A bunch of cars are driving through the massive field on the highway, one driver in the red car was listening to the radio about the news, while the other driver in another car was listening to the music and nodding his head and driving at the same time. Then, a black car passes by him, but this isn't just any car, it's a 1970 Dodge Charger, and who was inside of that awesome car ?
There were two people inside of that car,introducing myself, James Maxwell, a 15 year old teenager just sitting in the passenger seat scrolling through my phone, and the driver and my guardian, Connor O'Brian, was driving the car.
"Hey James, still miss NYC ?" He asks me.
"Yes, but no, that old me was already gone, I just want to restart and forget about my old life, those traces of it has already been shattered, and I just want to get the hell outta there." I replied.
You see, I was used to lived in New York City before my aunt asked both of us to move to another city to restart my life, because my mom died in a bombing when I was 5 years old, then my dad died in a car accident while I was at 7th grade, forcing me to drop out of my old school 3 weeks later after his death, and lived the rest in my quiet, depressed, and self guilt life.
Then, my aunt asked us to whether move to another city or not, I said yes, so she choosed Canterlot City, Oregon. She also registered my application at Canterlot High and bought a house for us to settle in.
"Here we are mate, Canterlot City." He told me as I looked at the sign that it reads the city's name.
"And why's that ?" I asked him.
"To restart your new life, don't you want it ?" He replied.
"Guess so." I replied to him.
"But hey, how bout we drive around the city before we find our new house ?" He asks.
"Why though ? I just wanted to have a rest after that long ass trip." I replied to him.
"We can probably look around the city so we'll go there when we settle in." He said.
"Alright then, suit yourself." I replied.
So, we proceeded to explore the area, finding a mall, which I might asked looks just like any other malls in America.Then, we eventually find a 50s style diner, which honestly is pretty outdated, but still adds a good vibes for me.
Ok, after finding some interesting locations, we finally arrived to my school that I'll be supposed to go there by one month later.
"There it is, Canterlot High." As he stops the car for me to look around.
The school from my perspective was massive as hell, it almost looks like a college campus or something else. There's also a horse statue in front of the school, which I might ask, who the hell would really choose a horse as their identity ? Guess no other options.
Anyways, I saw some students were hanging out around the school entrance, among them were those 7 girls.
There's one with the purple haired girl with glasses, another girl with a hair witb red and yellow stripes that looks like ketchup and mustard for some reason but no offense. There's also a girl with a white pale skin with dark purple hair, another one wearing a stetson and actual cowboy boots, don't know why.
There's also an athletic girl with a rainbow-pattern hair, talking to a girl with a long pink hair with pets running around, probably love animals ? And lastly, one girl with a afro hair that always happy. All of those girls with coloured hair and their personality makes me think twice about going there.
"Hey James ? Don't you wanna go to our new house ?" Connor asks me as he interrupts me.
"Ok, let's go then." As we drives off into the neighborhood for our house.
30 minutes later
"Here we are,now we just gonna have to search our house." He said.
He took out his phone and looked at the photo of the house that my aunt had sent to him.
"Alright James,when you see this house, just let me know alright ?" He asked me.
"Yeah yeah." I replied.
So, as we explored the area, I spotted the house and comparing the photo, it's a match.
"Hey Connor, that's the one." As I pointed at it for him.
"Ok then." As he replied to him and drove to the house.
"Right, here we are, let's explore." As we arrived at the house.
By the time when we got out of the car, I felt very uneasy about the house, sure it's new since it was built in 2018, but it kinda reminded me of something that it was from a game but only remember the name of 'Story Mode'. We walked up to the porch as Connor takes out his keys to the door to open it.
"Alright then, let's explore." He said.
As he opened the door, we looked around the house for a bit, the living room has 3 doors that lead to the hallways, probably not normal at all. The kitchen/dining room is very small that it has barely has any room.
I went up to the second floor that it has 3 bedrooms, perfect for us to slept in.
Then, a moving van just arrived in time for us to move our stuff in. After moving our stuff into our rooms, we finally sat down on the couch in the living room for a very relaxing rest.
