//-------------------------------------------------------// Flustered Town's Origin -by MLPkillers- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Coomber As an Assassin! //-------------------------------------------------------// Coomber As an Assassin! In a town, east of Ponyville and Equestria. Gloomy and angry ponies exist. Work for survival where cimes are most committed? The name of this town was Flustered Town. A black Unicorn in a dark blue cape was coming back from his job. He had crimson red eyes, mane, and tail. The mane and tail short and neat. His mood seemed to always be professional. It’s not a hard job. Ponies who are hated normally will die; the same for traitors. He enforces that. He possesses two jobs. One is an assassin and the other being a killer. There's no difference in Coomber’s eyes. Ponies in this town know of him. So being an assassin is slightly difficult in this town, since he's already known and feared by all of Equestria. Getting jobs is no problem with this side of the geosphere. Many ponies in this town greeted him. Town-sized was about 1000 hooves in diameter. Coomber was almost to his house, which was the largest in Flustered town. A pale Unicorn with a scar on his right eye approached the assassin in the blue cape. The assassin could already detect his hoof steps. He turned around to see the paled-colored Unicorn. “You come to hire me?” The assassin/killer asked. His voice sounding somber. The Unicorn deviously smiled. “I’d like to, what’s the price usually?” The Unicorn asked deviously. His smile dropping to a wicked grin. “Depends on the target?” “Well, I had somepony named Quartz in mind. He came in my home invited and stole my precious vintage Celestia Statue. The origin of this statue is from my mother who is now-! The Unicorn grumbled. He was obviously angry; his expression and toned showed it. Always study your clients or any pony you interact with. Coomber already researched the pony name Quartz on his watch. The watch he made was extraordinary; definitely proof of his brilliance. Quartz was a pegasus with an orange striped mane and tail. It looked like he and the pegasus got physical from the look of the mane from the client. From what Coomber could tell it had to be recently since there's dirt on him with a very small ecchymosis. That Doesn’t matter... The job does. He ain't a doctor. “750 bits.” Coomber said, already preparing for the job. The Unicorn was agitated by the price but reluctantly smiled. Coomber rarely fails the job. He grabbed his bag of bits and threw it to Coomber. “Keep the extra 25 bits. Please just end this conflict!" Coomber glared in the direction the Pegasus went, already knowing where the pegasus went off to but then turned back towards his client. One bag is supposed to have 750 bits in and can be thrown with one hoof. That is very doubtful. The client generously said; he wanted his statue back and to teach his used-to-be friend a final lesson: Don’t steal from friends. Coomber’s watch automatically counted all bits in the brown smelly bag. Seems like this unicorn thinks he can cheat him? "I killed for far less you know?" "Huh?" "The amount of bits in this transaction is insufficient. " "Oh! An honest mistake! We-we all make mistakes whe-when we're angry right? Haha." "Uh huh." The now fearful client reached into his bag again, grabbing the next fast dropping in the bag a couple times in panic. With a firm grip, the client grabbed it out, giving to the assassin before things turn ugly. Coomber took both of the bags, putting them in his magic bank. The bank poofed away as Coomber turned back into the direction of the target. “He went this way, correct?” Coomber knew where the trager was, he just wanted the client to prove his integrity. The Unicorn’s eyes bulged. How did he know the pegasus flew off this way? “Yes, How did you know?” The client asked in concer. How did this assassin already knew where his friend ran off to with his statute? Was it because he just came back from his job and saw him fleeing? Is it possible he could keep his eyes on everypony at a time!? That would be almost impossible to keep 100% of your attention on multiple things at a time?! For me to know, now... I’ll be right back... Coomber sinisterly said to his client. This job should be over within 15 minutes; could be quicker if he wishes not to play with his target. He teleported out of sight, leaving the unicorn with his question left unanswered. (”Hopefully no one hires him to hunt me down; he’ll probably do it with ease; if this was the case. I’ll hope it would be fast. In that situation.") The client anxiously thought to himself. Nopony would hire Coomber to kill him if he’s nice to everypony; plus this is for his Celestia Statue which was hoofed over to him by his deceased mother; he’s not a ass colt. He only wants justice, yeah that's it. Calmness overcame the client. He would never be hunted down by no assassin. Coomber appeared near the thief, who indeed had the statue that Unicorn spoke of. He was flying fast, not wanting to be caught: of course, no thief wanted to be caught. Somehow did he know he was coming? The Pegasus started to curve up to a floating city: Cloudsdale. Coomber grabbed his knife. It wasn’t any ordinary knife. The blade was sharp as a mechanical saw. The size of the blade was that of a kitchen knife. The handle of the knife was profound. He cast a spell on it, allowing him to move it. He threw it at the Pegasus, the knife looked like a stake about to be rammed into the chest of a vampire. The Pegasus turned his head again, Spotting the knife, his heart dropped as the knife flew pass his left wing, cutting the wing’s humerus. The pegasus started to groan has he started to float down to the ground. It felt like a hot nail and a saw. Where’s the hammer? He almost dropped the statute he stole. The knife sliced past the right wing in the corresponding area. The pegasus hit the ground from a 10 hooves height. The target's chin hitting the ground next. It was an opened field he fell in. Dust accumulated around him. The adrenaline from the crime must’ve made him unaware of his surroundings. However he was aware now. That bucking unicorn had to throw that knife at him. Where is he? His eyes search for the unicorn, not spotting the Unicorn he thought so angrily about. He turned himself onto his back, facing the other direction. He saw the unicorn standing there. He looked blanked. Coomber slowly made his way to him. He must’ve been the one who controlled the knife. His wings was bleeding considerably. The vein and artery that supported the wing with blood has been cut on both wings. The pegasus felt dizzy, but still aware of what’s transpiring. “What the Tartarus did I do to you!?” His voice expressing anger. He got up, shaking in pain. “You didn’t do anything to me, but that statue you have belongs to somepony else. Why did you steal it?” His tone was narrow. The assassin started to move, increasing his speed faster. The knife still floating in the air.” “Buck you! I’m not obligated to tell you anything!” The stallion respondedangrily. The pegasus in pain put the statue down. This unicorn is going to pay for what he did to his wings. He charged the Unicorn, who just smiled at the incoming prey. The Knife blasted its way to the charging Pegasus. The Pegasus heard a burst in the air and turned his head to the sound, spotting the knife. He hovered