Chapters Twilight was currently making a chain with her friends to get the Staff Of Sacanas, it was the only thing that could save Equestria now, the Storm King began to climb to the staff, Twilight realized if she didn’t act, the Storm King would win, she couldn’t let him win, she had to head to the Staff even if it cost her, her life.
With great strength Twilight flew to the staff just as the Storm King jumped to it. The palace wall broke, which caused Twilight, the staff, and the Storm King to get sucked in the tornado. While getting sucked in, Twilight heard Pinkie Pie faintly cry for her. Twilight flew in a desperate attempt to get the staff which was currently being swept by the tornado, getting hit with many castle terrain, Twilight was beginning to lose consciousness but she couldn’t give up she needed to do this.
“For my friends, my family, my home, for Equestria.” Twilight wheezed out.
Twilight finally caught the staff and figured out to control it just enough to end the tornado and barely was able to fly herself back down to the castle where her friends were scared and worried for her, she even saw Tempest with them.
“Twilight are you okay?” Rainbow Dash asked in a worried tone.
“Twilight speak to us.” Applejack commanded in a scared voice.
“Girls, (cough) I don’t think I’m gonna make it, I’m so sorry.” Twilight said in a hoarse voice.
“Twilight please don’t talk like that, please we’re sorry.” Fluttershy begged in tears.
“Darling please don’t leave us.” Rarity cried out.
“It’s all my fault Twilight, I’m so sorry, I never should’ve accused you of not caring about us.” Pinkie Pie cried out.
“It’s not your fault Pinkie Pie, it’s none of your faults, guys I love you all, even Tempest, and Spike you were always like a brother to me, I’m sorry I never let you know this.” Twilight stated apologetically.
“I love you like a sibling too Twilight, I always have. Please don’t leave me.” Spike begged tearfully.
“I’m sorry Spike, I’m not gonna make it, and girls before I go, please do one thing for me, give Tempest a chance at redemption she’s changed and I know it.” Twilight requested.
“Okay Twilight if that’s what you want, we’ll do it.” Spike said.
“Thank you guys, I love you all.” Twilight said before taking her last breath, the girls and Spike began tearing up one of their best friends is gone and they were all miserable. Tempest noticed the staff next to Twilight and picked it up with her mouth she walked to the center of the castle and planted the staff in the hole, which fixed everything, including the castle, everyone was freed from their cages, and the Royal Sisters and Cadence were freed from their stone prison, the Mane 5 and Spike were shocked that Tempest did such a noble act and so were the Princesses but their shock was overpowered by sadness as they saw Twilight’s body on the floor. Tempest bowed with remorse.
“I am sorry princesses, and I’m sorry Twilight.” Tempest spoke with a tear going down her eye.
The Princesses looked at Tempest with blank stares and all three were torn on what they should do with her, but then the door to the throne room opened revealing a worried Starlight Glimmer.
“Guys is everything okay, did any pony get hurt.” Starlight asked frantically.
“I’m afraid some pony did Sugarcube.” Applejack spoke mournfully pointing at Twilight’s beaten and bruised body.
Starlight began tearing up remembering all of her moments with Twilight, how she helped reform Starlight, the times Twilight comforted her, and their conversations and it was safe to say she was heartbroken.
“No, Twilight, Please wake up, please. No I lost one friend once I can’t lose one again, no.” Starlight cried out in tears.
When Spike touched her back she looked back up and saw he was also in tears, the two embraced to comfort each other as they were both feeling the same amount of pain from this new loss.
After Spike and Starlight broke off from the hug. Starlight opened her eyes and saw a guilty Tempest Shadow but all Starlight saw was red before she narrowed her eyes and gritted her teeth, so she leapt off the ground and pounced on Tempest her horn flaring in rage, a cloud of anger began forming from her horn.
“You, this is all your fault, your army invaded Canterlot and you took her away from me, you’re gonna pay for this you heartless monster.” Starlight screamed in fury.
