"SPIKE!" CRASH! "Spike?" "I'm okay. It's just a scratch." He replies running down the stairs tripping down the last few steps. Twilight sighs."Spike, don't you remember what today is?" "Uh, should I?" "Of course you should why wouldn't you? It's your eighteenth birthday today." "You're right, I almost forgot. Thanks, Twi..."Before Spike could finish his sentence a green flame shoots out of his mouth revealing a scroll."Twilight, It's a message from the Princess." "Ooh.. What does it say?" A voice says excitedly from behind both Twilight and Spike. They both jump as the Pink mare pops up inbetween them. "Pinkie Pie, how did you get in here?" Twilight asks as the Pink mare begins jumping around the dazed and confused dragon. "Easy, I just opened the front door silly." "Strange, I told Spike to lock it last night after he got home from Sweet Apple Acres. You did lock it last night didn't you?" Twilight asks the purple and green dragon now covered in confetti by the Pink mare. "Sorry Twilight I must have forgotten. Anyways, lets see what the Princess's letter says. Uh, Twilight? I think that you should read this." Twilight walks over to Spike slowly not sure she wants to know what the letter says. Spike never acts this strange when we recieve a letter from the Princess. I wonder what's bothering him? When she reaches Spike she reads the letter carefully unaware of the four figures stepping out from the shadows behind her.As Spike tries to stifle a laugh at what is going to happen Twilight is about to ask him what's so funny when the four figures yell "SUPRISE!" The four mares yell at the same time startling Twilight. As Twilight slowly turns around they can see that she has a worried look on her face.Their expressions quickly turn from happy to worried. With the exception of Pinkie Pie of course. "T-twilight, did we really startle you that much?" "No, it's not that it's just that we all have to report to Canterlot immediately. They all shoot saddened looks over to their dragon friend. "Don't worry guys. We can celebrate my eighteenth birthday tomorrow." As the the six mares gallop off to the train station Spike sighs to himself. Maybe the Cutie Mark Crusaders have something to do. As Spike walks out of the library he doesn't seem to notice the blue unicorn watching him from the balcony. They wont see a thing coming... My fake letter from Celestia actually fooled them! I can't believe how they can be such Idiots! Now while Twilight Sparkle is gone in Canterlot I will take the one thing that she holds dear and near to her heart. Her 'Number one assistant' Spike the dragon. The great and powerful Trixie shall have her revenge! As Spike gets closer to the CMC clubhouse he hears some rustling in the bushes next to him. "Hello? Is anypony there? I guess not, I must be losing my mind." "Actually, you are about to lose quite the opposite."A familiar voice says from the bushes. Spike quickly turns around just in time to see Trixie walk out from behind the bushes with her horn glowing softly. What?! how did she know I was here? How did she know the girls would be out of town? "Trixie, what the buck are you doing here?" Trixie smiles deviously at Spike. She breathes in his scent. She can smell his fear. She doesn't know how to explain it, but ever since the first encounter with Twilight she has been able to smell other pony's fear. She loves the smell of their fear. It makes her feel ...powerful "Oh, you know just the regular stuff. Taking care of some 'Unfinished' business in Ponyville." What could she mean by unfinshed business? I really wish Princess Celestia hadn't sent me that letter. I guess she's not herself. She didn't even use the Celestia Seal of Approval. Spike realizes that Trixie had sent him the letter. This was all part of her twisted, wicked plan. Probably for what happened last time they met.As Spike opens up his mouth to yell for help Trixie seizes the oppurtunity to shoot Spike with a bolt of focused energy. "Hey, Scootaloo what are you doing up there?" Sweetie Belle asks the orange pegasi from the ground floor. "Nothin' much. I saw Twilight and her friends leave the library a few hours ago and now I see Spike walking towards the club.." But befor Scootaloo can finish her sentence they hear a scream coming from the front of the clubhouse. When they look to see who it is they see Spike on the ground bleeding from his side and Trixie standing over him with a demonic look in her eyes. Apple Bloom is the first one to react to the scene unfolding in front of them. "Somepony, anypony, HELP!" When they look back up Trixie is gone but Spike is still on the ground unconscious from the bolt of energy.They all rush foward along with some other pony's who heard the commotion from the main road. Among those in the crown of gatherers is a blue unicorn slowly walking away from the scene. //-------------------------------------------------------// Hospital //-------------------------------------------------------// Hospital Is he going to live doctor? We can't know for sure. But what we do know is that unless we get him out of this coma he not make it. In Spike's mind he can hear everyone around him in the hospital bed. But he can't talk or speak or even open his eyes. He could hear Twilight, Fluttershy, Rarity, and Pinkie crying. He didn't hear Rainbowdash or Applejack's voice's. But he knew that they were there to. He also heard that the CMC saw the whole thing happen. He had guessed they were in the waiting room with others. He did't want any of his friends worry about him. He didn't even want think about how Twilight would react. He knew that he had to fight the darkness that was slowly closing in around him. As the darkness slowly engulfed him, his last thought were about the mare he met a few weeks prior. It was enough to set a spark alive. Not very bright but bright enough to keep him alive. "What do Y'all mean by you 'don't know fer sure?" Applejack asks the doctor. "What we mean is that we don't know if he will make it. But when we got to him the three girls that were there gave us a notebook. They said that when he lost consciousness this came out of his mouth. To this moment I am still trying to figure out how he got it into his mouth in the first place."The doctor says with a confused look on his face."I will leave you alone so you can try to decipher it. Good Luck."He said before ducking out of the room. "Who does that doctor think he is anyway? If it were me I would walk up to whoever did this to Spike and buck them up."Rainbowdash says taking a boxing stance while punching the air in front of her."Ow! Hey, what was that for Rarity?" "Rainbowdash darling, you must simply watch you language. It's just simply uncouth of a lady to be using such fowl language."Rarity says wiping tears from her face. "And i'm worried about being a lady why?"Rainbowdash said with an annoyed look on her face rubbing the back of her head wondering what just hit her. "Because, we need to find out what can save my Spikey-Wikey."Her voice cracking at the mention of Spike. Reminding her of what condition he's currently in. "Girls, We should each take a look at the notebook i'll look first."Twilight says still crying carefull not to get any tears on the notebook. Entry #1 I've started writing this journal for a reason. I have realized that since I am too young for Rarity I  would try my best to move on. I thought that this journal would help me with that. I don't know how but I just do. I just hope Twilight or the others never find this. Espescially Rarity. Entry #2 I can't believe it! It's almost my 18th birthday!! I can't wait. I know it's a entire month away, but just thinking about it makes me excited! I think I will ask ... out that day. I hope she says yes. I am crossing out her name so if anyone finds this they wont tell her how I feel about her . Entry #3 I saw... today she was looking more beautiful than ever. I don't know how much longer I can stand seeing her everyday. I don't know how I haven't broken down and told... how I feel about her. I guess I will just have to wait for my birthday. I have already started asking about gifts, but remembering what happened the first year here I think i'll stop asking them.I think that they will be glad that I do. Entry #4 I can't believe it! Last night I went to sleep ,no wings. This morning when I get up , fully grown wings!! I just can't help but feel Scootaloo staring at me whenever I visit them. I think until she learns how to fly i'll stick to walking on the ground. Entry #5 I just heard great news. The CMC just earned their Cutie Marks!! I'm so happy for them. I asked them what will they call themselves now. They just