down, the knife passing him. He theb back up and charged the Unicorn once again. “After that knife stabs him, I’ll cut his horn off and stab it in the spine with it, then I’ll leave him to...!” The knife turned its handle to Coomber. Magic was on his hoofs. He likes to call it: “Martial Magic.” He hit the knife, causing it to fly with remarkable speed to the pegasus, he stopped in shocked when he saw Coomber hit the knife. Befote he knew it, the knife stabbed deep into his chest cavity. The heart stopped pumping as the two chambers were now one. Blood poured out of the pegasus mouth. “You’re, that, assassin my friend spoke-! Quartz strugglingly said before coughing blood onto the ground. Coomber took his chance as the pegasus was stunned. The assassin/killer teleported in the air, behind the Pegasus; spinning a rear hoof in the air and kicking the now-surprise-pegasus. The pegasus fell on his face, the knife penetrating through the chest. The aorta was on the knife. Coomber grabbed the knife and shook the aorta off. This would be a place to decompose. No civilizations nearby and the field is all dirt and pebbles, there was even a sharp pebble stabbed into the pegasus’s stomach. He flipped the pegasus over, cutting and taking the left eye from the socket. He put it in his left bag he got from his job. The Unicorn activated a clean spell on the knife. The bag he put the organ in was endurance to blood. He left the body to decompose. Maybe if this colt had the right blood type he would use him for an experiment. Coomber slowly walked to the recent town he came from: “Flustered Town.” (”Tsk, That was easy.”) Coomber thought to himself, this wasn't that much fun or satisfying. The Unicorn teleported in the opposite direction he was walking. Coomber grabbed Celestia statue, putting it in his right bag. He teleported in the direction he was going once again, which was: 'Flustered Town.' Author's Note Hopefully I got most of the errors. Hope you enjoy. Remember not to trust ponies with your sentimental stuff! //-------------------------------------------------------// Work's At Night-Tonight! //-------------------------------------------------------// Work's At Night-Tonight! Coomber was back in Flustered Town, making his way to his client. He didn’t have to grab the Celestia Statue; he did it for more satisfaction from the client; also to bring back a traditional artifact to its owner, after all... It will be passed down to the next generation. Not that he could care. He notices his peer’s homes, they worked with him at his job, he doesn’t know them personally, but that they work at the same job as him. Not really something to fret about, maybe for them. Their homes looked decorated for Nightmare Night, it’s not even near “that” night. His eyes caught a sign at Lume’s house. “Fellow works at the Organization, remember to bring your hide to the Organization. Don’t forget!” Coomber totally forgot about the Organization tonight, he could’ve missed it, then...! Coomber caught his recent client, going to his home. He has the statue that was stolen from him. The Unicorn heard hoof steps Approaching him, he turned to the sound, smiling with relief, he must’ve completed the job, so why is he coming back? (”He better not try to hand my payment back! That statue is irreplaceable!”) Coomber stopped 5 hooves away from the client. Having a smirk and satisfaction look. Coomber reached into his bag, grabbing the statue and holding it up to his client. “Is this the statue that was stolen?” Coomber asked, already knowing the answer. The client’s face turned bright and cheerful. “I can’t believe you brought the statue back-! The assassin started walking away in the direction he just came. “Alright, see you...” Coomber started making his way back from which he came. Was he going to steal the statue? Is he mocking him? “Hey, Wait!, I was kidding!” The Unicorn felt panicked, not wanting to have his statue stolen again. He looked and was frantic. Coomber walked back to the Unicorn and hoofed over the statue. “You’re very generous, you know that?” The Unicorn said with delight and relief. His vintage statute was now back in his possession. He expressed a grateful look to Coomber, who felt like he actually did a good deed. He put the statue in his bag. “Oh, I also got you something else to keep an 'eye' on your statue...” Coomber Reached into his left bag grabbing the optic organ. He asked if the client could close his eyes and hold both hoofs out. The client agreed, extending both hoofs out to Coomber. Coomber moved the hoof with the eye in it and put it over the client’s hoofs. He wanted to peak and he should’ve. Coomber dropped the eye in the hoofs of his client. It felt slimy and squishy. He wanted to throw it, resisting the urge to do so. “You can open your eyes now.” Coomber said, a sound of laughter in his voice. When the Unicorn opened his eyes, his eyes widened completely, like when he saw a pony getting stabbed over a sandwich, that was stupid and of no importance. He frantically threw the familiar eye behind him. He felt disgusted. Coomber smiled, almost chuckling. “That’s the sickest joke ever!” Coomber kept his smile. He should’ve kept that eye, so he wouldn’t get his statue stolen again. “You know. You should’ve kept that.” Coomber jokingly stated. Why on earth would he want to keep that!? That’s despicable, at least the statue’s back. “That’s disgusting as Tartarus! Why would I want that! At least I know my payment that I little regret didn’t go to waste!” “To keep an 'eye' on your statue.” Coomber jokingly said. The Unicorn became conscious of his statue, he checked his bag in anger and fear. The statue was gone. He looked back at Coomber, who had a hoof out to him, the statue was in it. He took it when his eyes were closed. He snatched it back from the killer/assassin. “That’s rude!” Coomber said casually, having a snicker snake through. The assassin Detected hoof steps behind him, they were heading in his path, stopping a small distance from the assassin. Coomber turned around to find a pony in a red spiral cape. His eyes were black as avoid would be. His mane was as orange as his tail, both having the same art style: cutting sharp and short. His coat was the color of the void: pitch black. He looked mean and ready for a job. He always looked mean, Coomber thought. “Hey Coomber, did you forget about the Organization of Killers”? The void colt reminded Coomber nicely of his job. Nopony who’s ever late will be let off easy, they might even lose an organ or 5 bones. “Organization of Killers?” Coomber’s client asked, becoming a little concerned and interested. “Don’t put your nose in this. Your fear the Unicorn you’ve hired. I saw the whole thing. Now... How about you leave before I hire the Unicorn you fear to kill you.” Coomber said annoyed that his client was eavesdropping on his and his friend’s conversation. The Unicorn looked as he saw a ghost or death. He turned and started bolting with his statue, which he put in his bag when he started running. While that spooky Unicorn was speaking, he noticed something in his eye, it creeped him out. It sent shivers down his spine. “Blade, how come you didn’t invite him to join the Organization?” Coomber asked confused; Blade normally spreads the word of the organization for ponies who aren’t employed yet. “Because he had no guts and freaked out over an optic organ; Seriously, did you see