Tempest closed her eyes in fear, she knew she deserved this but before Starlight did anything, Spike intervened.
“Starlight calm down she didn’t do it, Twilight only passed away because of the tornado, Tempest didn’t do anything, besides this is not what Twilight would want.” Spike said in an attempt to calm the enraged purple haired unicorn.
Starlight’s horn stopped flaring but she was still upset.
“But she still invaded Canterlot, this is all her fault.” Starlight cried out in angry tears.
Tempest lowered her head in shame, what Starlight said was right, she was part of the reason Twilight is gone.
“Starlight I know you’re upset, but please calm down.” Spike begged.
“Fine, but only because you asked me.” Starlight said.
Starlight then looked back at Tempest with remorse she never meant to seriously hurt Tempest and she did feel bad for attacking Tempest a bit, but she was still infuriated with the unicorn, she would not forgive Tempest, ever.
Celestia looked back at Twilight’s corpse and began to tear up, she was mortified at the sight of Twilight’s battered, beaten, and bruised body she just lost her most faithful student and the closest thing she had to a daughter figure, Celestia felt as if she has failed her as a teacher and a mother and that made her cry.
“I am so sorry my daughter.”
Author's Note
This concept has somewhat been done before, I wanted to try this out myself, except instead of doing it in Canterlot Wedding I figured the movie would fit better, also don’t worry I won’t be too hard on Tempest since I plan on her reforming but she will be put through a lot in this story.
After Twilight passed away, news spread around Equestria about this tragedy.
Trixie was shocked that some pony who could match her abilities passed away, she was there for Starlight as this news upset her best friend a lot and she noticed a change in Starlight and it bothered her a bit.
Discord was enraged and saddened at hearing one of his friends was gone because of the Storm King and was there for Fluttershy in this rough time.
The Cutie Mark Crusaders were crushed at hearing Twilight was gone, and their sisters were there to comfort them.
Capper, Skystar, and the pirates were also upset by the news, they didn’t know Twilight that well but from what they saw she was a good pony, a bit strict but she was a great princess.
Shining Armor perhaps took it the worst out of all of them, he was very angry at hearing what happened to his sister, so he made it so Tempest was thrown in prison for what happened.
Currently at the Crystal Empire, Shining Armor and Cadence were busy talking about Tempest’s sentencing.
“Shining, I know what she did was bad, but prison for life is too harsh, especially since from what Spike told us, Tempest didn’t cause Twilight to die.” Cadence lectured.
“She is still guilty of many crimes, attempted murder according to Capper and the pirates, enslavement, petrification, harassing royalty, and imprisoning other ponies I am practically going easy on her.” Shining Armor argued.
“Shining, Twilight asked that we give Tempest another chance. Remember how well that went with Starlight?” Cadence argued back.
“That is completely different.” Shining Armor argued.
“No it isn’t.” Cadence argued.
“Yes it is.” Shining Armor said.
“Shiny you think Twilight would want this?” Cadence asked.
“Fine, we shall give her a fair trial in court, it is a waste of time obviously but we shall give her a fair chance.” Shining Armor relented.
“Thank you Shiny.” Cadence said softly.
“You’re welcome but I will be giving her a Prosecutor that will be strict, honest, and fair.” Shining Armor said.
“Of course I understand.” Cadence said.
Back at Twilight’s castle, Starlight was still crying, she lost her best friend but the funny thing is that she thought of Twilight as more than a friend and now she would never get to tell her.
“It’s all Tempest’s fault, if she hadn’t been such a greedy, power hungry twit, none of this would be happening.” Starlight ranted.
“Sigh I may be mad but I don’t wanna cause too much harm to Tempest, though I do want her to rot in a cell, does that make sense.” Starlight asked the creature standing next to her which was revealed to be Trixie.
“In my opinion yes it does make sense, she took what you loved but you still have a heart and don’t want her to become a torture dummy.” Trixie explained.
“Hey Starlight, this letter was sent to you, you might wanna read it.” Spike said walking inside.
