Taz Darkstripe has flown all the way from the northern lands to visit his nieces, Celestia and Luna, in Equestria. But, once he gets there, tragedy strikes, resulting in the death of both his loved nieces. He is distraught, but finally decides to avenge the two mares he had raised since the tragic death of his brother and sister-in-law. He gathers the armies of Equestria and rides to face the Jesters. But is it really them who did it? Or is there somepony else… lurking in the shadows… waiting…