the way he looked; he seriously looked like he saw a demon or our god Death.” Blade walked past Coomber, who started to follow, ready to ask more questions. “Blade, how long have you been in the Organization?” Coomber casually asked his friend. Blade didn’t pay attention to him by turning, but he did he his question; basically since the beginning. “Too long. You have been here 5 years, right?” Blade asked Coomber, remembering when he first joined as the high rank here from his previous experience. “Yes, that’s correct.” Coomber responded, only Blade would remeber when he joined this facility; just don’t get on his bad side... or Coomber’s. “Then you know that at least. Make sure you turn your attention to where your walking. You're very intelligent but en those type of ponies makes fatal mistakes. ” Coomber turned his attention to the front. Stopping himself from hitting a wagon; he would’ve got stabbed through the eye but a broken piece of the wagon; and becausehe was off gaurd that would hurt. Coomber caught up with Blade, who notices him. “Nice advice. Have you wondered what happens to ponies when they die?” Blade smirked, ready to answer the question; he learned some of the knowledge from their books of mythology but still doesn't completely grasp it. "The soul is checked by the God of Life. After the God of Life evaluates the soul, it’s sent off to the God of Death; where then it will be decided to go to Tartarus or back to the God of Life, where then the soul gets a new body and life. Now these are what the stories tell. “Are you religious or a preacher?” Coomber asked curiously; rembering the time he spent in the demon realm. The Unicorn showed no response, just a tiny bit insulted “No. I'm on a journey to be a surgeon Coomber.” Blade reminded. "You're still on the journey when you are a high rank here? You know what... nevermind..." Blade stopped, alerting Coomber they will be late if they don’t pick up the pace. Coomber notice this and did the same. “You notice we will be late too if we kept walking?” Blade reminded his friend in a small amount of panic in his tone. Blade looked at Coomber, signaling him to come to him. Coomber walked over to him. Stopping when he was on the left side. He turned around, already knowing what he was going to do. “Good, you know what I was going to do. You don’t want to turn your back on the Organization now do we." "Didn't you literally just say I was 'very intelligent? For someone not so bold as before, you are now. And also I don't fear thos damn place." Blade snickered at Coomber’s response, recalling he did. No pony leaves the organization with their lives, so Coomber should learn to fear it. Coomber was casual in his tone, he didn’t have any fear nor pride in the Organization. He did not fear it as much as Blade did. Most of the workers there are prideful idiots. Blade teleported the both of them in front of the Organization. The place looked a little... Odd than normal. Oh yeah, that party or whatever the organization was hosting at this hour. Coomber felt like this was going to be a boring yet intriguing night. //-------------------------------------------------------// Organization's Assembly! //-------------------------------------------------------// Organization's Assembly! “Why does this place look 'nicer' than normal?” Coomber was confused about the organization’s setup. The organization looks like it’s ready for a pep rally. Oh that would be annoying. Being called back to your job at night is an annoying matter. “Beats me. How would I know? I’m as confused as you.” Blade was also confused about the organization’s setup. They walked into the facility. They were accompanied by 10 other employees. None of them liked being here at this hour. They keep them here long enough already, and now they think it's funny to bring them back later? This place definitely wants its employees to suffer more than they have to. The dozens of employees chit-chatted. Coomber ignored them. Blade listened but couldn’t care any less. This was a waste of time. Blade teleported inside the facility, leaving Coomber outside. What a friend to have. The facility doors were open, allowing the employees to go inside. When they arrived inside, they sat down in the metal small chairs. All the chairs were cold because they been set up after the workers were sent home. The organization was excatly warm. Blade wasn’t going to sit in the back with all those low-level workers. He was in the front, sitting in the far right of the room. Coomber spotted where his friend was and accompanied him. There has got to be at least more than 100 workers here already. And to think there’s going to be more workers at this hour is nuts. Their conversations echo loudly off the metal walls. “They are really bothersome aren’t they?” Coomber calmly asked his friend. Blade seemed irritated, they were getting gradually louder. Who the buck was sharping their blade!? Oh, that caused bloody ears to everypony in the organization. The chatter halted. All eyes turning to the worker who was sharping his blade. He had an 'oh Celestia expression'. 10 workers jumped out of their chairs and attacked the colt sharping his blade. Before that colt realized it, he was piled on. He was getting beaten by the workers who's ears was bother by his blade sharping. They cut him with their tools, and 3 of them decide to beat him with a metal chair, a tooth went flying from the victim’s mouth. The tooth hit blade in the leg. Blood squirted out of the leg and streamed down his leg, Coomber quickly healed Blade and removed the tooth with magic. As Coomber removed the tooth, Blade got up from his seat. He was going to put an end to this merciless idiotic nonsense. Before Blade could take 3 more steps, the microphone rung. The sound echoed off the walls. What the announcer saw with the leader was a colt running all over the place, being chased by 10 workers. Who were still very angry. The runner looked like he was bloody and beaten badly. That is not why they were called-! “What the blood and gore! What is going on in here?" The leader asked into the microphone. The fight stopped. The workers instantly ran to their seats. They all whistled guilty and in fear. “Nothing!” The 10 workers said with smiles on their faces. The victim stood behind his chair. “Nothing went on huh? Look what they did to my face! There’s even a tooth on the ground over there!” The victim said with agony. The victim pointed a hoof at Blades’s position. Blade’s irritation increased. “You mean the tooth that stabbed me in the leg?” Blade said sarcastically. The leader looked frightened, they are extremely lucky he didn’t intervene. “You stabbed me in the leg!” One of the perpetrators said with anger. There were bandages on three perpetrators’ bodies. The victim smiled at the perpetrator. “I'd Aimed for the head but since there’s no organ in there, I aimed for the leg, which might’ve stopped you? Hahaha!" “Why you-! The leg doesn’t have organs in it, dumb mother-!" “ENOUGH!” The leader commanded with a loud angry tone. He doesn’t care what happened, as long as it’s over and nopony’s dead. “Yes sir!” The employees didn't want to piss their leader off anymore. The leader grabbed the microphone, preparing mentally for his speech. The announcer pulled the projector down, turning on the projector next. A picture of an insane pony holding a knife up to his face, the blade shining. The