Starlight took a look at the letter and had a smile.
“Interesting, I guess I’m about to become a prosecutor, have fun in prison Tempest.” Starlight monologues with a smirk.
“Starlight, we’re still in the room, monologue on your own time.” Trixie sarcastically comments.
“Oh, sorry.” Starlight sheepishly says.
Author's Note
I’m sorta giving Starlight an anti-hero role, I say that because Starlight isn’t a villain in this story she is going through a lot of grief and she has an extreme hatred for the pony who took her friend away from her. Now she isn’t exactly in the right but her actions and behavior in this story is understandable.
Tempest sat in her cell ashamed of herself, she felt like she deserved this, she treated her kind so horribly, she only had two visitors, Cadence and Spike, everyone else was either afraid, or angered by her presence. She did have Grubber as her cellmate, he was getting a lighter sentence since he didn't cause much damage or commit enough crimes in fact he pleaded guilty which gave him a one year sentence. All the Storm Guards refused reformation so they were imprisoned for life.
Grubber noticed his friend feeling down and decided to talk to Tempest about this.
"Tempest, we both know that what happened to the purple alicorn princess wasn't your fault, please don't beat yourself up about this." Grubber pleaded.
"Grubber this isn't just because of Twilight, I shot down an airship, I enslaved ponies, and I physically harmed a lot of creatures, this is where I belong." Tempest said mournfully.
"Well that's up to the court to decide, and if you ask me that purple haired unicorn who attacked you sounds a lot more unhinged than you are." Grubber said.
"Grubber she has every right to be mad at me, don't say stuff like that." Tempest commanded softly.
"Okay, but still things will get better." Grubber said with some hope.
"I hope your right Grubber." Tempest said while looking out her cell window.
Back at the friendship castle, Spike, Sunburst, and Trixie were discussing about Starlight's mental health.
"Sunburst we don't know what to do, she's becoming more vengeful than ever, she told me she wants justice to be thrown at Tempest and by justice she means she wants Tempest to be imprisoned." Spike said.
"While that is justified, Starlight seems to be taking this a bit too far, we might have to talk to her about this and hope she listens." Sunburst responded.
"And what happens if she doesn't, what will we do then?" Trixie asks annoyed.
"I don't know, I haven't planned that far." Sunburst responded.
"Guys, look she's coming." Spike interrupts.
Starlight then walks in the room where the three were talking, and spoke "Hey Sunburst, I got your letter to meet here, so what do you wanna talk about?"
"Starlight, we're a bit concerned about how you've been acting recently." Sunburst spoke softly.
"And by a bit concerned he means very concerned." Trixie said.
"We know you're upset about Twilight, but this isn't the way to handle this. Can't you be fair and go easy on Tempest when your the prosecutor against her?" Spike asked in concern.
"I will be fair when I am the prosecutor against Tempest, but I will not go easy on her." Starlight says softly.
"But Starlight if you act on anger and vengeance won't you be going down the wrong path like you used to?" Trixie commented.
That comment made something in Starlight snap and she then looked directly at Trixie with anger in her eyes.
"No I won't be going down the wrong path, and do you know why? Because whatever I say in that court case will be true and honest. So don't even think for a moment I'm turning evil again." Starlight yelled.
"Understood." Trixie said frightened.
"Good, sorry I yelled but you need to stop assuming I'll turn evil because I'm suffering grief, I'm gonna go prepare for my court case against Tempest." Starlight stated before leaving the room.
After Starlight left, Sunburst seemed calm and sighed in relief.
"That went well." Sunburst said honestly.
"Yeah at least she listened." Spike said in agreement.
"Note to Self don't talk about Starlight's evil past." Trixie muttered to herself.
Author's Note
Yeah I may be focusing on Starlight a lot, but she's not the only focus of the story, the Mane 5 will have a role in this, and Tempest will get her own chapters, I like Grubber so I gave him a positive role in this story. I hope I wrote him well, and no I am not writing his lisp that is a bit too hard to write or read in my opinion. Hopefully I'm doing well so far.
