FFRRPPTT!
The fetid stench of spoiled veggies, sulfur, and fermented skunk oil was gracing the noses of Chrysalis's three opponents. "Urk- ugh god. That stinks!" Luna then collapsed, gagging as the need for fresh oxygen began to become essential for her too.
"T-Thorax... ugh.. y-yuck. Grab Luna and get her to safety, so she doesn't suffocate in here."
"Yes, Celestia. Ugh... that's rank. Come on, Luna. Let's move you to where you can breathe a bit easier." Celestia's legs were slightly wobbling from whiffing in the queen's vile backwind. She gritted her teeth as she braced the queen's horrible flatulence.
"Still standing tall and proud, huh? Not too shabby, Celestia." The queen then massaged her buttcheeks using her magic. "But I'd advise against just standing there."
"H-Hold on, Cadence. I'll get you out from under there."
"Brave words come from somepony that can't even hold their stomach from just one fart."
"T-That stench is unholy, and you know it, Chrysalis."
"If I didn't know any better, I'd say you might like this, deep down."
"And w-what would give y-you such a ridiculous idea like that?" Celestia saw stars from the pungent fumes that polluted her breathing air.
"Well, instead of moving, you're standing still. I mean, if you wanted to join your niece underneath my glorious girth, all you had to do was ask."
"Oh my..." Celestia gulped as she stared at Chrysalis's shifting belly as its shadow was now looming over her terrified body. "O-Oh no..."
"Don't worry, my dear, it'll only hurt for a moment, then you'll feel nothing at all." The queen cackled as she felt Celestia's body squashed under her belly, right next to Cadence. Celestia was now screaming next to Cadence. Her voice was muffled, but she had to focus. "Hmm? Oh? You're lifting my belly then... but for how long can you keep it up?"
Celestia was struggling; the queen's cumbersome weight was incredible. This was working on her resolve as the haze of dense gas was still in the room; Celestia wouldn't be able to hold her up much longer, and she knew it. "It's only a matter of time, Celestia. Then you'll join Cadence as a tattoo on my belly."
"L-Like hell I will! I-I will do no such thing for you! G-Get off of me and release Cadence at once!" Celestia's strength slowly faded as she felt Chrysalis's sweaty belly getting closer to her body. "I-I will show you that friendship will win in the end, every time."
"Let's see friendship peel your flattened body off my belly, Celestia." The queen then grunted as she blew out a second fart- this one would snuff out what little strength Celestia had left as the thick changeling blubber was smearing against her tear-stricken face, staining it with its sweat.
Bbbrrppptt!
Celestia whiffed in that last plume of deadly gas as she had a look of stark terror wash over her. "N-No.. please. I-I don't want to be a tattoo. Nooo-" With a soft and meaty crunch, Celestia's body gave in underneath the queen's; she was crushed under the left side of Chrysalis's belly while Cadence was on its right side.
"T-Tia! No... damn that foul b-beast." Luna reached out but was held back by Thorax.
"Luna. I know you're mad at her; I am too. But the direct approach would only end with us joining them."
"Y-You're right. We must retreat and then formulate a plan. I do not wish to end up under there."
"No, neither do I. Let's go, Luna."
"I-I'm sorry, girls, I shall return for thee; I solemnly swear this to you." The Changeling king and the Lunar princess had no choice but to retreat. For now, they needed to find safety and try to analyze a possible weakness in Chrysalis's incredible growth of power. They had to be quick as she slowly got bigger while absorbing Cadence's love energy against her will. Time was of the essence, as the more prominent the queen got, the more difficult it would be to damage her.
