Twilight Sparkle is a seventeen year old girl born with the ability to levitate items. But magic is illegal for Equestria, so for most of her life, Twilight's powers have been repressed by Queen Celestia's harsh laws and the stifling presence of Tirekian metal.

Yet when Equestria falls prey to an ancient evil lurking below the surface, Queen Celestia calls on Twilight Sparkle and six other outlaws to save the kingdom. Twilight and her group must learn to use their forbidden powers to fight, or die.

As Twilight battles for her life, she finds a light in Luna, a notorious magic user, and begins to embrace her powers. But as the dangers multiply and they are picked off one by one, Twilight and Luna realise that their fate is entwined in a way no one could have imagined: The seven of them were chosen for a reason.

This story is set in an Alternate Universe, basically MLP as humans,not ponies.