"Now that we finally settled in, ready for your new life ?" Connor asked me.
"Yeah, I guess, but I still missed my parents." I said to him.
"I know, James, but all that's in the past." He said.
"Look Connor, my father was the only parent Ieft, he cares about me a lot during my childhood, he not only bought some toys or tech that I loved, I also sat with him while watching TV." I explained.
"But hey, I'm also part of the family right ? Well not technically part of it." He asks.
"You are part of it Connor, I probably didn't care about you as much since I always stick around with my father. But after his death, I realized you're the only person that can take care of me." I said to him.
"Hey hey, I've been taking care of you ever since, sometimes you need my help and I'll be there, right ? That's what a partner would do." Connor said to me.
"I guess you're right then, you're very important to me." I replied.
"Come here." As we started hugging each other.
"Alright how about you go to your room first and I'll call you when dinner's ready ?" He asked.
"Sure." I replied to him as I walked out of the living room.
As I entered my bedroom, I lay on my bed, thinking about whether I made the right decision or not, after all, I've never contacted my friends ever since I dropped out, maybe a restart is probably the only option I have.
However, it always bugs me that some rumors saying that the students at CHS whoever anyone who rejects someone's request for a friend, they would immediately look at you and starts talking about the rejection to the others. If so, I might had to tackle this issue.
I also had to remind you that I remember saw a tweet on Twitter a year ago from a user that I don't remember posted a tweet about him at CHS, the tweet reads :
First day of school, and I already want to run for the hills.
It kinda makes me think twice about it, but didn't care shortly afterwards.
However, since I got a month to get use to this new environment, I'll have all the time I needed to prepare myself for a new school.
But come on, Canterlot High can't be that bad, right ?
I guess I have to wait till I go there.
A month later...
6:00 am
*BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEE-SMASH*
Ugh, looks like the day had finally came...after a month of preparation I guess...
*Knock knock knock*
"James ! Wake up already, it's your first day !"
"Yeah yeah, I'm on it."
Just like any teenager would do in the morning, I would go to my bathroom to brush my teeth and wash my face.
Then, I would pick my own clothing to stand out for the students. But since it's going to be my first day at CHS, I might as well just wear a casual T-shirt and bring a black hoodie just in case if I was being watched by both sides.
"Oh shit, forgot to pack up my backpack."
I packed up my backpack with a bunch of notebooks, school accessories, and my own stuff like my phone, my earphones, and an aviator sunglasses in case if I want to go out to the hot and bright school field to walk around during free time, along with sci-fi dystopia fiction books like 1984 and Fahrenheit 451, in case if I was bored.
After all of that boring process, I exited my room and went down the stairs for that sweet sweet breakfast that Connor made it for me.
"Here it is mate."
"Thanks."
Just like any American breakfast, mine with pancakes, bacons, eggs, along with an orange juice.
Seriously, I've read too much American stuff...
"You sure you've ready for Canterlot High ?" Connor asks.
"Yeah, I've been preparing for this day now, also did my aunt tell Principal Celestia that I don't need a bus to transport me ?" I replied while eating.
"Yes, she did, cause you already have that Charger, you can drive now to go there since I bought that '65 Chrysler Imperial." He said.
"Yeah, you know I've been driving since 12, alright ?" I replied.
"Guess so." He said.
"And I'm freakin' finished." After I ate my breakfast.
"Alright Connor, time for me to go."
"Hey, your keys." He throws the keys as I catches them.
"Thanks, I'll see you later."
"Good luck James !" As I closed the front door.
I walked up to my Charger, got into it and start the engine. And oh boy, the engine was incredibly fucking satisfying, it almost like it's talking to me.
Alright, let's just start this day.
*Proceeds to step the gas pedal hard and droves off*
10 minutes later
"There it is,Canterlot High."
I got out of my car, seeing CHS since last month, I walked to the entrance along with the other students, but as I entered the school, the radio broadcasted,
"Sunset Shimmer, please report to the main entrance."
