When straight on attacks with all measure of stealth and deception fail to bring about the result she wishes for, Chrysalis devises and puts into action a plan of such magnificent brilliance that no pony would ever suspect it: She changes sides!
When defeat after defeat humbles the mighty Queen Chrysalis to the point of being the last true changeling in the world, her entire world is shaken. Battle after battle against the ponies has driven her to the brink, and now, just before the point at which her fate would have her trapped in stone, she launches the grandest and most elaborate of schemes. She changes sides!
Who else but a changeling could pull off such a wonderful plan? What will the Queen do with herself now that she's on the same side as Twilight Sparkle? Will she actually change her ways? Does she even have to?