said that they think that they will stay the CutieMarkCrusaders for awhile. I also saw... today it made me smile to see how happy she was talking to her friends. I think I should stop now Scootaloo is looking at me funny. I think she's wondering why I am writing into my hand. Entry #6 I passed by Sweet Apple Acres this afternoon. Applejack was suprised to see that I had grown over night. Not by much but I still had grown a little bit. I asked her if their were any positions open. She said that she could use some help with the apple bucking. Said I could start tomorrow. Can't wait. Entry #7 I started work today. Wow, it feels weird saying that. I never realized how strong I was until I nearly ripped a tree out of the ground. I also saw Applejack looking at me strangely. Has she found out? How could she have. I haven't told anypony about my feelings for... Twilight couldn't take anymore she let the notebook fall to the floor and started sobbing uncontrollably onto the hospital bed that Spike was laying on. She continued to sob even after the other's had read the first page of the notebook. No one even noticed the three 17 year old girls crying in the doorway. They felt so sorry for Twilight. They knew that she was closest to Spike. They just hoped that he would get better soon. If he didn't they don't even want to think about what would happen to Twilight and the others. Just thinking about Spike passing away made them cry, giving away their position outside the door. As the three were consoled by the mare's in room 110 they couldn't help but cry themselves. They never even noticed the slip of paper hidden inside the notebook at the very back. They didn't even notice the picture of the mare he loved so much. They didn't even notice as the picture faded away. Taken by a blue aura from the pony that had done all this to Spike.Trixie... //-------------------------------------------------------// The Hunt Begins //-------------------------------------------------------// The Hunt Begins Twilight opens her eyes slowly. Memories of the previous night fill her mind. She tries the best to hold back the tears,but its no use. She looks around room 110 and notices that her friends aren't there anymore. Not even the CMC were there. Although they were the one's who saw it all happen from their clubhouse. They still hadn't said anything to her or anypony else for that matter. Twilight decided to go looking for her friends. She needed to talk to them. She takes one look back at the dragon in the hospital bed behind her."I'm so sorry Spike."Her voice cracking slightly as she exited the room tears rolling down her cheeks. 'I told ya already! We should just leave 'er be. She was the one that hatched the little feller'" "I know but shouldn't we at least tell her the news. She deserves to know." She could just make out the voices of her friends arguing. She moved in closer to hear what they were arguing about. "Ah' know, but ah just don't wanna see 'er get hurt anymore." " Then what should we tell her? That he's going to be fine? That he's going to live? You're the element of honesty. You should know better than to lie." "Like ah' said ah' don't wanna see her hurtin' anymore than she already is." "We should just tell her that he's not going to make it. We should atleast break it to her while he's still alive. It's better to tell her than to let her find out by herself. Rarity, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie have already gone home. Now it's only me, you, Scootaloo, and Applebloom, and they haven't even said a word since yesterday!" Twilight couldn't believe what she was hearing. Spike was going to die, and they didn't even wake her up to tell her? I can't believe that they don't trust me enough to tell me he's going to die. I thought they were my friends. She starts crying outside the room that they are in. She tries to stop herself, afraid of being caugth eavesdropping on their conversation, but she can't hold back any longer. "Hey, AppleJack?" "Yeah, Rainbow?" "Do you hear somepony crying?" "Yeah, I can hear it. I-I think it's coming from the doorway." When AppleJack and RainbowDash got closer to the door they noticed that the pony that was crying was Twilight. She had heard them saying that Spike wouldn't make it out of his coma. "We're sorry Twilight, we were going to tell you eventually. We both know that unless we find a way to get him to come out of his coma we won't be able to save him." "Ah'm awfully sorry Twilight. But they can't find a way to save 'im in time." "If it makes you feel any better. I'll let you be the first one to buck up the person who did this to Spike." Overhearing AppleJack and RainbowDash's conversation Apple Bloom and Scootaloo decided to tell them what they saw happen to Spike. They thought that if they told them that it would help them find Trixie and locking her up for a long time. That is after they bucked her up pretty good. Scootaloo and Apple Bloom sigh at the same time. "Well, here we go." "Yep, here we go." "AppleJack, RainbowDash, Twilight?" The two girls say simultaneously "What is it Apple Bloom? Can't you see that Twilight is hurtin' right now?" Apple Bloom and Scootaloo look at each other nervously and swallow hard. "We know who did this to Spike." They say simultaneously. "WHAT!" Twilight screams, startling her friends that were consoling her. "Who, WHO did this to Spike?!" Twilight frantically said shaking Apple Bloom and Scootaloo violently. "Tttrrriiixxxeee..." Apple Bloom replies still being shaken by Twilight who doesn't seem to notice that she is still shaking them. When she hears that name she suddenly stops shaking them and developes a murderous look in her eyes. "Uh... Twilight? Are you okay?" AppleJack asks pulling her sister away from the purple unicorn slowly. "I like this new Twilight!" RainbowDash responds proudly. With Scootaloo behind her. "I have a plan for you Trixie." Twilight says with a devilish grin forming on her lips. But what she didn't know is that the blue unicorn had already planned for something like this to happen. What she didn't plan for was it happening before Spike died. She had no idea what she had just gotten herself into. But it was too late for her to turn herself in. She had already left the hospital as soon as everypony had fallen asleep. She was silently waiting in her temporary hotel room on the outskirts of Manehatten. She knew that it would take awhile for them to track her down. Even with Twilight's expert knowledge of magic. "RainbowDash?" "Yes Twilight?" "Will you please go get the others for me." "Sure." "Oh, and one more thing." "Yes?" "Make sure that Rarity brings Sweetie Bell. We might need her skills to help us track down Trixie." "On it!" Rainbow Dash says enthusiastically running out of the hospital taking flight heading for Rarity's. //-------------------------------------------------------// Finding Trixie //-------------------------------------------------------// Finding Trixie Trixie smiled to herself knowing that once Spike had died Twilight would fall into a deep depression. Perhaps even the Rarity would fall into a depression causing her shop to be shut down for good. Her plan seemed to be working out better than she had hoped it would. She was thinking of what to do next when she heard a loud knock at the door. She was too happy to realize she was walking into a trap set by the 'new' Twilight Sparkle and her friends along with the help of the former Cutie Mark Crusaders. "Coming..." She said cheerfully to herself as she half-pranced to the door. When she opened the door she couldn't help but stare in horror at the group of ponies standing there.  