questions were: “What are killers? Are they cold-hearted? Are they insane? The audience laughed. They said work, not watch presentations, and answer questions. The leader looked irritated. He kept his cool and turned to the ponies who weren’t laughing. “Coomber, What are killers?” Coomber thought for a couple of seconds, killers in this place or in general? Because in this place, they are ponies with the largest ego in Equestria, who kill for pleasure and entertainment. “Killers are monsters who kill for their pleasure and pride.” “That’s a weird answer if you ask me? You are a killer, so are you a monster then?” He’s not a killer, he’s an assassin, he only kills when hired, not for fun or sick enjoyment. “I’m not the killer I speak of, I’m only doing my job.” “Alright, alright. Blade, are killers monsters?” Blade thought for a moment. He’s the true monster when he angry and in general when he’s working. “Some are monsters, like me and Coomber, but some killers still have a conscience. Some killers don’t torture to the expectations, they kill their victims fast and add lacerations on the body to make it seem like they were tortured, but that’s not the case. Lying is also part of being a monster.” Blade stared at three ponies in the middle row, they notice him and turned fearfully to the leader. Coomber internally chuckled. Blade was always the intimating one. Blade returned his head to the front position, looking down and closing his eyes. That was a perfect speech and it answers a question to come. “Alright, any volunteers for the next question?” “I’ll answer the next question!” A killer with a brown mane and tail stood up. Was his mane and tail dirty because of this place or is it naturally that style? “The killers I work with are 100% insane. Not are killers all insane, I got this answer from the recent killers who answered the following questions. Blade doesn’t seem insane and Coomber seems compassionate to his victims.” “I do not show compassion to the victims. They are wanted dead for a reason.” Coomber replied with a irritated look. He wants to know the reason for the mark (job,) so he’ll see if the mark is honest or not. Blade heard the killer but decided to stay silent, he’s not insane, but if you want to see insanity make him angry enough and trust me you wouldn't want to see the gore behold from the fumes. The leader changed the slide to the organization’s interior rooms and the cafeteria, where they are now. Are they dirtier or tidier than before? Raise your left hoof for cleaner and your right for dirtier. Some ponies would say nicer, but others like the looks before, and therefore they disagreed. The leader saw a mix of hoofs raised, some killers looked at each other. They had what are you saying expressios. “Alright, I’m going to pick a killer who says cleaner and one that says dirtier!” The workers turned their attention back to the front. Some of the employees still were wondering why certain employees voted dirtier. It's obviously it’s cleaner now than before. They must be the insane killers. The leader pointed a hoof at a killer in the front, asking him how it’s cleaner now than back then. “Well for starters: We don’t have dust balls everywhere as before . The air doesn’t smell like deceased hide; this doesn’t mean it smells good currently, May I bring some air refreshers?” The participant sat back down. The leader already thought of other reasons why it’s cleaner than before. Really, after spending a ton of bits on furniture for the units and cafeteria and additional rooms, he didn’t mention that as a pro? “You may, as long as it doesn’t disturb other killers with their work or harm them. Don't need allergies to bloom, so keep it contain.” Other workers didn’t mind the smell; if that worker dares to bring in a disturbing smell? He will pay. “The air isn’t that bad...” “You must be nose blind? Your house probably stinks like this place, that’s why.” Workers started bickering with each other. This is why killers usually work with 3-5 workers. It used to be 5 only but after many gang up incidents that was put to a halt. The leader crossed his hoofs and sighed. They are unbelievable. “Alright! Who thinks it’s dirtier than before?” A pony with a brown mane and tail got up in front of the audience. Didn’t he already answer the question of why it’s cleaner? “I would like to answer!” His voice echoed off the walls. He sounded hyper. The leader got more annoyed by his recent answer. “It’s not dirtier and anypony who says it needs new eyes in their head!” Snickers came from the brown mane and tail pony. That wasn’t even near an answer or joke. “Blade, are you snoozing?” Coomber asked with concern. Blade shook his head slowly. “Those killers are childish, sometimes I wonder why we call these announcements? A chair was thrown, hitting the wall and making a ringing sound throughout the cafeteria. The killers stopped bickering, turning to the killer who threw the chair at the wall. A picture of a punctured heart slowly losing its hold on its plastic curved holder, it fell to the ground, the glass shattered everywhere.-! "Who the Buck Threw that!?” The workers started attacking the pony who threw the chair at the wall. Why did he even throw it? To stop the bickering? All that did was cause a skirmish. Blade opened his eyes, watching the whole ordeal occur in front of him. Coomber shook his head. “I can’t even believe this.” Blade kept his eyes closed in response. "I would not worry about it Blade. These killers are not worth our time. Coomber eyes saw a particular 3 killers come over to this section of chairs. A colt wielded a chair in his hoof. “I’m making you colts join the fun you’re missing.” The colt sounded hyper. How could anypony be hyper in a place like this? The leader notices the provoking colt by Coomber and Blade. He told the whole organization to settle down or they will be punished. Some settled down with no problem, others were still up, bickering. They must be deaf? The colt provoking Coomber and Blade continued to do so. “Join the fun!” The killer attacked Coomber and Blade with the chair, Coomber got up and ducked, the chair caused a gust of wind to pass Blade. Blade was extremely annoyed by the colt’s actions, it seems half of the organization didn’t listen to the leader. Blade got up after Coomber dodges another attack. Coomber hit the colt to the ground, provoking him. He decided to charge Coomber, but Blade teleported Coomber to the seats, he almost fell on the chairs. Coomber was in shock of Blade's actions. Blade stopped the metal chair with a hoof, activating an exothermic spell, his hoof started to melt the chair, scaring the colt, who ran to his seat. Blade deactivated the spell and teleported to the stage, it’s time to take control of these workers who can’t handle the slides with maturity. “Hey Blade, what are you doing?” Blade’s left eye turned to the leader, scaring him, then to the audience. He was done with the ignorance these workers showed. The leader wasn’t happy he burned a chair but glad Blade didn’t kill that idiot. Blade took the microphone and spoke to the workers. “If you all can’t take answer these slides and be mature, then I guess you would like to work!?” This is the last warning from the leader If you all are not seated in the chairs and stop bickering, then prepared for your death’s.” Blade handed the microphone to the leader, who took it and completely agreed with