Cadence visited Tempest’s cell, and asked for her presence, the two were walking down the halls.
“Princess, I’m so-“ Tempest began before Cadence interrupted.
“I know, and I got you a good lawyer, also even if you do get the guilty verdict, you will not be in prison for life just for many years.” Cadence said.
“Thank you, your majesty.” Tempest said gratefully.
“Cadence is fine.” Cadence corrected.
Soon Tempest’s lawyer showed up and it turned out to be Spike.
“Hi Tempest, I know we got off on the wrong foot but hopefully we can prove you’re not guilty.” Spike greeted.
“This little guy is my lawyer? Isn’t he a little young?” Tempest asked.
“Dragons age differently from ponies, I’m actually 18.” Spike states.
“That makes sense.” Tempest said.
The two made it to the court room where here were mixed reactions, Applejack and Rainbow Dash were furious at Tempest, Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy hesitantly waved at Tempest, Rarity looked away, Sunburst looked around awkwardly and Luna and Discord glared hatefully at the unicorn.
Celestia was the judge while the Mane 5, Sunburst, Luna, and Discord were the jury.
“All stand.” Celestia commanded.
Everyone stood up.
“Tempest Shadow, you have committed countless crimes in Equestria, how do you plead?” Celestia asked in her Royal Canterlot voice.
Spike shot Tempest a thumbs up which gave the unicorn some confidence.
“Not guilty.” Tempest spoke.
“Bullshit.” Discord cried out flying from his seat
“Discord!” Fluttershy scolded.
“Sorry.” Discord apologizes before going back to his seat.
“So be it, let the trial begin, the lawyers for Tempest Shadow will be Princess Cadence and Prince Spike.” Celestia announces in her normal voice.
“While the prosecutors will consist of both Prince Shining Armor and Starlight Glimmer.” Celestia announces.
“What?” Cadence said in shock.
“Oh yeah I forgot to mention Starlight was the prosecutor.” Spike admits bashfully.
“Welcome Tempest Shadow.” Starlight spoke with a smirk.
“Objection why is Starlight the Prosecution?” Cadence asked.
“She is one of Equestria’s heroes Cadence, she has every right to be here.” Shining Armor answered.
“Indeed Shining Armor, Let the trial begin.” Celestia announces.
“Your honor Tempest Shadow invaded Canterlot, imprisoned many ponies and enslaved them.” Shining Armor said.
“Objection Starlight did the same thing, the slavery thing not the invasion or imprisoning thing.” Spike argued causing Starlight to glare at the dragon.
“Overruled, Twilight gave me proof that her villagers came willingly when Starlight came here for her court case.” Celestia said.
“I still feel bad about it though I still did some bad stuff he’s right about that.” Starlight admitted bashfully.
“Regardless we cannot play that card since she already paid for her crimes.” Celestia said.
Spike snapped his fingers in frustration, he couldn’t play the hypocrisy card then. He’d have to try Plan B.
“Any other stuff you’d like to say Spike?” Celestia said.
“No your honor, continue.” Spike relents.
“She is also guilty of enslaving Klugetown. To prove this I call to the stand Capper.” Shining Armor said.
Capper is now sitting at the stand while Starlight questions him.
“So Capper, do you swear you will tell the truth?” Starlight asked.
“Sure I will tell the truth, for now of course.” Capper answers.
“Good enough, so is it true the Storm King took over Klugetown?” Starlight asked.
“Yes it is true, I no longer could trust anybody after the Storm King took over so I became a con-artist, slavery became legal, and everyone kept selling stuff in Storm King prices.” Capped said in sadness.
“Despicable, and was Tempest in this invasion?” Starlight asked.
“Yes, I did see a unicorn.” Capper said.
“No further questions at this time.” Starlight said with a smirk.
Soon Tempest will suffer for what she did to every creature, this is for Twilight justice will come through. Starlight thought happily.
