He's a being not from this world he says he from a planet called earth, a planet that has been at war with many creatures. He was on an assignment to help someone until a portal opens to a world called Equestria a world filled with magic. And with Ponies, unicorns, and pegasus and also including dragons, bulls, and many more. The Guardian has been in this world for some time now and he knows the whole history about everything. He is a warlock a mage that can see the future sometimes they read books nearly fast as the speed of light to understand the knowledge that they need to know. They hold special powers called the light. He has gifted the powers of the traveler to protect lives if they were in trouble. But he's not alone for him, he has a companion called a ghost a tiny robot made by the traveler to give there, Guardian the power of the light to fight or save others. But the Guardians and their ghosts have one duty is to protect life from anything that tries to take the light to destroy enemies. A hand grabs the helmet and puts it on. The Guardian adjusts his blue leather robe and gauntlets, reloads his weapons, and puts his helmet on. His ghost appears next to him and nods, and soon the two walk out the door ready for anything to come their way. Buy then the strange humming returns making both you and your ghost look around. Find the source you look at the forest and hear the humming get louder. But not the thing you did not worry about, you're wondering why this sounds familiar. It sounds like a not complete song it talks about love and war and when the loved one returns home. This song makes you think of "Ratchet" you mumbled, jumping down from the library you listen closely to the music. And you have that feeling in your body it's something you've not felt since you help stop the taken king. Sadness on the loss of his crimson bond, his companion. The more you think the more depressed you get. Ghost feels it to he enjoyed the conversation with sagra Ratchets's ghost if ghosts could have felt like guardians these two would be in love. But just thinking about her makes you even sadder so you made up your mind and go home. (=================================) Two days later, you sit on your chair and look at a red helmet its been broken for some time now... You stop what you do and just sit. "Guardian" you hear a voice behind you Looking back you see nothing "Guardian" you hear again, looking back you see... You? Just standing there looking at you. The light in the room he's to your side leaving the other where another you stand in the dark. "W-what-" "She's gone," the dark says to you. You shack your head "no" "She's gone you stupid son of a bitch" the dark said grabbing your shoulders. "Face the facts you're stuck in another world not knowing if you can go home and save everyone. They're just keeping you here for you to suffer! You can't do anything but just wait!" The dark shouts at you before you get shoved to the ground. "No your wrong they-" "They are no help. They are useless!" The dark continues. And soon the boar appears next to the dark "this place will end you kill you ghost and kill you! Nothing is safe!" The dark said beginning to disappear "Remember this your alone no one will never help you," the dark said before he disappeared. You get up looking around the room but then back at the helmet then to outside. He's right you are alone no one can help you, you can only just wait and hope that you can go home and save everyone. (=================================) Twilight looks at the door to the Guardian's home with worry. He's been in there for three days and it's gotten the attention of the others. And twilight was the first to make her move. "Guardian your home?" She said knocking on the door hoping for an answer. . . . Nothing, twilight frowns a bit and knocks again, and still nothing. Until a note falls on her head, she looks at it until she gasps and looks at the forest. She gonna need her friends to help with this problem cus the Guardian has gone into the forest to look for answers. She runs back to her home wakes up Spike from him taking a nap and sends a letter to her teacher. She gathered her friends to meet them at Fluttershy's home to begin their search. (=================================) You continue your path through the forest hoping on finding something familiar like maybe a destroyed ship or fallen pikes. But find none. is this world making you go crazy? No, It has to be just you. "Finding something in the forest will prove nothing," the darkness said "Get out of my head," you said continuing on the path. But you then hear that humming again this time it's less quiet it more just normal. Follow g it closely you see a big rock blocking your path. Walking around it you give it a good inspection. It's just a grey rock that looks like it was meant to be here. But it looks very miss place for it only being there. There are flowers around it but it looks like something other than a rock was supposed to be there. The humming makes it very clear that this thing is supposed to be moved. Charging up you're are on your right hand you throw the act bolt at the rock. But then you feel the light get strong in your body. But then the darkness grabs your arm and throws you away from the rock. "How... Impossible a-a shard of the traveler here?" He said rubbing a hand on the