From the age of the Crusades to the modern day, the Assassin Brotherhood and the Templar Order have waged a war in the shadows in order to free the will of mankind...or suppress it. Countries have changed, wars have been waged, and countless blood has been spilled for both causes.

However, six names have stood out amongst the ranks of the Assassins throughout history. They are paragons, mentors, even legend. Altair Ibn la'ahad, Ezio Auditore da Firenze, Arno Victor Dorian, Edward Kenway, Connor Kenway, and now, Desmond Miles, have each given their lives for the cause, whether it be in the heat of battle or in the quiet of peace.

Now, an Isu Precursor has brought them to the realm of Equestria, her creation that once prospered in the light...but now it has began to fall into darkness. In a world of opulent balls, signs of status, and the lure of wealth and power...the Assassins are sure to be remembered. How they will be remembered, has yet to be seen...

And there are those in Equestria that have taken notice of the shadows...and seek to cast them out into the open. For nothing is true... and everything is permitted.