Spike, Cadence, and Tempest looked at each other scared, this would be a tough court case.
Author's Note
I have finally addressed the Starlight issue, so yeah they cannot play the hypocrisy card because Starlight paid for her crimes, yeah I know I’m still using her but she’s the prosecution I have to use her here. More characters will gain more time to shine, I have already proven that with Celestia, Capper, Spike, Shining Armor, and Cadence. Hopefully you enjoyed this chapter.
The trial was not looking good for Tempest, Capper already put another black mark on her record, and she was scared to find out what the others would have to say about her.
“Now if there are no further questions, may Captain Celano please show up to the stand?” Starlight announced.
As soon as Celano sat down, Shining Armor began questioning her.
“Ms. Celano is it true that your crew was enslaved by Tempest and the Storm Guards?” Shining Armor asked in a serious tone.
“It’s true, your majesty, we have been forced to do grueling hours of work, with the threat of the Storm King or Tempest harming us otherwise, the only thing that kept us going was our determination and each other, when we broke free from their wrath, Tempest tried to sink our ship with us in it.” Celano confessed in a stoic tone.
The entire room gasped, and Shining Armor shook his head in disapproval.
“How monstrous.” Shining Armor stated in anger.
“We would also like to call Skystar to the stand.” Starlight said.
When Skystar showed up to the stand, Starlight began questioning.
“So Princess Skystar, I know you’re not a fan of tense situations so I’ll make this quick, is it true that Tempest and the Storm King invaded your kingdom and forced you into hiding?” Starlight asked.
“Yes.” Skystar confesses tearfully.
“That’s all I need to know.” Starlight confirmed.
“Does the defendant have anything to say?” Celestia asked.
“Yes, Tempest unfroze you all and fixed everything and most of her crimes were undone, surely that would help her case.” Spike asked.
“Yes, but at what cost, we lost Twilight because of her.” Starlight argues.
“That was an accident.” Cadence said.
“It does not matter, so we would like to call Tempest to the stand.” Shining Armor commanded.
When Tempest was at the stand she was very nervous, all eyes were on her, and Shining Armor walked up to her and began his questioning.
“So Tempest Shadow, why did you commit all these crimes?” Shining Armor asked.
“Because the Storm King promised he would give me my horn.” Tempest admitted in shame.
“You did all this because you were power hungry, even though you seem to have a lot of power already. Was it worth committing all these terrible crimes just to get your horn back?” Shining Armor asked.
“No sir.” Tempest admitted.
“And what would you have done if the Storm King kept his word?” Shining Armor asked.
“I would’ve kept serving him.” Tempest admitted ashamed.
The whole crowd gasped in shock, except Starlight who smirked knowing she would be convicted as guilty.
“Despicable.” Shining Armor lectured.
After a while the trial ended and the jury made their choice.
“The court has come to a decision, Tempest Shadow is guilty on all charges, she is sentenced to 10 years in the Canterlot Dungeons.” Celestia sentenced.
Cadence and Spike lowered their heads they failed to save Tempest while Starlight began cheering.
“Ha, I was right, you are guilty and now Everypony knows it too.” Starlight bragged cheerfully.
“Give it a rest Starlight.” Spike lectured.
“No it’s okay, I understand, I’m sorry for what has happened to Twilight and I am sorry for all the pain I caused, it’s time I face the consequences.” Tempest stages before following the guards to her cell.
Spike and the others all left in sadness or anger, while Starlight remained in the room for a bit feeling a bit guilty for how she acted.
“Huh, this doesn’t feel as good as I... Yay I won.” Starlight said with some remorse.
Author's Note
Starlight is beginning to feel guilt for her actions but she is still somewhat convinced she was right. Next chapter will show Twilight’s funeral as well as a certain surprise.
After a few days, Capper, Skystar, and the Pirates stayed in Twilight’s castle since there was some room for them, and Celestia messaged Queen Novo where her daughter was so she would not worry but she requested her to show up to Equestria later.