I guess that's the voice of Principal Celestia, and looks like I have to wait for someone to gave me a tour around the school.
While I was waiting, saw a girl with the red and yellow stripes, realizing it was same girl with the other 6 girls that I saw them earlier.
Wait, that's...Sunset Shimmer ?
She came to me and asked me, "Hi, are you the new student I'm supposed to show around ?"
"Yeah that's me. You're Sunset Shimmer, right ?"
"That's me, yours ?"
"James Maxwell, nice to see you." As both of us shake our hands.
"Canterlot High is a great school, you're really gonna love it." She said.
"I'm looking forward to it mate, now let's just start this tour before my 2nd period starts." I replied.
She show me the entire school which was pretty standard like any other school, science lab, music rooms, school hall/gym, school field, etc. Pretty normal for a school with the size of a college campus. I also had a conversation with her as well during the tour,
"Also, there's one time I saw a black Charger that right passed through the school."
"Yeah...that was actually mine."
"Really ?" She asked.
"Yeah, my guardian let me look around the school and I saw you guys at the statue hanging out."
"Oh okay." She replied.
"I saw you guys are quite very interesting though cause you had that hair, the outfit, etc. Sorry if I'm a creep."
"Well, that's okay." She said.
In the end, it went well as I expected,we went both of our ways.
"See you around, James !"
"You too, Sunset."
Now I had to find an empty locker for me to put my stuff in.
I look around for a bit while walking through the hallways, eventually I found one so I started putting my stuff in it.
Alright, now I put all my stuff in, let's look at the timetable.
I took out of it from my pocket, it shows my 2nd period is Science, oh boy, I sometimes hate it, Biology, fucking boring as hell. Chemistry ? It's a freaking mess. I was okay with Physics.
Seeing Science is the 2nd period, guess no choice then.
*Sigh* "Let's just get this over with."

Oh my fucking god, that was literally one of the most boring experience I ever had,almost everyone had learned except me, I learned nothing at all, I barely understands what the hell does the teacher is trying to explain at all.
In the end, I don't know wtf have I learned. Now let's see what's next... English ? Huh, this is gonna be freaking interesting.
I do know some about this kind of subject but not much as I did, so we'll see about that. But first, let me go back to my locker for my books.
Let's just hope that it wasn't boring as Science.

Huh, not bad. I kinda learned some new stuff though, the language arts did caught my interest for a bit, not only that I found out that the study of my usage and my style was also improving as well, probably some of the stuff I learned at my old school was still here.
So the next period is History. That won't be a problem for me.
History...well I watched a lot of history videos for YT, also watched some alt-history channels as well, not to mention I've used websites in order to watch documentaries to learn about the history of...probably everything.
But now I had to go back to my locker again, just to get those history books.
While I was actually going back to my locker, there's this one girl with purple hair and glasses trying to find something very desperately.
"Oh no ! Where is it ? WHERE is it ?!!
I walked over to her, trying to figure out is either she lost something or forgot something.
"Hey, you okay there ?" I asked.
"No it's okay, it's not okay at all ! I was so rushed that I literally forgot some of my important history books ! Worst of all ? My next period is History ! Ugh ! This is gonna be the worst !"
Wait, hold the fuck up, her next period is the same as mine ? Oh boy, I better help her then.
"Hey, since my next period is History, I'm glad I'm here to help you."
"Really ? Oh thanks, but I got no time for this, I need to find them or else I can't study !" She exclaims.
"Mate, those are just temporary losses, besides you already got most of the books you needed." I replied to her.
"You sure though ?" She asks.
"Yeah, but hey since we had the same next period, maybe we can study with each other, it'll be a good idea though." I replied.
"Oh thanks, and what's you name though ?" She asks.
"Name's James Maxwell, yours ?"
"Twilight Sparkle."
"Alright Sparkle, let's just get to our class so we can get to know each other."

"Nah, I was just trying to help you alright ? No need to thank me." I replied to her.
"Well, I gotta go to meet with my friends right now, see ya !" As she walks away from me.