They had been searching for two entire days just to find her in Manehatten. Luckily she was never very good at cleaning up her trail, or for that matter removing her name on her door. As she started to turn around everything seemed to move in slow motion. When she felt the bottom of AppleJack's hooves on her face she blacked out from the pain. When Trixie came to she saw that she was in a darkened room tied to a chair. As the memories of the past hour flooded her mind she saw Twilight walk out from the darkness followed by her friends and the former Cutie Mark Crusaders. A smile slowly formed on Trixie's face before Twilight slapped her hoof across her face. "Why would you do something like that to Spike?!" She screamed in Trixie's face. "Boo-hoo, Poor Twilight Sparkle afraid of loosing her 'number one assistant'?" Trixie said with a sneer. Another slap came across her face but this time it wasn't from Twilight. It was from Rarity. "You MONSTER! How could you harm such an innocent creature?! Did you ever think what it would do to other pony's feelings?! Pony's like you make me sick!" Rarity spat at Trixie whose smile was growing bigger and bigger each second. "Well of course I thought how it would affect other pony's. I just didn't expect it to affect you like this. After all you didn't have feelings for him like he had for you, did you?"Trixie says with a even bigger grin than Pinkie's "W-what do you mean? Twilight, what is she talking about?" Rarity asked confused. "Oh, you didn't know? Ever since he's arrived here in Ponyville he's had a huge crush on you. But I guess that doesn't even matter now that he's going to die!" Trixie snaps at Rarity causing Rarity to flinch at the sudden outburst of anger. It takes a moment for Rartiy to take in what Trixie was saying. When her mind does register it she runs out of the room crying. As if on cue Sweetie Bell steps up and slaps Trixie across her face drawing blood. "How could you be so cruel?! Last time you were here you weren't like this! What happened to you?" "What happened?What happened?! She is what happened!" Trixie yells doing her best to point at Twilight Sparkle. "She humiliated me in front of everypony in Ponyville, but if it weren't for her I would have never found 'it'." Trixie then realizes that she had said too much, but it was to late for her to stop. "Found what?" Twilight asks curiously. "What did you 'find' after you left Ponyville?" Damn! Why did I have to say that now? I can't tell her that I found the Element of Revenge. As fun as that would be, I can't let them take the necklace away from me. I must keep it hidden somehow. "What ever do you mean? I found nothing after I left Ponyville. Just miles and miles of empty fields." Trixie says avoiding eye contact with all of them. "Even if I did find 'something', why would you care?" Trixie played dumb "Is it a crime for me to be interested? By the way that you talked about 'it', it seems like you worship whatever this 'thing' is."Twilight replies. "Even if you did get me to tell you what I found. Even though I didn't find anything. How would you know what it looks like?" "I wouldn't, but I could easily just take it by force. I could look into your memories and find where you hid 'it'." At those words Trixie knew there was no point in lying any longer. "All right, i'll tell you." Trixie says quietly. Right when she starts to open her mouth, her eyes turn completely black. Dark tenrils start to come from her eyes. Her voice then changes into a more demonic voice that wasn't Trixie. "Element of Magic, you and your 'friends' will never be able to stop what is coming ahead. Your friend Spike will never recover. You won't even be able to save this useless mare Trixie. There is nothing you can do to stop me. When the dragon dies I will be able to manifest myself in any living and non-living creature." The demonic voice growls making the girls jump. "W-who are you? What do you want?" Twilight asks the Demonic voice.The fear in her voice obviously showing, "Element of Magic, I am suprised that you don't recognize me. For I am the Element of Revenge. After the original Elements of Harmony defeated me and my siblings. We were cast into oblivion. Never to escape from our endless prison's. As for your second question. I simply want to destroy Equestria and mold it into my own image. After that I will free the other Elements that are trapped here with me.Since you have destroyed 'Envy' and 'Chaos' only a few of us remain here." The color returns back to Trixie's eyes and she looks up slowly and says "Help..me.." Before blacking out. Trixie slowly opens her eyes to see a blinding bright light above her. She tries to remeber how she got here but can't seem to pull that memory from her mind. Where am I? She slowly turns her head to look around, she suddenly feels a stabbing pain in the back of her neck. She then remember's the horrible necklace that latched itself on to her. She looks around the room and spots Twilight at the window staring out at the sunrise. "T-twilight?" She says suddenly noticing how dry her throat had become since she found the necklace. "Trixie? Good, your awake. I have some questions to ask you. Where did you get that necklace from?" Twilight says motioning to the piece of jewelry on her neck. "I...I had found it after I left Ponyville a few years ago. At first I paid no attention to it but as I got closer something seemed to be drawing me to it. When I was standing over the necklace I felt an evil presence wash over me. I then fainted. When I came to, it was night-time. I looked at my neck and stared in horror as I saw the necklace. I saw a evil aura on the necklace. I tried to take it off but it wouldn't come off. I had gotten so tired from trying to take it off, that I had fallen asleep where I was." She says as her lips begin to quiver with the painful memory. "When I fell asleep I had a dream. A horrible dream. All of Equestria was in ruins. From Canterlot to Las Pegasus. All gone. I saw a lone figure standing in what used to be Ponyville. It was me, I had this look of pure evil on my face. I could also see dark figures around me. They looked like pony's but I couldn't see there faces." "Trixie is this...true? Did you really go through that horror?" "Yes, I did. I then lost myself to 'Revenge'. He took over my body. Forcing me to devise a plan to get back at you for what you did to me that night. I didn't want to hurt Spike. I wouldn't have ever hurt anyone like that. I-I'm sorry Twilight Sparkle." "It's okay Trixie. It wasn't your fault. I just wish that we could have done more to save him." Twilight says sadly tears forming in her eyes. She starts sobbing quietly to herself. Seeing that she was going through a rough time Trixie puts her hoof on Twilight's shoulder. Twilight stops crying and looks at Trixie. A smile slowly forming across her lips. "Trixie?" "Yes, Twilight?" "I'm going to need your help." //-------------------------------------------------------// The Search Begins //-------------------------------------------------------// The Search Begins Entry #8 Every day gets closer to my eight-teenth birthday. I already have it planned what I am going to say to her. Even though Twilight already wrote mose of the invitations. I wrote one more especially for her. I can't believe how beautiful she is. I know that I keep writing that, but I just can't get her out of my head. Everything seems perfect about her. Her smile, her laugh, her dark purple coat, scarlet red mane, and her dark purple eyes. If she says yes I don't know where I will go from there. Entry #9 Getting more nervous by the minute. She came over to the library today to check out a book on music. Her and vinyl seem to get along pretty well. I don't know about her and Octavia though. I think I will ask them about her today. I just hope that they won't catch on. As Twilight read the next two passages she turned to her friends and told them what kind of mare they were looking for. For some odd reason the former Cutie Mark Crusaders looked more sad then when Spike went into the coma. Trixie still wouldn't be out of the hospital for atleast a week. The memmories from the night before came back. FlashBack "Trixie, before we head off we need to get this necklace off of you, or destroy or do something to it!" "Umm... I really don't think that's a good idea Twilight. What if destroying the necklace just makes 'Revenge' manifest himself faster?" "We are just going to have to take a risk Trixie,but don't worry i'll be here the entire time. I would never let this 'thing' take over one of my friends." Twilight replied back with a warm smile. "O-okay, I think I am ready." As Twilight focused all of her magic onto the necklace Trixie screamed and writhed in agony. Twilight tried the best to keep the screams from reaching her ears but it didn't work. She slowly began to break down. She couldn't stand to see anypony, friend or enemy, in this much agony. When Twilight stopped the attacks on the necklace she noticed that the necklace was destroyed, and Trixie seemed to be more relaxed and looked more peaceful. One could even say that she looked cute. Wait? Did I just think that? N-no I couldn't have. Trixie's just a friend to me. Right? Ugh... focus Twilight. You need to focus on saving Spike. "There has to be something in here! For a pony who lives in a library I can't find a simple book on reversing spells." Twilight sighs heavily. "I just hope that we aren't to late to save him." Just when Twilight was about to give up in pure frustration. Fluttershy burst through the oak door's crying. "Fluttershy, what's wrong? Did something happen?" "I-It's...S-Spike" She continued to