Blade’s speech. Blade teleported back to his seat, sitting down with closed eyes. He didn’t like the disobedience the workers showed. The leader spoke into the microphone. He confirmed Blade’s speech, most of the killers sat down, besides two killers. The countdown was at 3-2-1!... The two remaining killers sat down at the last second, anxious they didn’t make it in time. “Alright. To be honest, if we would’ve continued this, you workers might be home right now? Doing whatever it is for relaxation and enjoyment.” "Hey Blade..." "Yes Coomber..." Both colts whispered. Coomber with a little annoyance in his tone. "Never do that crap again. " Blade looked at Coomber, then smiled. "Sorry. I was done with the stupidity that colt showed. He wasn't worth your time so I handle it." Coomber stared at Blade; his face a stern expression. It was clear as day to Blade Coomber didn’t like being teleported like that, which pony would? Blade understands and returned his attention with Coomber's back towards the leader. The workers felt their freedom being prolonged. Some workers were innocent and felt that it wasn’t fair they were being punished because of the guilty workers. One innocent worker raised their hoof. The leader saw it, already assuming it’s going to be another joke, it better not be or else... “Yes...?” “You saw all the guilty workers, right. What’s their penalty for stalling the presentation?” The killer asked with respect. The other workers just stared at her with murderous intent. She’s trying to punish them? She’ll pay with blood and dismemberment! “I did, and don’t worry... They will have small punishments. Don’t worry, you wasn’t one of them. So you can get off free.” “Thanks, sir!” The mare said formally. The leader changed the slide. They wasted all the time on the previous slide. So now it's on to the next one. It was a video with a thumbnail showing a picture of a mare being stab to death. The video was a short clip. The question: “Why do we kill?” Many ponies started thinking to themselves. They kill for pleasure, fun, sell the organs for bits and ect. “Can I answer that question!?” The killer was joyful, he was a scientist who tested on the victims. His tests shows how the organs respond to certain chemicals. Don’t mix Lye and sulfuric acid, they burn skin, flesh, and the digestive tract. These chemicals basically kill you. The leader was waiting patiently for the answer, does he have to start punishing fake answers? “We kill for tests!” The killers stared at the scientist with confusion. Not all killers test you know? Some take pleasure and savor their victim’s final moments. Some use their inners for meals: Yuck! The leader looked like he saw or in this case, heard something stupid. Science is not stupid, but that’s the incorrect answer. “We don’t kill for science, You’re incorrect. Does anypony else have a different opinion that’s not their passion!?” A pony raised a hoof with a knife in it. He had a scar on his eye, the eye was shut. Looked like he was attacked by a killer indefinitely or domestic abuse. By a mare haha! “Alright, Stick, what’s your answer?” “Stabby, stabby.” The killer stabbed his knife in the air for all to see. The leader decided to ignore his answer, going on to the next risen hoof. “Nike, please be serious...” The leader said nervously. Expecting a child-like answer. “Do you want a spiritual answer?” Nike asked, not wanting to infuriate the leader. “If you like?” The leader wasn’t expecting any killer to answer this question correctly. This killer might have the answer? “Do we do it to please an entity?” “What entity?” The other killers were shocked. They do it for fun and bits. They didn’t expect the true reason to be different. “I... Think, the Killer God...?” The killers started to snicker. Yeah, there’s a killer god, that killer must be worked too much? There’s no Killer God. The leader didn’t like how the killers were reacting, but ignore them as the killer who answers the question is wrong. “You’re in the right mindset, however, you’re incorrect.” The killer felt shameful for being wrong, but hey, everypony must get a problem wrong to learn. The killer brushed it off. The killers snicker more, this time looking at the killer who answers wrong. (”The best thing to do is to ignore them, They are morons...”) “I’m going to answer this! We make a profit off the organs we harvest but why torture them, who would that please? I say when everypony die, They suffer even if it’s a natural death and not a given one.” The leader smiled at Coomber, he was going to answer it correctly, hopefully. If he jokes like the rest he's getting a slap upside the head. The organization night ends soon; well for the workers who behaved that is. “Where are you getting at?” Coomber smirked with confidence, Blade eyes watched him, he was happy his friend was going to answer the question correctly. If not he'll answer the question. “We do it for the deity of death, don’t we?” The leader clap, he was impressed Coomber got the answer correct; he wasn’t expecting any killer to answer this one correctly; if it wasn’t for that killer who brought up that it’s a spiritual question, he wouldn’t even attempt the question; Mythology can affect gullible ponies in manipulative ways. Coomber could tell from the expression on the leader’s face he was being looked at like he was stupid. Pfft. This question isn't hard in general. “Yes, Coomber, remind me to increase your rank near Blade’s." The leader shot Coomber a smile. Coomber kept his normal expression as the leader returned back to the microphone. “Good job on the answer, Coomber!” Blade said joyfully, staring down. Coomber thanked Blade for the praise. The leader changes the slide. Final slide it said. It showed a pony being stab heaps of times, organs being thrown into the bucket, limvs being teared from limb from brute force. The question was... It wasn’t a question, it was a command and a threat. “Work faster or pay!” The workers felt agitated, they already worked as fast as they can, this organization is a merciless torture facility. The workers boo the slide, being silent by the leader. “I see you all hate this slide and I expect you to. I saw on the cameras a lot of you goofing off instead of working, those of you know who you are and will be getting a long task list tomorrow!” Blade and Coomber knew they weren’t getting a new task list, they are done with their task too fast, and sometimes, they would clean the rooms downstairs. The leader switches the slide, the next one said: end you’re free, if you’re mature and behave yourselves. It was like the leader already knew they were going to be interruptive. The leader jumped down from the stand, while his assistant pulled the slide up. He was pointing the columns of ponies who behave who may go while keeping the ones who misbehaved. He got to the back row and pointed to none since they all acted like fillies and barbarians during the presentation. He walked over to the chairs on the right of the audience. “You and Blade may go.” Coomber checked his device, finding out he had another job, he got up and turned the device off, before turning to his friend Blade. “Just outta curiosity... Are you leaving or staying?” Before Blade had anything to say, the workers that listened the whole time ran out of the cafeteria. Te doors banged against the wall. Two ponies were trampled and was yelling. Luckily for them they still