Equestrian Radio
Prologue: A new path fordged
Load Full StoryIt was another day in hell as the radio demon was making some of his mother's wonderful Jambalaya for himself, Nifty, Husk, Charlie, Vaggie, And Angel Dust. Now, he hated the restrictions that the princess of the nine circles had set in place. Almost as much as the pornstar's constant sex jokes, and flirting. Being asexual, he always persisted on denying the spider-sinner any advances in such acts, since it reminded him of how his at-the-time wife shot him with a revolver while he was being mauled by wolves who were content with eating him alive. But the more Angel kept coming back, the more Alastor's anger kept rising. As soon as he set the timer for two hours, he heard a familiar sound of a portal opening up behind him, which made him turn around in confusion. "How odd... Might as well deal with this now, before Charlie notices it." He said in his 1930s radio styled voice, before walking into the portal calmly. Now, he was used to using portals since he is a very powerful overlord in hell itself.
Meanwhile in Equestria
Discord was walking over to town to buy Fluttershy's groceries today, which mainly consisted with fruits and vegetables for her animals. And he to loved animals, almost as much as he loved her. The way she sounded, the way she laughs, even her kind nature were all perfect in his eyes. And he wanted to do something special for her, so he decided to do her shopping, as well as buy her a bracelet with 'Kindness Is Key' engraved on it's side. Luckily he knew just about everypony in town, and he even had a few comedy shows with Pinkie that he preformed on weekends. But as soon as he was on his way back to Fluttershy's Cottage... He felt the ground beneath him vibrate violently, while sensing an odd, yet powerful energy coming from the direction he was heading towards. So he used his chaos magic to teleport himself in front of his crush's house to see if he could see what in Tartarus was going on. Only to see a tall red humanoid figure with deer antlers and ears with erie red eyes looking back at him. At first, he assumed it was Chrysalis with some new trick of hers. But her magic was more violent than this creature's. This thing's energy was calm, yet possibly just as powerful as his own. But then, just as Discord was about to move, the creature spoke.
"Hello there fellow, my name is Alastor. The radio demon. And you are?"
The creature's voice sounded static-like, as if it's voice was trapped within a radio of some sort. Which made Discord a little nervous on what he could say. But his confusion was more drawn to the distorted, yet oddly relaxing voice it had. But since this thing was polite enough for an introduction,
"My name is Discord... What in Equestria are you Alastor?" The draconequus ask the 'radio demon' out of confusion, he'd usually have the ability to read biological information on living creatures. Giving him instant knowledge of who, or what, he was speaking to. He always had this ability since he was small. Today however, he had no clue if Alastor was friend or foe. And to make matters worse, he even saw a star in the center of a circle behind his possible adversary.
"A demon my friend, a sinner to be specific." Alastor said as he secretly inspected the world around him, seeing exactly where the portal of Oddity II had taken him. He saw what seemed to be the living realm, but with a few changes he never had noticed before. More green, less people, and then Discord himself. Who, as Alastor felt, was rich with power.
Discord was not sure what to do. On one hand, Alastor showed no sign of aggression. But on the other, neither did Tirek until it was to late. So he wanted the radio demon to prove what his intentions really were in Equestria. "A sinner? The fluff does that mean? Pardon my language." Discord said with a little more confusion, only to tone his frustration down. He still wanted to know more about Alastor, but he now had a feeling that the radio demon was evaluating him.
"I used to be a living creature, but I died. And I got sent to hell, the eternal pit of suffering." Alastor explained with pure honesty, and using his hell magic to summon his own microphone into his right hand. "There is no undoing what is done down there, but I am pleased to announce that I have come here to find some entertainment." He lied, trying to make sure that his possible sucker could be easily tricked into helping him for his own personal gain.
"I see... It almost sounds like Tartarus, our own eternal pit of suffering. But only with more of it's evil occupants escaping to wreak havoc on all of Equestria, and... Let's just say one of them tricked me into betraying those close to me." Discord said as the memory of Tirek's betrayal came back, pissing him off. "I will not allow myself to be deceived ever again, so I will warn you now Alastor. I won't let you hurt anypony here, you son of a diamond dog."
"My friend, if I wanted to hurt anyone here... I would have done so already." Alastor said as his smile turned into one twisted and demonic, threatening the Draconequus with every fiber of hell-magic that he had.
Discord stumbled back in fear for a second time in his life, worried about what Alastor was capable of. But as much as he's curious on what the radio demon wants, he had a feeling at the back of his head that it wasn't going to be good. But he ignored it, and stood back up. Deciding to push his newly found fear aside to help his new companion, until he gave the Draconequus a reason to attack.
Author's Note
Yes, an obvious Hazbin Hotel crossover. And I just went with Alastor, since he and Discord have a few things in common.
But if you'd like to see more of this story, please let me know. Since I've been meaning to make a crossover fanfic on here for about a week now.
