“Starlight I’m so sorry, I don’t know what I was thinking, I was so upset and I was drunk but that’s no excuse, I do love you Starlight, and I still do, I made a horrible mistake, but please forgive me.” Spike cried out.

Starlight looked at Spike in remorse, he was a crying mess he truly felt bad about what he did, but could she trust him again?

“Spike, I need to tell you something, while you did break my heart, I never stopped loving you.” Starlight confessed.

Spike looked up at Starlight hopefully, “Really?” he asked happily.

“Yes, but I’m not sure if I can ever be with you again.” Starlight explained.

Spike was upset but he sort of expected this.

“Why not, we still love each other.” Spike said.

“Yeah but what you did really hurt me Spike, I’m not sure if I can trust you, but I might change my mind.” Starlight explained.

“Starlight please, I regret ever doing what I did with that mare I sincerely do, and I’m so sorry I’ll never do it again I’d rather be blasted by Discord then ever hurt you but I am okay with you and I just being friends but I promise to respect your choice.” Spike promises sincerely.

Starlight looked at Spike with awe, she could tell he meant every word of that sentence.

“Y’know what Spike I think I’m willing to give you another chance.” Starlight said happily giving Spike a kiss.

“Really?” Spike asked surprised.

“Yes really.” Starlight said embracing the small dragon but her face suddenly turned dark.

“But ever do that again and I will do to you what I did to Discord at the school.” Starlight threatened angrily while putting her’s and Spike’s faces close together.

“Got it.” Spike squeaked.

Starlight let him go smiling happily “Great, glad that we talked Spike. I’m gonna go to sleep now, I’ll see you later.” Starlight said.

“You too Starlight, good night.” Spike said.

As the two went their separate ways, Spike wasn’t sure what would happen next but he knew one thing for sure he will always love Starlight and he knew he would never hurt her again.

I made an alternate ending to satisfy my fellow Spike x Starlight shippers, I made a happy and bittersweet ending which will probably satisfy everyone so I hope you enjoyed it.