made it out by crawling. Blade turned his attention back to Coomber, giving him his answer. “I’m going to stay here and make sure these killers work.” The leader was grateful Blade decided to stay and help. The rest of the workers felt agitated. What is Blade supposed to do if we don’t? One killer got up with a brushy black mane and tail, blue eyes, and a green coat. He walked towards Blade with agitation. “I heard you would stay to make sure we do our extra work? Since you decided to stay, I’ll make you part of my work!” The leader told the agitated worker to sit down, he didn’t listen. What he did instead was grab his weapon, pointing it at Blade. “Since your mouth is confident, I’ll rip it off and stitch it onto mine!” “You’re worthless.” Before the killer responded, Blade teleported in front of him and punch him in the nose, he backed away holding his now bleeding nose, Blade spin kicked him in the jaw, hitting his head to the ground, Blade teleported to a high altitude of the ceiling and fell, landing on the killer’s back with two hoofs. The killer split up blood onto the cafeteria’s floor. Blade put a hoof on his head, applying pressure to the skull. “Should I rip your mouth off and throw it in the garbage decomposer?” The killer didn’t answer Blade; he was lifted by his mane to Blade’s face. “Answer m-!” The leader hoof palmed. The other workers gasped. Coomber didn’t respond but inference what’s going to happen next. Blade looked infuriated, how dare this killer spit on him? The killer tried to apologize, but it’s too late. Blade started punching him in the face from all directions with one hoof. Finally stopping, lifting him up and grabbing him by his right forehoof. Blade teleported to the metal wall and slammed the killer’s whole body against it, after slamming him to the ground. He was unconscious and needed medical attention. His right forehoof was broken, The employees congratulate and applauded. They really do like gore for such filly-like workers. “Don’t let the leader call me back here if any of you are slacking off, got it!” Blade said with the confidence they’ll listen now. The workers nodded their heads. Blade walked back to Coomber’s and the leader’s position. “That was really generous of you Blade.” Blade couldn’t care or take time in compliments. He thanked the leader, ready to head out. “So, you changed your mind Blade?” Coomber asked casually. Blade responded with a causal yes. The leader gave Blade a communication device just in case he needs him back here to deal with the workers, he didn’t think that he’ll need to come back here after that example. “I’ll sound the device if I need you, alright?” “Yes sir.” Blade and Coomber teleported of the organization. “I’ll handle my job and if you want to hang out, I will.” Blade smirked. Using body language to say goodbye to his friend. Coomber teleported to the closest town near the job to be completed. Blade started thinking about what to do next. Maybe meditate at his house or in the far distance? Only the location will be different. Author's Note A place no one will work. :pinkiegasp: https://static.fimfiction.net/images/emoticons/pinkiegasp.png //-------------------------------------------------------// The 10th Colt to attempt to Kill Job! //-------------------------------------------------------// The 10th Colt to attempt to Kill Job! Coomber searched for his job; the pony had to be in this town; that’s what location his specialized watch gave and it’s never wrong; he is the one to craft and improve it over the years. Coomber had nostalgia; this town reminds him much of his town: Flustered Town; well at least the view did. The ponies didn’t; they were kind and nice and he wouldn’t fit in very well with his town. He’s not malicious or wicked, he rather be alone, especially when working on a job even though they are easy. Coomber saw a colt stepped on a wooden plank, the board smacking up in his face. (”Moron.”) Coomber bluntly thought. The colt rubbed his face in pain, he didn’t scream. His nose was bleeding; the colt ran into the bar to grab a tissue. He knew he doesn’t need medical attention. Luckily that plank didn’t have any pointy components on it or he’ll be in the hospital or if the plank went a little higher, maybe even dead? Coomber turned his attention back to his job. He didn’t care what happened to that colt, in fact, he’s stupid for not paying attention to his surroundings; he’s definitely not a martial artist. Coomber spotted his victim, the colt had a blue mane and blue tail; the eyes were lift blue and his coat green with a rough texture, the same as the mane and the tail. He seriously looks like a Heart Warming Eve propaganda pony; that holiday sucks. Coomber kept a hoof on his knife, he was ready to end his job; he usually talks to them to find out why somepony would want them dead. It always good to know if it’s pettie. He will not show any compassion to his job. That'll shows weakness and will cause the job to be unsuccessful and you’ll be arrested for attempted murder; not like he’s worried about the authorities; he rather not have to injure or possibly kill any more ponies; he does that too much and often. The job already made his way inside his house; he must’ve carried groceries inside because he had 4 bags with him when he went inside. Coomber thought up a good strategy for this one; block out the volume from inside the house, appear in the house and assassinate him. Pretty basic. Coomber casted an invisible barrier around the house with magic. No more sound escape the interior of the house. Coomber teleported inside, in the living room of the job, who turned around in shocked; theirs no way that’s the assassin Coomber who failed not a single job. If it is, then that streak is over and he’ll put him in the hospital or hand him over to the authorities? “By the view you’re giving me, I assuming you know who exactly I am? Are you ready?’ Coomber said with high confidence; he might not look like he would give trouble but this assassin ain’t fooled, he can see right through him. (”He’s very cocky for a assassin; okay, most assassins possessed that trait, but he already speakers if I was dead”) The colt searched for any items that’ll come in assist; he spotted a few and has planned how to use them. He knows he can’t flee, one because he will follow him and be inclined to end him quicker and two because he most likely put a spell up around the house that keeps him and nosie out of this town’s ponies’ ears. “Why would somepony want you-!?” The green coated Unicorn kicked over the table, pushing it towards the assassin, who decides to jump over it and catch himself on one hoof! While he performed those actions, the target have gotten the items he planned with; he even got a knife from the kitchen. He’ll have to kill him otherwise he wouldn’t stop hunting him down and attempting to kill him. Coomber grabbed his knife. He could kill him right know, but wants to know this colts plan; why would he grab those items in a periodic order? The colt threw 3 books at Coomber; the assassin ran out of the way with fast speed; the colt teleported with magic behind Coomber and punched him in the head; coomber grabbed his hoof and threw him to the ground, swinging his knife down to the job’s chest; the colt teleported away and landed o the table, crushing the weak wood material; he grabbed two legs of the table and threw one at Coomber; he