Spike was very tired and cranky he just finished taking down the decorations for Hearts and Hooves Day, it was exhausting but he got it done and now he felt very cranky.

“Hey Spike are you feeling okay?” Starlight asked, Spike did brighten up a bit by her presence ever since they got together he was happier than ever.

“A bit cranky I just finished taking down all of the decorations and now I’m a bit tired.” Spike confessed while laying down on his bed that he and Starlight shared.

“Oh well can I cuddle with you, it might make you feel better.” Starlight suggests.

“Sure why not? I love you so it might be helpful.” Spike said.

Starlight and Spike embraces each other and Spike sink deep in his marefriend’s embrace it was soft and warm and it made him feel so relaxed, Starlight also felt happy in this embrace too since dragons have heated bodies his embrace was naturally warm.

“Hey Starlight can we stay like this for a while?” Spike asked happily.

“Of course we can Spike, of course we can.” Starlight said.

Author's Note

No sex today and it really is a metaphor on what these two are like to me, every MLP relationship somewhat feels like it’s a way for them to get laid or have sex while the partners would both love each other it feels like they’d mostly enjoy having sex, but Starlight and Spike feel more connected on an emotional level and not a sexual level to me. That’s one of the reasons why I love this pairing a lot.