sob loudly. When Twilight heard those words coming from Fluttershy's mouth, her heart sank. Her first thought was that he had died already, but when she arrive at the hospital she just stared in pure horror. As her eyes widened in horror at the dragon in the hospital bed she couldn't believe her eyes. He was surrounded by a black auro and black tendrils seemed to emit off of his body. It was the same thing that had happened to Trixie. Twilight was still staring in fear when the next thing that she heard jolted her back to reality. Spike had begun to speak. "Ah, Element of Magic, we meet again. Since you have destroyed the necklace that bound me to Trixie I have been able to roam around freely, and take full control of everything."Revenge snickered. He then tossed the hospital blankets aside and stood up. His eyes were a deep purple color that had the same tendrils coming off them as Trixie's did. "S-Spike?"Twilight and the others ask while trying to hold back the tear's. "Spike?SPIKE?! Spike isn't here anymore. He's long gone. He's dead." He said glaring at Twilight. Just as soon as he finished saying that there was a flash of piercing light. When the light around them faded, Spike's body was gone and so was 'Revenge'. Twilight spent the next few hours in room #110 sobbing on Spike's hospital bed. The other's decided that they should leave her alone and search for the unicorn mare with the scarlet red mane, deep purple eyes, and deep purple coat. As soon as they had left the hospital a unicorn stepped from the shadow's and frowned. She didn't frown for their loss, or their friend. She frowned because they were talking about her. As she decided to exit the hospital a voice called for her over the intercom. ~~Ms.Starshine report to ICU immediately.~~ She sighed heavily to herself. Looks like saving their friend would have to wait until another time. Perhaps when she got off from work she could hunt them down and tell them. She slowly trotted to ICU. Her head down as tear's rolled down her cheeks. Her adoptive parents would be worried for her if she didn't finish early tonight. She could just imagine Octavia and Vinyl yelling at her, telling her how worried they were when she didn't show up for dinner. She smiled to herself and chuckled softly. The thought of her two mothers brought tears to her eyes. Before she knew it she was in ICU taking care of an injured blue unicorn by the name of Trixie. What a beautiful name she thought. Her smile quickly turned into a frown. To bad she didn't make it through surgery. She would have loved to meet her. //-------------------------------------------------------// Darkness Part 1 //-------------------------------------------------------// Darkness Part 1 He tried to fight the darkness as best as he could, but his strength was slowly melting away. He was sure that he was as good as dead, when he heard a familiar voice speaking to him. "T-Trixie? Is that you?" He turned around slowly. What he saw in front of him shocked his every scale. In front of him was a disheveled pony with tear's streaming down her face. "Spike, I'm so sorry Spike. I never meant to hurt you. I just wanted to be friends." And with that she disappeared. "Wait! Trixie!" He screamed. Even though she had hurt him, he didn't want to be left alone in this dark place. I give up. What use is there fighting if there's nothing worth fighting for? His eyes snapped open. He swore he heard Pinkie's party music. But that can't be. How can she be here? As slowly approached the party music he recognized it. It was Pinkie's party music, but it sounded slower than it usually was. It also seemed to drain the happiness right out of him. When he saw the Pink party mare he couldn't help buy smile. As he got closer to her, he noticed that she looked different thatn usual. "Pinkie? A-Are you alright?" Spike asked slowing down a bit. All of the music seemed to stop playing and Pinkie just turned around and looked at him with an evil grin. Her hair was flattened, so that kind of scared him. Last time it was that flat was when Discord attacked Ponyville. "My name isn't Pinkie anymore. My name is Pinkamena Diane Pie." She slowly grinned even more. By that time Spike knew that this wasn't the normal Pinkie. He was afraid to ask but he knew he had to. He had to do it for the sake of Twilight and the other's. "What are you?" "What am I? What am I?! I am simply 'Pinkie's alternate reality self'"She smiled happily to herself waving a bloody butcher knife around. Spike just froze in his tracks. He hadn't noticed the bloody knife before. He also didn't notice her bloody apron before, or the fact that there were multiple dead pony's around her. Some just barely alive. He couldn't contain a gasp when he saw the lifeless body of Rainbow dash behind her on the 'operating table'. "H-How could this have happened? Where is the fun and happy earth pony that I used to know?" "Oh, that thing? Well the fun and loveable earth pony is now a murderous and psychotic killer. Who bakes her victims into her cupcakes, and sells them to other pony's." She started to cackle. Once she started she never stopped. Spike couldn't take it anymore. He fell to the ground covering his ears in pain. "S-Stop it! Make it go away!" He kept repeating over and over again. The laughter never stopped. Huh? Must have blacked out. He slowly open his eyes to reveal the Carousel Boutique. But instead if it's normal glory. It looked considerably different. The window's were boarded up. The door was boarded shut, and even the cat door was nailed shut. This can't be good He thought to himself as he started making his way towards the door. Strangely enough the door was open despite all the boards preventing it from opening. He knocked. Knock,Knock,Knock He didn't understand why he knocked but it just felt right. He could just barely make out the faint sound of rapid breathing coming from the bathroom. Shortly after it was followed by some rather loud sobbing. He couldn't tell who was making what noise, but he had a hunch that Rarity and Sweetie Belle were behind this door. He didn't bother knocking this time. He just opened the door and nearly fainted from what he was seeing. Sweetie Belle was hanging by a rope upside down over the bathtub. While Rarity gutted her little sister multiple times muttering something about an order she has to finish. He saw the look on Sweetie Belle's face. What shocked him was that she seemed to be enjoying being gutted repeatedly. The bathtub had already overflowed and guts and other organs, along with fluids, were pouring out into the hallway. Spike couldn't hold it in any longer. He got sick right there and nearly hit Rarity with his spew. It seems Rarity had noticed he was in the bathroom and slowly turned around, revealing the gutting instrument to be a sharpened pair of scissors. "Look who decided to drop in Sweetie. Isn't that nice?" Rarity said with a hoarse voice that shook him to the bone. "Rarity, what are you doing to Sweetie Belle?"He asked, scared of what the answer might be. "Well, isn't it obvious? She said she was too fat. So, she asked me to help her lose some weight, and being the great sister I am, I told her I would do whatever it takes to help her."She said a wide grin forming, revealing blackened and crooked teeth. "Why would she want to lose weight? She looks fine the way she is." Why am I acting so calm in a situation like this? Is the darkness, or whatever it is, finally getting to me? "Oh, but there is one for all of this dragon boy."Seetie said almost seductively. Which suprised him a bit. "W-What, is that reason? If I may ask." "The reason is because I like you Spike. I like everything about you. Your scales, your muscles, and your eyes." Sweetie said slightly drooling. Is this what Sweetie actually thinks of me? He thought to himself. Without realizing it something had crawled out of the gore filled bathtub and was making it's way towards him. When he saw what was happening he quickly turned towards the doorway to escape only to find five more bloodied figures surrounding him. He was filled with fear, and dread once again. Everything went black. //-------------------------------------------------------// The Search Ends //-------------------------------------------------------// The Search Ends Twilight was already sad enough as it is. She didn't need to hear the news that Trixie didn't make it through surgery. When Twilight had destroyed that necklace, what had Twilight been feeling for her. N-No, It couldn't be. But what if I did? Would she have felt the same way about me? She sighs heavily walking towards the morgue to pay her last respects. As she enters the morgue she notices a few other ponies in there. When they see her they frown and leave. They all leave except for one mare with a sparkly cutie mark. Seeing the state that she was in. She was almost as bad as Twilight at the time. Twilight decided to console her. The mare didnt seem to see Twilight walking over to her with a warm, friendly smile on her face. She jolted upright when she felt a hoof on her shoulder. When the mare looked up at her with tear's in her eyes something she had forgotten revealed itself to her. Scarlet red mane, Dark purple coat, Dark purple eyes. Twilight nearly fainted when she realized who was in front of her. she was the mare that Spike had fallen in love with. The mare seemed to notice something strange anout Twilight and asked if she was alright. "I-I'm fine, just a minor headache nothing really." She answered grinning. "Are you sure? 