Load Full StoryNext ChapterA year after the ill-fated fall prom, Sunset still can’t forgive herself for being such a cocky, empty girl. She rejected what is most important to her now - friendship. While the rest of the school still doesn’t respect her, she’s glad to have the help of six friends she once hurt.
Although she has come to terms with them so long ago, sometimes she still cannot understand why.
“Why have you forgiven me after all I’ve done to you?” Sunset asked a bit sadly.
“Because everyone deserves a second chance,” all six replied.
A sign of forgiveness from her friends made Sunset feel better at the same time knowing that she had hurt others over the years and that some of the junior-grade kids were ending up with the school psychologist almost to despair.
“Sunset don’t cry” Fluttershy said calmly.
“How can I not cry? I hurt so many older and younger people, I tried to enslave you and take advantage of you,as a mindless army. So now practically the whole school hates me” She shouted, sobbing with tears in her eyes.
“There’s always a chance to fix past mistakes, we’ll help you with that,” Applejack said, and they all hugged Sunset happily.
“Thank you, you are loved until tomorrow,” she said with tears in her eyes.
“Goodbye baby,” they replied.
The girls watched as Sunset walked towards her home, they were very happy that Sunset was already a good person, they remember her back then when she was mean and whoever dared to oppose her didn’t have an easy life with her at school.
“Ehh, if someone told me a year ago that I would be friends with Sunset, I would laugh at him,” Rarity said
“The truth,” Fluttershy said in a shy and soft voice.
“You have to forgive and forget like it’s snowfall,” Rainbow Dash replied.
“I’m glad she understood her mistakes, but it’s a shame the rest of the school still doesn’t like her, but it’s hard for them to be surprised,” Applejack said.
“No matter what used to be important what is now, let’s get back to our homes better, it’s late,” said Twilight.
The girls agreed with the purple-haired girl friend, they were still looking with a smile at Sunset going further away:
“See you tomorrow!” They screamed out
Sunset was happy to come home, but despite the fact that she had six great friends, she felt that something was missing in her heart, even though she was from the pony world, that walking through the mirror was the best decision she had made in her entire life. It was thanks to this that she understood that she had acted very wrong and discovered what her mentor Celestia had been trying to tell her for a long time. So she decided to write her a long letter of apologies and thanks for the teachings she had learned and had not appreciated at the time. Deep down, however, she felt that this was what she was missing, but still felt that this was not the end of her magical adventures.
As she walked for a long time, the worried girl remembered what her mother from the pony world had taught her in her childhood. She concluded that despite the fact that her mother was not a perfect parent, she has always been and will be the most beloved mother. She shed a tear at the thought of not seeing her in several years, and she wished he could see her.
“Ohh Mum I miss you” she said crying
She entered the house, took off her jacket and shoes, set them on the little bench standing just outside the door, and calmly walked up the stairs to the room. When she entered, she put her backpack by her desk and stood sourly at the entrance, wondering what Celestia was feeling as Sunset escaped that day. Knowing that she had hurt her mentor badly, she jumped on the bed. She grabbed the pen, intending to write a VERY long apology, when she touched the sheet with the pen, suddenly a bright flash of sunlight flashed through the window, illuminating the night sky and leaving a bright hole near her house.
Shocked, Sunset put down the book and pen while staring out the window in surprise.
“What was that?” she thought in a bit of shock then left the room deciding to check what actually happened
She went downstairs and dressed her jacket, she also took a flashlight because it was 11pm so it was already dark outside. She was running through a small forest, the sound of the wind rustling the leaves of the trees, when she finally reached the place, she noticed that this “something” had left some fiery scratches, like after a meteor fall.
“Wow” she said in great amazement.
With her eye, she warned something about the size of a small box.
“That it fell from heaven, and caused a fire-like wave? ?” she thought in surprise then picked up the object
She decided to check what was in it at home, she felt very close, as if something in this container was moving.
“Hmm interesting,” she said
When she got home, she put her things back in place and went to her room.
“Then let’s see what’s inside,” she replied with great interest
After a few moments, she managed to open the container, what she saw there made her freeze in shock. Right now she forgot all her worries, just wondered what it was doing in this world? Amazed with her find, she wrote to her friends asking for an immediate meeting in front of her house.
Despite the late hour, the girls showed up quickly.
“Glad you are,” Sunset said
“What exactly happened?” Applejack asked
“I’d like to know that too,” Sunset said, setting the canister on the ground.
When they opened the lid, all six of them widened their eyes in surprise.
“W-What? How?” They all said at once
“I don’t know,” Sunset said
They all stared at the ground in disbelief.
