After finding a strange diary, Twilight begins to study dark magic in secret. However, Princess Celestia eventually finds out and forces Twilight to make a choice. Either forget what she knows about dark magic and stay with her, or keep her knowledge and face the punishment. Twilight chooses option C and escape Canterlot as a fugitive.