'Cause I can easily get you some pain killers. It wouldn't be that big of a problem." "Yes i'm sure."Twilight said I can see what Spike see's in her "Can I ask you a question miss...?" "Starshine, Starshine Sparkle." The nurse unicorn replied. "And yes, you can ask me a question." "D-Do you know a dragon named Spike?"Twilight asked sheepishly. Starshine gasped. This was the unicorn who hatched Spike?! She needed to help her in anyway she could. She needed to get Spike back again. "Y-Your Twilight Sparkle?" Starshine asks Twilight. "Yes I am, but how did you know?" Twilight asked confused "I heard your friends talk about me when they said they were going to search for the one who could save Spike. Me and Spike had been friends for a month now. If I knew he shared the same feelings for me as I shared for him. I would have asked him out weeks ago." Starshine said sadly. Tear's coming back to her eyes again. As Starshine told Twilight of how she and Spike had met, Due to Spike's new wings he ended in her office more than once. They had just been making small talk when her coltfriend had broken up with her. He saw how sad she was and comforted her as best as he could. After that ehy had quickly become friends. They started hanging out more, outside of the hospital, and he even introduced them to the Cutie Mark Crusaders. One day when all of them were talking about their parents and their family. She seemed distant. After their friends left, he asked what was wrong. Why she didn't want to mention her family. She had told him that her parents died when she was very young. She had just recently been adopted by the mare's Octavia and Vinyl. Which suprised Spike alot. He then told her that even when the odd's are against you he would always be there for her. That was the moment she realized she loved him. She had blushed slightly. Which had made him blush also. She actually hadn't found out that he was in the hospital until recently. "And that's how me and Spike met." She sighed. "I just wish I could have spent more time with him." "Well, Starshine. I believe today is your lucky day. We are going to save Spike." Twilight said with a smile on her face. Starshine suddenly perked up and smiled brightly at Twilight."Really? But how will we save him? We don't even know where he is!" "That isn't a problem. I know where he is. Or where he would go at a time like this." "Where would he go?" "The only place you two really bonded. The Cutie Mark Crusaders club house." Twilight said happily. With a slight nod of her head Twilght and Starshine started galloping towards the clubhouse. They were going to try to save Spike...No, they are going to save Spike. Twilight looked over at Starshine. She looked like she was determined and ready to take on whatever faced her. Twilight was glad to have her by her side. Otherwise she wouldn't have been able to do this. They just need to pick the girls up on their way to the CMC clubhouse. Something big was coming... A/N: sorry for the short chapter. I kind of ran out of ideas for this one, and I know some of you are probably wondering why didn't Twilight pay her respects to Trixie? Because saving Spike was more important to her than saying goodbye one last time. The next chapter will be called Darkness Part 2. The increasingly familiar void was starting to disturb him. He could feel and evil presence whenever he was around his 'friends'. He was still shocked seeing 'Rarity' do that to her younger sister. He was starting to get up when he heard cheering. Cheering? Where could that be coming from? I don't see anypony here except for me. He started to walk towards the source of the cheering. It sounded like the cheering was coming from above him. He decided that he should go check it out. Even though his brain was yelling at him to turn around and stay away from the cheering. His thoughts suddenly left him when he saw the Cloudsdale Stadium in the distance. He had the feeling that he would find Rainbow Dash here. He was more shocked to see the thousand's of pony's in the stands with no eyes. A flash of color suddenly passed his eyes. He looked up in time to see Rainbow Dash looking at him with a smirk on her face. "Rainbow where are we?" "We, are in my Cloudsdale stadium." She said chuckling. "Your Cloudsdale Stadium? What do you mean your Cloudsdale Stadium?" "Ever since those idiotic WonderBolts rejected me. I decided to make my own Cloudsdale Stadium, of course I would need everypony's help with it. So, I recruited EVERY pegasus in Cloudsdale, and now I live here with them. You could call them captive's but I prefer you use the term 'slave'." She said glaring at Spike. "You live here now? You just abandoned your friends back in Ponyville for this false reality?!" He screamed at Rainbow Dash. Who was laughing uncontrollably at him. "Yes, I do live here and I would never, ever, go back there!" She then started to bleed through her eyes. The crowd started to cheer at the 'sight' of it. When she heard this she responded with a Sonic RainBoom that was made of pure darkness. "What about your friends? Aren't you loyal to them?" "Huh? Loyal? You want to speak about being loyal?! How do you think I felt when Pinkie repeatedly murdered me?! How do you think I felt when Rarity killed her sister? Don't even make me mention what happened to the others." She then reverted back to psycho Dash and continued with her performance. Spike saw this and left the stadium with a look of sadness on his face. The darkness saw this and 'inched' ever closer to the purple and green dragon. When Spike finally looked up after walking for what had seemed like hours. He was in front of Fluttershy's cottage. He some how knew he would have to enter it. He hesitated in front of the darkened oak door, then knocked. "Fluttershy? Are you in there?" He asked quietly. Even more quietly than the normal Fluttershy would. "Yes, I am in here. So now you know. Now, GET THE BUCK AWAY FROM ME!!" She yelled at him angrily. This caused the cottage to shake slightly. Afraid of the cottage collapsing on Fluttershy, he tried to coax her to exit the fragile building. "Fluttershy, I think it would be best if you exited the cottage before you bring the whole place down." "What would you know? You're just a dumb BUCKING dragon!" For some reason she seemed even angrier with him than before. If that could be possible. Before he could say anythiing else, the door slammed open in his face. Almost hitting him. He just stared shocked at what had become of Fluttershy. The yellow pegasi with the light pink mane was no longer standing in front of him. All that was there was a bloodied, cannabilistic pegasus. He looked past her into her cottage and saw what was making her so bloody. In her cottage were hundreds of small critters that would usually be roaming around her yard happily. He even noticed Angel in the pile of dead forest creatures. She had been feasting on them. The very though of her doing that made him gag. When he looked down at the pegasus, a look of annoyance crossed over her face. "I thought I told you to leave? Why are you still here?" She asked as calmly as possible. "F-Fluttershy? What have you been doing to your animals?" "I had gotten a little hungry at midnight. So, I started eating them. They are actually quite delicious. Wanna try one?" "No! How could you be so cruel to them?! You love animals, pony's aren't even supposed to eat meat! Your supposed to be a vegetarian. You used to be so kind. Now..you're just...just... just a BITCH." His last words seemed to hurt her. Even though this wasn't the Fluttershy he knew, he couldn't help but feel sorry for her. "Fine then! Have it your way! Even though since you are Twilight's pet, I should see how you taste."She said mischeiveously.