He hasn’t told any pony about this except Smolder, she said she had no idea about what was going on and that this wasn’t normal and she would ask Dragon Lord Ember about it. Spike could only hope she could help or else he was doomed. Ha still relying on your puny friends, pathetic. Spike’s shadow told him. “What the, wait a minute I’m only dreaming.” Spike said. Oh but I am part of you remember, I am every single part of you that is sinful, your greed, selfishness, darkness, and your lust, I know the way you look at those 7 mares as if they're actually your friends with especially the white unicorn known as Rarity, ha pathetic you should give up on that hopeless crush it will never work out, you’re just her slave, and that is all you ever will be, and that pink earth pony Pinkie Pie just wants to prank you and constantly laugh at you, oh and about that yellow shy pegasus Fluttershy she doesn’t show it but she fears you, and that orange pony Applejack you’re merely just a burden she doesn’t want to deal with, that cyan pegasus Rainbow Dash just sees you as a weak and pathetic runt, the reformed unicorn Starlight Glimmer only sees you as a backup friend, and your so called bestie Twilight Sparkle only sees you as an assistant and a pet you’re not her friend you’re just her servant, servant servant servant servant servant servant. Mwahahahahahahahahahahaha. "No you're wrong my friends do care about me, they love me." Spike argued in defiance, deep down he was starting to believe the shadow's words. Oh please I doubt you actually think that, one day Spike you will know your place with those so called friends you have. Spike woke up and clutched his head in tears of sadness and anger he remembered all those painful memories of the Mane 6 being uncaring and thoughtless towards him and began to cry but soon he felt a mighty rage and glared at his smirking shadow. “Get out of my mind!” Spike commanded. I’ll never leave Spike I am you, you won’t accept it but you will and you will embrace it. Soon he no longer saw the dark shadow and only saw his regular shadow. He was just hallucinating again. Dreams, hallucinations it didn't matter anymore. Spike began bawling his eyes out he couldn’t take it he feels like he’s trapped in a dark cave and he can’t escape. A Friend In DeedView OnlineNightmare SpikeA Friend In DeedStarlight went over to Twilight’s office, she knew she had to tell her about Spike’s dreams, before they begin to get out of control. Starlight then opened up the door to Twilight’s office and Twilight was shocked to see the unicorn. “Starlight what are you doing here?” Twilight asked annoyed that she interrupted her doing her paperwork. “I came to tell you something, and you might wanna hear this.” Starlight said in a worried tone. “Yeah no, I’m busy and you have students you need to counsel so get back to work.” Twilight angrily yelled. Starlight began tearing up, Twilight never yelled at her like that before. “Fine I’ll tell you later.” Starlight said in tears before walking off. Twilight then shook her head she had a pounding headache she didn’t mean to be so harsh on Starlight, she was just so busy and she didn’t like being interrupted so that’s why she yelled she would apologize later as she had work to do. Starlight walked out sighing realizing she would have to help Spike on her own. She then got an idea maybe she didn’t need Twilight’s help. School had ended and Starlight walked through the Canterlot Castle it was a very beautiful place. “Hi I’m here to see Princess Luna.” Starlight said to the guards. The guards then let Starlight in recognizing her immediately since she was a known hero in Equestria. Starlight then walked in the castle seeing Luna in the throne room. “Ah Starlight Glimmer, nice to see you again, is there something you need to discuss with me?” Luna asked. “Yes it’s Spike, he‘s been having nightmares lately and he hasn’t been telling us.” Starlight explained. “Interesting, I normally would be aware of such dreams.” Luna pondered putting a hoof to her chin. “Then how is this happening?” Starlight asked scared. “Perhaps I must visit Spike’s mind, I shall likely need some assistance from you Starlight, seeing as these are probably are not normal.” Luna exclaimed. Luna then opened up a portal to Spike’s mind as she and Starlight jumped in.

Starlight snickered. “Focus Starlight Glimmer we must now check his dreams, let’s see Wet Dreams, Happy Dreams, Ah here we go Nightmares.” Luna said looking over the files of Spike’s mind cabinet. “Wait what are these wet dreams, I’ve never had one before.” Starlight said in an innocent tone before opening the file and then saw things an innocent mind can not handle. “Gah, his dick was in Rarity’s blegh, what is wrong with that dragon’s mind?” Starlight asked incredulously. “Yes I probably should’ve told you what those dreams meant. Anyway here is his most recent dream.” Luna said snickering a bit. They then saw the dream where a shadow was tormenting Spike and from the looks of it, it seemed to be recurring. Luna then looked closer and realized what the shadow was. “The Pony Of Shadows!” Luna said in a shocked tone. “What but we banished him in Limbo.” Starlight said in a scared voice pacing. “We must return to the real world at once.” Luna said in a scared tone. The two magic users then returned to the real world in shock. “How did The Pony Of Shadows return?” Starlight asked in a worried tone. “I do not know but I shall be telling my sister at once, you alert Twilight and Spike before it is too late.” Luna ordered. The two then parted ways hoping to stop the evil creature.
A Concerned FriendView OnlineNightmare SpikeA Concerned FriendSmolder was concerned she knew about Spike's nightmares but could not figure it out. She knew the Molt didn't have these types of effects Ember made that clear, so it probably might have something to do with his own feelings but that's just it she had no idea what his feelings were so she decided to go see Starlight in her office so she can help. Starlight was sleeping in her office room when Smolder showed up and woke Starlight up with a jolt. "Gah, sorry no one has actually come in other than Cozy Glow, so what's the problem?" Starlight asked concerned. "It's Spike he's been having bad dreams, from what he told me they are pretty serious, I want to help him but I don't know how." Smolder admits with remorse. Starlight was shocked to hear Spike was having these dreams and felt really sorry for him and Smolder. "Well I know one thing this isn't your fault and for my advice some things probably can't be helped by just you alone so I'm glad you told me this Smolder I'll make sure to take care of this you should probably go to class though." Starlight advised Smolder who did as she was told and headed back to class. Starlight wasn't sure what would happen next but she knew one thing she needed to tell Twilight about this.