But damn, she was very kind to me though, at least I also was able get off her mind a bit.
"God damn it, the fuck I was thinking ? Anyways let's just see what's gonna be on 5th period."
So I took out my timetable to see what's next, and unsurprisingly, it was lunch time.
Oh boy, let's hope it's not too crazy.
You see, the cafeteria is a place either for friends or bullies. You can call this place as where you talk, tell them what happened, make jokes, confessions, discussions, etc. It's also a place where popular students or the lonely ones wanted to show off to the others. The popular ones would always show off their handsomeness or beauty to everyone else, making them ooh and ahh, which I find very irritating. But if I saw a loner wanted to show their talents to the others, it won't be a problem for me cause they just wanted to show what they can do.
It's also a place where the bullies, or I described them as 'kings' came here to test our fear. A bully with his or her henchmen would say threats like,"If you guys wanna mess with me,then I'll mess with you too !" to everyone else so they can be on a position as 'The King' of their school when it's not. I hated them than any types of students I've seen.
I pray to god it's peaceful in there.

When I stepped into the cafeteria, most students had already either lining up for food or already on their tables, with students that are hanging out either from clubs or friends.
I went up to the food stall and ask the lunch lady for my order, but at the same time, I can feel a number of people are looking at me right now, but I don't care cause every day, anyone who's looking at you thinks you're very sus.
So after I pick up my tray with my food, I look around with my surroundings to find an empty table in order for me to mind my own business and have a peaceful lunch for myself. However, to my surprise, Sunset was waving at me on the other side of the cafeteria with her friends, wanting to invite me to their table.
"Hey James, come sit with us !" Sunset shouted to me.
At first, I wanted to be alone all by myself, but I can't reject her request cause she's been so nice to me during the tour of CHS. So I reluctantly accepted it and walked towards their table. I also found out that she was sitting with Twilight and the other 5 girls that I haven't know their names but recognized them from the statue a month ago.
I sat down and put my food of tray on the table.
"Ok girls, this is James Maxwell. And James, this is Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, Rarity, Applejack and Twilight." As she introduce me and her friends.
"Thanks Sunset, and it's an honor to meet you guys, but I already know Twilight in History class." I said to them.
"So Sugercube, what brings you here at CHS ?" Applejack asks me.
"Well, I actually moved about a month ago before I came here." I replied.
"Huh, I intrigued." Pinkie said.
"The reason I'm here now cause I want to restart my life, because my old life has consumed me with depression, tragedy, self guilt and other things I don't wanna talk about. Then, I moved to here, I wanted to forget about it, get used to this new environment, talk to others, etc, so I can move on with my life." I replied as I started eating my meal.
"Oh, did something bad happened to you though ?" Fluttershy asks.
"Oh yes, it did, not once, but twice. And I don't want to talk about it." I replied.
However, just as our conversation was about to get personal for me, two doors from the other side opened by this girl with yellow hair, black jacket with two yellow lines on both lines, wearing a shirt with a lightning symbol along with 3 stars.
As she enters the cafeteria, she starts looking at us, but it was looking at Rainbow Dash as she also starts looking at her as well.
Who is she though ? And why she is looking at Dash ? Are they're rivals in this school ?
"Hey Fluttershy, who is she ?" I asked her.
"Oh, that's Lightning Dust, Dash's biggest rival, she always compete with her, to see who's the best athlete in CHS."
Oh boy, drama's coming up.
Hearing her words almost like a Cold War is accuring in this school for a while, no ending in sight I guess.
"Hey Dash, I'm still not done with you after last week !" Dust said to Dash.
"Yeah, I doubt it." She replied to Dust.
"And who's this new friend you have here ?" Dust said to her.
Well, looks like she caught my attention.
"Why ask me ? Trying to find a loser as a punching bag or what ?" I replied to Dust.
"Huh, you think you're so tough, I can endanger your fucking priceless life." Dust said to me.