(No sexual pun intended) "N-No, I think I was just leaving." Spike said uncertainly, walking backwards towards the door. Afraid of when he would turn around she would make her move. He just kept walking backwards until he was a few feet away from the cottage. She smiled to herself at the scene of a dragon cowering in fear of her. This made her feel more hatred towards him than ever before. //-------------------------------------------------------// Confrontation Part 1 //-------------------------------------------------------// Confrontation Part 1 An hour after Twilight and Starshine had left the hospital. They had quickly found each of her friends. After Starshine had explained what had happened with her and Spike, how they were very good friends. Twilight then suggested they make a plan to lure the possesed body of Spike to them. "We need to figure out a way to get him here. To come to us." Twilight said. "How do you suppose we do that,Twi?" The cowpony asked. "Easy, we need to find something he loves and set up a trap so we can capture him. It might not be easy, but it'll surely work. Now, only if we had something that he loved more than life itself." All the mares turned and looked at Starshine who just looked at them with a confused look on her face. "What? Don't look at me. I don't know what he loves."She said still oblivious to the fact that they were implying that she was what he loved more than life. "Oh, I see. But are you sure it will work Twilight? I mean this possesed Spike could already know our plan. He could be listening right now." She glanced around nervously. "Y-You mean he c-could be here r-right n-now?" Fluttershy stuttered. "Even if he was here I don't think that his 'conscious' would let him hurt us. Although, I am worried about what he will do to other pony's as well as small creatures." Fluttershy suddenly lurched foward and yelled, "GET OUT HERE DRAGONBOY!!", Her friends barely had time to react to her response when they all heard a roar coming from the center of Ponyville. When they reached the center of town they saw him closing in on Dinky Doo and Ditzy Doo. They were both screaming in panic. None of them able to fly due to the amount of fear for their lives currentyl setting in. "Stop it right there, scaly!!" Rainbow Dash screamed at the Teenage Dragon. He turned around what the minor disturbence was. His eyes were still emitting tendrils of black smoke. His scales had noticably gotten darker. And the red flames shooting from his nose also suggested that his flames had changed. He started walking towards them. Ready to fight them to their death. All the mare's could do was stare in horror as he walked closer. Clearly getting ready to spew fire at them, Twilight,with the help of the other unicorns, protected them from the fury of red flames assaulting them. When he had finished, their forcefield had shattered into tiny bits. "B-But that was an unbreakable forcefield. Shining Armour had taught it to me. And none of his fields ever break!" Twilight said the panic rising in her voice. Twilight was lost in her own world for so long that the dragon had began to walk towards them again. But this time his target was her! Rainbow Dash saw this as her chance to prove her strength to all of Equestria. She lunged at the steaming dragon with the force and mindset of a Sonic Rainboom. The though of her taking out the dragon with a Sonic Rainboom made her smile. Suddenly she heard her friends yelling at her. She couldn't hear them due to the speed she was traveling at. She turned to ask what they were saying when, "LOOK OUT!!", when Rainbow Dash turned around she saw a tail swing around and send her flying through the air unconscious. She hit the ground with a loud thud followed by a crack. They were sure she had broken something. It was Apple Jack's turn with the rampaging dragon. She just hoped she could stop this before more pony's got injured . Or worse. When Twilight finally came back to reality she saw Rainbow Dash fly through the air and hit the ground. After that, Apple Jack had taken off towards the dragon who was growing more and more impatient by the second. Twilight had started to run after Apple Jack when Rarity stopped her. "Let her handle this on her own. She knows what she is doing." I hope she knows what she's doing. I just don't want any more of my friends to get hurt. Rarity thought to herself. Twilight was about to reply when they all heard a bloodcurdling scream coming from the direction of Apple Jack. When they turned around they just stared in horror as they saw the cowpony on fire. They could tell she was in agonizing pain. It looked like her hoofs had been broken badly before she caught on fire. As Pinkie doused the fire with a bucket of confetti, that had come out of nowhere, the dragon turned to her with an evil glare in his eyes. The Pinkie that smiled and bounced was replaced by a scared for her life Pinkie. The remainig mare's all ran towards her as fast as they could. By the time they had gotten to Pinkie she had mysteriously disappeared. When they stopped in shock they all thought that Spike had swallowed her but when they looked at the dragon, he looked just as shocked as well. Then the pink mare simply appeared out of nowhere and started cowering away. It didn't seem like the normal Pinkie would be back for awhile. //-------------------------------------------------------// Darkness Part 3 //-------------------------------------------------------// Darkness Part 3 Spike slowly got up. He had fallen asleep while walking away from Fluttershy's cottage. He still needed to get out of this 'void' and feeling sorry for the 'others' wasnt helping him escape. He only had two places left to go to. Sweet Apple Acres and the one he feared the most, 'home'. He didn't know if he was ready or not to see what Twilight had become in this strange, twisted fantasy of some creature, he recently found out was called 'Element of Revenge'. His thoughts were interupted as he heard a scream coming from Sweet Apple Acres. He hadn't noticed he arrived there until then. It seems like he had been walking for longer than he had thought. The scream came again. It sounded like a terrified scream more than a scream of pleasure, like it was for Sweetie Belle. He immediately tried to source out the screams. But he couldn't seem to find any discernable source's. He then noticed a flash coming from the barn. He hadn't thought to have checked the barn for the source of the screaming. He grew more and more afraid as he slowly crept towards the flashing light and louder screams. As Spike slowly opened the barn door, he saw Apple Jack standing there smiling at the ground. Every time he heard a scream and saw a flash of light, her smile grew bigger than the last. "A-AJ? Are you okay?" "Oh, hi Spike didn't see you there. How are you doing?" She said still gazing towards the floor. "W-Who is screaming? It sounds like it's coming from below us." "Screaming? What screaming? I haven't heard anything since I came in here to empty the apple buckets."Apple Jack replied, obviously lying through her teeth. This wasn't like the normal Apple Jack. Then again, nothing seemed to be normal in the 'void'. All of his friends were like completly opposite their normal selves. He attempted to sak again. This time moving in closer to the stairs that led to the storage unit under the barn. "I'll only ask one more time, Apple Jack. Who's screaming down in the cellar?" Spike said trying to sound unafraid. "Spike, I still have no idea what you mean. We have no cellar, and there is definitely no screaming." She replied, taking the lie even further. He then rushed past her and ran down the cellar stairs. By the time he had reached the bottom of the steps she had come out of her daze and followed after him. He couldn't believe what he was seeing. Big Macintosh was using shock therapy on Granny Smith and Apple Bloom. He turned to Apple Jack with a look of anger on his face. It's working. It's actually working! The cowpony thought to herself.She noticed Spike's immitation of Fluttershy's 'stare'. He couldn't hold his anger in any longer. He couldn't stand seeing anypony being tortured like this. "Apple Jack! How could you do this to your little sister? Even more importantly, your grandmother?" "What do you mean, Spike? It's just me and you in the barn. There isn't anypony else here. The other's are all in the house." Spike could tell that she wouldn't give up that easily. The lying could go on forever, literally. There were so many different ways to lie to somepony. If she kept this going, he would have heard all of them by the time this was over. Spike sighed."Why do you keep lying, Apple Jack? You were the 