ducked and charged the colt, who jumped up and tried to stab Coomber in the back with the table legs; the table legs was sharp like a stake. As the legs stuck into the floor, breaking two floor boards up. Coomber noticed the floor boards and thought of a fun perfect strategy to kill him. The colt used the legs to swing himself to the assassin; faking to attack him with a two hoof kicked. That assassin to turned his head to avoided it; the colt smirked, he had fell into the trap, which might be his end? The target teleported onto the wall and quickly jumped off, tackling the unprepared assassin; he quickly grabbed the knife he took from the kitchen and stabbed it at the assassin’s chest; Coomber stopped the knife with a hoof and kicked him in the face; he let go of the hoof which earned him a laceration in the chest. Only his fur was scathed. Coomber was annoyed now. The job will be finished no matter the price. Coomber grabbed his knife; the colt being alerted of this and tried to kill Coomber with a mighty roar, attempting to jab his knife from the kitchen into the intruder assassin, but was slapped in the left side of the face. He was then slapped in the right side of his face, following next was a kicked to the face. The colt flew and hit the wall. The target was bleeding from his mouth, he brushed off the pain; he knows there’s trouble, geez, don’t have to remind him pain. He lifted the two staked legs and blasted them at Coomber; the assassin stomped on the floor boards and knocked the stake out of trajectory and made it penetrate into the celine. Coomber quickly teleported to the unexpected colt and stabbed him in the left side of the neck. The knife lacerated his left major artery to the brain. Blood trailed down his neck and onto the floor as the wound gushed. Some of the dying colt's blood got on Coomber. The assassin didn’t care because he works around this oxygen rich blood all he time. Coomber ripped his knife out of his target's throat. The dying colt fell to his right. Coomber liked the fact he tried to dodge his fatal attack and he predicted it. “You’ll... Pay... For your crimes... In Tart-! Tartarus!” The dying colt proclaimed, spitting blood up in his sentence. He really hated that he lost this battle and that cocky assassin got his way with him; he wished for this assassin to pay, pay in blood someday. As he died leaned up against the now misplaced couch, more than half of his blood volume had leaked from his body. As his brain died from lack of oxygen... the colt’s eyes slowly blurred out of vision. The last thing he saw was that assassin's grimace face. (”He was a fun job. I had to hold back a significant amount otherwise. Now let’s see if there’s another one?”) Coomber was satisfied completing this job. he wasn’t worried he would die this target. Do you know how many jobs babel that much nonsense? He casted a spell to clean all evidence for he crime; it also cleaned himself: It was the clean spell. After he clicked on his watch, allowing probes to crawl out and around the house cleaning and destroying anytype of evidence left. After they finished and scanned the dead colt, pixelizing him into the watch, Coomber recalled them all with a single tap of his hoof. Coomber quickly teleported himself behind the dumpster and tapped his watch. The corpse repixel itself in the dumpster disposal container. That colt is the 10th one to tried to kill him with a knife in the past 2 days. Coomber turned on his watch again and viewed the screen, no new jobs was accounted for. (”Guess I’ll see what Blade is up to?”) Coomber guessed what his friend was doing, he was most likely meditating up that slope the left to the organization. Guess that where he starts the search. Coomber doesn’t think so. Coomber picture the organization, going up the slope on the left of the organization. Coomber used magic to teleport to his location. He had a feeling that was where Blade was. //-------------------------------------------------------// Brutal Friendship! //-------------------------------------------------------// Brutal Friendship! Coomber appeared at the bottom of the cliff. He searched around using his eyes, attempting to find Blade. All he saw was a crack cliff. The top was made of stone, the middle was grass. The air up here was chilling, feeling a little more dense than usual. Blade was at the top of the mountain, meditating and floating. His magic was keeping him afloat. Could he have sense Coomber? He believed he did. He has to have a lot of concentration to keep up with the act. Blade finally opened one eye, side eyeing Coomber. Blade opened the other eye, before finally floating down onto the edge of the mountain. Blade had a smirk on his face; it seems Coomber finished his other job quicker than anticipated? Coomber walked up the mountain, bypassing the last patch of grass before walking on to the tip of the cliff that was made of rocks, he stopped a few hoof steps away, deciding to start the conversation first. “Quicker than expected am I right?” Coomber asked a question they both already knew then answer to, his tone was a little cocky. Blade agreed with him being a little quicker than usual. He was sure he would be here a little while later, looks like he finally accelerated his speed. “Yes. I don’t know why you're quick, however, what else is there for you to do?” Blade asked, not really knowing what else Coomber has to do. Coomber works for the organization and is an assassin, so what else does he do? Does he have another job? Coomber hobbies are either improve his power in general, make spells or make gadgets. Coomber was smart like that. “To be honest, nothing really. That’s why I came to chat. Have you kept up with your training Blade?” Coomber asked. Blade should have thought that’s the reason Coomber came here and ruined his meditation which was part of his training. What would his chatter be about? Perhaps the organization? Perhaps his recent job? From the start about lecturing him. “I should have figured that’s why you came here? Unless you have been hired to kill me?” Blade jokingly asked. Blade joyfully gave Coomber a glare. Coomber doesn’t have him on his jobs, he wouldn’t kill him; he’s a friend. Coomber walked over and sat down on a rock, its surface was smooth, so it wasn’t going to stab him; it seems like somepony, smoothed it out, like they knew a pony would sit on it; Coomber knew Blade did it, must have done it with his dagger? “Haha, I don’t have you in the job category, so I can’t be hired to kill you, friend. Still trying to become a surgeon?” The red mane colt said with a serious tone. Blade was joking, he laughed with Coomber. Blade walked towards Coomber, picking up a rock, smoothing it out with his dagger after he used magic to make it bigger. After the spell was finished, he put it beside Coomber, precisely to his left; he walked over and sat down on it; viewing the cloudy sky. Seems like it might rain? Also smells like it too. Coomber didn’t know Blade was a arts and crafts pony. Can he create something bigger like a home or a statue that fast as well? Coomber never understood why Blade came up here; the air is a little denser, which would make meditation harder. The cliff is rocky and looks a little unsecured, and how high the cliff was. It doesn’t matter to him; he doesn’t hang in these types of hazardous environments. “Tsk, thanks.” Blade said in a friendly manner. Coomber does