"Also, you think you're so fucking tough, you declared yourself as The King of this entire school, trying to dominate with your influence for the students here. Overall, you're attitude makes me lean more to Rainbow Dash." I said to her with my god damn tough attitude.
I despise her almost everything, including that shitty attitude.
"Huh, not bad. But since you're more favor of Rainbow Dash, I'll show you who will be the best athlete." Dust replied.
"Dash, meet me at the school field after class ! We'll show this guy who is the best athlete." She said to Dash.
"We'll see about that, cause I am one of the best athletes in this school !" Dash replied.
"Hm, good luck about that, cause I am about to overtake you." She replied as she walked out of the cafeteria.
Finally, peace and quiet for us.
After tensions had finally cool down, I continued to eat my meal, pretending like nothing, but at the same time, confused as well.
How long have they've been rivals in this school ?
"Now all that tensions had finally cool down, can we continue ?"
"Yeah, sorry about that, cause Lightning Bolt always trying to bugged me off." Dash replied.
"So you've guys been here since freshman year ?"
"Ooh ! Over here !" Pinkie said.
"Me and Fluttershy had been known each other before coming here." Dash replied.
"Me and my sister, Apple Bloom, came here cause we don't need to work at the farm all the time, just need free time from working at the farm." AJ commented.
"Same thing from AJ, but I wanted to show off my beauty so they can get my attention." Rarity replied.
"I actually transferred here after the Friendship Games, but don't ask me about what happened on that day." Twilight commented.
"I actually came from another place, ended up here." Sunset commented as well.
Huh, 5 of them came here earlier, while Twilight and Sunset were very late.
"I see, so can I ask you guys about the rumors about this place that has been spreading on social media ?" I asked them while I started drinking.
"Ugh, yeah about that, most students were kinda freaked out after some events happened here, leading them to quit." Sunset commented.
"Don't worry, those rumors had been bombed by those users saying they're crazy or been seeing imaginations." Dash replied as well.
Ok, I don't know whether those rumors are true or not but some of them were very convincing though. There are some photos of it, only to get accused as it was edited or photoshopped.
But since they're telling the truth, I guess I can trust them but not entirely though.
"Ok but are there any school clubs that are interesting to me ?" As I continued to drink.
"Oh yes sugercube, we got plenty of them in this school, athletes, fashionista, dramas, egokids, technics, and rockers." AJ commented.
Okay, I kinda like most of them, but none interested to me.
"Well, thanks for telling me but I gotta go now, cause I can't just sit here talk all day, but it was a pleasure to meet all of you."
I drop off my lunch tray and exited the cafeteria, then I took out of my schedule to see what's next, it was Geography and Economics.
Although Geography made me interested, but I tend to focus on countries' geography like United States and France.
Economics ? Well, I don't know much about economics cause I have zero knowledge about it, except about GDP of course.
Once both of them had been dealt with, I have to meet up with Lighting Dust and Rainbow Dash for the upcoming showdown at the school field.
Let's just get this over with.

Well, I learned not much about Geography, although some parts of it were very interesting, including Mt Everest.
For Economics, we learned about why the Great Depression of 1929 actually happened but we'll talk about that later.
However, just after the bell ranged and me and the others were about to exit the classroom, my economics' teacher, Mt Wyatt, asked me to have a conversation with him.
"Excuse me, James Maxwell I assume ?"
"Um, yes, that's me, what do you want ?"
"Can you stay here first cause we're gonna have a conversation of ourselves."
"Oh, okay."
I took a seat and sat down with him, and I started talking to him.
"James, I've been seeing you very depressed while we were having a lesson, is there something actually bothering you ?"
"Why ask me ? I've been trying to ignore it for a while, and now you're trying to bring this up, so why ask this ?"
"You may find out that I am also a therapist as well, trying to help other students to discover about their own problems."
"Well, I wasn't surprised."
"So, can you tell me what's going on in you mind ?"
"Look, like I said, I don't want to brought that up again, besides I just want to move on, alright ?"
"Right, but why don't you just open up and tell me something ?"
"I said it once, and I'm gonna say it again, I don't want to talk about it, please."