top. You get up and push him away from it "leave it alone" you said. "Or else what?" "Or else I burn you into a pile!" You shout back The darkness growls a bit "not if I kill you first!" He shouts back making a first before ice forms around his hands. You feel the light burn on you making you summon the daybreak sword. But you then stop and think 'light and darkness, Hawk and boar, Guardian vs Guardian.' It all makes sense now, you look at the dark how also did the same, and his powers fade away. "That's it we fight cus were opposites" The dark nods his head "we fight for our rights" "But we need to do the right thing" You both then look at the shard "we need to stop this rivalry" you said walking to it along with the dark, the humming returns making it clear what it wants. "It wants freedom... This place... This forest is nothing but corruption for it" you said putting a hand on the top. The dark does the same putting it on the other side. Soon and slowly the shard disappears flowing into the air. The trees leave turns from green to pink by the light passing through them. A dead tree slowly comes back to life turning into a beautiful tree. "That's it. That's why Celestia and luna are immortal this shard saved them" you said looking around at the forest. "Guardian!" Twilight said running out of a bush straight towards you along with everyone else. "Where have you been?" Rainbow said flying next to you. "We were worried that you will never return home," Twilight said Home... "I don't belong here," you said making the six look at you and all say "what!" At you. "Look I know that everyone has gotten used to me but... Look at me! I mean I am a being from another system a thing that doesn't belong here" you look away and stare at the forest "I may live here for now but..." You look back at them and clear your throat and take your stance "I will return home but this... This is not my home" you said making it clear for them. They all give an upset look at what you said but they need to know that you don't belong here and that's final. "But that doesn't mean that I won't miss the time here," you said. They look back at you and soon smiles nodding their head, twilight them walk up to you closer and "Well then let go head back to town. You got everypony worried" she said leading the way. The other followed close and chat about something but you don't care. But as you leave you felt something cold tingled down your spine. You look back and... Nothing it's just a beautiful spot to meditate. Your ghost appears next to you looking at you "come on we're falling behind" he said before moving to next Twilight. "Yes," you said turning and following close to the group. Logbook #79 Wow, it's been a while since I used this. Anyway I'm back for three years and well I had a thing like my darkness and light was coming together as one boy it was hard to deal with. But the humming has stopped and my theory is right. A shard of the traveler was here an old one it was the one responsible for the humming but when me and my darkness worked together and put the shard to dust. But I don't know what to do. I don't know when to go home. But I'm a guardian and I will stay strong. //-------------------------------------------------------// One light in a small cave //-------------------------------------------------------// One light in a small cave You sit on your new meditation spot thinking about why a piece of the traveler is here "Could it be due to the red war? Or from the stories?" You say to your ghost who expects the spot where the shard was. "I don't know... It could have been the red legion" he said flying back over to you. Standing back up you look around the beautiful forest and to your surprise, no wild animals have attacked you at all for the last six hours. Now thinking you got all the thing you can get you set a course back to the town. But when you pass Fluttershy's house you hear a giggle making you stop and look around. But hearing the giggle again you sighed pulling out your shotgun and shoot the tree right next to you. "Haha you found me," Discord said slowly forming into his regular self with the shell on his chest. "What do you want?" You asked placing a hand on your helmet. He placed a claw on your shoulder "we're playing hide and seek" he said turning into a rabbit and hopping off into a bush. Ghost appears next to you looking at the bush than at you "Should we find him?" You shake your head and set course to town "how long will he be gone?" Ghost asked you. "I say maybe next week" (=================================) The town was nice and peaceful like always and the best part was that you had something to do. You first head towards the stores to buy some materials to make ammo for your weapons. And next was to buy more paper to write in your logbooks and then finally finish Starswirled the bearded's books. And as you left the library you feel the air behind you and hear flapping wings charging straight towards you. You feel the void flow through so you raise a hand and teleport far behind where you walked and see the cyan pegasus crash into the ground. "Better luck next time," Ghost said You hear Rainbow grunt in frustration flying up and heads to you "next time Guardian" she flies to a cloud but then looks back "NEXT TIME!" It's been getting annoying that she won't stop trying to get your helmet off but