The song of dancing blades

It was sunny, a rainbow across the sky. The land however, was still quite mucky from last night's storm, Rarity of course refused to leave here home in these conditions... Tank was puttering around with rotor blades and gurgling what seemed to be a show tune...

"TANK!"

Rainbow dash was in the library picking up some Daring Do books to read during the train ride. Tank began bouncing around in excitement, he was excited to go to baltimare, as was RD. Neither of them had been there before and they were very excited...

"There you are tank! are you ready to go?" Tank gurgles, "I'll take that as a yes."

"Come on rainbow dash," Twilight planned a going away party, or at least suggested it, Pinkie pie was planning it.

"Remember, pinkie pie will be upset if we don't show up for the party. We have your books, your raincoat and I heard Applejack made you some snacks to take with you!" "Thanks Twilight, I've been meaning to read these books anyways. Come on lets go!"

As they entered the barn the saw not mane nor tail of Pinkie, or anyone else for that matter...

"Twi?" "Yes Rainbowdash?" "Are you sure this was the time Pinkie mentioned?" "Yes, 10:00 AM just like the invitation said..."

They heard wheels rolling, and a blue tube poked out from behind a hay bale. BOOM!

The room lit up, and everypony jumped out and yelled "SURPRISE!" 'WHOA!" Rainbow dash was obviously startled.

"Rainbow? did we scare you." Pinkie was curious, "NO!" Rainbow began hiccuping, They all laughed. Rainbow laughed along interrupted by hiccups here and there. Pinkiepie's party cannon worked flawlessly.