"Well, you can't hide your feelings from everyone else, so why don't you talk to me ?"
"Look, this is the last time, I'm fine. Also, can you let me go now cause I have to go to the school field to meet with someone else."
"Huh, alright then, but are you sure you're fine ?"
"Yes, I'm alright now, so can I go now ?"
"Guess so, you're dismissed."
I exited the classroom and I had to Naruto run across the hallways until I reached to the doors of the school field. However, before I opened them, I took out my aviator sunglasses from my backpack, then I put on my glasses to make an impression.
Alright, let's just get this started.
When I walked out to the field, there's already a dozen people are sitting on the bleachers, along with the girls I met at the cafeteria, waiting for the game to start.
"Well well well, the man himself had came, and what kind of style was that ?" Dust commented.
"You guys haven't started yet ? And don't even ask."
"Yeah, cause we're just waiting for you to come here so you can see who's the best in sports, but I'm going to win this match this time." Dash said.
"No, I'm going to since I've been prepared for this a long time." Dust replied.
"No, I'm about to."
"I'm better than you're fucking rainbow-pattern hair !"
"Ok, can we just freaking calm down for a moment so we can start this game asap ?" I intervened.
"Hm, we'll see about that, Rainbow Crash..." As she and her team gets into position.
Just as Dash and her team were also in her position, I whispered into her ear.
"Do what you have to do mate, maintain your honor from her."
I walked off to the bleachers to sit down and see how it unfolds.
"So how long does this game gonna last ?"
"Well, it depends on how intense it is." AJ replied.
As both teams prepare for the games, Sunset wanted to make sure both were prepared.
"First to 5 points wins ! Ready ?" Sunset shouted.
"Ready Sunset !" Dash replied.
"Oh yes, I'm so ready for this." Dust replied.
Sunset blows her whistle, as the game had started.
At first, I wasn't really excited cause I wasn't interested playing or watching soccer, so I just sat there and did nothing but watch. I moved over to Fluttershy to talk to her.
"Hey Fluttershy, how long she and Dust been rivals ?"
"Oh, since freshman year, I remember that one time when there was a football match, Dust was close to winning, but Rainbow Dash was able to catch the ball, which frustrated her, she tried numerous times to catch the ball or kick the ball, but Dash always prevented that, making them both very fierce rivals." Fluttershy replied.
"Oh, I see."
As minutes passed by, this game was getting even more tense, as both were now tied. But the games still went on.
Oh boy, this is the last round.
As this last round continues, I saw Dash started to dribble the ball off to the side, Dust's teammate was just about to sidestep and block her, but Dash was able to faked him out by darting in the other direction. And guess what ? It fucking worked and she was able to dribble the ball to her goal.
"Don't let her win !" She cries out to the goalkeeper, ready to block her.
However, with a goddamn swift move, Dash kicks the ball towards the goal. The goalkeeper dives to block it... and misses. The ball sails right by him into the net.
With that, she scored 5 points while Dust scored 4, making her the winner, nuff said.
"Dash won !" Pinkie shouted.
"Aw yeah ! Take that Dust !" Dash shouted.
So after the game was over, I walked over to Dash for my compliment.
"Well well, Rainbow Dash, you quite impressed me with your talents."
"No biggie, I've always been the captain of all sports in CHS." Dash replied.
The fuck ? All of them ?
"You're trying to say that you're the captain of all sports in CHS ?"
"Eyup !" Pinkie commented.
"Hearing that is almost like you're carrying all of your teammates."
"Don't worry, most of my teammates had gotten improved, some had learned my skills as well, they'll handle themselves." Dash replied.
But while we're talking, Dust was very furious at her since she lost, again.
"It's not over yet ! You newbie !" Dust shouted.
"Maybe it's a good time we should get out." I asked.
So yeah, we went back into the school, but since I just finished my schedule, we both talked to each other for a bit before we separate from our own ways.