hey best five hundred and fifty-two out of none. Seeing your home insight you make your way there but then stop by a guard. "Sir! We have a message from the Princess" he said opening his bag and handing you a letter. You open it and look at the letter Dear Guardian I wrote this letter on some news about your situation to get you home. The way to do it is going to be longer than I thought and but it is at least not impossible. But thought out the time I want you to help my ponies if there is trouble. I want you to be a hero like you did during the invasion be a Guardian like you said in the stories that you told. And to start on an assignment my scouts have found an old rune for you to look at... You stop reading it and just look at the coordinate and surprising it's not far so you fold the paper and head in your home and grab some ammo and head to Twilights home. Knocking on her door you hear her move around trying to find something but hearing you knock she comes to the door. "Oh, Guardian do you-" You lift the letter for her to read and she nods her head "okay let me get a pack ready" she said closing the door and leaving. (=================================) "So why does Celestia want you to check this rune?" Twilight asked following close to you. Ghost looks close at the map but looks back at the pony "we don't know why but it may be important" he said disappearing leaving you and the purple pony be. It was quite an as time passed you think you are getting close, judging by seeing destroyed towers "We must be close... Stay alerted" you said taking out your shotgun. It was extremely quiet as they draw near a weird cave entrance but both of you managed to get in but from landing on the ground it sounds like metal but you don't mind and just help Twilight down. "Well, it looks ancient. But very odd" she said walking to a wall with a lot of bumps on it "very weird- ah" a body falls on the ground right in front of her making you run over to her and point your gun at the body. "Quick back away" you ordered Twilight who gets behind you. Slowly you turn the body over with your gun and expose the body showing "what?" A dreg... A dead fallen body that was shot and killed lying there on the ground right in front of you. Now slowly getting up you still look at the body and say "Ghost... Scan the ship" you said adjusting your grip tightly on your gun handle. Ghost appears and looks at the body and soon glow blue and scans around the area "It's a Skiff a very old one before the house of devils," Ghost said flying over to you, which Twilight was confused about what you're talking about and so she sits back to watch you work on looking around the ship but she does do notes on what you mutter and what ghost said. "Where is the command deck?" You asked ghost, soon a marker was placed only you can see and walk holding your gun close to you "stay close" you muttered moving past the dead body and make your way to the command deck. Seeing the whole skiff destroyed makes you wonder how this happens and why they are here. But most importantly witch house is this, it can't be the house of Devil's since your Ghost said that it's older than that colony so who is this. "What is this?" Twilight said pointing at an odd emblem. It shows the half of a circle and square and triangle but in the middle to be a line with a broken sword. "The command deck is right behind that door" Ghost said making you look away from the house symbol and look at the broken door, as both you and Twilight enter the room to see nine robots looking like dregs dead. "What happened?" Twilight asked "They killed each other," you said picking up a fallen sidearm and look back at the purple pony. Handing her the weapon you walk to the commander chair but see a metal hand on the chair arm making you take out your hand cannon and slowly turn the chair and see the one fallen that you would never see again, Taniks the mercenary the one who murdered thousands of guardians and one of Cayde's friends. "Well well, Taniks the scared," you said Form-looking at Taniks he looks to be an older model looking like a vandal, not a captain. Now thinking about something you raise a hand and your ghost "look around for a ship's logbook or something" you said to your ghost. "Twilight I need you to go to Celestia and tell what we found" Twilight and her head bit look back "uh tell her what?" "That this planet is in danger" Logbook #80 Bad news I just discovered a fallen ship an old one. I sent Twilight to Celestia to let her know that there could be other species to take over the planet. I'll find out who soon but I need to learn about this ship and how they got here but for now I'll keep this posted. Author's Note Finally, I'm back I have not written since after my new book's first chapter and now I'm done with this chapter. Your planet is in danger" you said holding back the rage as the solar Princess doesn't listen to you. "I'm sorry Guardian I wish I can understand but I can't have an army patrol around towns to wait and see these creatures come and attack," Celestia said walking to you and frowning a bit. You walk away and look down at the town, just seeing it make you have a vision of seeing fallen go on a murderous rampage killing thousands of innocent 'I can't let that happen' you thought. Now knowing what you must do you look back at the Princess and walk up