'Element of Honesty', but now you're the complete opposite. What ever happened to the honest truth? Huh? Can you answer me that? Can you even talk withough saying a lie?" Spike knew it would be no use. Apple Jack would still lie and nothing would change that. When she responded her response had almost given him a heart attack. She had said,"Of course, Ah' can always tell the 'honest truth'. You can always count on me Spike." She said smiling warmly. He should have known that she would be lying. Even if it was a lie it still made him feel slightly better. He had almost forgotten the fact that she and her big brother were torturing their family members. He suddenly thought of his 'family'. Shining Armour, Twilight, Princess Cadence, Twilight's parents, and Celestia and Luna. He just realized that he was basically related to three alicorns, that were all royalty. While he was thinking of this, Big Mac had stopped torturing his family and turned towards Spike. Spike looked up to see Big Mac walking towards him with a tazer. He came out of his daze and looked around to find a way out. He remembered the stairs behind him. He turned to run up them but found no evidence of stairs ever being there. He was looking for another way out when he felt a sharp pain in the back of his head. He blacked out. When Spike woke up he was in the center of Ponyville. Something seemed different. Everything was quiet. It's never quiet in Ponyville. Even in the 'void's' version of Ponyville it wasn't quiet. He noticed that most of the streets were blocked off. All except one... the one that led to the Golden Oak's Library. The one that led to Twilight. To home. //-------------------------------------------------------// Confrontation Part 2 //-------------------------------------------------------// Confrontation Part 2 Fluttershy wanted to stop all of her friends form getting hurt. But she didn't want to get injured herself. What could she do? She decided that there was only one thing for her to try. It was a combo of the 'stare' and Iron Will's motivational training program. She walked past Rarity, Starshine , and Twilight who all gave her worried looks. "It'll be fine girls. Just please stay back." She said. They knew well enough that when Fluttershy was in her 'stare' mode or Iron Will mode. She wasn't a force to be reckoned with. "Spike, you have to stop this now!!!" She screamed giving him the 'stare'. She was hoping that she wouldn't have to use 'Iron Will' mode for this. But the 'stare' didn't effect him at all. It wasn't suprising though. Now she had to concentrate to draw out Flutter-Bitch as her friends had called her during the few days after Iron WIll's training program. She really didn't want them to see her like this again. But there was no choice. She had to do it for Spike and Twilight.  She had to do it for her friends. "Hrngggh!!! G-Girls, you might want to back away." Fluttershy said with pure rage coursing through her veins. They all took a few steps back. Even Starshine who didn't have the slightest idea as to what was happening at the moment. "You refuse? I'll make you Bruise!!" She yells running at full speed towards Spike. Hoping to do some damage to the dragon. She could hear her friends yelling for her to stop and turn back around. She didn't listen, she should have listened. The next thing she saw was the dragon's tail hitting her and throwing her through the air. She then crashed through  the window of Sugarcube Corner. Her remaining friends didn't know if she was awake or knocked out. They didn't bother to check. They just needed to stop Spike from hurting anyone else. It was Rarity's turn to step up. She didn't know what she would do, but she thought that she would use her charms against him. "I think I know what to do Twilight. I'll use my charms and good looks to stop him." Rarity proclaimed. "Rarity, I don't think that will work. This isn't the Spike that we know and love! This is a monster we have here!" "This monster is my little Spikey-Wikey. He would never hurt me." Starshine had yet to say anything. She was scared that this wouldn't work. There had to be something she could do. But, she couldn't do anything while Rarity and Twilight were in the way. She had thought of a plan a long time ago. She just had to wait to use it until they were done fighting him. "Mwahahahaha!!! You think that little 'Spikey-Wikey' wouldn't hurt you?! Well he's not here anymore, and he will never be coming back. But, I will have a fun time killing everyone. The princess won't even know that Spike is possesed because you all will be dead!!" Revenge said. "Even if he doesn't pull through this nightmare. We won't stop fighting you until one of us die's!!" Twilight said angrily. "Twilight!! I don't wanna die though!!" Rarity cried. Revenge noticed Rarity for the first time since she had stepped up to fight him. He knew that there was only one thing that she loved more than her friends. Her mane. He took a step towards her getting ready to fry her mane off. Twilight was trying to calm Rarity down to even notice this. When Rarity had finally calmed down, she noticed the burst of red flames moving towards Rarity. "Rarity! Look out!" She yelled. But it was too late. The flames had already engulfed her and burnt her mane clean off. Even her tail was gone. Twilight and Starshine were shocked to see that he had intentionally fried Rarity's hair off. Starshine was having trouble stifling a laugh at the sight of Rarity. Rarity on the other hand hadn't felt a thing. She didn't know her hair was gone. She didn't know why her friends were laughing at her. Well, Starshine was at least. Twilight just looked shocked. Rarity was just about to ask what was wrong. When she looked down into a puddle and saw what was wrong. She couldn't believe it, all of her mane and tail were gone. She couldn't stand to look at herself like that. She just ran home screaming and crying her eyes out. Now, it was Twilight's turn. She was planning to hit him with every single spell she had. She knew that it probably wouldn't stop him. But, it would buy them some time. She had always told herself that dying would never hurt. What came next was worse than dying. She had used a teleportation spell on the dragon. But, it just teleported him closer. She didn't want to have to use her fighting spells that Princess Luna had taught her. But, it seemed like she didn't have a choice. "Spike, I didn't want to have to use this. But, you leave me no choice." Twilight said as orbs started to gather around her horn. She fired a blast of magic towards him. It hit his right eye. She had meant to hit his forehead to knock him out. But, he was too tall for her. "Arghh!!" Revenge yelled clutching his right eye. It had actually hurt him. He didn't think it would, but it had. Everthing was going according to plan. He would 'lose'. They would 'win', and Spike would die for good. He would then be able to wreck havoc where ever he went. As long as he manifested himself in a living creature. Twilight didn't actually think that her blast would hurt him. She cringed as she heard him screaming in pain. She didn't want to know what happened to his eye. But, if he made it through this, he surely won't be using it anytime soon. She wasn't paying attention to him when he started charging towards her. The only thing that she could do was send another beam of magic towards him. She fired again, this time it hit his forehead dead on. But, not before he got a hit on Twilight. He had swiped his claws at her face. He missed but he definitely hit something. She blacked out. Now only Startshine was left. The 'Cutie Mark Crusader's had gone to help the other girls to the hospital. //-------------------------------------------------------// Darkness Finale //-------------------------------------------------------// Darkness Finale Spike was standing outside of the Golden Oaks library in Ponyville. He was afraid to enter. Even though this was the place he called home for so many years of his life. This was the one time that he didn't want to enter it. At least not alone. He heard something from behind him. He turned around and saw Trixie walking towards him. She didn't seem to notice he was there. She wasn't even looking where she was going. She was just staring at the ground. "T-Trixie? Is that you?" Trixie had been walking around in this strange place she called 'oblivion'. It was so dark, nopony was around, she was all alone. She was walking down a particularly long road when she hear somepony's voice in front of her. She looked up and saw Spike in front of the library. She instinctively fliched at the sight of him. She had thought that he was