It was supposed to be a normal evening. Emphasis on NORMAL! She was supposed to have Made Dinner, ate the Dinner, then sat down and watched the news for some Three odd hours before going to bed at 10:00. That was the normal Evening She had planned.
However, Fate had decided that her plan was a stupid ass plan and decided to ignore it. Instead placing a Delicately crafted Screaming Basket at her doorstep. Did she mention it was Screaming? Must not have because it definitely was screaming.
What ever was under the Blanket had to be a Prank of sorts. A mean spirited prank, but a prank nonetheless.
Lifting up the Checkerboard quilt revealed the Answer to herself. "What the Fuck is this?" She thought aloud. In the basket metastasized a Writhing mass of Pinks, Purples, Ceruleans, Whites, Oranges and Yellows.
The Colors were rather Muted, which made it easier to look at. "What is this?" She asked again, prodding the Mass with an out stretched finger. The Mass squished under her Finger. It felt fairly Bony and Furry, Like a well loved Blanket in need of a wash, but could got a Few extra Weeks at most.
The pink lump squirmed and shivered beneath her Touch, as if it was trying to avoid the sensation of being poked. It shifted around, Revealing a few Protrusions, as well as a Shaved and tattooed section of fur.
The Black outlines Making up a pattern of three balloons and their strings. "Alright, enough beating around the bush." She violently ripped the Quilt away from the Basket. Revealing the fluffy noodle was actually a bunch of Lumps with Legs, and Heads. "What the Fuck is this?!" She asked for the third time. The Masses writhed together, Spilling out onto the table and crawling away to safety.
The Cerulean one was about to fall off the Table, but Elias Grabbed the Creature before it could launch off into the void. She placed it on top of a White Horned Lump, attempting to Stop them both. Or at least slow them Down.
"Uh..." She looked over at the The other lumps continuing to spread out. Their stumpy legs Scrapping them Across the Table. She could just about see the Cerulean finally Dragging itself off the Pearly White Lump.
At the Very least, they weren't Wailing to much. Just a bit.
Elias decided the Best course of action was to just dump them Back into the Basket and worry about it later. Like with most things, they should be assessed by someone more sober than Her.
She went around the Table, Picking up The Foals as she went, placing them Back into the Basket. They Squirmed in her grip, one tried to bite her. The experience wasn't pleasant.
She Just tossed the Quilt back over the Top and walked upstairs, took a right and flopped onto the Bed. Forgetting about the News she planned on watching. Eh... nothing exciting ever happens on there. Doubt she's miss anything.
– January 3 – 2008 –
Elias Woke to a Pounding headache. She didn't drink that much, did she? Nah. She could barely stand the stuff anyways. No. The Current wailing coming from down the Stairs was what gave her the Migraine.
She Wrenched herself out of bed, Actually driven for something this time, and Made her way down the stairs. The Crying gained in intensity until peaking at the top of the stairs. She looked at the Dinning table, a Tiny little Piece of shit, only to see the Quilt off the Basket and empty.
Her Blood ran cold for a second as she realized she would have to Search her house for all six of them. At least the First one was Easy. She found the Buttercream Filly huddled behind the Toaster. Obviously terrified of her.
She paid that fact no mind as she Lifted the Toaster from its resting place and Picked up the Yellow Filly. She Squeaked and flailed in her hand, the tiny Under developed wings on her back Clamping to her skin as hard as possible.
The woman crossed the Kitchen quickly, depositing the Filly in the Basket. "Stay there." She said sternly. The filly curled up on herself. Too scared to react.
It wasn't until a whole Twenty minutes later did she find the Next one. The Orange Filly was crouched under the Coffee table. She was far enough under that she had to move the entire table to get her. But she managed. Two down, four more to go.
Elias managed to get a lucky, or rather unlucky, break when the Spotted two of them together. Out in the open. Right next to her favorite lamp. She started to approach when the Cerulean Filly seemed to Prepare to Buck the Lamp of the table. She instantly froze, gaining a look of 'That's right. I'm boss now Haybail.' from the Pegasus.
Of all the thing The Pink Earth Pony could have been distracted by. A Cookie she forgot about was the one she chose. She still wanted the cookie.
"Hey, how's about we talk about this." Elias tried to appeal to the Pegasus, she seemed to think it over. Before resuming bucking posturer. "For fucks sack. What do you want?" The Cerulean Filly seemed to comply and make demands, but the were unintelligible Baby Babel. "Oh my- Your friends… Family? I don't know, point is I didn't hurt them. Just let the Lamp go." She took one step forwards. Big mistake.
The Tiny Devil extended her Hind Legs in what Elias Perceived to be Slow Motion as the Lamp was thrown off the Table. It wasn't far, just far enough. Elias dove for the Lamp, but the effort was too little to late as the Fragile piece of Lighting smashed to bits on the ground. The woman hugged the sharks close as she fake sobbed. The Filly gave a Laugh of Pure Evil from the Table, moments before Elias Griped both her, and her friend.
The Cerulean filly gave Her an innocent smile. "You’ve lost all sympathy from me." She said coldly. The Filly looked down in disappointment as she was wrapped up in Paper towels and dumped into the Basket. The Pink Filly decidedly not quite understanding what was going on. Four down, Two More to go.
The Remaining hour was spent looking for the Lavender Alicorn. She had found the White Unicorn in the Closet. Oddly entranced by her Clothes. So far, she had checked every Room, every piece of furniture, every nook and cranny except for... the Book Shelf.
She walked up to the Three layered Storage unit mentally exhausted, and sure enough. She found the Tiny little pony Sleeping in between the Spacer and the Wall. She must have missed the Pony earlier.
Elias gently prodded the small Equine. She raised her Ears first, then Her head, eyes squinted with Drowsiness. They shared Prolonged Eye contact before She picked up the Pony and carried her over to The Basket.
In there she found the Others well behaved. Aside from Major pain the arse over there still in her makeshift straight jacket. Stewing.
"Alright, I got her." She gently placed the Lavender Pony into the Basket next to the Buttercream Filly. The Aforementioned Filly still Shied away from her hands. "Now, please stay in the Basket for now." She asked them. They looked at her with Vague understanding. "So, you six must be hungry right?" They stared at her, the Pink one still satisfied with her cookie. "I'll take that as a yes."
In the Refrigerator was very few articles of food. But she did have Carrot sticks. They should enjoy a Packet or two of those. Hopefully.