to her make the guards sweat a bit "I'll go handle them if they are coming to attack," you said making the main six gasp who was behind you. Celestia thinks for a moment but then slowly nods "You got one month. After the month due, return here and let me know" she said, you bow to her words "as you wish your highness" you said leaving the room. Hearing hoofs steps running makes you look back and see the six with worried looks "Guardian you can't just go like that" Rainbow said "Rainbow is right you must stay darling" Rarity added You look away and ghost appeared "we must go if we don't go this planet will be in danger by the fallen" Ghost said. "I'll come with you and help," Twilight said "Thanks but..." You get a quick flash of the town is under attack by a red creature, but soon it was gone and makes you look back at the unicorn "but you must stay here if anything attacks who knows Changelings or the fallen just all of you be careful" you said summoning your sparrow. You look back at the six ponies is and give them a nod "ill be back next month" you said before you drive off. (=================================) The dark cell gets cold as the night comes making the creature shiver a bit. "What are you doing-" a guard pony was thrown down the stairs with a big blue knife in its left eye. Soon three more guards run holding spears but the one gets thrown to the other crashing into the wall. A metal hand picks up the guard ponies head and slams it to the wall over and over until the walls were stained with blood. The next two were picked up by a metal creature with four arms one being thrown to the wall again and the other has its four legs get pulled off. "W- what are you?" The guard pony said The orange creature says something in a different language before it steps on its head and stomps. The hooded creature watches the two things walk up to his cell. The orange one speaks the language again to the blue one who nods his head "Lord Tirek it's a pleasure to meet you," the blue one said in proper Equestrian. Tirek pulls his hood down to get a closer look at the two "Who are you?" Trek said "Who we are is not important but we seek to give you a job," the blue one said "Heh, what's is that?" Tirek cackled "You take over Equestria by taking every single magic away," he said Tirek slowly begins to laugh but soon gets louder. The orange one breaks the bars and picks up Tirek with one hand "Listen here you pathetic old fool we offer you a chance of freedom and you spit on our faces" he throws Tirek to the ground. "Calm Taniks we still need him," the blue one said to Taniks. Taniks makes a fist and almost hits Tirek in the head "Do we have a deal?" He threats "F-fine" Tirek muttered getting up. Soon both Taniks and the blue one get out of the cells and very soon a portal opens and a grey unicorn mare falls out, blood dribbles out her mouth, and she coughs out some "Here your treat for our partnership" Taniks laughed. Tirek looks at the unicorn and smacks his lips "oh magic it's been so long" he opens his mouth and soon magic on the unicorn goes down the Tireks throat. And soon he gets a tad bit bigger making him look at the two "Where do I start?" (=================================) You stop near a sign that points to different towns you look to the left to see a town very far in the desert it's a small town but it could be a lead. Set to g course you drive your way to the town. Feeling the wind get got makes you think of an old mission on Mars. It was hot very hot and the cabal was planning to attack earth with advanced weapons. You of course prevented that but remembering a hunter... No not now focus on the task you needed to find those two fallen vandals. Coming up to the old town you see ponies with hats on walking minding their business but some stop by seeing you on your vehicle which you get off and look around. Walking to the bar you noticed that some still look at you. everyone does not know who you are still but eh whatever. As walking into the bar you hear the music stop and the ponies look at you as you walk the bar. They muttered as you walk to the bartender and there sits a drunk pony who lifts his head and burps on your face "Uh... No animals allowed in the bar" he said swaying left and right. You say nothing and just sit down on the chair making the drunk pony frown "Hey, wh- who's animal is this," he says looking back at the other ponies who say nothing. He looks back at you and pokes you. Doing nothing you clear your throat "I'm looking for someone," you said to the bartender who rubs a glass with a cloth "Heh everypony is looking for somepony who exactly are you looking for" he chuckled lightly. Your ghost appears and shows an image of a vandal holding a fallen medal. The bartender looks at the image "Hmm looks familiar wait hold one second I think I got something that could help you," he said going to the backroom, feeling the poking from the drunk pony makes you grit your teeth behind your helmet, now not holding it anymore you look at the drink pony and move your hand to the left from his face "You see this?" "Yeah, why-" Just then you use your other hand and punch him right in the snout knocking him out making other ponies go "ohh" as the stallion falls to the ground. Very soon the bartender returns holding the same fallen medal "A thing may be the one your after, gave this to me