going to hurt her for what she had done to him. Even though it wasn't really her that did it. But, he probably didn't know that. She was suprised and a little bit scared when she didn't feel any pain from being hit. But, the thing that suprised her was that he didn't hit her at all. "Aren't you mad at me? For what I did to you? It is my fault that you are here in the first place." "No it isn't. I know that wasn't you. I know that it was someone called 'Revenge'. I think it was a corrupted element. Everypony here seems to be a corrupted element. I thinkn this is where Discord and Nightmare Moon came from. Well, the elements of 'Chaos' and 'Envy' anyways." "You're not mad at me? Even though it wasn't mentally me, it was still physically me. I put you into a coma. You could die from this, and you're not mad or even angry at me?" Trixie said in disbelief. "No, i'm not mad at you. But, I do need your help. I need your help trying to defeat whatever is in there. I've seen every one of the Elements of Harmony except for Twilight. They were all acting the opposite of what they usually act like." "You, need my help? Even after I put you into a coma? Aren't you mad at me? Not even a little angry?" "Will you just stop with that already!! I'm not mad at you! It wasn't your fault. You weren't you. You were the Element of Revenge." Trixie sighed. "Okay, i'll help you defeat them." "Good, now we need to think of a plan before we go in there. We don't know who's in there and who isn't. Do you have any ideas?" "No, no good one's anyways. All mine just include us barging in..there...Uh, Spike?" "Yeah, Trixie?" "When did we enter the library?" "What do you mean? We haven't entered the library yet. We're still outside of it see." Spike says as he turns around. His eyes widen as he notices that they are in the library. In fact, all of the Elements of Harmony are there. They were all surrounding them. "Don't worry little dragon. We're not going to harm you. We just want to talk with you. A little conversation that's all." They all said staring at Spike and Trixie. "Where is Twilight? I want to see Twilight." Spike said looking around the library at all the strange inventions and gizmo's. He didn't like the look of things here. He was afraid of what Twilight would act like. They were all acting like the opposite's of their normal selves. He was wondering what Twilight would act like. He was about to find out. "I hear that you're looking for me puny dragon. It seems that you found our little friend Trixie. Hehe, I didn't think that she would live this long. But, no worry's. She won't live through this. Just like you won't live through this." "Live through what? Nothing is happening right now." Spike asks Twilight. "Well, right as we speak. You're friend Twilight and somepony called Starshine is it? Are fighting you. They are trying to stop you from hurting them and the rest of Ponyville. But that's no use." "Who are you? Why are you here? You don't even want to hurt us yet you torture me with all of those sights that I saw. What are you?" "That is a very good question dragon. We are the Elements of Disharmony. I am the Element of Science. Rainbow Dash is the Element of Disloyalty, Apple Jack is the Element of Lying, Pinkie Pie is the Element of Sadness, Fluttershy is the Element of Hatred, and Rarity is the Element of Greed." Spike was about to ask a question when everything started to shake. He looked at the Elements of Disharmony but they were gone. Everything started to crumble around him and Trixie. The 'void' was getting destroyed. It wouldn't hold much longer. They had managed to make it out of the library before it collapsed. He started running down the street but there was nowhere to run. He looked behind him for Trixie, but she was nowhere to be seen. He was running out of space. The ground around him was gone. He knew he wouldn't make it. Even if he tried to jump. The ground below him gave out. He started falling into oblivion. He blacked out. //-------------------------------------------------------// Epilogue //-------------------------------------------------------// Epilogue Spike slowly opened his eyes. He looked around the room he was in. There were beeping machines everywhere around him. He somehow knew he wasn't in the 'void' anymore. He closed his eyes once again and fell into a much needed sleep. "Spike? Spike, wake up. Wake up Spike. Your friends are here to see you." Spike opened his eyes. He didn't know how long he was alseep for. He smiled when he saw Twilight walk into the room. But then stopped when he saw her horn wrapped in a cast. "Twilight, what happened to your horn?" "When you were possesed. You broke it. I can't use magic ever again." Spike didn't know what to say. He noticed that his vision seemed to be worse than before. If he had done that to Twilight he wondered what he did to the others. "Twilight? Why can't I see out of my right eye?" "Heh, sorry about that. You were charging at me. The only thing I could do was shoot you. I meant to hit your forehead. But I hit your right eye instead. You're blind in your right eye for the rest of your life." The news didn't shock him much. He was more worried about the others. If they were alright. He was especially worried about Starshine. He hoped that she didn't get injured at all. "May I see the others? One at a time though." Spike asked. "Sure, i'll go get them." Twilight said. Walking out of the room. He was worried about them. He didn't want to hurt them. But he had no choice. Spike's heart dropped when he saw Rainbow Dash walk in. Her wings were gone. She wouldn't be able to fly anymore. "D-Did I do that?" Spike asked pointing towards where her wings would be. "Yeah, you did. Heh, I didn't actually think you could do that squirt. Looks like you're stronget than you think." "D-Dash i'm sorry.I didn't mean to hurt you. I didn't mean to take your dreams away from you." Spike said beginning to cry. "Don't be. It wasn't your fault. You weren't yourself. If you want me to stay in here while the other;s come in I will." "Thanks, Dash. i would like that." "Okay, I will. But I don't even know what happened to the others. I only saw Twilight when she told me I could come see you. I don;t even know if I want to see them. I know you don't." "Yeah, i'm really sorry for what I did to them. I think AppleJack should enter next. Twilight would you go get her please?" "Yeah, i'll go get her for you. Be right back." Twilight replied. When Apple Jack entered Rainbow Dash and Spike didn't know what to say. She had lost her back legs and her eyesight when Spike attacked her. Spike was crying silently to himself. He didn't to see anymore of his friends get hurt. "I'm sorry Apple Jack." He cried. "Don't worry sugarcube. It wasn't yer fault. You didn't mean it. You couldn't control yerself." "Apple Jack? Are you okay?" Rainbow Dash asked. "Do ah look okay to you? I lost mah eyesight and mah back legs. So does that answer yer question?" She replied annoyed by her friends ingnorance. "What did you lose anyways? I don't remember you getting hurt." She heard Dash crying and automatically assumed the worst. When she answered it was worse than she thought. "Y-You lost yer wings? Ah'm sorry I didn't know sugarcube." "Don't worry AJ. It's no big deal. I can still walk on clouds. I just can't fly." Rainbow Dash said wiping away her tears. "Apple Jack? Could you stay in here while the others visit?" Spike asked. "Sure, what are friends for right?" "Yeah, what are friends for." Spike wispered to himself. The rest of the girls entered after that. Each time they broke down crying. Pinkie Pie had lost her voice. Rarity was bald for good, Fluttershy's face was scarred for life. However the one thing that hurt Spike the most was the news about Starshine. She had given her life to save his. She had drawn the Element of Revenge out of him and into her. After that she requested to be immortalized in stone in the Royal Gardens. Princess Celestia had agreed to do so. Right before Revenge took control over her, she wispered her final words. 'Tell Spike I live him'. Everyone was worried for him. Eventually Celestia saw a way out. She reversed the effects of that day. Dash got her wings back, Fluttershy's face wasn't scarred, Pinkie got her voice, Apple Jack could see and walk again, Rarity got her beloved hair back, and Twilight could use magic again. When it was Spike's turn to get his right eye back, he refused. When they asked why he said, 'I want it to be a reminder of what happened. I want it to be a reminder of Starshine.'. Everyone understood. He was going through a difficult time in his life. They hoped he would get over it soon.
