Big Momma Pizza Pie's Tour
It was a big day in Ponyville, especially for Pinkie. Her cousin Pizza Pie had written a letter to her and announced she was visiting Ponyville, as she was opening the newest location of her Equestria-famous pizza parlor, Big Momma Pizza Pie's Place.
As Pinkie was bouncing towards the parlor, her friends followed behind her. Spike was licking his lips, "I've always wanted to try the pizza at Big Momma Pizza Pie's Place! I've heard that it's the best pizza in all of Equestria!"
Rainbow Dash nodded, "Me too! Even in my wildest dreams, I never thought there would be one in Ponyville!"
Pinkie Pie giggled, "You bet her pizza's the best! She even offered a guided tour of the place!"
Applejack smiled, "That's mighty kind of her."
As the group approached the newly built pizza parlor, Pizza Pie herself came out of the front door and hugged her cousin, "Good to see you again cuz! It's been a long time since the last time we saw each other. Did you miss me? Admit it, you missed me!"
Pinkie hugged her cousin back and said, "Of course I missed you! These are my bestest friends in the whole wide world, Twilight Sparkle, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Applejack, and Spike!"
Pizza Pie smiled at them, "Nice to meet you all, any friend of my cousin is a friend of mine. Come on in, I'll give you the grand tour, and you're in for a treat, I'm going to show you all how I make my pizzas so delicious!"
As the group followed her inside, the restaurant was obviously not open yet, there were ponies cleaning the tables, getting ready for the store to open. Spike gulped when he saw the animatronic band and muttered to himself, "I haven't slept in a week cause of those animatronics in that horror game... Twilight was right, I should never have played it."
Pizza Pie introduced them to the band saying, "This here's Fratelli di Teglia, also known as the Pizza Pan Brothers! They're state of the art, and they even dispense fro-yo!" before placing a coin in one of the animatronics' hat, before it's chest opened up and dispensed cotton candy flavored frozen yogurt. She gave it to her cousin and her friends, who were impressed by the delicious yogurt.
Pinkie Pie was giggling in joy of all the rides and arcade games in the restaurant. "This place looks like so much fun! I've really got to come here during business hours!"
Twilight nodded, "This does seem like a place that values family and fun."
Pizza Pie smiled and told her, "You bet your sweet bippy it is! As long as our customers are happy, my pride as a restaurateur is intact."
Rarity stomach growled lightly and she blushed, "Terribly sorry, how uncouth of me, but I missed out on breakfast this morning. Do you think we could see how the pizza's made?"
Pizza Pie looked a bit nervous, and Pinkie asked, "What's wrong cuz? You sounded excited to show us how you make your pizza so delicious."
Her cousin nodded, "I am, I really am, it's just... nopony has ever seen how I make my pizza, not even any of my employees, so I have to ask you keep this a secret."
The group nodded and said, "Cross my heart and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye." Their ultimate promise, and the one Pinkie would get mad about if the promise was broken.
Pizza Pie smiled, "Thanks, let's go to the kitchen." before showing them the way to the kitchen, the door into it said, "Chef Pizza Pie Only!" on it.
As they walked in, Spike asked, "Hey, I don't see a thing in here other than that cabinet of potions. There's no oven, no toppings, nothing. How do you make pizza without an oven?"
Pinkie Pie tilted her head in confusion, "Yeah, Spike's right, how do you run this place with no oven?"
Pizza Pie gulped, and said, "That's the secret, my pizza is... fresh from my tail." before ripping a piece of her tail off, and putting it on the table in front of them. She then walked over to the cabinet of potions and drank one, her tail growing back instantly.
The girls' eyes widened as this happened, but Spike was already eating a slice of the pizza, "This is the best pizza I've ever had! It may be a weird way to make pizza, but it totally works!"
The girls' eyes widened even more when Spike, the super picky eater, enjoyed the pizza, prompting them to each get their own slice."
Rainbow Dash moaned in pleasure from the flavor, "That's delicious, this would go great with a pint of Apple Acres Cider!"
Applejack gulped down her piece and said, "Spike's right, it's a bit weird, but it tastes so good!"
Rarity ate her piece with a fork and knife, but nodded, "Exquisitely delightful!"
Fluttershy was a bit nervous about eating the pizza, but when she saw that the others were enjoying it, and that eating the pizza didn't cause Pizza Pie to be in any pain, she started eating her own slice. "Wow, this is really good."
As Twilight swallowed her piece, she asked Pizza Pie, "So your secret recipe is your own mane and tail?"
Pizza Pie nodded slowly, "Please, you promised you wouldn't tell anypony! I can't let this get out!"
Twilight smiled, "Of course, I made a Pinkie Pie promise, and I never intend on breaking one. While I do find the method to be a little unusual, I can't deny that this is the best pizza I've ever had.
Pizza Pie smiled in glee when Twilight assured that she'd keep the secret recipe a secret because of the Pinkie Pie promise. "Thank you all, if Pinkie Pie trusts you enough to keep my secret, I do too. We're just about to open, would you like to stay for some more pizza and games?"
The girls nodded and said in union, "Sounds fun!"
As Pizza Pie turned the Closed sign on the front door to Open, a herd of ponies, most of which were adults with foals, rushed in as she did.
The girls were all playing different games, Spike and Rainbow Dash were playing air hockey together, Applejack was playing Bucking Skeeball, Twilight was playing a firefighting game with Fluttershy as player 2, and Pinkie and Rarity were on a virtual roller coaster ride.
Pizza Pie looked around her restaurant and smiled, "It's always good to see everypony enjoying themselves, and what's even better is that my friends and family are having just as much fun as I have serving customers every day.