When I exited the school to the statue, I felt kinda relieved for a bit, but internally, I'm still not free from my depressed feelings. I lean against the wall, asking myself,
Was it worth it though ? I don't know whether I should open my feelings or not, but I don't want many people to attract about this, including the girls I met and Mr Wyatt, which he already caught my attention.
Then, my phone ranged and it was Connor calling me.
"Hey James, how are you doing right now at CHS ?"
"Well Connor, I'm a bit better right now, but how long I can last ?"
"Don't worry mate, this is already the best place for you to open up. You said this is your new life now, so we gave it to you."
"Yeah, I guess."
"Oh yeah, have you talk to anyone else yet ?"
"Yeah, I did talk to 7 girls which are very nice to me but suspicious and we even held a game in the school field."
"Why would you say they're suspicious ? They're just innocent girls."
"I don't know, they are hiding something that I don't know."
"You're just worrying too much James, alright ?"
"Yeah, I think you're right."
"Alright, but don't stay there too long though, ok ?"
"Yeah yeah."
"Alright see ya James !" As the call ended.
I put back my phone in my pocket and leaning against the wall, thinking what I'm I gonna do next. However, while I was just chilling, I saw someone walking towards me from the school entrance.
It was another girl but younger than me, her hair looks like it was mixed with pink and purple in an odd colour, wearing a grey jacket and green pants. She approached to me and asked,
"Hey ! Are you James Maxwell ?"
"Yeah, that's me, who told you about my name ?"
"Oh, Rainbow Dash told me about you, duh."
"I see, so what's your name ?"
"Scootaloo, name's Scootaloo."
"Well, nice to meet you Scootaloo. So, what do you want to talk about it ?"
"Well, Dash told me about you once lived in New York, but she said that you wanted to abandon your old life, so why though ?"
"She didn't told you what I've said ?"
"No ?"
"Okay, um, if someone actually happened in their lives, they'll move on like it's just a distant memory, but for me, that's what I did."
"Once after something terrible happened to me, I wanted to move on, but barely. However, another one came to me, and that was the final straw. After that, I couldn't recover from that day for 2 years."
"So that's why you came here ?"
"Yeah, but actually, this was a window of an opportunity to escape my shattered life, it was also the last one."
"So you took it ?"
"Yeah, I was also worrying that if I stay a few more months in NYC I may do something wrong. So I waited for a sign, just something. Turns out, it was Canterlot High. Me, looking for a way to leave...I asked my aunt and my guardian that I wanted to move out, and we finally got away from there. I was just...so relieved to be gone."
"Oh, that's why you moved here."
"Yup Scootaloo, I wanted to come here to erase every trace of my old life where I couldn't remember, an old me I can't even remember any more."
"Well, we're glad to have you, James."
"Thanks Scootaloo, but I kinda wanna go home now to have a rest."
"Alright, but you sure you're okay ?"
"Yeah, I'm alright now."
I walked over to my Charger but just as I was about to enter, Scootaloo was impressed by it, looks like she loves awesome stuff, eh ?
"Whoa, you drove that ?"
"Yeah, my father gave it to me when I was in 7th grade, don't know why but I guess he wanted me to learn to drive."
"Wow, your father must've been nice to give this to you."
"Yup."
I got into the driver's seat and starts the car, but I rolled down the window cause Scootaloo wanted to say something to me.
"Hey James, do you want to hang out with me and my other 2 friends ?"
"I'll see if I had free time, see ya Scootaloo !"
"You too James !"
I rolled up the window and I stepped on the pedal to return home.
10 minutes later
I arrived to my home and I felt better what I once was. I got out of my car and opened the front door. I went into the living room and Connor was in there.
"Hey James ! Glad to see you came back, I guess your better at CHS now right ?"
"Yeah, I'm glad I took that opportunity."
"Glad you did mate, I have to go pick up something for me." He replied as he left the living room.
I sat down on the couch, alone by myself. I took out Fahrenheit 451 to continue to read, but I asked myself how long I can hold on.
But I only been at CHS for one day, so there's nothing to worry about it right ?
Well, who knows ? One day there might be something miracle will leave a mark in my life.