Starlight walked inside the castle where the funeral was, she has been feeling guilty for the past few days ever since Tempest got locked up, it didn’t help Spike stopped talking to her, he even claimed Starlight spat on Twilight’s grave which hurt Starlight but once Spike explained that Twilight wanted Tempest to be redeemed, she saw why Spike was mad at her.
She was the reason Tempest was arrested, she could’ve given Tempest a chance but no she had to act on grief.
When Starlight was walking in the hallway, she noticed someone touching her back, she was shocked to find out Spike was the one there.
“Hey, I know that I said some pretty mean things and I’m sorry, you never meant to spit on Twilight’s grave, I probably should’ve told you about Twilight’s request to reform Tempest but I thought you knew.” Spike apologized.
“Why did you think I knew what Twilight wanted?” Starlight asked softly.
“I thought one of our friends told you, and I found you didn’t know this because when I told Trixie, she made it aware you didn’t know what I was talking about until I told you.” Spike explained in regret.
“Well I’m sorry I acted so harsh and cruel.” Starlight apologized.
“You has every right to be mad, but you handled it wrong, I forgive you and to be honest, we both need each other more than ever.” Spike responded.
“I guess we do.” Starlight said with a smile.
“Are you two finally friends again? Come on we need to get to our seats.” Discord said annoyed before teleporting the Spike, Starlight, and himself to the room where the funeral was.
Every pony saw Twilight’s body and began to cry but they were holding their tears in respect.
Celestia walked up to the podium and began to speak.
“My subjects, we have gathered here to honor the life of Twilight Sparkle, she was a friend, a princess, to some a potential lover, but most of all she was family.” Celestia stated.
“If any pony would like to speak to Twilight Sparkle they may do so.” Luna said.
Trixie walked up first and made her speech.
“When I first met you Twilight, I saw you as a menace, and a nuisance but today I now realize that I have grown to respect you as a friend and I am horribly upset by this loss.” Trixie announces.
Discord goes up next and he made his speech.
“Hey Twilight, it’s me Discord, I just wanna thank you for all that you’ve done for me in these past 3 years, even when I faked sickness you still traveled to the ends of Equestria for me and after I betrayed Equestria you still gave me another chance, I am grateful for that, and I’m so sorry that I was such a jerk to you in the past.” Discord apologizes.
Rainbow Dash then flies over and gives her goodbye speech.
“Twilight, what you did to save all of us is beyond brave and you showed true loyalty. You really are gutsier than I probably will ever be. I know I sometimes I pick on you, but everytime, you've proven me wrong and you don't even gloat about it. I’m so sorry for what I did back at the beach by abandoning you, you were stressed and all we did was screw up and treat this mission like it was a field trip. I’m so sorry Twilight.” Rainbow Dash said.
Fluttershy went up next and began her speech.
"Twilight, you truly are the kindest pony I've ever met. You've always set aside your needs to help someone else, even at the expense of your own joy or pleasure. You gave every creature the benefit of the doubt and even reformed some villains. Before I met you I was very shy and while I still am shy, I’m more brave than I used to be and I’m so sorry for how I acted as well.” Fluttershy spoke in tears.
Rarity went up next and began speaking.
“Twilight you are the most generous pony in all Equestria, you give many ponies and creatures a lot more than I ever have, all I have ever done was take you for granted and I’m so sorry for every horrible thing I have ever done.” Rarity cried out.
Applejack went up next and began speaking.
“Twilight, you’re a very honest pony, and I am so sorry for what happened at the beach, what we did was beyond silly and we should’ve worked things out instead of walking away like that, maybe things would’ve ended differently but in the end we can’t change the past, and I’m gonna miss you Twilight.” Applejack said.
Spike went up but he wasn’t going up to say goodbye he went up to introduce some pony.
“I’ve already said my good bye to Twilight but I brought a certain some pony here to speak.” Spike said.
The doors opened and in came a surprising visitor.
“Sunset Shimmer.” Celestia spoke in shock.