a long time ago telling me that he was going to Manehattan for important things. I didn't know why I never asked and just only thanked him before he left" the bartender explains as he said the medal to you. Giving it a close look to see it match the symbol on the image making you slid it back to the bartender but only be given back to you "ah keep it you might need to for something. You'll never know" he smiled making you nod your head and toss a bag of bits. "Good day sir," you said leaving the bar. Logbook 81 So I now have a lead on finding the two vandals. It could be Safue the rouge or Beadins the thrive thief. Hope that the other will hold up fine while I'm away... Eh, I do underestimate them sometimes they are the elements of harmony after all so yeah. Anyway, I'm off to a city called manehatton to find them hope to learn if there Is more fallen on this planet cus If so it's in danger or not well who knows. //-------------------------------------------------------// Where can I go? //-------------------------------------------------------// Where can I go? You get off your sparrow and look in the distance to see the city that the bartender was talking about. Like he said it was a really big city and thinking about that makes things harder to find the fallen you needed to act fast. You begin your walk to the city and see some ponies minding their own business and just walk around, you noticed a broken carton on the way and see a Pony muttering something as he tries to fix the cart. You make your move by walking up and clearing your throat "hello sir I see that you are having some trouble with your cart. Mind if I help?" You asked the pony. He sighs and moves back out before he looks up at you "Why that would be nice mister," he said before he looks back at his cart "what's the damage?" You asked. He rubs his snout and spits on the ground "my wheel had fallen off and I manage to put it back on but it won't move" the stallion said looking back up at you. You nod and crouch down and look at the wheel. It's made of wood and some metal but with mostly bolts on it, and speaking of bolts you see one out of its place and it's between the wheel and the cart "I see the problem hang on one second" you lift a hand and charged up some stasis and shoot a tiny ball on the bolt and see it break apart. You then get behind the cart and push them back and see it began to move lightly. "Here you are," you said looking back at the stallion who takes his hat off and give you a thanks "Thank you kindly, sir. Say are you heading to the city too?" He said you nod and he smiles "many I can help repay you by giving you a ride there," he said "Thank you but I don't think you can carry me in a big cart," you said, he just only laughs "Never underestimate an earth pony strength, my friend," he said putting the straps back on and begins to move like it was nothing and him looking back at you. "Well if you insist," you said getting on the cart and see ghost fly out looking around the cart, and begin to scan the area as you make your way to the city. (=================================) As you enter the city you see hundreds of ponies walking around just like the people would in the last city, you thank the stallion and make your way through the city beginning your search. The city is loud but not that loud and ponies had lots of jobs to do it seems to be a very busy day until your tracker blinks a bit "picking up a trail of either and lots of it" ghost said, you nod and look down and see a dried spill of either making a trail to a theater. You make your way into the theater and see a ticket booth there with a pony waiting there. She looks up at you and gasped seeing you "oh my goddess it's you the hero of Canterlot!" The mare then walks out and pulls out a piece of paper and shows a photo of you doing your dark power. "Can you please give me an autograph?" she said and you chucked a bit and pull out a pen and sign it making her shout out and run around. "Well, that was weird" ghost said with you agreeing but you don't mind and continue into the theater. You see lots and lots of ponies walking in holding tickets and heading inside to watch what looks like a drama play story. "Hello uh, sir how can I help you?" A pony employee said walking up, you look down at the pony and adjust your grip, and crouched down "I need to talk to your boss. I'm on an investigation" you said making the pony nod and walk backstage. You then see two of the ponies come back "hello sir I heard you are on an investigation?" "Yes. some aliens have walked through your theater and left a trail but you can't see it with the naked eye" you said The brown stallion looks back at the other pony and back at you and nods "Well alright then you may head backstage but do please not break anything sir" the pony said walking away leaving you to your own. You follow the trail to the backstage of the theater and you can see that trail is leading to the back door. Ghost comes out and flies over to a spill of raw and recent either. "Still raw and dried up let's move to the back of the building," he said disappearing again, you nod and see your objective marker to the backdoor and open it. You see nothing but an empty hallway with garbage all over, ghost comes out again and flies over to the ground and scans "Yep, a trail leads to that wall at the end of the hallway" ghost