have one thing on his mind, that’s to leave the organization and start a new job that won’t require being around insane killers who think they are better at what they do than anyone else; not to mention the place smells and there’s constant bullying going on with other killers; sometimes their friends try to get him involved, of course. Coomber and Blade ignores them, they are petty and none off his business. He wondered if Blade has been thinking of leaving the organization also, his response would shock Coomber. “I been thinking, I’m going to leave the organization, that place is for no skilled killers, it seriously does stink.” Coomber explained the reasons, having a little anger in his tone. Blade was shocked to hear his friend talk about leaving the organization, but he understood Coomber, the organization does need repairs and it will receive them someday. The problem with leaving is you will certainly die as a consequence of it. “Coomber, my friend, please don’t throw your life away-!” Coomber cut him off; “throw his life away, seriously?" Him being at that place is already doing that isn’t it not? “My friend, like any of the other killers could best me. They are all too stupid and inexperienced with weapons. I am too powerful for them as well. I know you agree?” Blade did agree with his friend, however, the only problem is the leader absolutely knows that, so what do you propose he’ll do when he hears Coomber quit? Be outrageous maybe? Be disappointed? Or maybe send someone to kill him? A killer he knows that can complete the job and come back alive unscathed. That would be none Blade thought. “I do agree with you, those killers are the definition of idiocy and overconfidence.” Coomber was happy Blade agreed with him, he had more confidence he could leave the organization; this confidence would only be short-lived. “I wasn’t finished with my explanation friend. He knows you can probably best 3-6 killers with ease, but what he does know is one killer that can best you.” Blade explained in a compassionate tone. Coomber knew he was talking about him, his hopes of leaving were shattered, if he left, that won’t be the only then shattered, his and Blade’s friendship would tarnish; they would have to fight then and only one was going to live. Who will that be? “You right, you would actually hunt me down and attempt to kill me?” Coomber asked. He had confidence his friend wouldn’t do that, but if the time comes that he may the best colt win. Blade didn’t want to hurt or kill his friend, but if he has to, he has to in his mind. He knows attempting quitting would probably be a death wish. Cause not even he can do anything against Coomber. He hoped Coomber would reconsider his action of quitting but knowing him he won’t. “I won’t like doing it, Coomber, you should know that if I’m ordered to... I’m sorry Coomber." Blade explained again with a compassionate tone. He wouldn’t want to hurt and definitely kill his best friend, but like he already said, he follows orders like Coomber. “You would take orders from a scared leader? Also you know that you can't kill me friend?" Coomber asked with nostalgia; he remembered what happened at the announcement, the leader looked a little frightened after that killer spit in Blade's face. He started to think Blade’s the actual leader from how much he enforces around the organization. Now that is what a true leader does. Coomber started to believe Blade was the actual leader. “Blade, are you the true leader?” Blade almost laughed, but held it in. Why in Celestia would make him think that; yeah, he might be rank 1, but he’s not a dictator; that’s boring. “Haha! Coomber, my friend, what made you think that? I was part surgeon how can I be the leader? Blade asked, almost laughing loudly. “Because the leader seemed scared of what you might’ve done to that killer; would the leader be scared of blood? Or a subordinate? Then again... you probably could kill the leader easily." Blade finally stopped feeling laughter; the leader isn’t scared of blood, he ships it out. Coomber wouldn’t know that because they are upstairs and the leader is downstairs. “The leader fears blood how Coomber?” Blade asked confused. Coomber didn’t respond. “Because he knew there would be guts everywhere with blood.” Blade smirked. He has the composure to control himself, does he think he is like those idiot killers? “So, you think I was going to bloody massacre him?” Blade asked, thinking Coomber and the leader thought he couldn’t control himself. Do they not know how old he is? Well Coomber does but the leader? He's an adult colt. “I mean I hoof palmed, and the leader shook his head, so in our thoughts. It was a huge possibility. I would’ve to beat him close to death, and if the injuries lead to his death, oh well. Guess you didn't adapt my harsh ways. Blade continued to stare at the sky, sensing rain. He could tell it was definitely going to rain. Blade had to cut this conversation short. “What did you think I did? I also warn you it’s going to rain, so if you don’t want to get a cold, then go home, we will talk tomorrow, make sure to show for the organization, alright?” Blade warned his friend it was going to start pouring and not to leave the organization. Coomber didn’t want to go to the organization, he has to plan a date to quit, maybe gather more information about the killers there? He has a lot and DNAs of sorts already but always analyze. He’ll show Blade it’s possible to quit with your life, maybe he’ll quit with him? Then what would the leader do, send the whole organization after them? That would be humorous to see. Maybe some vultures would enjoy the blood bath that is created? “You speak so boldly to me as if you forgot who I am Blade. Fine, I will friend. You should go inside too, I, and I’m sure the leader wouldn’t want you to have your throat membranes become inflame now right?” Coomber told his friend, wanting him to be dry and not catch a cold from what looks like a downpour. The leader wouldn’t be happy about Blade’s productivity if he caught a cold. Well... He should, he gets 5 times the amount done over an great worker. So if he has problems, then Blade should quit with him or intimidate him. “Alright then.” Blade responded, ending the conversation. The orange colt got up from his spot, adjusting his bag, he looked up, catching a raindrop with his right hoof. He turned to Coomber, who was walking over to Blade, prepared to give him a hoof bump, which they did; their friendship could be described as brutal; they are honest with each other, and they are brutal at their jobs. Coomber smiled at his friend, who did the same back. Coomber disappeared out of Blade’s sight using magic. He hoped he would show up for the organization tomorrow, but there’s a feeling he won’t. Blade looked in the direction of his home, preparing to teleport; he took one last look at the cliff. He remembered his meditation. Blade turned to the direction where his house is, deciding to fly there, he activated a levitation spell, flying up and blasting off to his home, the rocks shook on the ground, The rain came down as Blade made his way to his home; Blade activated a spell to keep the raindrops from damping him and his cape with humidity. His cape blew with the wind, making him look like a superhero; which he’s far from. When he gets home, he has work to attend to. It’s not the organization work. It’s a different kind of work.