Yeah I have to split this in two again, sorry guys I’m a bit busy but I was able to get some speeches in.
Sunset Shimmer walked up to Twilight and began speaking.
“Twilight, I wanna thank you for all that you have done for me, it’s because of you I have come so far in my redemption, honestly I’ll never forget what you have done for me, and now that the Memory Stone is crushed, it’s going to stay that way, thank you Twilight for all that you’ve done for me.” Sunset said.
Starlight walked up to Twilight and spoke.
“Twilight I’m so sorry I never should’ve made that court case against Tempest, I should’ve forgiven her, but now she’s in jail and it’s my fault. I want to thank you for everything you’ve done for me, if it weren’t for you I’d still be the delusional pony you met. Twilight I’ve always had a crush on you and I really care about you, Twilight I love you and I’m sorry I never told you until now.” Starlight said.
Shining Armor went up next and began speaking
“Twily I am so sorry I wasn’t there at the festival I could’ve protected you but I had to watch over the Empire. That is no excuse though I’m very sorry. Twily I am also very sorry about how I acted at the wedding rehearsal I never should’ve lost my temper back then I know you already forgave me but I had to tell you this. You are the best sister any pony could ask for.” Shining Armor said.
Pinkie Pie was the last one to make her speech
“Oh Twilight, I am so sorry I never should’ve yelled at you but I was so upset but that’s no excuse I never should’ve said you were holding us back. It’s all my fault, all my fault. Twilight I love you too, like Starlight I always had a crush on you, but I never said anything so I wouldn’t ruin our friendship but I feel I should tell you this. Goodbye my love.” Pinkie Pie cried out.
“Thank you all for your speeches my sister, Cadence and I have already said our goodbyes and now it’s time to bury the body.” Celestia stated.
“I have arrived as requested Princess Celestia, I am sorry for the intrusion but I had to show up.” Queen Novo said.
Every pony in the room glared at Queen Novo.
“I get the feeling I did something wrong.” Queen Novo said.

"You, this is all your fault." Rainbow Dash hollered while flying over to Queen Novo.
"What are you talking about?" Queen Novo asked.
"You refused to give the pearl to Twilight making her have to resort to stealin' it because we needed it to save Equestria." Applejack said.
"She stole it, of course I made you leave." Queen Novo said angered by this accusation.
"She said she was going to borrow it, not take it, and she's from Equestria's care a place which you trust." Rainbow Dash seethed.
"We could've stopped the Storm King together but no you had to do this to us. Now Twilight's gone because of the Storm King." Rarity rants while sobbing.
"Wait I'm confused what happened after I sent you back to shore?" Queen Novo asked.
"We had this massive fight with Twilight and we walked away from Twilight leaving her alone, allowing the Storm King to capture her, ooooooooooooh." Pinkie Pie said with a guilty smile.
"You did WHAT?! and you claim to love her?! I spit on your lies." Starlight angrily shouted to Pinkie Pie with her horn glowing red, which everyone got scared of but then Starlight quickly calmed down realizing she was acting like a lunatic but still kept a silent glare.
"Sounds to me this more your fault than mine, I am sorry about Twilight I truly am and I hope you all feel better but I will not be accused for something that I couldn't have predicted." Queen Novo said.
Everypony and Queen Novo walked off angered at the Mane 5 except Spike who was just disappointed before leaving the only ones who stayed were Discord, Capper, the pirates and Skystar.
"What have we doooooooooooooooooone?!" Pinkie Pie asked in tears.
In the shadow a pair of blue eyes were shown watching this display and the figure smirked.

Yep I called out Novo and the Mane 5, but who was that figure, could it be?! Is it he or she?!
Starlight felt terrible for yelling at Pinkie Pie she didn’t know if it was jealousy or anger. Maybe both, but in her mind she felt it was The Mane 5’s fault Twilight is gone. If they didn’t leave Twilight all alone Twilight would still be here so she felt anger.