said flying over back to you. Getting ready to slowly walk up to the wall and put a hand on it and knocking lightly and hear an echo knowing that you found the hollow wall. Charging up you're solar you bring a hand to and quietly begin to burn through the wall. After the way was open you slowly walk in taking out your hand cannon and slowly walk down the stairs. You can tell it's fallen by seeing all of the house symbols and some fallen gun on the ground, but you then stop hearing one of them talk in English "My companion... What should we do? We will get killed if we don't fix this problem *clicking sounds*" this sounds to be a female fallen who sounded a bit scared about something. "Not to worry *clicking* I will save our future," a male fallen said 'Okay time for me to make my move' you thought and then walk out from the corner of the wall and point your hand cannon at the two "Hold it right there," you said making both the fallen look at you and see the horror on their faces. They then speak in their language and they both look back at you and the male walks up "A Guardian? How are you here?" The male vandal said "That doesn't matter! Now tell me who are you and where is your boss?" You ordered "Dead on an old ship of ours," the female dreg said. The male slowly walks up "Guardian... Please put down your weapons we bring you no harm" the male vandal said You look back at the female and noticed that she has some hatchlings on her at least two and they were sleeping and it makes you lower your gun and clear your throat "Okay no more gun now tell me everything that you know on how you got here" Author's Note Yay finally writer's block is gone for this story. *self-high five* Okay thank you for reading this chapter more will be here soon but if you did not see the last book go and read act 1 right now and don't miss anything. She said grabbing one of her hatchlings and hug it a bit. Looking at the hatchlings you hear them cooing and lifting a tiny hand to you and coos a bit Adjusting your grip you nod "we are the protectors of all... What is the problem?" You asked. "Ah so you wanted to help... thank you It's been a long time for us getting help, there is this crime gang they're trying to kill my family they have seen what we've looked like. You may ask why and how we can roam the streets *clicking* ether was once our air. But in this world magic is our tool for salvation" You look at the fallen family and turn to leave and call your ghost over "how are we with ammo?" You asked "Checking... We are at a normal amount that could last long but highly recommend calling in some more weapons" ghost said "Perhaps I can help you with that," the vandal said walking to a wall, he takes out a fallen shotgun and hands it over to you "it all I have *clicking* forgive me, Guardian" "No need... This will do and remember our deal" you said walking out of the building. "Now where to find this gang," you said walking down the street. 'Maybe an authority station' you think as you walk by some more ponies but the only thing to think of is seeing some ponies walk around minding their own business. But then seeing a familiar symbol makes you stop to see a symbol of danger and killers. It is the house of the Devil's symbol bit how did it get here? 'the fallen family could have been House of devils as well' you think "Hey, you know this symbol?" A pony said making you look down at a unicorn, he has some kind of a blue leather jacket and has some blue eyes "well yes I do know this symbol, why is this symbol like this doing out here in the middle of the streets the symbol means Danger and death," you said The pony nods his head " well I did want to warn you cuz I Know Who You Are, you're the hero from Canterlot. But to play honestly some people made this symbol and well we may have seen some monsters I highly suggest you be careful or else locate you too" the pony said "Yeah, I guess you're right but... wait did you say, people?" You look at the pony and slowly put a hand on your gun, but just before anything could happen the pony quickly jumps up and takes out a sidearm and then a fallen dreg with advanced Exo reveal to you. 'Oh no You thought before you quickly make a cover. Ponies begin to run away hearing gunshots and by seeing the fallen dreg "Show me your weapons" the drey orders, you look and see the dreg holding a tiny filly, you gasp, and then calmly stand up and throw down the ace and kicked it away "Okay, no more gun... Think' you then have an idea and hope for the best, as the ice begins to his your body you take a deep breath and sigh and slowly use the dark power and begin to push the dreg back a bit, then soon you break out of the grasp and grab the dregs head 'Thank you Saint-14' you think and headbutt the dreg, making it fall pasted out. Let's find your family" you said walking out of the alleyway and see lots of ponies stand there talking but gasp seeing you and begin to cheer, the filly runs up to a green stallion who picks her up and then hugs her and see another stallion kiss her head, but before they were gone you see her wave making you smile behind your helmet. And so you explain the situation. Now understand one thing this that this world is under a problem that could be the world being destroyed or enslaved or worse. But you will get to the bottom of this if it's one way or the other.