Spike was a friend of Starlight and the Mane 5, Starlight calmed down now but she still felt mad at the Mane 5 he could not blame Starlight he was upset with them too, though but it’s clear the Mane 5 felt sorry so she felt conflicted.
Capper a former con-artist was there for Rarity during this tough time, he felt like crap ever since he almost sold the Mane 6 to Vergo and he tried to make up for what he did but he thought it wasn’t enough so he felt regret.
Captain Celeano was there for Rainbow Dash during this whole thing they bonded over the past few days although she was still reminded of how she let the Storm King take over their lives, and was still haunted by it. So she felt pain.
Skystar and Novo were staying at Celestia’s castle but they couldn’t help but feel they were responsible in some way for what happened to Twilight, so Skystar felt emptiness.
it was somewhat Novo’s fault for what happened and she knew it but she also felt she did nothing wrong so she felt denial.
The Mane 5 were in tears and they missed Twilight the most they remembered the joy, the tears they faced together but they remembered the fateful day she left so they felt sadness.
Tempest Shadow was in her cell counting the days, all of this was her fault she had cost Equestria their princess and her friend so Tempest felt remorse.
The shadowy figure was walking through the Everfree Forest angrily. He was furious, his army was imprisoned and he was powerless. The only good thing for him is that the purple alicorn he was against died.
The figure then came to the light to reveal the Storm King. He was plotting a scheme for revenge when suddenly he heard a buzzing noise.
“Well Well if it isn’t the Storm King, I’ve heard of you from the newspaper very .” The voice spoke as the figure flew down with her wings.
“And who are you?” Storm King asked.
“I am Chrysalis, Queen of the Changelings or at least I used to be, but now thanks to that foul Starlight Glimmer I have no subjects.” The changeling known as Chrysalis spoke angrily.
“Well I just lost my army due to a bunch of pastel ponies.” Storm King ranted.
“You know Storm King if we work together we can defeat Starlight and her friends, they no longer have the Elements of Harmony to use against us now that one of the elements is dead.” Chrysalis smirked.
“I like the sound of that. Deal.” Storm King shook Chrysalis’ hoof.

Yep this story isn’t dead. Sorry it took so long to get a chapter out. Now we’re back on track.
Starlight was pacing around her bedroom.
“Gah, what is wrong with me, I keep having these outbursts.” Starlight said in worry.
Spike then walked in the room and began speaking “Uh Starlight are you okay?”
“No I’m not okay, I keep having these outbursts and I can hardly control myself.” Starlight explained.
“Starlight it’s clear as day you took this invasion way harder than all of us do you wanna talk about it?” Spike asked patting her back.
“I guess.” Starlight sighed.
“It’s just that me and Twilight were really close and I was so worried for Twilight and all of you, that when I found out she was dead, I was devastated and enraged so I took it out on those who I thought were responsible like Applejack, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie and especially Tempest.” Starlight explained “I messed up with them Spike. I’m not sure if our friends will forgive me.”
“They’re our friends Starlight, of course they’ll forgive you.” Spike said encouragingly.
“How can you be so sure.” Starlight asked.
“Well one time I thought Twilight would never forgive me and that she’d stop being my friend after I left her at the wedding rehearsal, but she reassured me that I’d always be her friend despite the mistakes I made because friends forgive each other.” Spike explained “Plus you’ve been forgiven for worse stuff.”
“Heh heh, you’re right Spike I should go apologize to them.” Starlight said.
Before she left however, Spike burped out a letter.
“It’s from Princess Celestia.” Spike said before reading “Spike get the former Elements of Harmony and Starlight Glimmer, Queen Chrysalis has returned and is invading Canterlot. “
“Wait Queen Chrysalis has returned, we have to go stop her.” Starlight said in panic.
“We have to go get our friends.” Spike called out.

I know the reference to Canterlot Wedding might irritate you but I used it as an example to show that we all make mistakes and it’s better to forgive then dwell on it, well unless the thing we do is unforgivable.
